I'm much like you a beginner. I hope to learn more as well. :)
Discovering that a cryptocurrency transaction getting innumerable "Confirmations" on the distributed ledgers, i.e., blockchains, gives me an immense sense of technical peace of mind!
During the last year of my participation in ReadCash blogging, I could reinforce most of my theoretical knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
Now, I am going a little further by trying to develop a technological solution to protect the private keys and the seed phrases that can be easily memorized or hard to forget!
How do you take care of your seed phrases and private keys?
I have learned that cryptos are volatile. I should have to learn more and as a noob too, I search and read some articles about it. Though at times it cost me headache when there more complicated issues and other crypto things that wasn't clear for me.hehehe
I have learned a bit. I'll admit I'll read some articles and be done reading and be more confused. I'm starting to understand some basics. I guess we have to learn from the bottom (basic level) and add on to it.
Right Bob. We can learn if we push to take some time even little by little. That is why for some colleagues before who just utter some words without doing some research. I always tell them, its not bad to learn more about crypto, it just depends on you.
So true I get a lot of mentions sometimes for my take and knowledge on crypto. I have to ignore because I don't have much to offer. I guess that is what I lack here. For this year I hope to have better knowledge on it
I have learned about the risks with the assets if we are holding cryptos. Sometime it goes high sometime low. Whenever I tried to buy the market goes down after that and when I sell the market goes up, which was annoying and when I started to hold all my earning the market seems died and still I am holding some bch which is about 70$ right now, with a huge loss. Though I used to cover my month with profit of bch but I can not do that at all. Still hope that there will be up and I will buy my laptop with the profits. Though it could be possible if market was like before but it is just dream now!
Yes I've learned it's very volatile. Also the speed and availability is amazing. I can send money across the world and it's available to user immediately. I am a noob though I got much to learn
We all have got to learn many things, slowly we will learn but most of the time we learn from the mistakes.
@pajeroz was the closest with the earliest answer of left eye and shoe size 12. The answers are left eye and shoe size of 13.
Honestly I don't know what is crypto about ,I don't have any idea what is it until I joined read cash and noise cash and there I learned that inorder to grow you need to invest and wait and patient on waiting coz crypto experienced the ups and down.Nad ofcourse invest wisely too.
The thing about cryptocurrency I most like is the options you have if you looking for fast transactions with low-fee crypto then go for bitcoin cash, if you want to invest in crypto for the future go for bitcoin/Ethereum, if you want to invest in an altcoin go for dogecoin. There are so many options for all sorts of uses in the cryptocurrency world.
The fees are always something that get talked about when we talk about the use case of crypto, and of course the lower the fees the more attractive the use case, right? But there are NO fees when using fiat. So, I am always curious why we tend to talk about low fees as a benefit to crypto when the reality is that it makes crypto LESS attractive.
I mean, the reality is most people use some form of a debit card or credit card for their fiat transactions, and there ARE fees to those. BUT, those fees are paid directly by the companies who do the transaction. Granted, those costs are ultimately passed along to us. But what we pay at the register is what we pay at the register.
If we pay at the register with crypto, because of the fees, we pay more.
I LIKE crypto. At the same time I have always thought that crypto lacks good marketing, and has failed to present an actual use-case that makes sense to the average person. My description has long been that "crypto is a solution looking for a problem," and I think THAT is THE biggest hurdle it faces in achieving any sort of mass adoption.
Time will tell, of course. And in the meantime, I will continue to play along for whatever it is worth.
Sorry sir Bob, When I enter the community I don't have any idea about cryptocurrency, and for every little amount I received I don't bother to trade because aside from being clueless, I need to convert them into pesos and use for my additional expenses for our needs.😔
That is one of the things that has plagued crypto. The die-hards will say not to exchange it for fiat. That it defeats the purpose. But the reality is that most places still do not accept crypto. So in order to spend it you HAVE to exchange it for fiat.
Money, or let's just say a currency, is worthless if no one recognizes it as actual money. And until crypto solves this problem, it will ultimately have no value UNLESS it can be exchanged for something that people DO consider to be actual money.
I was the same Maria I knew very little. Heck I'm still much behind the power curve when it comes to cryptocurrency. I hope to take a step forward this year not only learning but using it in ways I haven't yet
Right now, for me, crypto has no practical "use-case." Not a single one of them. That is FOR NOW. Just wanted to emphasize that. So, as it stands right now, crypto is simply something I accumulate and earn and hold for the meantime. I have no idea if it has any future value whatsoever, which is also the reason crypto remains a very tiny portion of my total portfolio.
I am very happy that cryptocurrency will give us financial freedom. but I'm so unlucky that I don't have enough cryptocurrency yet to earn my financial freedom. I wish the new year brings happiness, health, peace and prosperity to all of us.
I honestly have never bought into this idea that any currency by itself CAN offer financial freedom. The thing is, the only way we achieve financial freedom is through hard work and a plan. That is, a FINANCIAL plan. And by INVESTING in things that create more value. Money alone cannot provide that. Putting money to WORK is what does that.
Make $1 of fiat or $1 of crypto. You still only have $1. The only way you turn that dollar into $2 is by doing something with that $1 that generates the growth. Simply having it in your hand is not a path to financial freedom.
If $1 of fiat can't do it. What makes anyone think $1 of crypto can? The only way money can be made and grown is by producing things that create a higher value than we bought into.
I agree with everything you said. You are quite right. Yes, $1 does not give us financial freedom. $1000000 provides financial freedom
The jackpot is still available. I'll let some that haven't guessed guess. If no one guesses correctly I'll give it to the closest. There's time still, I woke up from sleep and will be going back to it. If your late to answer question no worries I'll still rain for that.
During the time that i read about in crypto its hard to adopt sincr im new and nothing to know more, but because of so many people shares the knowledge in crypto little by littlr i know how to make it in the world of crypto and one thjng that i reallg like thr most is the exciting part when they boom again and make a better value to make everyone feel the efforts that provide
Honestly, I am not that knowledgeable about crypto currency. I belong to myself as a noob here haha. But, something I learned from it is that, we need to face what it offer us
Wow hard keeping up. Im bouncing between all rounds, haha. Let's close this off. I'll rain again here on all you. My jackpot question what eye did I have surgery on twice this year and what size shoe do I wear (choices 9 - 17). I'll come back later I have some things to attend to.
I see others posted left eye, so I'll pick this one too ;) Shoe size 9. Just cause nobody typed it yet ;)
Let me guess haha ,I think your left eye nd your shoes is size 10😄
To corroborate the answer about eye surgery is the left eye. try to browse this

Like a pirate.

-The eye you operated on is your left eye sir.
-Shoe size, I guess yes,

Congratulations and thanks for participating yet again. Remember to share $2.00 with at least 5 individuals or as many as you want.
Thank you again Mr @Coolmidwestguy, I thank you for this gift. This is a New Year's present for me.. Alright I'll give out $2.
Left eye and your shoe size maybe is 11?, thats a though one, lol. XD
Honestly Im not yet knowledgeable in crypto since im just a newbie in this kind of platform. But all I can say is that the crypto is unpredictable. You can never say when its value will boom up or when it will down. But Im really glad that I was able to be part of this platform where I was able to earn and learn about crypto 🤑
Since getting into the crypto world, the main thing I've learned is that I can make money in the virtual world. It takes a long time to understand step by step about the mechanism of crypto because it is basically not like virtual currency. Creating an account on the exchange market, creating a wallet, saving, withdrawing and the most interesting thing is investing.
Especially Bitcoin Cash, it turns out that the difference with other coins can be felt when using it. It performs very well, is easy to use and costs are low. This is very different from other coins which have different mechanisms.
In conclusion, we will understand which cryptocurrency is interesting for us to use, when we have been in it for a long time. Investing and analyzing which coins will increase is the way to grow digital assets.
I have to skip out, sir. But I will return and do my part. :) Thanks for the fun.
Thanks for the participation you contributed well to the fun. Take care
All because of the diamond idea from Mr. I like
I still consider myself to be a relative newbie to crypto, but I am a fast learner. I think the thing I like the most is the opportunity it offers, IF it can become something of real value, which is to be seen, and can have the impact it aims to, which I still find myself questioning.
Mainly because I still think money is money and changing the currency doesn't change how we make it, grow it, invest it, or improve our lives through it.
Making money will always require know how, precision, great care, and vast amounts of knowledge—at the same time crypto does offer interesting ways to grow it and earn it, and I find all of that rather interesting.
It will be fun to see where this little experiment is 10 years from now.
I strongly agree with your statement that "money is money and changing the currency doesn't change how we make it, grow it, invest it, or improve our lives through it."
It makes me curious if selling money with money is a sustainable financial technique. What do you think?
It makes me curious if selling money with money is a sustainable financial technique. What do you think?
Making money with money is a concept. But it is never the money itself that produces the growth. In order for money to grow and for one to have more of it, something must be produced that introduces profit and therefore value.
If you take $100 and invest it into a company, for example, that makes something, that $100 can become $110, and $120, and so on and so forth. The money is simply the means by which we transact together, either to buy something for value, or to invest in things that create value.
The money itself is the means by which we do that. Not the source.
And it is the beauty of cryptos, or of the crypto world, to be able to make real what cannot be seen, what is like the air, that you do not see it but you know it is there.
In 10 years I dare to say that the AI will already be making decisions for us about which cryptos to buy or sell, and the matter is a bit alarming because it is possible that they are deciding what we should wear, where we should go and what we should eat , so I see it as very necessary that we be very alert about it, we must be critical, question everything and put aside the laziness that these AI do everything for us, because although they are genius, what is important is that we ourselves we are in control of making our decisions and that we do not let the AI make them all the time for us.
So let's be aware of our abilities, to develop ourselves and not let these geniuses do the work for us all the time.
Well I should join the noob club with you. I do watch it and do try to learn from it. Since we're in the same country I just seen the first ever crypto commercial a few weeks ago. CoinBase!! Which is the only website I have used so far.
No doubt we are heading towards more digitalisation world where Crypto has vital role in payment method. Glad to know your experience about handling the things in polite but professional way.
At the same time, I am not sure I am with the crowd who believes fiat will cease to exist. I find that part to be pure fantasy.
Crypto is a ocean where we always learn new things. Sometimes in happiness by earnings and sometimes in sadness by intacted to scams. I learn that in Crypto never go for greediness of huge. Because in most cases it stressed me whenever I keep pending the order in hope of " more". Which ends up in some collapse. Other thing , never rely on one source. If we took only Crypto as our core stream earning then may be we ( as my experience) will be wrong. I learned that we should not put all eggs in the bucket of uncertainty.
I agree. I leraned that too haha
I feel the same way guy. I diversify many stocks, I haven't added crypto currency to my portfolio yet. Maybe when I learn more I will add it
If there is one thing I learn about Crypto it is to learn more about trading before indulging myself into it. Crypto is like our life it has ups and downs. We have to ready ourselves whenever we experience the down time of it.
Yes I have definitely noticed that about it. I'm a noob when it comes to it but I do listen and try to understand it.
I only know basic trading.
When it comes to any investment, no matter what we are investing in, it is always the best decision to make sure you fully know what you are investing in and why. You should know what offers value and how it will grow to provide the return you are after. Going blindly into any investment is a sure fire way to lose your money, and frankly, you would have better chances in a casino.
I don't know how to play in Casino too
I learned that by letting my neighbors know about the benefits of BCH, I found the great interest they have in launching ventures that range from sewing workshops to hamburger deliveries through Instagram, incorporating BCH payments in each one of them. them.
I also educated them on how to learn to invest their bch in different DEXs, about yield farming and other things. Through all those processes that I carried out in good faith without seeking any benefit, I received the best gift I can have: people who are always looking out for me and when I had that difficult situation of paralysis this year, I collaborated. with me as a token of their appreciation for me integrating them into the BCH world.
oh. the good they have enjoyed. Has the neighbor lived a good economic life?
I'm not sure I understand your question, but I assume you mean the young man who underwent surgery on his leg. Yes, he was able to walk again at 40 days, and that's fine, he is now a fan of BCH and tries to get the message out to everyone he knows.
Unfortunately he had to sell his phone for economic reasons, and for a long time I didn't know about it, but he promised that as soon as he could buy another phone, he would leave messages again, he was in noise.cash.
lol.
I mean, that neighbor of yours. You have advised them about using cryptocurrency. Has their economic growth increased? when using crypto currency.
Oh my neighbors. Well, one of them is doing very well in his hamburger sales business, because people pay him for hamburgers in BCH, and due to this factor, the raw material supplier (the bread distributor and the person who sells him the meat), they have offered you discounts if you pay in cryptos, since it is much cheaper to pay in BCH than in fiat currency, so I can say that yes, they have progressed economically, because now they have more liabilities in BCH and people are It brings the business closer to seeing that most people pay using the phone, without using the banks, simply by scanning a QR code.
It's good that you gave awareness and got someone on board. I'm still on the fence trying to learn and understand. I'm stubborn in my thinking of crypto but I really am giving it a fair shake. How long have you been involved with it if you don't mind me asking
In the crypto world I am at least 10 years old, that's by eye per cent.
I have been in the technological world since I can remember and that goes back to my childhood, when since I was little I liked to take apart the games that brought marbles through a maze to understand how they worked. I would take them apart and put them back together, gluing them with kindergarten glue, this happened when I was about 5 years old.
Then in my youth interest awoke more with the atari 800 and the atari 2600 and there I can say that all this technological path began, around the 85s approximately.
In some ways that is one of the things I THINK I can see crypto helping to do, is putting people in a different mindset of sorts when it comes to money, and people wanting more to contribute more of themselves—even in a monetary way—everyone helping each other.
And it is one of the great functions of cryptomendas: being able to be an option, a lifeline for people who are in need.
I mention an example (and this is not to follow the dynamics of this event, I am writing this because I am a writer prompting me to write in this way, dear @coolmidwestguy :D), it is the case of a user of the alias Uwanderer in noise. app, which is one of the collaborators of a care center for children and adolescents in extreme poverty on one of the islands in the Philippines.
This young man named Kuya collaborates by making food for them, educating them, and on several occasions I have already provided him with audiovisual materials to educate these young people, so that they learn, for example, how to be virtual assistants (I provided them with a 3-hour video course where they were explains in detail how to do everything) and in this way a community of people in need learned through me, because although I do not have the financial resources to help them, I help them by teaching them how to generate an income, how to take advantage of the potential of these technologies , which can be accessed through a telephone as I have seen happen in other cases, in Nigeria, in places that are difficult to access, where receiving a donation is almost an impossible mission.
And that is when our BCH comes into play, when a person who lives on a remote island in the Philippines receives $10 to buy food in just a matter of seconds, and whoever sends it to them is on the other side of the world, in China. .
Or the case of families in Nigeria, who need to pay for their son's leg surgery and have not been able to get the money because it is the weekend, and the BCH through a transfer from the USA has saved them, because an enthusiast of the cryptos decided to help them, and that family managed to receive the money to pay for the surgery in a matter of minutes.
That is what I think is great about BCH, that is what gives it infinite added value, and that is what should be taken into account.
I have seen it's speed and how it can be aid for those that need it. That's probably my favorite part about it already. It can happen in a place where we are chatting right now. Very simple!!
And I see the importance in the simplicity of its use, when people see that with a single click they can make a payment for a service, or buy vegetables, loaves of bread, food, etc., they immediately get excited because they think about the benefits : You don't need to carry cash with you (less chance of someone stealing it, that's something very important in high crime countries like Venezuela), the management is fast, and here comes my favorite part: the commissions are minimal and cause laughter =)
So there are many reasons why it is important, and that without going into more technical aspects and issues that I also know about, such as the size of blocks and the way to create nodes, mine the bch and other things that require putting on the glasses and the nerd hat to talk about them XD.
What I learned in cryptocurrency is to invest only on what I am willing to lose and crypto is not always winning, there are times that you lose hard. I understand crypto in general sense but to the details, I am still a beginner. What I fear in crypto is the scammers and the people who just wanted to get investments, hard earned money of others for their own benefit. I hope I can learn more this 2023.
