Today was a great day for me yes it is I can say that all day. One of the thing I find hard to get rid of is "anger", am a high temper person though i have a gentle face but that doesn't define my attitude lol.

A great day for me March 21st 2023, is the day i learn to control my anger. I wake up in the morning as usual, did my morning prayers and i took my bath. Take a glass of coffee to awake my soul to start afresh again after some time I prepared for school.

I got to school so late because i forgot where I kept my socks I had to take my time to scatter and rearrange my wardrobe. Getting to school, students with morning rants as usual each and everyone is taking about different topics that drives my attention but am not a kind of student that like engaging in morning rants like that am found of revising sometimes listen to music.

I got to my class, greeted my classmates we were all preparing for our first lecture of the day. Unfortunately my cousin came in to the class he taunt my class mate asking him what in his bag, my class mate told him that a package belonging to one of the staff is what is in there. My cousin said he want to have a look on what in there my classmates says no that it just a cloth that needs more care if care is not taken the cloth will get dirty.

Despite the fact that my class mate explained the reason why he don't want to bring out the package that belongs to one of the staff in my school. My cousin refused he picked up a fight with my class mate he slapped him and beat him up I was angry I told him to leave me alone that there is no point in what he his doing, he told me he will slap me to I laughed and I didn't say a word.

He say a lot of things that made me very very angry. I was so angry to the extent that I had to punch the wall at my left hand side. It sound crazy cause people thought I felt pain at my hand but I pretended as if nothing happened but deep down in my heart I know I felt no pain I punch the wall to get rid of my anger.

The pain I felt was a sensation that made me get rid of anger. Though it was painful am glad I didn't let anger control me doing something seriously bad it better to get rid of anger in a painful than to cause a big trouble that will paralyse my future.

This all for today guys, it sounds like today blog isn't that creative right?. Am sorry if you feel that way cause I felt like today's blog isn't something that creative lol I just felt like I should write about this because it something i can't forget.

In conclusion, what do you do to get rid of anger ?. Kindly tell me in the comments section may be I can try that instead of punching the walls and walking away with bruises lol.

I tend to to take a deep breath and seperate myself from the situation. It all really depends on the situation though. If someone is up to no good than getting loud may be the solution. Doing physical harm to something or someone is not the best way to eliminate anger.

Well... at least the wall doesn't fight back. grin To tell you the truth... I do that also sometimes when I can no longer hold the rush of anger. However, punching a concrete wall is quite painful, especially if you don't control your punch.

In the situation you described, it seems you wanted to stop your cousin from bullying your classmate. If that's the case, it's either you punch a wall, another inanimate object, or your cousin to stop the bullying and at the same time release the anger.

I know this is not a peaceful method. Not even healthy. However, putting myself into your shoes at that particular moment, I'd probably punch something wooden like a table or a chair. The "bang" would be louder. Loud enough perhaps to make your cousin stop bullying your classmate. But it's less painful than punching a concrete wall.

After that, I'd take four deep breaths (In through my nose. Bring the air upto the abdomen. Then out through my mouth).

However, it's preferable to jump to the breathing exercise the moment anger starts to build up inside. Then perhaps, you can "de-escalate" the situation before you break anything (or your hand).

I clean and clean and clean until my anger disappears. 🤣 Your cousin needs more tender loving care. You did what you did but in the end, it hurts you more. Still sore?

Yea it hurts me more even still now I bearly use my left hand in typing. I will try to put cleaning to make me get rid of anger I hope it works for me
