While I was in primary school, I remember my class teacher always telling us to say " I am a victor, I am not a victim" I never knew what it actually meant. I thought my class teacher was asking us to say " I am a victor, I am not a victory" But now, I know. Positive action and personality attributes differentiate a victor from a victim. Winners take prompt actions on their goals while losers fold their arms.
One great wisdom of the winner is found in the saying that " winners never quit" A winner is a champion who will not give up whatever may be the difficulties he is facing. Great achievers in history are people who saw failures as feedbacks and turned obstacles into opportunities for success.
The winning student is a champion in the battle for success who will not give in to any discouragement in his bid to excel. A winner forgets those things that are behind him and follow after the goals that are before him. This focused attitude helps the winner to move from strength to strength and from victory to victory.
You've got to tap from the wisdom of winners and achievers. To be a winner, don't not quit whatever happens. Get tough when things get tough. Attempt what others say is impossible. Never be discouraged with disappointments. Smile as you soar in difficult situations. Make obstacles your stepping stone to success. Achievers are always:
Ambitious to be achievers
Brilliant at their best
Conscientious as champions
Diligent and dutiful
Exceptional in exploration
Forthright in faith
Gifted and growing
Hardworking and honest
Kind and knowledgeable
Loving and labouring
Motivated and mindful
Networking and nice
Open-minded to opportunities
Persistent and painstaking
Responsible and reliable
Selfless and studious
Teachable and time-conscious
Understanding and useful
Visionary and venturing
Wise and winning
X-raying and extraordinary
Zipping through to the zenith
There is much you can borrow from the attributes above to move on to the camp of these achievers. Dare to be one of them and begin to live up to the task.
Be a champion and not a coward!
