A creepy collection
***Hello, beautiful people from Read.cash!*** Today the month of October is over, so Happy Halloween for those of you who are celebrating it. Here in Venezuela, it isn't celebrated. I don't remember ever having celebrated it when I was a child. But in recent years, thanks to advertising and merchandising, many stores sell lots of allegorical objects for Halloween and costumes, so some thematic parties are made customary among young people and in some places children wear costumes and go out to do the trick or treating. But speaking of creepy and horror things, yesterday I was doing some house chores and I had to dust off my husband's collection of terror dolls.
Horror movies aren't my favorites. But my husband loves them and his collections of dolls are already a classic and I thought it could be fun to show them. If you like the terror genre, surely you recognize them all. And although I don't like some of the movies, the dolls seem pretty cool to me. The collection already has some years. My husband bought them all in the 90s.
In his collection, there is **Jason from Friday the 13th**, the character of one of the bloodiest movies and that I couldn't finish watching, **Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre**. My husband's favorite, **Ash from The Evil Dead**. **Norman Bates from Psycho**, Hitchcock's classic horror movie, based on the novel of the same name by Robert Bloch. **Chucky from Child's Play**. And **Chucky and Tiffany from Bride of Chucky**. Tiffany is my favorite of the collection, and the movie, although it isn't my favorite genre, seemed to me, more than terrifying quite funny.
**Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare** **on Elm Street,** this movie I remember giving me nightmares when I saw the first in the series. **Michael Myers from Halloween**. In the collection, he also has **Edward Scissorhands**, which isn't a horror movie. On the contrary, it's a movie of fantasy and romance which by the way I love, and it's one of my favorites by Tim Burton. In my photo gallery, I found this photo of the Chuckies and Tiffany from a few years ago. In it, the Chuckies hadn't started to lose their hair, hehe. They have so many years, that one is going bald and the other seems to have made a perm in his hair and have combed an afro.
Collecting could be a fun hobby. I remember when we were children, my sister used to collect smurfs figures, and recently, I found out that my aunt had them saved. And I showed some of them in Noise. https://noise.cash/post/lvx2p395 And googling for information on the weirdest collections, I came across a really weird one. A woman in Germany who collects toilet paper rolls. She would have been a hero at the time when basic products were scarce in Venezuela, and one of the most difficult to get and for which people paid a lot of money was toilet paper. My mother nowadays doesn't collect them, but she is always looking to have a large stock, just in case. https://news.yahoo.com/meet-woman-wholl-never-run-163911162.html For my part, I've never been a collector of anything. Maybe when I child at some point I collected cards and stickers. But I've never had a fondness for being a collector. And you, do you are a collector? If so, what do you collect? Thank you to my wonderful sponsors. You all rock! Special thanks today to @Jane for renewing her sponsorship. Thank you, sis! To you, my dear readers. Thank you so much! ***All images and writing are my own unless otherwise stated.*** © **CoquiCoin** You can find me also at ****Noise.Cash**** **⊛** ****Hive**** **⊛** ****Torum**** **⊛** ****Twitter**** https://noise.cash/u/CoquiCoin https://peakd.com/@coquicoin https://www.torum.com/signup?referral_code=coquicoin https://twitter.com/CoquiCoin Until next time! ;) October 31, 2021

Your husband really holds good collection of these creepy dolls, but I never collected anything like that, as I like to collect coins
That's cool, how many coins do you have in your collection?
Ok, your husband has quite the collection. I have never fancied collecting anything
Wow, I loved them. I am a fan of horror movies, I would like to have those dolls, they look great. They don't even sell them here.
Well, they don't sell them here now either. He bought them many years ago. Maybe on eBay, there are some, but no idea how much they can be worth.
I don't like Chuckie huhuhuh..He's so scary
I don't like Chucky either, but I find the bride very funny, haha
They are so scary and I don't think I would want to stay in such a place where these dolls are kept.
Haha! At some point, they seemed a bit creepy to me, but now I'm used to seeing them.
It's because you are always seeing them and they can't be scary to you anymore.
Yes, of course. Although, some of them I don't like at all, like the Leatherface.
Here in my city since I was young I always saw that in some places they celebrated Halloween parties. I always wanted to go to one. Thank God I never could. Now knowing what this day means for the occult I like it much less. I always collected coins but they are worthless today. They were collections of bills and coins given to me as gifts. They only have sentimental value.
It depends on the coins you have, if they are old, maybe they have some value.
Yes. I too thought the coins had some value and began to study them for numismatics. Two or three have some value like the Spanish pesetas which have been discontinued for euros. But nothing too expensive. Sentimental value they do have.
Maybe someday, some more will have some value. But of course, the sentimental value is important too.
He has the most wild collections and Jason is my favourite horrifying character... I don't think I could fully watch a horror movie to the end coz we are just opposite, I would freak out.. Maybe you are a collector of Bitcoincash 😄... that's some achievement.. happy Halloween Coin
Haha, if I start watching them I rarely finish. And I prefer being a BCH collector. Cheers Gozie!
Well of course I love Edward Scissorhands, I am like you Eliana and not really a fan of horror films, in fact not at all. Cool wee statues that hubby has though and I did recognise most of them as they are pretty iconic characters.
Yep, I pass from horror movies, especially those that are gory. I don't like them at all.
yeah gory not my scene unless I write it hahaha
Haha! And you're good at all the gory thing writing 🤣🤣
What a good collection you have at home. By any chance, aren't you the owners of the famous mysterious house with its windows full of doll heads? LOL
I'm not, lol ;)
That house is creepy...
I haven't been there. Where is it?
It's in Santa Rosalía. But, I don't remember the name of the street.
I wouldn't be able to sleep if I knew there was a Chucky doll on the premises haha I hate that doll, and it scares me too much!
Haha! The first Chucky movie was terrifying. But the one I like the least of these figures is Leatherface.
I meann.. why!! Chuckie is there! If we had that in the house, I'd always think it'd move! Hahaha, interesting hobby, but maybe not for a weak-hearted like me. 🤧
Haha, I don't like it. But I'm not afraid of it. lol
Scary collection indeed. Heart patients must stay away from it.
Haha! The truth is they aren't very creepy if you don't think about the movies in which they appear, hehe
I immediately recognized Chucky and Tiffany, I love that couple 😅 I later recognized Jason, Leatherface and Freddy Krueger, I don't knowe the others. I was thinking Annabelle would have been among the collections but I didn't see her, you can ask your husband if he have watched the movie Annabelle, that's one very creepy doll
Yes, of course, he's watched Annabelle, and so do I. hehe. But these are from older movies. He bought them in the 90s, and Anabelle is a more recent film.
Oh, now I get it 😅 those collections are really from old movies
Jason, Freddy, and Michael are so freaking cool. I haven't seen a cool collection like this, this made me think of having some of mine too HAHA
Haha, maybe you can find some for sale at a site like eBay, hehe.
Cool collection! But, I think it's just scary to have them sitting around, lol! I had a collection of stamps and I even have ones dated so long ago, I started it when I was little, so when my grandma noticed that I've been into collecting, she gave hers.
These seemed a bit scary to me at the beginning, but after so much time, I guess I'm used to seeing them, lol. And about your collection of stamps, maybe some of them have some value now.
Oh wow! Those are awesome collections by your husband! And to think that he bought them in the 90's and they still look so new is amazing! I am a collector of memories, my friend hehehe
I could say, I also collect good memories. And I think it is the best thing that can be collected in life.
Cheers sis hehe :)
So Chucky has been existing since the '90s 🤯 i saw the movie around 2019. I can say that's the only horror movie i enjoyed.
The first Chucky movie is from the late 80s. And I can say that I don't like any horror movie, but Bride of Chucky's was quite funny.
Very nice collection, but I prefer to collect rocks. If I had a Chucky I would put it on the front porch of the house.
Haha! If I had to choose I would also choose to collect rocks, my friend ;)
