Tragedy Befalls The Ronaldo Family
On the 21st of October 2021, 5-time Balon d'or winner Cristiano Ronaldo and partner Georgina Rodriguez, announced on Instagram that they would be expecting twins at the end of the 3rd Trimester.
Yesterday being the 18th of April 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo came online and announced that the wife gave birth successfully but in the course of doing that, they lost one of the twin babies, the male child to be precise. At this time our thoughts are with Cristiano Ronaldo and the family.
Ronaldo lost his father at a very tender age and as a matter of fact, losing a family member is one that can have a devastating effect on anybody, regardless of their status in the society. On that note, other clubs, footballing and non-footballing bodies duly sent their condolences across.
This bad news came a day after he scored a hat trick against Norwich City, pushing him to 3rd on the premier league top scorers list this season.
We pray that the Lord will give him and the family the fortitude to bear this loss and may the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace. Amen .
Ronaldo's club, Manchester United faces their archrival Liverpool later today and it's very unlikely that he will feature.

I was very upset to hear this news about him and his wife. It is a very bitter and sad experience, especially for his wife who has just given birth. May God give them patience.
