Many reckless drivers was driving in the road and never think that they can harm others .Reckless drivers is one of those reasons of some accidents in the road.

June 13,2022

Yesterday is the Feast of Saint Anthony de Padua anyway I am one of devotees of that patron ever since when I was a child.We believe the miracles of Saint Anthony de Padua our patron.Every 13thof June is the feast of the said saint ,many people ,devotees was visiting the Pomponan Church ,if you are living in the Leyte maybe you'll know this place.I still remember those days when I was still young ,I saw a lot of people every fiesta in the barangay ,many of them was came from different places ,some of them came a day before the feast ,they are sleeping inside the church.Every june we prepared and save money so that we can have money to buy something that was selling on the feast day .A lot of vendors was there selling different items ,toys ,food and clothes.

When I was in highschool I witness a miracle from Saint Anthony ,it was a rainy day ,the rain poured hardly our school announce that they will suspend the class and they are letting us to go home to our different homes.When we are at the barangay road , we saw the flood and its not passable so we decided not cross and I stayed at the church with my classmates where the statue or image of Saint Anthony de Padua was there.We prayed that the flood will gone and the rain will stop so that we can go home to our family safely. Theres a lot of water inside the church and the statue of Saint Anthony was place in the higher level and the flood did'nt reached that area but to our surprised the clothes of the said Saint was wet ,I think in the knee parts of his clothes ,we checked the area but theres no water .We are curios of whats happening so we went to the house of our cathecist who lived near the church and we told about what we saw and then she said that maybe Saint Anthony was protecting us from flood ,it was the miracle he did then after a while we heard the barangay tanod announced that the bridge is already passable.So we quickly cross the bridge and forgot what we saw at the church .It was not the first time it was happened ,there was a time that the barangay was having a landslide but it did'nt hurt anybody and then some people saw the clothes of our patron was wet and was having a little mud.Maybe he was at the area where there was a landslide and he protect the people of that place.

So yesterday since it June 13 and its the feast of saint Anthony but I and my kids was not able to go home and the next barangay where we are living now was their patron is saint anthony and they was having a feast celebration there.My kids and I ,together with my mother i law and nephews who drive us going to tye next barangay we went there and visit their chapel.

When were on our way going home ,there was a driver who gets drunk while driving we are running next to him and we surprised on how he was doing ,he was like owning the roads and never mind the other vehicles in the opposite road ,so it was happened when he was overtaking another motorcycle and his hand was hitted by the other motorcycle in other lane ,the plastic bag he was holding was fall ,it was a plastic bag with food ,galing sa fiesta kasi and he never mind what he was doing ,he was like moving in zigzag and never mind the other vehicles.So I told my nephew to stop and let that driver driving away from us ,baka kasi kami mapag tripan ,advance akong mag isip sorry na ,baka kasi banggain kai or what ,kaya I told my nephew to stop the car ay motorcycle pala lol.So when we are already a distance away from we continue and go home.

I told this to my husband and he said that last day there was an accident happened in our barangay ,a motorcycle accidents and the worst thing was there was a child in that motorcycle ,my husband saw the accident and said that the driver was influence by alcohol.

A rescue team from the LGU responded and rescued them.

I don't understand why there is people like that ,they are not thinking of what will be the result of what they doing.I just hoping that they are all safe especially the child.
