It's yet another wonderful festive season, regarding the celebration of Christ. Seasons greetings my amazing readers and friends.

PS; Christmas means the mass of Christ, (the celebration of Christ)

I remember doing a routine at my house every Christmas Eve, and Christmas morning too. How mum would lecture us on the scriptures, regarding the birth of Jesus. Growing up with this information, meant so much to me. I came to love God so much for sending down his son to us, Jesus, for being willing to come down to earth for our sakes, Mary, for agreeing to conceive him, and Joseph, for accepting to take pregnant marry as a wife.

The drama, surrounding Christ's birth, taught me a lot. Of which simplicity isn't left out.

So last night, being Christmas Eve, mum lectured us as usual. Reading from the holy book of the Bible, in the book of Luke 1 vs 28-50.

This talked about the approach the holy spirit had with Mary.

The greetings offered her by the holy spirit, was everything.

He said " Hail, thou that is highly favored, the Lord is with thee.. blessed are you amongst women.

Ohh! How humble Virgin Mary was.

When she heard she would beget a son, she humbly asked., "How do I get pregnant without no knowledge of a man?"

Well, trust God to do the impossibilities. She didn't have to meet a man to conceive, for the power of God overshadowed her flesh.

Remember, by this time, Elisabeth her cousin was already pregnant with John the Baptist for 6months. And the Bible said when she went to see her in the hills of Judah, on seeing her, John the Baptist leaped in Elisabeth's womb...

Wow!

Okay, fast forward to the time of his birth.

The Lord Jesus, who did so many great things, miracles, signs, and wonders, and whom we celebrate greatly today, was born in the most shabby place anyone could think of.

A manger!

Where Horses and animals are kept.

Do you mean Jesus didn't even enjoy the pleasure of a midwife or nurse at least?.. Ohh no!

He was born, and yet narrowly escaped killing by the king Herod of those days.

King Herod, out of envy since Jesus was the prophesied Messiah, who would rule from the kingdom of David, decided to abort God's vision and purpose in him, by attempting to kill him.

But God preserved baby Jesus. How kind!

Jesus grew and waxed strong, starting his ministry in one of the temples at age 12, teaching elderly men., With great understanding.

He continued teaching and gathering men such as Peter, James, John, Judas, Phillip..and 7 other men as disciples. For they were 12 in number.

Together, they did wonders, Jesus went around doing good, healing the sick, showing people the right ways to live, the right things to do that please our heavenly father, the almighty God.

His first miracle was the miracle of turning water into wine, at the wedding at Cana. He did so many great miracles too. Raising Lazarus from the dead, feeding of the 4000 and 5000 men, healing of Jarius daughter, healing the woman with the issue of blood that has been up for 12 good years... casting out demons, healing the lame man at the pool of Bathsheba, healing the ten men with leprosy, of which only one returned to give thanks to him, and him alone was made whole.

Jesus did a lot of good. Bringing peace and light to the hearts of men.

At 33years, he was crucified, courtesy of the betrayal of one of his disciples, by the name of JUDAS ISCARIOT. He betrayed him with a kiss on the morning he went to Galilee to pray alongside Peter, James, and John. For 30 pieces of silver.

He was beaten for our sakes

He was brutalized for our sins

He was assaulted for our wrongdoing.

It was because of us he died.

It was because of our sins, even God the father, had to look away from him because of the sins her carried., Our sins

It was out of love he came down to earth, to live life so we can know how best to live righteously.

It was out of compassion, he decided to come down to save us from sin, and redeem us back to God.

After all of these and lots more not mentioned in this little piece of mine.,

Why shouldn't this KING of KINGS be celebrated?

Why shouldn't we jubilate over the day set aside for the celebration of our Messiah?

December 25th, may not be the exact day Christ was born, but this day was set aside for the celebration of his birth. So we should do that gladly, with love and compassion in our hearts.

While we celebrate, we shouldn't forget that Christ is the reason for this celebration, and love is the theme of this celebration. So enjoy, jubilate, eat, drink, and make merry today being Christmas.

But don't forget to show people around you love today.

The Lord Jesus would forever be happy when you do that.

Meanwhile, today will be a little bit hectic for me..

I would be butchering that plumpy and fat chicken in a few hours' time. I hope I don't get to wrestle with it eventually 😂

Wish me luck.

Merry Christmas to you amazing friends and fans ❤️

I wish you the best out of this celebration. Don't forget that Christ remains the reason for Christmas, and love should be the theme of it.

Love and light Amazing people.🖤

Count down to 2022.

See you there!
