Simon est chargé d'établir des **partenariats stratégiques** pour la croissance future de l'entreprise, en comblant le fossé entre le client De Rapids et ses produits.
Simon a acquis une grande expérience dans l'Industrie Cinématographique et a passé les quatre dernières années à diriger le festival du court métrage de Carmarthen Bay (BAFTA Short Film, BAFTA Cymru et IMDb qualifying festival) au cœur du Pays de Galles, au Royaume-Uni.
En mai, Rapids se rendra au Pays de Galles et participera à ce festival. Le CBFF n'a cessé de se renforcer au fil des ans. Depuis son premier festival en 2012, il est passé de 35 propositions à plus de 1 000 provenant de plus de 70 pays pour le festival de 2020. Non seulement le nombre de propositions a augmenté au fil des ans, mais le nombre de cinéastes et de participants au festival a également augmenté et, à cette occasion, Rapids présentera l'un de ses derniers développements au sein et autour de l'événement.
Rapids Network offre un énorme potentiel pour les créateurs de films comme Simon, telle que l'utilisation des NFT et en même temps nous allons explorer les possibilités d'un système de Billetterie décentralisée sur la Blockchain Rapids pour les événements futurs et plus encore.

The Year So Far!
2022 is in full swing and for Rapids’ new developments we are edging closer for release. The Quote, *“Rome wasn’t built in a day”* comes to mind, **it takes time to create great work, and that while you cannot expect success to come right away, it will be achieved with continued persistence**.
Many things have been initiated since the first of January, including the development of Rapids Explorer, Launchpad, integration of features and further stress testing of RPDx on the Rapids Blockchain and who can forget Raptic, introducing him to many established communities…
**Raptic Hits ATH!**
As a reminder, in the first quarter of 2022 we saw a massive growth in the uses of Raptic in different Telegram and Discord servers. In January we could count Raptic used in 201 groups with nearly 30,000 users. At the end of March Raptic was used by more than 37,000 people in 228 groups (Telegram and Discord combined)
**What about bRPD?!**
Since the beginning of this year we have improved the Rapids Bridge which allows you to convert your Rapids (RPD) to Wrapped RPD (bRPD) and use them on Binance Chain dApps. We have also integrated it with Raptic (our Tipbot) on Telegram and Discord.
To stimulate community interest in bRPD and to allow us to develop new opportunities for the use of Wrapped Rapids (bRPD), we are continuing until further notice to reward the largest Liquidity Providers (LP) in the bRPD/BNB and bRPD/BUSD pools whilst actively reaching out to third party BSC platforms for further integration for our bRPD token. Although this isn’t a main priority, we listened and agree that exposure on BSC will ultimately attract its users to RPD when we start releasing products.

The new explorer will be foundation for a host of future features that are set to be released with the RPDx mainnet. **Rapids Network is about to enter a new era**, but far from everything you may know, with Simon on the team it can be said with confidence Rapids is going to create a real upheaval in the blockchain space.
How Will Rapids Grow?
Simon is tasked with building **strategic partnerships** for future business growth, bridging the gap between Rapids customer and product.
Simon comes with a wealth of experience in the filming Industry, and has spent the last four years directing Carmarthen Bay Film Festival BAFTA Short Film, BAFTA Cymru and IMDb qualifying festival in the heart of Wales UK.
In May, Rapids is heading to Wales and will be attending the Festival. CBFF has gone from strength to strength over the years. From their first festival in 2012, they have gone from 35 submissions to well over 1000 from 70 plus countries for our 2020 festival. Not only have the submissions increased over the years, but the number of filmmakers and festival patrons attending has as well and at this time Rapids will be demonstrating one of our newest developments in and around the event.
Rapids Network offers huge potential for film creators like Simon, such as the use of NFTs and at the same time we’ll be exploring the possibilities of a decentralized ticketing system on the Rapids Blockchain for future events and more.

Rapids NFT Royalties ...
Le marché des NFT est en train de devenir une partie de plus en plus importante de l'univers des Cryptomonnaies. À ce jour, le Market Cap total des NFT est de **plus de 30 milliards $**, ce qui représente 1,43% du Market Cap actuel de 2100 Milliards $ pour la totalité des Cryptomonnaies.
Maintenant, **Rapids Network est sur le point d'entrer sur le marché des NFT**, mais loin de tout ce que vous pouvez savoir, Rapids va créer un véritable bouleversement dans cette activité. Aujourd'hui, alors que nos développeurs sont en train d'introduire le système de Royalties au sein de RPDx, nous allons examiner les royalties et leur fonctionnement avec les NFT.
**Tout d'abord, qu'est-ce qu'un NFT ?**
Un **NFT**, autrement appelé **Non-Fungible Token** (***Token Non Fongible***), est un actif financier défini par ses propres caractéristiques et qui n'est pas interchangeable. Un NFT peut prendre différentes formes :

Le fait qu'il soit "***Non Fongible***" **signifie qu'il est unique**, et **ne peut donc pas être remplacé par un autre**, **ni être fragmenté en plusieurs parties**.
Quelques exemples :
***Une pièce de 1€ est fongible car elle peut être remplacée par 100 pièces de 1 centime.***
***Une tonne de blé est fongible, car elle peut être vendue au détail et en différents poids.***
***Une Œuvre d'Art est non fongible car elle est unique et ne peut jamais être remplacée par une œuvre identique.***
***Un Ticket d'Avion est Non-Fongible, car il contient des informations uniques (numéro et identifiant du ticket, votre nom, votre siège, votre référence de réservation...).***
Dès qu'un créateur vend son NFT, il perçoit le montant de la vente, ce qui est normal me direz-vous, il transfère également le droit de propriété à l'Acheteur, et n'a plus rien à dire sur l'avenir ou le prix du NFT mais que se passerait-il s'il pouvait continuer à gagner de l'argent avec son NFT pour toujours... C'est désormais possible, grâce à l'introduction des Royalties que le Créateur continue à percevoir sur chaque vente après la vente initiale de son NFT.
**Comment fonctionnent les NFT Royalties ?**
Traditionnellement, après la première vente, le créateur n'a pas la possibilité de suivre les transactions ultérieures de son œuvre. Une fois que l'œuvre a été vendue, sa rémunération s'arrête là. Indépendamment de l'accroissement de leur notoriété au fil des ans, il ne gagne rien de leur travail une fois qu'ils l'ont vendu.
**Les NFT ont permis de changer complètement cette situation. Les créateurs peuvent recevoir leur juste part des ventes de leurs créations à perpétuité.**
Les NFT royalties sont des paiements automatiques au créateur sur les ventes secondaires. Elles sont codées dans le Smart Contract (Contrat I)ntelligent de la Blockchain. La Blockchain Rapids et ses Smart Contracts fonctionnent ensemble pour garantir l'identification du créateur et le versement des Royalties immédiatement après la fin du processus de vente. Cela élimine tout risque que le créateur soit escroqué de ses royalties.

Rapids Royalties…
The NFT Market is becoming an increasingly important part of the Cryptocurrency Universe. To date, the total market capitalization of NFTs is about **$31.4 billion**, making up 1.53% of the current $2.05 trillion total market cap for cryptocurrency.
Now **Rapids Network is about to enter the NFT market**, but far from everything you may know, Rapids is going to create a real upheaval in this business. Today, as our developers are currently introducing the Royalty System within RPDx, we are going to explore royalties and how they work with NFTs.
**Firstly what is an NFT?!**
An **NFT**, otherwise known as a **Non-Fungible Token**, is a financial asset defined by its own characteristics and which is not interchangeable. An NFT can take various forms:

The fact that it is ‘**Non-Fungible**’ **means that it is unique**, and therefore **cannot be replaced by another**, **nor can it be fragmented into several parts**.
Some examples:
***A 1$ Note is Fungible because it can be replaced by 100 coins of 1 cts***
***A Ton of Wheat is Fungible, because it can be sold in retail, and in different weights.***
***A Work of Art, is Non-Fungible because it is unique, and can never be replaced with an identical one***
***A Ticket is Non-Fungible, because it contains unique information (ticket number and identifier, your name, your seat, your reservation reference…)***
As soon as a creator sells their NFT, they get the exchanged asset from the sale, which is normal you will say, they also transfer the right of ownership to the buyer, and has nothing more to say about the future or the price of the NFT but what if they could still earn from their creation forever… Now they can, by introducing Royalties the creator carries on earning from each sale after the initial sale of their creation.
**How do NFT Royalties work?**
Traditionally after the first sale, the creator does not have anyway to track the subsequent transactions of their work. Once they had sold that’s all their earning would be. Regardless of how their fame has increased over the years, they do not stand to gain anything from the work once they had sold.
**NFTs have brought in the opportunities to change this completely. Creators can have their fair share of the sales from their creations for perpetuity**.
NFT royalties are automatic payouts to the creator made on secondary sales. These are coded into the smart contract on the blockchain. The Rapids blockchain and its smart contracts work together to ensure that the creator is identified and the royalty payments are made immediately after the sale transaction is over. This removes any chance of the creator being cheated out of their royalties.

Une fois l'**extension installée**, une page s'ouvrira, je vous invite à la lire attentivement, ce sont des informations générique de MetaMask.
Cliquez sur '**Créer un Portefeuille**/**Creat Wallet**'.
Cliquez ensuite sur '**Je suis d'accord**/**I agree**'.
**Choisissez un Mot de Passe**. Petits conseils :
***Utilisez un Mot de passe complexe***
***N'y insérez pas vos prénoms/noms, ni date symbolique*** (naissance, mariage …)
***Utilisez des caractère spéciaux*** ($,£,µ ….) ***et des Majuscules***
**Notez ce mot de passe sur un feuille de papier**, ne le prenez pas en photo avec votre téléphone, ne vous l'envoyez pas par mail, ne l'imprimez pas (pensez avant tout à la sécurité).

**Comment ajouter Polygon Mainnet à MetaMask**
Le moyen le plus simple et le plus rapide est de passer par **ChainList**, malheureusement le 5 Mars de cette année, les développeurs ont annoncé *l'arrêt des services dès le 3 Avril 2022*. Mais je vous rassure il existe d'autres moyens d'ajouter Polygon à MetaMask. https://chainlist.org/

**La Réalité Virtuelle (VR) occupe de plus en plus de place dans nos vies**, dans notre quotidien, mais il est essentiel de bien savoir ce que c'est et comment cette technologie est née.
Beaucoup de gens confondent encore :

Mais concentrons nous sur la **Réalité Virtuelle** pour le moment.
Selon ***Jean Segura***, Journaliste français et Historien de la Réalité Virtuelle, voici sa définition :
"***La Réalité Virtuelle (VR) est l'ensemble des techniques et systèmes qui procurent à l'Homme le sentiment de pénétrer dans des univers synthétiques créés sur Ordinateur***.
***Avec la possibilité d'effectuer en temps réel un certain nombre d'actions définies par un ou plusieurs programmes informatiques***.
***A l'aide de techniques qui offrent la possibilité d'éprouver physiquement un certains nombre de sensations*** :

Je pense que cette définition résume bien ce qu'il en est de cette technologie.
Le **but de la réalité virtuelle est de tromper le cerveau de quelqu'un** en lui faisant croire que quelque chose est réel même si ce n'est pas le cas.
Remontons un peu dans le temps pour voir comment cette technologie à vue le jour.
*Je suis au regret de vous dire (message destinés aux gens de 30 ans et moins), il existait un monde bien avant internet ! Et ce monde est tout aussi fascinant que celui que nous avons vécu ces 30 dernières années, et que nous vivons actuellement*.
Bien que le **terme** "***Réalité Virtuelle***" **n'est apparu que tout récemment**, en **1989**. ***Platon*** avait écrit dans ses livres '***La République***' (entre 385 et 370 de notre ère) quelque chose qui ressemble étrangement à la VR :
***Des gens sont enchaînés au fond d'une caverne, tournés vers le fond de celle-ci. Tout ce qu'ils voient, ce sont les ombres projetées de ce qui se passe au dehors. On fait en sorte qu'ils croient ce qu'ils voient. Or, ce qu'ils voient sur ce mur n'est pas forcément réel.***
**1300 ans plus tard**, ***René Descartes*** écrit le "***Discours de la Méthode***", en **1637**, où il émet l'hypothèse que les témoignages des sens pourraient n'être qu'une série d'illusion et :
***Qu'il faut se méfier de ce que l'on accepte comme réalité.***
**Les Tableaux panoramiques** ont aussi joué un rôle important, ils permettaient aux gens de se trouver au cœur de scènes historiques peintes sur des tableaux circulaires d'environ 100m de long et près de 10m de haut. C'est en **1787** que ***Robert Barker*** **fait breveter son invention de peinture circulaire**, les premières Peintures Panoramiques faisaient 7 mètres de haut et couvraient des murs circulaires de 17 à 50 mètres de diamètre.
**150 ans plus tard**, ***Antonin Artaud*** publie en **1938** un recueil de conférences, articles et lettres dans son ouvrage "***Le Théâtre et son double***" dans lequel il nous montre que *****le Théâtre est aussi comme une seconde réalité***** (ce que l'on peut sous entendre par réalité virtuelle).
En **1838**, ***Charles Wheatstone*** a démontré que "l***e cerveau traite les différentes images bidimensionnelles de chaque œil en un seul en trois dimensions***". La visualisation de deux images ou photos stéréoscopiques côte à côte à travers d'un stéréoscope à permis à l'utilisateur une sensation de profondeur et d'immersion.
Revenons au temps présent, enfin, 60 ans en arrière ! Avec ***Morton Heilig*** **considéré comme un des pionniers de la VR** ! Au même titre que Jaron Lanier.
Il est l'inventeur du concept du **Média Multi-Sensoriel** (**1956**) et présenta un prototype fonctionnel (en 1962) de la '***Sensorama Machine***', une **cabine entièrement mécanique où un spectateur pouvait voir un film**, **en 3D** (parmi une sélections de 5 films) de 2 minutes en son et couleur, agrémentés d'autres sensations tels que :
***des vibrations***, avec sa chaise simulant des mouvements
***du vent***, à l'aide d'une soufflerie pour recréer les effets du vent
***des odeurs,*** un diffuseur de parfum avec un gamme de 10 arômes différents.
**1960**, 2 Ingénieurs de l'**entreprise Américain Philco** inventent le tout **premier casque Stéréoscopique**, **HMD**, le '***Headsight***', **conçu pour de la vidéosurveillance**, l'opérateur pouvait faire pivoter des caméras dans une pièce adjacente avec les mouvements de sa tête, et voir les images en temps réel dans son casque. Le Headsight n'est pas réellement un casque VR, car les images vues étaient réelles.
Dès **1965** ***Ivan Sutherland*** met au point et développe les premiers casques de ***visualisation interactifs capables de suivre les mouvements de la tête*** (**Head Mounted Display** - **HMD**) qui seront essentiellement destinés à l'entraînement des pilotes. Ils portaient le nom de '***Incredible Helmet***' ou encore '***Épée de Damoclès***', dévoilé en 1968, ce nom lui est donné car il était fixé au plafond, à cause de son poids, il était bien trop lourd à porter sur les épaules. *Les premiers simulateurs de vols sont quant à eux apparus en 1966*. Et les *Cockpits d'avions utilisant des environnements virtuels en 1977*.
En **1967** ***Frédérick Brooks et Henry Fuchs*** commencent les premiers travaux de recherche sur le **concept** '**Haptic Display**', **bras robotique à retour d'effort**. Ce qui permettra le développement de nouveaux équipements et techniques VR les 20 années suivantes.
Dans les années **1970**, ***Myron Krueger*** invente le **procédé de la** '***Réalité Artificielle / Artificial Reality***', un mode d'interaction directe, sans fil et en temps réel entre un homme et les images sur un écran.
En **1982** ***Thomas Furness*** présente le **premier prototype de casque VCASS** (***Visually Coupled Airborne System Simulator***) opérationnel, basé sur une interface homme-machine à l'aide d'écrans à tubes cathodiques (Le *Super Cockpit*). Ce casque était appelé '**Darth Vader**'. Cet appareil avait pour but de simplifier le pilotage d'avions de combat, en fournissant aux pilotes des informations cruciales et simplifiées, le casque suivait les mouvements de la tête et fonctionnaient aussi grâce à des commandes vocales.
**Entre 1982 et 1986** ***Jaron Lanier et Thomas Zimmerman*** créent le '**DataGlove**' (Gant de Données) articulé, muni de tubes en plastique laissant passer plus ou moins de lumière en fonction de l'angle de flexion de doigts, remplacé plus tard par de la fibre optique, permettant de reconnaître 256 positions pour chaque doigts. **Suivi du développement de la DataSuit**.
A l'époque **VPL** (Laboratoire créé par J. Lanier) à été la première entreprise à vendre des lunettes de réalité virtuelle :

2 ans plus tard, ils travaillent sur **l'idée d'associer leur DataGlove au Casque de Visualisation Stéréoscopique** (HMD) aussi appelé **Virtual Visual Environment Display** (***VIVED***) de Michael McGreevy et James Humphries.
McGreevy a aussi dirigé le programme Virtual Workstation de la NASA dès 1984. En 1985 la NASA dévoile VIEW (Virtual Interface EnvironmentWorkstation), un Casque de Réalité Virtuelle Stéréoscopique, combiné avec un système de reconnaissance vocale et complété avec des DataGloves.
Au **Siggraph de Boston en Août 1989**, ***Jaron Lanier*** **introduit pour la première fois le terme** '***Virtual Reality***'.
Les années suivantes ont servi à développer toutes ces technologies, ainsi que la **conception et le développement de différents mondes en 3D**.
Dès les années **90** ***Jonathan Waldern*** (qui fonda la compagnie **W Industries** - devenu Virtuality) s'est mis à **fabriquer des Station VR** qui seront destinés ensuite à l'industrie des jeux vidéo.
Premier grand tournant, en **2012**, ***Palmer Luckey*** à peine âgé de 20 ans, **lance une campagne de financement participatif sur le site Kickstarter** pour récolter des fonds **afin de développer son projet d'Oculus VR**, en 24h les 250 000$ demandés sont récoltés, lors de la clôture du financement participatif, le projet avait récolté près de 2 500 000$ grâce à 9522 contributeurs.
En **2013**, suite à l'enthousiasme de l'Oculus VR, des Ingénieurs de ***Virtuix Omni*** annoncent que ce Casque VR résout une partie des défis posés par le Réalité Virtuelle, l'utilisateur peut évoluer dans un univers artificiel, mais ne peut pas s'y déplacer naturellement. Ils **lancent la même année une campagne de financement participatif** sur Kickstarter **pour leur projet de tapis roulant Omnidirectionnel**, permettant à l'utilisateur de marcher librement et naturellement dans son univers virtuel, sans se blesser ou heurter du mobilier ou des murs. Le campagne Kickstarter est un gros succès, sur les 150 000$ demandés, ils en ont récolté plus d'1 Million $.
En 2014 s'est produit une véritable révolution dans l'évolution et la démocratisation des casques VR (cette même année Facebook rachète Oculus VR pour 2 Milliards $, l'Oculus Rift n'était encore qu'à l'état de prototype, il sera enfin commercialisé en 2016).
**Aujourd'hui**, **les domaines d'application de la Réalité Virtuelle s'étendent bien au-delà du monde des jeux vidéos** (qui peinent à se développer dans ce secteur, trop peu de jeux, équipement nécessaire encore trop cher …)
*L'un des tout premier Casque VR et des plus ambitieux fut le SEGA VR*, présenté CES de Las Vegas de 1993, et annoncé au prix abordable de 200$. Malheureusement le ***projet est abandonné en cours de route***, il faudra attendre encore 20 ans pour pouvoir acheter des casques VR à destination du grand public.
*Autre méga flop*, en *1995 Nintendo lançait le 'Virtual Boy'*, console sous la forme d'un Casque VR, mais trop lourd a porter sur les épaules, il est posé sur un pied, ce qui empêche tout suivi de mouvements, *les images ne sont qu'en noir et rouge et la résolutions des écrans est très insuffisante*. Seulement 770 000 unités seront vendues dans le monde, le pire score de Nintendo.

**Virtual Reality (VR) is becoming more and more important in our lives**, in our daily lives, but it is essential to know what it is and how this technology was born.

I think this definition sums up what this technology is all about.
The **purpose of Virtual Reality is to trick someone's brain** into believing that something is real even though it isn't.
Let's go back in time to see how this technology was born.
*I'm sorry to say (message for people 30 years old and younger), there was a world long before the internet! And that world is just as fascinating as the one we've been living in for the last 30 years, and that we are living in now.*
Although the **term** "***Virtual Reality***" **appeared only recently**, in **1989**. ***Plato*** had written in his books '***The Republic***' (between 385 and 370 of our era) something that is strangely similar to VR:
***People are chained at the bottom of a cave, facing the bottom of it. All they see are the projected shadows of what is happening outside. They are made to believe what they see. But what they see on this wall is not necessarily real***.
**1300 years later**, ***René Descartes*** wrote the "***Discours de la Méthode***", in **1637**, where he put forward the hypothesis that the testimonies of the senses could be only a series of illusion and :

**Panoramic paintings** also played an important role, they allowed people to be in the middle of historical scenes painted on circular paintings of about 100m long and almost 10m high. In **1838**, ***Charles Wheatstone*** demonstrated that "***the brain processes the different two-dimensional images of each eye into one three-dimensional image***". The visualization of two stereoscopic images or photos side by side through a stereoscope allows the user a sensation of depth and immersion.
Let's go back to the present time, well, 60 years back! With ***Morton Heilig*** **considered as one of the pioneers of VR**! In the same way as Jaron Lanier.
He is the inventor of the **Multi-Sensory Media concept** (**1956**) and presented a functional prototype (in 1962) of the '***Sensorama Machine***', a fully **mechanical cabin where a spectator could see a 2-minute 3D film** (from a selection of 5 films) in sound and color, enhanced with other sensations such as :
***vibrations***, with his chair simulating movements
***wind***, with the help of a wind tunnel to recreate the effects of the wind
***smells***, a perfume diffuser with a range of 10 different aromas.
**1960**, 2 Engineers of the **American company Philco** invented the very first **stereoscopic headset**, **HMD**, the '***Headsight***', designed **for video surveillance**, the operator could rotate cameras in an adjacent room with the movements of his head, and see the images in real time in his headset. The Headsight is not really a VR helmet, because the images seen were real.
In **1965** ***Ivan Sutherland*** developed the first interactive **Head-Mounted Display** (**HMD**), which was **mainly used for pilot training**. They were called '***Incredible Helmet***' or '***Sword of Damocles***', unveiled in 1968, this name is given because it was fixed to the ceiling, because of its weight, it was too heavy to carry on the shoulders. *The first flight simulators appeared in 1966*. And *aircraft cockpits using virtual environments in 1977*.
In **1967**, ***Frederick Brooks and Henry Fuchs*** began the first research work on the '**Haptic Display**' **concept**, a ***robotic arm with force return***. This will lead to the development of new VR equipment and techniques over the next 20 years.
In the **1970s**, ***Myron Krueger*** invented the '**Artificial Reality**' **process**, a direct, wireless and real-time interaction mode between a human and images on a screen.
In **1982** ***Thomas Furness*** presented the **first operational prototype of a VCASS** (***Visually Coupled Airborne System Simulator***) **helmet**, based on a man-machine interface using cathode ray tube screens (The *Super Cockpit*). This helmet was called '**Darth Vader**'. This device was intended to simplify the piloting of combat aircraft, by providing pilots with crucial and simplified information, the helmet followed the movements of the head and also worked thanks to voice commands.
**Between 1982 and 1986** ***Jaron Lanier and Thomas Zimmerman*** created the articulated '**DataGlove**', equipped with plastic tubes that let more or less light pass through depending on the angle of flexion of the fingers, later replaced by fiber optics, allowing 256 positions to be recognized for each finger. Followed by the **development of the DataSuit**.
At the time **VPL** (Laboratory created by J. Lanier) was the first company to sell virtual reality glasses:

2 years later, they are working on **the idea of associating their DataGlove with the Stereoscopic Visualization Headset** (HMD) also called **Virtual Visual Environment Display** (***VIVED***) of Michael McGreevy and James Humphries.
Mr. McGreevy also directed NASA's Virtual Workstation program from 1984. In 1985 NASA unveiled VIEW (Virtual Interface Environment Workstation), a Stereoscopic Virtual Reality Headset, combined with a speech recognition system and supplemented with DataGloves.
At the **Siggraph in Boston in August 1989**, ***Jaron Lanier*** **introduced the term** '***Virtual Reality***' **for the first time**.
The following years were used to develop all these technologies, as well as **the design and development of various 3D worlds**.
In the **90's** ***Jonathan Waldern*** (who founded the company **W Industries** - now Virtuality) started to **manufacture VR stations** that will then be used in the video game industry.
The first major turning point came in **2012** when ***Palmer Luckey***, barely 20 years old, launched a **crowdfunding campaign on the Kickstarter** site to raise funds **to develop his Oculus VR project**. In 24 hours, the $250,000 requested was raised, and by the time the crowdfunding campaign closed, the project had raised nearly $2,500,000 thanks to 9,522 contributors.
In **2013**, following the enthusiasm of the Oculus VR, engineers from ***Virtuix Omni*** announced that this VR Headset solves some of the challenges posed by Virtual Reality, the user can move in an artificial universe, but can not move naturally. The same year, they **launched a crowdfunding campaign** on KickStarter **for their Omnidirectional Treadmill project**, allowing the user to walk freely and naturally in his virtual universe, without hurting himself or hitting furniture or walls. The Kickstarter campaign was a big success, out of the $150,000 requested, they raised over $1 Million.
In 2014 occurred a real revolution in the evolution and democratization of VR headsets (that same year Facebook bought Oculus VR for $2 Billion, the Oculus Rift was still only in the prototype stage, it will finally be marketed in 2016).
**Today**, **the fields of application of Virtual Reality extend far beyond the world of video games** (which are struggling to develop in this sector, too few games, equipment required still too expensive ...)
*One of the very first and most ambitious VR headsets was the SEGA VR*, presented at the 1993 Las Vegas CES, and announced at the affordable price of $200. Unfortunately, *the project was abandoned along the way*, and we had to wait another 20 years to be able to buy VR headsets for the general public.
*Another mega flop*, in *1995 Nintendu launched the* '*Virtual Boy*', a console in the form of a VR Headset, but too heavy to carry on the shoulders, it is placed on a foot, which prevents any tracking of movements, the *images are only in black and red and the resolution of the screens is very insufficient*. Only 770 000 units will be sold in the world, the worst score of Nintendo.

Que sont les DAO ?
**DAO** est l'acronyme de ***Decentralized Autonomous Organization***, pour ***Organisation Autonome Décentralisée***.
Une **DAO est un Smart Contract**, ou **un ensemble de Smart Contracts** (programmes informatisés, autonomes, inviolables) qui évoluent sur une Blockchain.
Pour illustrer cela simplement, il faut voir comment fonctionne une Société dites 'à actions' qui est centralisée, car oui les DAO sont calqués sur le même principe, mais apportent de grands changements qui sont bien plus intéressants, dont la décentralisation.
**Comment fonctionne un Entreprise 'à Actions' ?**
Prenons le cas d'une Entreprise quelconque, en se basant sur des informations génériques.
Dans ce genre d'Entreprise, tout est basé sur une **Organisation Verticale**, cela veut dire :
***Un PDG***
***Un Conseil d'Administration***
***Des Actionnaires*** (qui gagnent des dividendes en fonctions des bénéfices de l'entreprise)
**Le Conseil d'Administration est essentiellement composé d'actionnaires**, **qui disposent d'une grosse quantité d'Actions**, ce qui est normal vous allez me dire. Plus une personne investit dans une Société, plus elle possède d'Actions, et il est donc compréhensible que cette personne puisse avoir un pouvoir décisionnaire sur les décisions à prendre.
Donc concrètement :
***Il faut posséder un nombre relativement important d'actions pour pouvoir donner son avis***
***Il faut aussi posséder un nombre relativement important de ces mêmes actions pour soumettre une idée***
***Donc, seul le conseil d'administration peut soumettre des idées, et soumettre au vote ces idées.***
Selon le type d'Entreprise, un petit nombre de personnes, voir une personne unique, peut exiger des changements, ou alors soumettre un vote.
**Une fois le vote autorisé**, **il est soumis aux actionnaires** (disposant d'un droit de vote suffisant), **le résultat de ce vote est comptabilisé en interne et doit être traité manuellement**.
Étant donné que sa gestion est centralisée, il plane de grands secrets sur les comptes et finances de l'entreprise, seuls quelques rares privilégiés (membres du Conseil d'Administration) ont accès à ces informations. Ce qui peut dans de rares cas, à la manipulation des chiffres.
Il règne encore beaucoup trop d'opacité sur ce genre de sociétés.
**En quoi les DAO diffèrent de ces entreprises ?**
**Une entreprise 'à Actions' est centralisée. Une DAO est par nature décentralisée.**
Primo, c'est une **Organisation Horizontale** :
***Aucune hiérarchie***, ***pas de PDG***, ***pas de patrons*** … (aucune personne ou organisation ne peut contrôler l'entité).
***La DAO s'appuie sur un système de Gouvernance Distribuée***. L'exercice du pouvoir au sein de l'Organisation est collectif.
***La DAO n'appartient pas à une ou quelques personnes***, ***mais à l'ensemble des personnes ayant participé à la création/financement de celle-ci***.
***Etant donnée que la DAO est décentralisée***, ***elle peut fonctionner dans un cadre Supranational***.
Secundo :
***Toute personne ayant investi dans la DAO***, ***détient un nombre de Tokens au prorata de son investissement*** (ce qui est normal vous allez me dire). Les Tokens, au même titre que les Actions, permettent de gagner des dividendes en fonction des revenus de la DAO.
***N'importe quel détenteur de Tokens dispose d'un pouvoir de vote***, que ce soit 1 Token ou 1 000 000 de Tokens, tout le monde à le droit de voter.
Ce qui est similaire à une Entreprise classique, c'est que plus une personne possède de Tokens, plus son vote a du poids (ce qui est encore une fois normal).

Mais ce que je sais, c'est que **les DAO offrent beaucoup plus de poids aux** 'Actionnaires' appelés '**Détenteurs de Tokens/Tokens Holders**', en leur offrant un pouvoir décisionnaire (au prorata des Tokens détenus)
**Les DAO sont décentralisées**, ouverts à tous et **évoluent dans un cadre Supranational**, alors que les entreprises dites 'à actions' sont limitées à une juridiction, limités à des contraintes juridiques, et limitent le pouvoir des investisseurs, seuls les plus gros investisseurs ont un pouvoir/droit de vote.
Une entreprise est détenue par une personne, un groupe de personnes ou éventuellement un Etat, alors qu'**une DAO appartient à tous les membres qui participent à son financement**.
**Les DAO démocratisent le pouvoir décisionnaire**, alors que les entreprises disposent d'un Conseil d'Administrations dont un petit nombre de membres (les élus) décident de l'avenir et des projets/propositions à adopter.
**Les DAO**, **fonctionnent par le biais de Smart Contrats**, peuvent exister et **évoluer dans un monde** "***Trustlessness***", un environnement où la confiance n'est plus nécessaire, car **créée par la Blockchain**. Il en est de même pour les **Smart Contracts**, ils **ont été codés pour définir les règles de l'organisation et détiennent la trésorerie de celle-ci**, de telle sorte qu'il est impossible à quiconque de toucher à cet argent, sans avoir au préalable soumis la proposition à un vote de la communauté.
Et soyons réaliste, si nous éliminons les interventions de tierces parties, dans le cadre du monde réelle de la centralisation,

Ten months ago, on 31 May 2021, **Rapids Network** introduced a ***Bridge allowing you to convert your Rapids (RPD) to Wrapped Rapids (bRPD)*** and vice versa at a ratio of 1:1. Back then to use it you needed to have at least 1000 RPD in your Wallet. https://rapidsnetwork.io/

Bonjour à tous, récemment j'ai eu une **conversation très passionnante et instructive avec le créateur de** **Floyx**, au sujet de ***Floyx et du Web3***. https://www.floyx.com/
Ce petit mot "**Web3**" dont tout le monde parle, sans vraiment comprendre de quoi il s'agit réellement. **Nouvelle évolution du Web?** **Nouvelles fonctionnalités ?** **Nouvelles Technologies ?** … Le débat est ouvert, ce qui est sure c'est qu'*il n'existe encore officiellement aucune définition établi de ce qu'est le* "*Web3*" (Lors de la rédaction de cet article j'ai été voir sur Twitter, j'ai écrit "#Web3" pour voir combien de fois il a été mentionné au cours de la dernière heure. Résultat ? 2190 fois mentionnés dans des Tweet !!)
**Les points abordés** avec le créateur de **Floyx** lors de nos échanges, **se concentraient surtout sur les Réseaux Sociaux**, du **Web3**, et bien entendu "***The new world's social media based on web3 and blockchain technology***"
J'avais beaucoup d'interrogation à lui soumettre, beaucoup d'inquiétude sur ce futur des Réseaux/Médias Sociaux qui sont :
***Comment lutter contre le spam, ou l'avalanche de messages de haines et d'insulte***
***Comment éviter la création de compte multiple***
***Comment cibler ce qui nous intéresse vraiment***
**Les réponses et explications du fondateur de Floyx ont étaient bien plus loin de ce à quoi je m'attendais.**
Nous le savons tous (ou pour ceux qui ne le savent pas) **le Web3 est orienté vers la Décentralisation !** A l'inverse de notre Web 2.0 où les grandes entreprises qui gèrent les Médias/Réseaux Sociaux que nous utilisons au quotidien stockent toutes les données sur leur serveurs privés.
***Qui dit Réseaux Privés***, dit aussi que ***ces entreprises s'autorisent le droit de monétiser vos données privées et personnelles***, et quel en est le résultat ? Ils les vendent à qui veut bien y mettre le prix, et cela nous mène à quoi ? Nous sommes harcelés par téléphone, par mail, etc .. par toutes sortes de choses qui ne nous intéressent pas, et le pire dans tout cela c'est qu'il y a de grandes chances que ce soient des arnaques !
**Ce que le Web3 apportera c'est que l'UTILISATEUR disposera pleinement de ses données personnelles**, **et pourra décider LUI-MÊME de ce qu'il veut rendre publique et de ce fait**, **monétiser ses données, donc**, **seul l'UTILISATEUR bénéficiera de la manne financière**, et Floyx quand à lui, ne touchera rien sur cette argent.
Vous pensez que cela est une utopie ? Et bien détrompez vous. Ne seriez vous pas plus intéressé de gagner de l'argent sur vos informations personnelles (que vous souhaitez rendre publique) au lieu que ce soit les Géants du NET qui le fassent à votre place et sans votre consentement ?
Autre sujet d'interrogation. Nous le voyons tous, tous les jours. **Énormément d'utilisateurs postent publiquement l'intégralité de leur vie privée** : "Bonjour, je viens de me lever, il fait grand soleil", "Il est xxH, je vais au travail", "Je viens d'aller aux toilettes, je me sens mieux", etc …
**Le Web3 apportera une solution pour ce types d'utilisateurs**, ils auront la possibilité de créer une communauté dont les membres seront intéressés par ce genre de Posts, alors que d'autres communautés s'y désintéressent totalement de telle sorte que ces 'posts' n'apparaissent pas aux yeux des gens qui ne s'y intéressent pas.
Un autre point nécessite un intérêt particulier. **Beaucoup de gens vomissent aussi leur haine sur les Réseaux/Médias Sociaux**, ou alors se permettent d'insulter n'importe qui, s'autorisent le droit de critiquer avec véhémence des personnalités ou pouvoirs en place, sous prétexte qu'ils sont cachés derrière leur écrans, donc (pseudo) protégés. Et que si ils sont bannis de ces sites, ils ne sont nullement inquiétés car ils pourront créer un nouveau compte, tout simplement avec une nouvelle adresse mail, et ainsi continuer à polluer ces espaces d'échanges.
**Quelle est la réponse du Web3 face à cela ?**
Dans le cas de Floyx, cela sera simple :
***Compte décentralisé = Connection Web3 soit 1 seul et unique compte***
***Qui dit 1 Compte dit aussi, 1 seul compte possible pour 1 Utilisateur défini***
***Et ainsi 1 Compte = 1 Wallet vérifié***
Donc pourquoi créer plusieurs comptes ? Alors que **1 seul et unique compte suffira**, car du moment où nous faisons partie d'une communauté, il n'y aura pas d'interaction directe avec les autres communautés où nous serons membres.
*Prenons cet exemple* (peut-être un peu trop stéréotypés, mais vous le comprendrez), *vous êtes une personne importante dans un entreprise, peut être même le directeur, ou tout simplement un employé, vous partagez des intérêt reliés à votre entreprise, donc vous faites la part des choses, vous savez dissocier votre vie privée de votre vie publique. Allons un peu plus loin (je tiens a le répéter, je n'écrit pas cela pour fâcher qui que ce soit, mais plutôt pour vous apporter une informations pertinente), vous êtes un Homme ou une Femme, et vous ne vous revendiquez pas Binaire (dans votre vie affective), donc sur les Médias/Réseaux Sociaux vous allez créer un second compte pour pouvoir vivre votre vie privée sur le net avec des gens qui partagent les mêmes intérêts que vous, des personnes qui vous ressemblent, car vous craignez que votre entourage professionnel découvre votre petit secret, et que cela puisse avoir un impact négatif sur vos relations professionnels. Alors que dans les Médias/Réseaux Sociaux Web3, il n'y aura aucune interactions possible entre diverses communautés, vous pourrez participer à plusieurs communautés, aussi différentes soient elles, sans que pour autant il n'y ait de connections entre celles-ci. Donc tout comme ce que vous faites dans la vie Publique, en séparant vie professionnelle et vie privée, vous pourrez le faire sans crainte grâce au Web3*.
En ce qui concerne les membres qui seront trop critiques, ou qui ne suscitent que la haine publique sous couvert de pseudo anonymat, la réponse de Floyx est celle-ci :
***La communauté est censée être la source de la 'vérification du contenu' et de qualité***.
**A l'inverse des Géants du Net, qui dictent ce qui est la vérité ou non**, **ce qui est autorisé ou non** (suivant leur charte d'utilisation, que chaque utilisateur est censé avoir lu et accepté)
**Alors que sur un Média Web 2.0**, **la sanction sera le bannissement du site**, **les Médias du Web3 se baseront sur une** '***Réputation***', car je vous le rappelle, qui dit **décentralisation**, dis aussi *impossible de supprimer un Profil utilisateur*, car ils ne sera pas hébergé sur les Serveurs de Floyx, mais sur une Blockchain publique. Au même titre que Floyx ne pourra pas censurer le contenu posté.
**Comment fonctionnera la 'Réputation' ?**
**Plus vous créerez ou posterez un contenu pertinent pour la Communauté**, **un contenu qui apportera quelque chose d'utile**, **de nouvelles connaissances**, etc .. **Plus l'interaction avec cette communauté sera favorable à tout le monde**, et de facto vous créerez un intérêt de la part des ses membres, **vous gagnerez en réputation**, **ainsi que la possibilité de monétiser votre contenu**.
Comme l'as si bien dit le fondateur de Floyx :
***La base de toutes conversations est l'écoute d'arguments objectifs, la vérification et la conversation avertie***
A l'inverse, une personne qui postent des choses qui n'intéressent pas la communauté dont il fait partie, ou si il tient des propos de violentes critiques, ou même si il est injurieux, la communauté aura la possibilité de faire baisser sa réputation, avec les conséquences que cela aura. (Il en vas de même pour les cas les plus extrêmes, tels que les membres/sujets relatifs aux armes, drogues, voir plus graves)
Il y aura **3 Niveaux de Réputations** (ainsi que ***3 niveaux de monétisations différents de votre contenu***)
***Contributeur***
***Neutral***
***Troll***
Il vas de soit que l**e profil qui sera considéré comme Troll verra ses interaction et fonctionnalités bridés**, et je vous le rappel encore une fois, cela ne sera pas défini par Floyx, mais **par une décision commune de la communauté**
Nous savons tous que tout n'est pas toujours tout beau ni tout rose dans la vie, nous avons tous des passages à vides, des petits coupe de déprimes ou d'envies de coup de gueule, mais **il faudra bien réfléchir avant de poster**, **car dès que cela est en ligne**, **il sera impossible de le supprimer**, même pas par l'auteur, **car inscrit sur la Blockchain**.
*Si un utilisateur ou bientôt a le statut de 'Troll', il aura tout de même la possibilité de revenir à un statut 'Neutral'*, mais cela nécessitera beaucoup de travail et d'efforts de sa part pour améliorer son statut. Et dans le cas contraire, il sera invisible dans le système, sans pour autant pouvoir supprimer son compte et recommencer. Et à l'inverse, si un 'Troll' ne fait pas d'effort pour améliorer sa situation, il sera à terme invisible au sein du système, sans pour autant être supprimé.
**Conclusion**
**Les Médias/Réseaux sociaux Web3 ne seront pas à prendre à la légère**.
Dans la vraie vie, si vous dites "Vas te faire foutre" à une personne, vous devez en assumer les conséquences, qui peuvent aller jusqu'au Tribunal avec la sanction qui en découle. Le Web3 fonctionnera sur le même principe :
***Toutes actions, bonnes ou mauvaises, implique des conséquences (bénéfiques ou néfastes), et l'utilisateur devra assumer ses paroles et ses actes***.
Internet n'est pas censé être un lieu de haine, mais bien au contraire, nous devrions tous nous épanouir, nous pouvons tous apprendre et grandir ensemble. ***L'humain est passionnant***, ***nous avons tous des expériences de vies différentes à partager***, ***des connaissances à apporter***, ***des points de vue à développer***. Nous pouvons tous le faire dans le respect d'autrui. Alors pourquoi provoquer la haine, alors que l'entraide et l'entente ne peuvent que ne faire avancer.
Pensez-vous que cela est une utopie? Avez-vous rêvé de ce monde qui sera profitable au plus grand nombre et à tous les niveaux (connaissances, partages, monétaire) ? Et bien ne rêvez pas, **Floyx travail sur ce nouveau monde depuis plusieurs années**, **pour vous offrir le meilleur de que ce que le Web peut apporter**

What are DAO?
**DAO** means ***Decentralized Autonomous Organization***.
A **DAO is a Smart Contract**, or **a set of Smart Contracts** (computerized, autonomous, tamper-proof programmes) that evolve on a Blockchain.
To illustrate this simply, we need to look at how a so-called 'Stock' Company works which is centralized, because yes DAO are modeled on the same principle, but make some big changes which are much more interesting, including decentralization.
**How does a 'Stock Company' work?**
Let's take the case of any Enterprise, based on generic information.
In this kind of Company, everything is based on a **Vertical Organization**, which means :
***A CEO***
***A Board of Directors***
***Shareholders*** (who earn dividends based on the company's profits)
The **Board of Directors is mainly composed of shareholders**, **who have a large amount of Shares**, which is normal you will say. The more a person invests in a company, the more shares he or she owns, and it is therefore understandable that this person should have a say in the decisions to be taken.
So concretely :
***You need to own a relatively large number of shares to be able to give your opinion***
***You also need a relatively large number of shares to submit an idea***
***Therefore, only the Board of Directors can submit ideas, and vote on them.***
Depending on the type of company, a small number of people, or even a single person, may demand changes, or submit a vote.
**Once the vote is authorized**, **it is submitted to the shareholders** (with sufficient voting rights), **the result of which is recorded internally and must be processed manually**.
Since it is centrally managed, it keeps the company's accounts and finances very secret, with only a few privileged people (board members) having access to this information. This can in rare cases lead to the manipulation of figures.
There is still far too much opacity about these kinds of companies.
**How do DAO differ from these companies?**
**A 'Stock' Company is centralized. A DAO is by nature decentralized**.
Firstly, it is a **Horizontal Organization**:
***No hierarchy***, ***no CEO***, ***no bosses*** ... (no one person or organization can control the entity).
***The DAO is based on a Distributed Governance system***. The exercise of power within the Organization is collective.
***The DAO is not owned by one or a few people***, ***but by all the people who have participated in its creation/funding***.
***Because the DAO is decentralized***, ***it can operate in a Supranational framework***.
Secondly:
***Each person who has invested in the DAO holds a number of Tokens*** in proportion to his investment (which is normal, you might say). Tokens, just like Shares, allow to earn dividends according to the revenues of the DAO.

What is similar to a classic Enterprise is that the more Tokens a person has, the more weight their vote has (which is again normal).

Could we say that DAO are the future of business? Or maybe DAO are even company 2.0? I don't know.
But what I do know is that **DAO offer much more weight to the** 'Shareholders' called '**Token Holders**', by offering them a decision-making power (in proportion to the Tokens held)
**DAO are decentralized**, open to all and **evolve in a Supranational framework**, whereas so-called 'stock companies' are limited to a jurisdiction, restricted by legal constraints, and limit the power of investors, only the largest investors have power/voting rights.
A company is owned by an individual, a group of individuals or possibly a State, whereas a **DAO is owned by all members who participate in its financing**.
**DAO democratizes decision-making power**, whereas companies have a Board of Directors with a small number of members (the elected) deciding on the future and the projects/proposals to be adopted.
**DAO**, **operating through Smart Contracts**, can exist and **evolve in a world of** "***Trustlessness***", an environment where trust is no longer necessary, as **created by the Blockchain**. It is the same for **Smart Contracts**, they **have been coded to define the rules of the organization and hold its treasury** in such a way that it is impossible for anyone to touch that money without first submitting the proposal to a community vote.
And realistically, if we eliminate third party intervention, in the real world of centralisation
*we have to bring in experts,*
*we have to manually request the release of funds,*
*the time needed to draw up a report,*
*and the delays/fees for the execution of the transfer orders by the bank*

Depuis quelques mois maintenant, si ce n'est quelques années, **nous voyons apparaître beaucoup de nouveau mots dans le langage de la** "***Crypto Sphère***"
Un de ces mots qui nous intéresse particulièrement est celui-ci : "**Web3**"
**A quoi ce mot fait référence ? Si nous parlons de 'Web3' cela veut dire qu'il existe aussi un 'Web2' et un 'Web1' ?**
Avant de commencer, il est nécessaire de **bien maîtriser la façon dont sont écrites ces itérations du Web**. Car oui, nous utilisons aussi le mot 'Itération', dans l'exemple "***La troisième itération du Web***".

***Web3*** (pourquoi pas Web 3.0 ? je ne saurais pas vous le dire)
Pour bien comprendre ce que sont ces **3 itérations du Web** dont nous parlons, il est essentiels de **faire avant tout la différence entre** "***Internet***" et "***Web***"
Bien souvent nous utilisons ces 2 mots, sans vraiment en comprendre la différence, ou alors utiliser le premier pour remplacer l'autre, et inversement.
Nous ne le savons pas forcément, mais **le concept d'Internet est relativement ancien**. Dès le **début des années 1960** l'**idée d'un Réseau Informatique** qui permettrait aux utilisateurs de différents ordinateurs de communiquer, voit le jour.
Les années suivantes, la communauté scientifique, et surtout des scientifiques Américains, Britanniques et Français **se sont penchés sur le développement de l'application pratique de cette technologie**.
Initialement appelé "**Réseau des Réseaux**" il porte aujourd'hui le nom d'"***Internet***".
**En 1991**, soit 30 ans après l'idée de travailler sur un réseau global d'ordinateurs, le Scientifique britannique **Tim Berners-Lee annonce publiquement la création du** "***World Wide Web***" plus communément connu sous le mot "***WWW***" et que nous utilisons encore aujourd'hui. Nous comptions à l'époque, 1 000 000 d'ordinateurs interconnectés.
**Concrètement, quelles sont les différences entre Internet et Web ?**
**Internet**
**Internet désigne un réseau mondial d'ordinateurs**, **permettant l'échange de paquets de données**. Ce "***réseau de réseaux***" est composé de millions de réseaux aussi bien publics que privés (universitaires, commerciaux, gouvernementaux, etc …) sans services centralisés.
***Quand vous faites une recherche sur une page Web, vous allez (essentiellement) sur un navigateur de recherche, vous tapez votre recherche, une liste de résultats apparaît, et vous cliquez sur celui qui vous intéresse. Le chemin pour accéder au SIte Web choisi n'est pas direct, vous passerez par différents réseaux (ordinateurs) pour atteindre votre destination. Si un de ces réseaux est en panne, votre ordinateur cherchera une nouvelle voie pour accéder à la page Web***.
De façon plus imagée : *Vous êtes en pleine ville, vous avez un courrier vous demandant de vous diriger à une adresse précise. Muni de votre plan de la ville, vous cherchez l'itinéraire le plus rapide, ou le plus simple pour atteindre votre destination. Sur un des chemin choisi il y a un accident, donc impossible de passer, vous prenez donc un chemin alternatif pour rejoindre le lieu indiqué. Il en est de même si toutes les voies d'accès sont bloquées, il faudra réessayer plus tard*.
Donc nous pouvons dire que l'**Internet est le 'Chemin'** qui vous permet d'arriver a '**Destination**', lieu que nous pouvons **définir comme le Web**
**Web**
**Le Web comprend toutes les pages de contenu**. ***Les Sites Web***. Tous ces sites sont **uniquement accessibles sur le réseau Internet**.
Revenons aux **3 itérations du Web**.
**Web 1.0 :**
Les tout **débuts du Web**, bien que le nom 'Web 1.0' soit arrivé tardivement (en 1999), depuis le **début des années 1990 nous avons vu apparaître sur Internet les tous premiers Site Web**.
**Ils étaient à l'époque statiques**, et **reliés entre eux par des liens Hypertextes**. Ces **sites Web étaient créés par des professionnels du Web** et **à destination des particuliers**.
Quand nous parlons de sites **Web statiques**, cela veut dire qu'ils n'étaient consultables qu'**en lecture seule**. ***Le lecteur ne pouvait pas interagir avec le contenu, ne pouvait pas apporter de modifications à celui-ci, et ne pouvait pas non plus le commenter. Tout comme la publication de contenu ou la création de sites Web était réservée à des professionnels du Web***.
Pour les plus jeunes d'entre nous, il est inconcevables que de tels sites aient pu exister, et pour les moins jeunes, nous nous rappelons encore de ces sites Web souvent 'en construction', dont les interfaces étaient relativement sobres.

Dont nous pouvons dater son apparition à la **fin des années 1990**. Dès le milieu des années 2000, la quasi-totalité des sites Web ont fait la transition vers un Internet plus interactif.
**Les utilisateurs pouvaient commencer à interagir avec les sites Web**. Ce qui à permis la ***transition d'un Web Statique à un Web beaucoup plus Dynamique***.
Ce **Web 2.0 est plus communément appelé** '***Web Social***' car c'est à cette période que se sont créés et popularisés les **Blogs**, les **Réseaux sociaux**, les **sites collaboratifs**, les **sites de partage de Photos**, **Vidéos** …
Il est enfin devenu possible de créer, éditer, publier un contenue sur internet et commenter les contenus déjà postés :

Depuis quelques années maintenant, le mot '**Web3**' à fait son apparition. D'après certaines, ce serait **la prochaine grande évolution du Web**. Ce mot est pour la première fois utilisé dans un **Blog en Janvier 2006** par **J. Zeldman**, ensuite dans un article du **New York Times en Novembre 2006** par **J. Hello everyone, recently I had a very **exciting and informative conversation with the creator of** **Floyx**, about ***Floyx and Web3***. https://www.floyx.com/
That little word "**Web3**" that everyone is talking about, without really understanding what it is. **New evolution of the Web?** **New functionalities?** **New Technologies ?** ... The debate is open, what is sure is that *there is still no official definition of what is the "Web3"* (When writing this article I went to Twitter, I wrote "#Web3" to see how many times it was mentioned in the last hour. Result? 2190 times mentioned in tweets!)
The **points discussed** with the creator of **Floyx** during our exchanges, **focusing mostly on Social Networks**, **Web3**, and of course "***The new world's social media based on web3 and blockchain technology***" https://www.floyx.com/
I had a lot of questions to ask him, a lot of concerns about the future of Social Networks/Media which are :
***How to fight against spam, or the avalanche of hate and insult messages***
***How to avoid multiple account creation***
***How to target what really interests us***

As we all know (or for those who don't) **Web3 is all about Decentralization!** Unlike our Web 2.0 where the big companies that manage the Media/Social Networks we use on a daily basis store all the data on their Private Servers.
***Private Networks*** also mean that ***these companies allow themselves the right to monetise your private and personal data***, and what is the result? They sell it to whoever wants to pay for it, and what does that get us? We are harassed by phone, email, etc. by all sorts of things we are not interested in, and the worst thing about it is that there is a good chance that they are scams!
**What Web3 will bring is that the USER will have full control of his personal data**, **and will be able to decide HIMSELF what he wants to make public and thus monetize his data**, so **only the USER will benefit from the financial windfall**, and **Floyx** will get nothing on this money. https://www.floyx.com/
You think this is a utopia? Well, think again. Wouldn't you be more interested in earning money on your personal information (that you want to make public) instead of having the Internet Giants do it for you and without your consent?
Another question. We all see it, every day. ***Many users post their entire private lives publicly***: "Good morning, I just got up, it's a sunny day", "It's xxH, I'm going to work", "I just went to the bathroom, I feel better", etc ...
**Web3 will provide a solution for these types of users**, they will have the possibility to create a community whose members will be interested in this kind of Posts, while other communities are totally disinterested in it so that these 'posts' don't appear in the eyes of people who are not interested in them.
Another point needs special attention. **Many people also spew their hatred on Social Networks/Media**, or else allow themselves to insult anyone, to allow themselves the right to vehemently criticize personalities or governments in place, under the pretext that they are hidden behind their screens, thus (pseudo) protected. And if they are banned from these sites, they are not worried at all because they can create a new account, simply with a new email address, and thus continue to pollute these spaces of exchange.
**What is Web3's response to this?**

Let's go a little further (I want to repeat, I'm not writing this to upset anyone, but rather to bring you relevant information), you are a Man or a Woman, and you don't consider yourself Binary (in your affective life), So on the Media/Social Networks you will create a second account to be able to live your private life on the net with people who share the same interests as you, people who are similar to you, because you are afraid that your professional entourage will discover your little secret, and that this could have a negative impact on your professional relationships. Whereas in Web3 Social Media/Networks, there will be no interaction between different communities, you can participate in several communities, however different they may be, without there being any connection between them. So just like what you do in public life, separating your professional life from your private life, you will be able to do it without fear thanks to Web3*.

**While on a Web 2.0 Media**, **the sanction will be the banning of the site**, **the Web3 Media will be based on a** '***Reputation***', because I remind you, who says **decentralization**, also says *impossible to delete a user Profile*, because they will not be hosted on Floyx Servers, but on a public Blockchain. **How will the 'Reputation' work?**

We all know that not everything in life is beautiful or rosy, we all have moments of depression or the urge to rant, but we must **think carefully before posting**, because **once it is online**, **it will be impossible to delete it**, not even by the author, because **it is registered on the Blockchain**.
*If a user has the status of 'Troll', he will still have the possibility to go back to a 'Neutral' status*, but it will require a lot of work and effort from him to improve his status. If not, they will be invisible in the system, but will not be able to delete their account and start again. And conversely, if a 'Troll' does not make an effort to improve his situation, he will eventually be invisible in the system, without being deleted.

What are the different iterations of the Web?

For a few months now, if not a few years, **we have been seeing a lot of new words appear in the language of the** "***Crypto Sphere***".
One of these words that we are particularly interested in is "**Web3**".
**What does this word refer to? If we talk about 'Web3' does that mean that there is also a 'Web2' and a 'Web1'?**

Let's go back to the **3 iterations of the Web**.
**Web 1.0:**
The very **beginnings of the Web**, although the name 'Web 1.0' came late (in 1999), **since the early 1990s we have seen the very first Web Sites appear on the Internet**.
**They were static** at the time, and **linked to each other by Hypertext links**. These **Websites were created by Web professionals** and were **intended for individuals**.
When we talk about **static websites**, it means that they were **read-only**. ***The reader could not interact with the content, make changes to it, or comment on it. Just as publishing content or creating websites was reserved for web professionals***.
For the youngest among us, it is inconceivable that such sites could have existed, and for the not so young, we still remember these often 'under construction' websites, whose interfaces were relatively sober.

For a few years now, the word '**Web3**' has been around. According to some, it is **the next big evolution of the Web**. This word is for the first time used in a **Blog in January 2006** by **J. Zeldman**, then in a **New York Times article** in **November 2006** by **J. **Video game live streaming platform development;** *Development of Rapture (Rapids’ streaming platform) was ongoing and successful throughout 2021 with 10+ open days for testing, and events including marketing on well established game platforms such as Minecraft.*
**Video game live streaming platform crowdfunding commences;** *The crowdfund was delayed due to ongoing development and growth of Rapture.*
**Masternode Governance;** *RPDx layer will be the platform for the governance as we witnessed on our recent testnet launch of RPDx where masternode holders had a chance to vote for coin burn.*

**Rapids mobile wallet cold staking integration;** *Cold staking proved to be unpopular as it still required a wallet of a “friend” to be open 24/7 to be able to receive rewards. We discussed with the community the possibility of staking with instant rewards and withdrawals via our mobile wallet by utilizing our already running hybrid platform Rapids Host.* **Development is almost complete, with the new mobile wallet UI/UX being deployed to support it and is set for release Q1 2022.**
**RPDx Creation;** *RPDx was researched and then created Q3 and deployed as testnet Q4 2021. We are excited for launch Q1 2022 with collaborations already set up and new and existing partners planning their deployment on the layer.*
**Bridge Creation RPD / RPDx;** *Bridge is deployed on the RPDx layer, for all transactions RPD coin will be used for fees and the RPDx token will be our wrapped token to support any trades and crowd sales on the layer.*

**NFT game content;** April 2021, Rapids recruited their first *NFT artist Samantha Haeffele (Looney Mascot), an American Artist & Industrial Designer, with an incredible background including a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a history working as a Pattern Design at Realtree. Samantha has been working behind the scenes creating our first edition NFT game which will see RPD holders from all over the world competing against each other, creating new marketing opportunities and of course bringing another exciting use case for RPD.* **Expected release Q1 2022.**
**NFT Platform;** *Martijn Rapids’ Cto has be actively working on the front end of the platform, once we have completed the testnet of RPDx layer the engine of the platform we can finalize the development and deploy.*
**Video game streaming platform testing;** *Testing was ongoing throughout 2021 with many streamers taking part,*

**Integration of RPD into the streaming platform (Rapture) for Payments and Tips;** *Development of Rapture was put on hold until further notice and instead we’ll be actively sourcing partners and or other platforms whereby Raptic can be integrated for their streamers and viewers to have full use of.*

Last month also saw start to a major upgrade and deployment of the BSC Bridge which allows you to convert your Rapids (RPD) to Wrapped Rapids (bRPD) and use them on all Binance Smart Chain dApps.
On December 12th we unveiled the ‘**Xmas Linkshare**’ to send and receive Rapids (RPD) in the easiest way possible, through a link, you could send these Xmas Linkshare links via Mail, SMS, on Media and Social Networks, etc.

**Almost every investor holds the token for the short-term without understanding the long-term value. So, how can you ensure for us that holding this token is more beneficial for long-term and what is your plan to increase the demand and scarcity of the token?**
*I personally don't believe in just holding a Coin or Token without any purpose. Rapids already offers attractive passive income on holdings through Masternodes or Staking. As you can see from our whitepaper release we aren't working on short term goals and we believe in opening up the Blockchain to the "normal" people in day to day life as there's billions of people who haven't even started their journey yet so we aim to make it easy for onboarding these billions with real life features such as the ticketing.*
*We're working with our partners who aren't part of blockchain as of yet but have massive reach in their communities and worldwide where they can adopt RPD into their day to day businesses for a purpose of its blockchain tech.*
**Why did you launch your own blockchain and not choose an existing one, like Ethereum…?**
*For many reasons, for example; not having to rely on third party blockchains or having to pay extortionate gas fees. It gives us the freedom to develop and offer our own products with extra security that we are in control of.*
