Hmm, I think it's because pleasure leads to satisfaction. And if you are satisfied with something, you crave for more. You expect more. It's a natural thing among humans, we will never be contented with something. The more we grow, the more our ranks rises, the more the value of our needs and wants rises too. But what if it doesnt meet your satisfaction because you're used to that much of pleasure? Then you'll end up getting hurt.
