Turismofobia
**Introducción**
Turismofobia. Esta palabra, que apareció hace solo unos años, está hoy en todas las bocas, desde Venecia hasta Kioto, pasando por Barcelona. Describe el miedo, la aversión o el rechazo que sienten los habitantes de un destino turístico frente al turismo de masas y sus excesos.
Sin embargo, el turismo nunca ha sido tan importante. En 2025, el mundo registró 1,5 mil millones de turistas internacionales, y la Organización Mundial del Turismo estima que esta cifra llegará a 1,8 mil millones antes de 2030. El turismo da trabajo a millones de personas en el mundo, pero son muchas veces los propios habitantes de estos destinos los que más sufren. Es esta contradicción la que vamos a intentar comprender y analizar, respondiendo a cuatro preguntas : ¿Qué reprochan los habitantes al turismo? ¿Se trata de un movimiento mundial? ¿Pueden los destinos prescindir de estos ingresos? ¿Y qué soluciones existen?
**¿Qué reprochan los habitantes al turismo?**
No sería justo decir que los habitantes están en contra del turismo. Lo que rechazan es el turismo de masas y sus excesos, que terminan por destruir su calidad de vida en el día a día.
El primer problema es económico. Con el éxito de plataformas como Airbnb, muchos propietarios han transformado sus viviendas en alojamientos turísticos, mucho más rentables que el alquiler tradicional. Los alquileres han subido mucho, obligando a los habitantes a irse a zonas más alejadas y más baratas. Las pequeñas tiendas del barrio cierran una tras otra, reemplazadas por tiendas de souvenirs y grandes cadenas que se encuentran en todas partes del mundo. La restauración sigue la misma lógica : los fast-foods y los restaurantes que solo buscan turistas han invadido los centros de las ciudades, con menús estándar y precios altos. Habiendo trabajado más de veinte años en la restauración en Francia y en el extranjero, he podido ver esta evolución con mis propios ojos : donde antes había restaurantes de barrio animados y asequibles, ahora solo queda una oferta pensada para los visitantes de paso.
Más allá de lo económico, es un sentimiento más profundo el que se expresa : el de no estar ya en casa. Las lenguas extranjeras dominan en las calles, y la cultura local se ha transformado muchas veces en un espectáculo para complacer a los turistas. Esto es lo que llamamos la pérdida de identidad cultural. Los comportamientos irrespetuosos se multiplican, llegando a veces hasta la degradación de monumentos y espacios públicos. Por último, los centros históricos viven lo que llamamos la "museificación" : las plazas y las callejuelas se convierten en decorados para selfies, pensados no para ser vividos por sus habitantes, sino fotografiados por millones de turistas.
**El turismo de masas : ¿un fenómeno aislado o un movimiento mundial?**
Este fenómeno está lejos de ser aislado. La turismofobia se ha convertido en una realidad mundial, y las protestas se multiplican en todas partes : Venecia, Barcelona, Ámsterdam, Kioto, el Machu Picchu... La lista crece cada año.
Lo que hace de la turismofobia un verdadero movimiento de fondo son las causas profundas que son las mismas en todas partes : la democratización de los vuelos low-cost, que ha hecho el viaje accesible a millones de personas más, la explosión de las plataformas de reserva en línea, y sobre todo el impacto de las redes sociales, que han creado una carrera hacia los lugares "instagrameables", atrayendo a multitudes hacia los mismos sitios al mismo tiempo.
Desde hace unos diez años, movimientos ciudadanos se organizan en todas partes y los ayuntamientos empiezan a legislar seriamente. Barcelona ve regularmente a sus habitantes salir a la calle con el eslogan "Tourists go home". Ámsterdam dejó de promocionarse como destino turístico en 2023. Venecia experimenta desde 2024 un derecho de entrada de pago - una ciudad cuya población pasó de 175.000 habitantes en los años 1950 a menos de 50.000 hoy. En Kioto, el acceso a algunas calles del barrio de las geishas fue prohibido a los turistas después de años de comportamientos irrespetuosos.
Las redes sociales, que contribuyeron mucho a la explosión del turismo de masas, juegan hoy un papel contrario : amplifican la rabia de los habitantes y les dan una visibilidad mundial. Las mismas herramientas que crearon el problema se convierten poco a poco en herramientas de resistencia.
**El turismo : una dependencia económica difícil de ignorar**
La realidad es muy variada y depende mucho del nivel de dependencia de cada destino. Lo que es seguro es que el turismo representa hoy alrededor del 10% del PIB mundial y genera cerca del 10% de los empleos en el mundo, en sectores muy diferentes como la hostelería, la restauración, los transportes o el ocio.
Algunos países están en una situación de dependencia existencial. Para ellos, una parada brutal del turismo sería una verdadera catástrofe nacional. Es el caso de las Maldivas, donde el turismo representa entre el 40 y el 60% del PIB. El Covid-19 lo demostró de forma brutal : el PIB cayó un 32% en 2020 cuando se cerraron las fronteras. En Europa, países como Grecia o España sacan entre el 15 y el 25% de su PIB del turismo. Al contrario, países como Francia, Alemania o Estados Unidos, para los que el turismo representa menos del 10% del PIB, tienen los medios para regular los flujos turísticos sin poner en peligro su economía.
También es importante señalar que los ingresos del turismo están muy mal repartidos. Plataformas como Airbnb o Booking, las grandes cadenas hoteleras y los restaurantes estándar se llevan una gran parte de los beneficios, en detrimento de los pequeños comercios locales. Mientras tanto, los trabajadores locales - camareros, camareras de piso, guías - son muchas veces los peor pagados, con contratos precarios. El turismo enriquece el destino en apariencia, pero este dinero no siempre beneficia a los que sufren sus inconvenientes cada día.
La verdadera pregunta es entonces : ¿qué turismo, para quién, y a qué precio?
**Hacia un turismo más responsable : ¿qué soluciones?**
Sí, existen soluciones. Pero no existe una solución universal. Lo que funciona en Venecia no será necesariamente aplicable en el Machu Picchu. La regulación del turismo de masas es un desafío complejo que necesita respuestas adaptadas a cada territorio.
Lo primero que hay que cambiar es la forma en que la gente viaja. Muchos turistas viajan todavía como lo hacían sus padres, siguiendo los mismos circuitos en las mismas épocas. Sin embargo, hay muchísimas cosas que descubrir en el mundo, lejos de las zonas ultra-turísticas saturadas. Este cambio pasa por la educación y la sensibilización : aprender a respetar el patrimonio que visitamos, interesarse de verdad por las culturas locales, y compartir experiencias auténticas con las comunidades que nos acogen.
A mayor escala, las instituciones tienen un papel importante, y muchas ya han empezado a actuar. Los impuestos turísticos se multiplican en todo el mundo : Barcelona y Lisboa han aumentado su tasa de estancia, Grecia impone ahora una tasa a los cruceristas, y Bután ha instaurado un impuesto de "desarrollo sostenible" de 100 dólares por noche, lo que hace el turismo de masas imposible en este país. Los cupos y los sistemas de reserva obligatoria son también una respuesta eficaz : el Machu Picchu limita las visitas a 4.000 personas por día, y en Francia, sitios como la isla de Porquerolles o la cala de Sugiton cerca de Marsella han puesto límites diarios de visitantes.
Algunas ciudades han adoptado también el "desmarketing" - comunicar no para atraer, sino para orientar o disuadir. Ámsterdam dejó de hacer cualquier promoción turística, y en Singapur la aplicación "Visit Singapore" propone itinerarios alternativos que han reducido significativamente la presión sobre las zonas saturadas.
Pero la solución más duradera es quizás la que todavía se explora poco : implicar de verdad a los habitantes en la gestión turística de su territorio. Si los residentes pueden participar en las decisiones sobre lo que pasa en su barrio, el turismo puede volver a ser algo compartido y no sufrido.
**Conclusión**
En 1950, el mundo contaba con 25 millones de turistas internacionales. En 2025, son 1,5 mil millones.s. En apenas 70 años, esta cifra se ha multiplicado por 60. Un crecimiento alucinante, posible gracias a la construcción masiva de hoteles, el desarrollo del transporte aéreo y el auge de las plataformas digitales - todo esto sin preocuparse realmente de las consecuencias para las poblaciones locales y el patrimonio.
La turismofobia es en cierta manera la factura de este retraso en la toma de conciencia. Durante décadas, se ha construido, promocionado, llenado - sin preguntarse nunca hasta dónde podía llegar esto. Las cosas se mueven hoy, pero si nada cambia de verdad y rápidamente, es el turismo mismo el que puede pagar el precio. Porque viajar, en lo que tiene de más bonito, es el descubrimiento - de lugares auténticos, de culturas vivas, de comunidades que acogen con orgullo.
El sueño de viajar y de salir a descubrir el mundo merece algo mejor que esto.

Los transportes: ayer, hoy y mañana
**I. De los orígenes del hombre a las primeras revoluciones del transporte**
Para entender hacia dónde vamos, primero hay que ver el camino recorrido. El Homo sapiens apareció en la Tierra hace unos 300 000 años. Durante casi toda esa historia, sus únicos medios de transporte eran sus propias piernas. Hace unos 10 000 años, con las primeras civilizaciones — la escritura, la agricultura, las ciudades — el hombre empezó a necesitar mover cargas y personas a grandes distancias.
**La rueda: todo empieza hace 5 500 años**
En Mesopotamia, hacia el año 3 500 a.C., apareció una de las invenciones más importantes de la historia: la rueda. Antes de ella, el hombre usaba trineos para deslizar cargas pesadas por el suelo. Era útil en la nieve o el barro, pero muy limitado. Con la rueda, el carro y los animales domésticos como el caballo, el burro o el dromedario, las posibilidades crecieron mucho. Por primera vez, se podían transportar mercancías cientos de kilómetros. Así nacieron el comercio y, poco a poco, los viajes.
**Los romanos: los primeros constructores de una red de transporte**
Tres mil años después de la rueda, el Imperio romano dio un paso muy importante. Construyó más de 400 000 km de calzadas pavimentadas. Estas carreteras conectaban Roma con sus provincias más lejanas, desde Escocia hasta Mesopotamia. No solo servían para mover los ejércitos. También facilitaban el comercio, la comunicación y, ya entonces, una forma de turismo. Los ciudadanos romanos ricos viajaban hasta Egipto para ver las pirámides. Mil años más tarde, los carruajes en Europa convirtieron los viajes en un símbolo de riqueza. Solo los nobles y los comerciantes prósperos podían viajar con comodidad.
**Siglo XIX: la revolución industrial lo cambia todo**
A principios del siglo XIX, la historia del transporte cambió de verdad. En 1825, el ingeniero británico George Stephenson inauguró la primera línea ferroviaria de pasajeros en Inglaterra, entre Stockton y Darlington. La locomotora apenas llegaba a 25 km/h, pero la gente no podía creerlo. Setenta y cinco años después, en 1900, ya había más de un millón de kilómetros de vías de tren en todo el mundo. Fue un crecimiento increíble que transformó la economía y los hábitos de viaje.
En 1828, París vio aparecer el Omnibus, el primer servicio de transporte colectivo regular, tirado por caballos. Era el antepasado de nuestros autobuses modernos. En 1885, el ingeniero alemán Karl Benz presentó el Motorwagen, considerado el primer automóvil de la historia. En 1908, Henry Ford introdujo la cadena de montaje. Así pudo fabricar coches en serie y hacerlos más baratos para la clase media americana.
**1903: el hombre levanta el vuelo**
La historia de la aviación es todavía más reciente. El 17 de diciembre de 1903, en Kitty Hawk, Carolina del Norte, los hermanos Orville y Wilbur Wright realizaron el primer vuelo motorizado de la historia. Duró solo 12 segundos y recorrió 37 metros. Parece poco, pero abrió una nueva era. Solo dieciséis años después, en 1919, se inauguró la primera línea comercial regular entre París y Londres. Y en 1969, apenas 66 años después de ese primer vuelo, el Concorde hizo su primer viaje. Unía París y Nueva York en menos de 3 horas y 30 minutos. Fue una revolución para el turismo internacional de lujo.
**Un siglo de cambios radicales**
Para ver la velocidad de esta evolución, basta con un número. En 1908, cuando Ford lanzó su Model T, había solo unos pocos miles de automóviles en el mundo. Poco más de un siglo después, en 2024, hay más de 1 500 millones. Nunca en su historia la humanidad había cambiado tan rápido sus medios de transporte. Y todo indica que las próximas décadas irán todavía más lejos.
**II. Los transportes del futuro: más rápido, más lejos, más limpio**
**Lo que ya existe: el inicio de una revolución**
Ya vivimos los primeros momentos de esta revolución. Los coches eléctricos, con marcas como Tesla o Renault, representaron más de 17 millones de vehículos vendidos en el mundo en 2023. Los drones de reparto ya se usan en varios países, con empresas como Amazon y DHL. Los cohetes reutilizables de SpaceX (Falcon 9) redujeron mucho el coste de los lanzamientos espaciales. En el sector ferroviario, el tren de hidrógeno ya circula en Alemania desde 2022, sin ninguna emisión de CO₂.
Para el turismo, estos cambios ya son importantes. Los coches autónomos empiezan a usarse como transporte en algunos aeropuertos. Los taxis voladores (eVTOL) están en fase de certificación. Empresas como Joby Aviation o Lilium esperan comercializarlos antes de 2027.
**El Hyperloop: ¿el fin de las distancias medias?**
Elon Musk presentó esta idea en 2013. Hoy varias empresas, como Virgin Hyperloop, la están desarrollando. El sistema lanza cápsulas dentro de tubos con muy poca presión de aire. Puede alcanzar hasta 1 000 km/h. En la práctica: París-Marsella en menos de 45 minutos, o Barcelona-Madrid en 30 minutos. Para el turismo, esto significa que destinos que hoy parecen "demasiado lejos para un fin de semana" se vuelven fácilmente accesibles. Es un cambio radical en la idea de distancia.
**El avión supersónico: el regreso del Concorde, mejorado**
El Concorde se retiró en 2003. Pero empresas como Boom Supersonic trabajan en una nueva generación de aviones supersónicos. Pueden volar entre Mach 1,7 y Mach 2,2, es decir, más de 2 000 km/h. Nueva York-Londres en 3 horas y 30 minutos, en lugar de 7 horas y 30 minutos. Estos aviones están previstos para 2030. Su mercado principal será el turismo de lujo y los viajes de negocios.
**Los trenes Maglev: la levitación al servicio del viajero**
Japón es el líder en este campo. Su tren Maglev SCMaglev alcanzó 603 km/h en pruebas en 2015. Estos trenes flotan gracias a campos magnéticos, sin ningún contacto con los raíles. Eso elimina la fricción y permite velocidades muy altas con gran comodidad. La línea Tokio-Osaka, en construcción, reducirá el viaje de 2 horas 20 minutos a solo 40 minutos.
**Los taxis voladores eVTOL: la ciudad vista desde el cielo**
Los eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) son vehículos eléctricos que despegan y aterrizan de forma vertical, como helicópteros, pero son silenciosos y no contaminan. Ciudades como Dubái, Los Ángeles o París ya los probaron. Para el turismo urbano, el impacto sería enorme. Imagina sobrevolar los tejados de Roma o las calanques de Marsella durante un traslado del aeropuerto al hotel.
**¿Y dentro de 100 años? Los límites de lo posible**
Los vuelos espaciales para turistas — ya iniciados por Blue Origin y Virgin Galactic — podrían estar al alcance del público general. Algunos ingenieros imaginan viajes punto a punto en órbita baja. Así se podría unir cualquier ciudad del mundo en menos de 45 minutos.
En todos los casos, los transportes del futuro tienen los mismos objetivos: cero emisiones, máxima velocidad y comodidad total. La Inteligencia Artificial y los objetos conectados (IoT) permitirán gestionar en tiempo real los flujos de pasajeros en todo el mundo.
**Conclusión**
La historia del transporte es muy reciente comparada con la edad de la humanidad. Pero en la tierra, en el aire o en el espacio, el ser humano seguirá innovando para ir cada vez más rápido y más lejos. Lo que es seguro es que cada revolución del transporte ha transformado el turismo. Las próximas no serán diferentes. Destinos hoy inaccesibles se volverán normales, y nuevas formas de viajar, todavía inimaginables, aparecerán pronto.

Click **‘Add’** to add Polygon network.
We receive confirmation of the addition of the Polygon network, and we can immediately switch the network to the one we are interested in.

Here we see the address of our wallet and the option to copy the address. Remember, in order to purchase tokens or perform any transaction through Polygon chain, you need to have Matic on your wallet (which are needed for gas fee). Now let’s get to the point.
**How to create your Klever Wallet and have an address to store, sell and buy Floyx Tokens ($Floyx)**

You will be asked to *read and accept the Privacy Policy*.
Click on ‘**Create a Wallet**’. Then **create a 6-digit PIN code** (avoid birthdays or number combinations that are too easy to guess) and confirm it again.
For the next step, be very careful, it’s the **Seed Phrase**, the most important information you need to protect and keep safe. This ***random combination of 12 words will be used to restore your account if you change devices or if you lose your PIN code***. It is also the only information that will allow you to access your funds anywhere, so it is important to keep it in a safe place (*don’t send it to yourself in an email*, *don’t print it*, *don’t take a screenshot*, *just write it down on a piece of paper!*)
Once this is done, you will have to rewrite the ‘Seed Phrase’ in the right order in the application and validate. **Read carefully the information and recommendations on confidential data & Seed before proceeding**.
If you have a referral link you can indicate it in this last step, otherwise ignore it and go on.
You now have your Wallet, with which **you will be able to receive/send your $Floyx soon and even buy some**! as soon as they are available on the exchanges. You can now add Floyx Tokens to your list of Tokens in your Wallet by clicking as indicated by the arrow in the image below.

The **creation of a HyperPay Wallet requires great attention from you**, just like any other Wallet, you must take care to note on a sheet of paper the confidential information that will be generated for you. The next step is the most important step for the security of your HyperPay Wallet. ***A Mnemonic Phrase will be randomly generated***. You must write it down on a piece of paper and then put it in a safe place. While if you lose your App password you can always uninstall and reinstall HyperPay Wallet to create a new password, if you forget or lose your Mnemonic Phrase, neither HyperPay nor anyone else will be able to help you find it. Do not take screenshots, email or print this information, etc.
Once this Private Key is secured, confirm the 3 information/conditions before going to the next step which will consist in re-noting in the right order the list of 12 or 24 words. **Read the new information carefully** and then click on ‘All Completed’.

**How to install and configure your SafePal Wallet.**
First, **download it** from your favorite Store, **iOS**, **Android** but also available as a **Browser Extension** (Chrome, Firefox and Edge) https://www.safepal.com/appinfo https://www.safepal.com/download/appstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.safepal.wallet
Once this is done, click on ‘***Start***’.
The first step to do is to **set a password**. Very important step. **You must create a password of at least 8 characters**, numbers, letters and special characters, upper and lower case. Only you should know it, avoid things too simple such as first names followed by a birthday, or places and symbolic dates for you. Be creative.
For the little tip, ***if you lose your password afterwards***, don’t ***panic***. As SafePal says, they don’t store any Passwords or Seed Phrases, so it will be impossible for them to help you if you lose or forget that first piece of information. Here is the advice they give: ***If you lose your Password, but you still have your Seed Phrase, you can uninstall the app and install it again, create a new Password and then instead of creating a new Wallet you will have to import a Wallet using your Seed Phrase*** (see later in the article to know more about the Seed Phrase)
Then validate the ‘***Terms of use***’.
The next step is to **create a pattern**, choose something original.
**Now you are ready to create your SafePal Wallet**.
This next step will allow you to **create** (or import) **a new Wallet**. Choose the first ‘***Software Wallet***’ and then ‘***Create a new wallet***’ (or one of the other options available if you want to import a previous Wallet)
Then **enter your Password** to proceed to the next step.
This new step is also extremely important, as much as the Password, or even more. **Read carefully the information provided by SafePal** and then click on ‘***Generate***’.
**The first thing to do is to write down the list of 12 randomly generated words on a piece of paper**. **It’s very important to secure this information as it is the only information that will allow you to access your funds from any device**. Do not take a screenshot, do not write it down in a document on your computer or in an email you send to yourself, do not print it, do not give it to anyone. The security of your funds is at stake.
Then enter your Seed Phrase in the right order, and click on ‘***Verify***’.
You have reached the last step, you are asked to **give a name to your Wallet**.

World Music Day - Fête de la Musique
Hello everyone, today is the **21st of June**, a day that marks the **first day of Summer**, but more importantly! The day of the '***Fête de la Musique***'! '***World Music Day***'. This year we are celebrating the **40th edition** of this exceptional event.
**Let's go back to the origin of this festival.**
I don't know if you know it, but **this event** (which later became international) **was created and launched on 21 June 1982**, on the initiative of the *French Minister of Culture*, Jack Lang
But this idea did not appear by magic, we have to **go back a few years**, to **1976**.
This festival was imagined by the **American musician Joel Cohen**, who was **working at the time on the French radio station** called '***France Musique***' where he proposed the '***Saturnales de la Musique***' on **21 June and 21 December** to mark the **two Solstices** (Summer and Winter). Initially planned in Western Paris and Toulouse (in France)
**Why June 21?**
Because it is the time of the year when **the day is longest**, so **the night is shortest**, which allows **people to play music**, **sing and dance until dawn**.
Maurice Fleuret, Director of Music and Dance, under the authority of the French Ministry of Culture, whose Minister was Jack Lang, had the idea of naming this event '***Faites de la Musique***', before changing it to '***Fête de la Musique***'. He imagined a **free**, **spontaneous and popular event**, which would **bring together all types of music** "***without hierarchy of genres or origins***":
"*La Musique sera partout et le concert nulle part*"/"***Music will be everywhere and the concert nowhere***".

The event was quickly exported internationally. Ten years after its launch, **in 1992**, **85 countries have organised their own World Music Day** on all five continents.
In 1985, it was the **European Year of Music**, which later led to the establishment of the "***Fête Européenne de la Musique***". The principle of this **charter signed in 1997 in Budapest**, now applies to all countries, including those outside Europe, that wish to be associated with the Fête de la Musique.
Today, this **event is organised by more than 120 countries** throughout the world, and **in more than 350 major cities**, for the pleasure of music lovers, musicians, but also tourists! who can discover new artists, or new local musical cultures!

Rapids Network - L'année qui vient de s'écouler !
L'année 2022 bat son plein et les nouveaux développements de Rapids se préparent à sortir. La citation "*Rome ne s'est pas faite en un jour.*" me vient à l'esprit, **il faut du temps pour accomplir de grandes choses**, **et si l'on ne peut pas s'attendre à ce que le succès vienne tout de suite**, **il sera atteint avec une persévérance constante**.
Beaucoup de choses ont été initiées depuis le premier janvier, y compris le développement du Rapids Explorer, du Launchpad, l'intégration de fonctionnalités et la poursuite des Stress Test de RPDx sur la Rapids Blockchain sans oublier Raptic, qui a été présenté à de nombreuses communautés établies...
**Raptic atteint des sommets !**
Pour rappel, au premier trimestre 2022, nous avons assisté à une croissance massive des utilisations de Raptic dans différents serveurs Telegram et Discord. Afin de stimuler l'intérêt de la communauté pour le bRPD et de nous permettre de développer de nouvelles opportunités pour l'utilisation de Wrapped Rapids (bRPD), nous continuons jusqu'à nouvel ordre à récompenser les plus grands Liquidity Providers (LP) (Fournisseurs de Liquidité) dans les pools bRPD/BNB et bRPD/BUSD, tout en nous rapprochant activement des plateformes BSC tierces pour une intégration plus poussée de notre Token bRPD. Bien que ce ne soit pas une priorité principale, nous avons écouté et sommes d'accord sur le fait que l'exposition sur Binance Chain attirera finalement ses utilisateurs vers RPD lorsque nous commencerons à sortir des produits.

Le nouvel Explorer sera la base d'une multitude de fonctionnalités futures qui seront lancées avec le RPDx Mainnet. Le lancement du nouvel Explorer est un événement majeur pour l'écosystème et nous sommes très heureux de partager avec vous les progrès de ce développement. Voici ce que vous pouvez attendre des prochaines étapes :

***(v2.1)*** Activation du Testnet pour la couche RPDx (RPDx Layer)
***(v2.2)*** Lancement du Lite Marketplace qui permet l'achat de Tokens, de projets NFT et l'activation du RPDx Mainnet.
***(v2.3)*** Lancement des fonctions de Billetterie et de Partenariat
Ce mois-ci, vous verrez le déploiement du Rapids Launchpad qui est lancé avec le dernier RPDx Testnet, qui vous permettra de déployer des actifs de test et d'être en mesure de les visualiser sur Explorer v2.1 et de nous fournir tout commentaire sur nos développements jusqu'à présent.
