Meet the artist behind Bitcoin Babes

This interview came about because of a friend and my god I am so glad he did because this is not just a simple collection this is going to be a game I cant say much but what I can say from the images and videos I have seen my god this can be one of the biggest games on WAX .

How did you discover NFTs?

Three years ago when I first minted Sandra the Sniper on Enjin:

Why did you choose WAX for your project?

It was one year ago when Ethereum gas fees were getting ridiculously expensive and Enjin wasn’t usable to send NFT transfers due to the gas fees, that I left Enjin and found WAX after some searching.

What is the idea behind your project?

Bitcoin Babes are WAX blockchain action characters that go on missions. There will be 100 total action heroes. The NFT characters are not just a collectible, they are also an in-game asset for the Bitcoin Babes metaverse that we are working on building. The first land for the game will be launching soon. Here are the current Bitcoin Babes characters: 1. Sandra the Sniper:

Sandra is the leader of the Red Wolves mercenaries. She was born into a successful family and lived free of worries until she was 17 years old, but at that point life changed. Terrorists descended on her town, killing everyone she loved. She joined a band of mercenaries and learned to fight, selling her gun to the highest bidder. She managed to rise in the ranks and crush all that’s in her way, quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. She’s humorous, brave, and loyal to a fault.

2. Queen Aminatu: https://wax.atomichub.io/explorer/template/bitcoinbabes/76707 Queen Aminatu is the daughter of the late Emperor Mansa Musa. Her father died when she was young, leaving Aminatu to assume the throne. She has ruled Mali since. She leads Mali’s army of 20,000 soldiers into battle to protect the Mali border and spice route from the Tuareg and Songhai nations that seek to control the salt and gold. She is interested in the latest fashions and loves anything gold. She has expensive tastes and enjoys collecting rare objects. The only thing that she values more than gold is the throne, which is why she fights to maintain her power in the Mali nation. Her beauty is enough to attract the eye of many a prince and princess, but she is also smart, intelligent, and resourceful. She has always been loyal to the Mali Empire and will do whatever is necessary to protect the kingdom.

3. A-Dena the Hacker: https://wax.atomichub.io/explorer/template/bitcoinbabes/105080 A-Dena is a hacker extraordinaire and master of disguise. Infamous for infiltrating a Facebook data centre and using social engineering, she now has the leverage she needs for her next job. Her life in Krasnoyarsk, Russia has been hard and she dreams of leaving but she needs a lot of money for the move and has secured a job in China Town to pull off her biggest score yet. A-Dena is fearless when it comes to hacking. Despite having a bit of social anxiety, she hides it with a strong front and would die for her friends.

Dr. Samantha Grey is a physicist specializing in energy particle dynamics. Her most recent invention, the Higgs-Kibble warp drive, brought her to the attention of team Bitcoin Babes and she agreed to design advanced weapons for them. She is developing a high-energy laser weapon for the team. She is currently a consultant at the Institute of Advanced Weapons Research on the planet Drovoyik. She is a popular lecturer at the university there and is writing a textbook on the theory of space-time manipulation.

The life of a galactic bounty hunter isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Valara knew this all too well, her life on Metalarin was no fairy tale. Desperate times call for desperate measures and no one was going to look out for her but herself. She had been living in the shadows ever since she left that planet; always running from her past mistakes. Mistakes that had put a price on her head. She would take any job no matter the size. A predicament that found her in unscrupulous company, working for a known assassin. It wasn't until recently that she learned what they were after: the key to the Intergalactic Key Vault, sealed away in the heart of a distant galaxy... A dangerous mission that many would call suicide. Once she finds the vault, her employer will pay any price imaginable to get their hands on its contents.

What is the process of making your NFTs?

For the Bitcoin Babes characters the process starts with me creating a concept sketch/design which I then hand off to a Bitcoin Babes 3D artist. Some of the other NFTs, like this one I created myself: https://wax.atomichub.io/explorer/template/bitcoinbabes/442208

What programs you use for creation?

Machine learning, Photoshop, After Effects. 3D software.

How long does each NFT take to create? The Bitcoin Babes characters take at least one month to create from start to finish.

What is your favorite NFT you have made? Why?

Probably the CHIT$ token. I was very happy with how the final 3D CHIT$ token turned out. And now it can be “tokenized” and converted to a blockchain token. CHIT$ is a holographic currency token with 1,000,000 maximum supply. CHIT$ will be used to purchase and blend components to build Bitcoin Babes Valara's spaceship. You will be able to use the spaceship to fly to other planets and mine precious minerals. There will be liquidity and staking for the tokenized NFT.

Working with Bitcoin Babes creative advisor Kindcoin on bouncing ideas around for the project. Meeting other people in the WAX community.

What has been the hardest part?

We want to create the best art and it’s a challenge finding people that work at that caliber.

I used to work on a fishing boat in the Bering Sea off the coast of Alaska.
