Wealth, Excellence, Status - these are different words with different meanings but they do share one important thing. They are all outcomes. They are not obtained by themselves. They need a seed, a root, a foundation. If excellence were the tallest building in your city, and you ripped it apart until only the core existed(foundation). What you would see is COURAGE.

A boy found himself at the edge of a deep gorge (a deep narrow valley with steep sides), spanned by a narrow wooden Bridge held in place by ropes that looked like they would break with the swaying of the bridge. He had to Cross to the other side to continue his journey. Far below, a shallow stream glowed, it's swift currents splashing on the rocks.
They were troops on the sides of the bridge that one could hold on to for support. However, these appeared very weak and ready to snap. He stepped onto the bridge. It gave a frightening squeak. His heart began to thump loudly in my ears as he put another foot forward. The bridge gave several more complaining creaks. Slowly he inched his way forward, holding on to the dusty feeble ropes. The creaks now intend to rattles as he approached the middle of the bridge. It began to sway. This time he was not only trying to keep his balance, he also had to maintain a firm foothold on the surface made slippery by a film of accumulated dust. A couple of steps later the bridge swayed uncontrollably.
He turn around and look back; he was right in the middle of the bridge. To go back was as dangerous as to proceed further. What does he do now?
Courage is a thing that gives you a platform to build on. Every starting block it's made up of unknowns. And I want you to never be fearful of these situations, but be thankful for them. They are the roots that allow the tree to grow. The only thing required for you to move forward is having the courage to say YES.
Life is an opportunity. The world around you is opportunity. Some people close their eyes and ignore it while others choose to see it. Courage is never closing your eyes. Everything around you is Courage. That building you are working by, someone had the courage to start it. That article you are reading, someone had the courage to sit and write. The music you are listening to, someone had the courage to put their heart out there, into the world, to embrace the critics and envious.
Courage is understanding that simple and easy are very different words. It's incredibly simple to work harder than the person next to you. It is simple to move out of your comfort zone if you have courage. You don't need understand Einstein's theory of relativity to be able to do those things. But, they are insanely difficult.
Courage is the understanding that fear becomes progress, that being nervous transforms into excitement. Be courageous.

Courage is one thing we have to look up to when we a stacked in an act. We should try as much as possible to put fear aside and facing what is before us. Nicely written. I love your article.
