Rome, What to visit First
Travelling is more than an activity to explore the beauty of a region, to taste certain dishes or to shot a couple of dazzling scenes. A lot might say that it is a chance to take your burdens away, breathe some fresh air and fill in your tanks to start another productive journey. Travelling is far more than that.
It is an opportunity to learn new things that you have never read in books. It's an incident through which you can easily figure out what kind of types you can live with, you chat with, you can share with or simply travel with. Travelling is a way to know who your friends are. Travelling is embarking upon plenty of values and manners. It's good to learn about time management, problem-solving, leadership and plenty of values that you will never meet in books. A lot travel for studies and self-development the fact that step up their skills, social network and of course their credentials.
It is that vital to know how to savour every single moment when you hit the road to any destination. It is really more than packing your back-pack.
While in Rome, do as the Romans do
Ages ago, Rome was the focal point of the world if not the world itself. It was not only a meeting point of philosophers, scholars, artists but also visitors, from different parts of the empire, due to its baffling scenes and breath-taking architecture. These, in fact, displayed the grandeur as well as the magnificence of Rome. I lately visited Rome, and I could feel the presence of art, the grandeur of its historical sites and the scent of beauty that overwhelms any visitor, for the first time. There is a great difference between Rome, as a text you teach for your students, and Rome, as the city which still retains its character, from the days of Claudius, Caesar and many other emperors.
Arriving at Termini, the main train station in Roma, the first thing to start with is having a short break after your flight or long drive in one of the neighboring coffee shops, of course with a drop of Italian coffee and one of the insight guides books. This might help gain a lot of time via its best routes to the city’s chief monuments.
One of my memorable routes was that to the Roman Forums. From Termini, line B, you can first head to collosseo where you find the most outstanding landmark of power: the coliseum. This is where the Romans used to enjoy their leisure time watching gladiatorial combats. You can take photos with the Steely Roman Soldiers for 5 euro, but I don’t think it is worthy. Just few steps, you find Constantine’s Arch. Keep going to Circo Massimo, a massive arena for chariot races, games, religious ceremonies, and civic events that used to entertain visitors. Don’t miss to enjoy the fresh air together with the dazzling scenes. I think every corner of Rome tells a story, and here try to remember how pleasant it had been for the Romans.
How I wish to visit the Rome especially the Vatican City.
