New films for you to watch

Today’s post I will share with you new films that you may want to include in your next movie marathon.

Let’s go straight without any further ado.

The Adam Project

“Time travel exists, you just don’t know it yet.”

This film is about time travel and of course yours truly is kind of obsessed with time machines, quantum theory and similar information pertaining to time travel.

The film was released by Netflix on March 11, 2022 with Ryan Reynolds as the main character. Yes, it’s him nothing but the sarcastic dead pool.

This is the first time I have seen Reynolds in a time travel film or perhaps there was in the past of his movies that I am not aware of. When you see him in movies you already know that the story has a lot of sense of humor. I mean his deep jokes that you will have to think first before you can laugh.

The film is about a guy Adam Reed (Ryan Reynolds) who travels back to the past to stop his dad from pursuing the concept of time travel. He was about to go back to 2018 but he encountered technical problems during his jump from 2050 and ended up meeting his kid self in 2022.

The Adam Project is now available on Netflix though I never subscribe to Netflix movies (laughs) I prefer to download films in torrents because I am collecting good movies.  

Spider-Man: No way home

“With Great power comes great responsibility.”

Who else here doesn’t recognize that line?

Spiderman movies immortalize that phrase. It was said by Uncle Ben to Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) in the first film of Spiderman in 2002.

Spider-Man: No way home was released on December 17, 2021 in the United States by Fox Village Theatre.

There are numerous posts about this film here and perhaps you have read one from them. Well if you have not watched it yet I guess you should because it has received a lot of positive feedback from critics. MCU has always entertained us with their marvelous films.

Spider-Man: No way home tells about Peter Parker (Tom Holland) who wanted to hide his identity again being Spiderman because it was revealed in Far From Home. He went to Dr. Strange and asked to use his magic so that people can forget the connection between Spiderman and Peter Parker. However something went wrong with the spell. The multiverse was broken allowing visitors from alternate realities to enter in Peter Parker’s world.

Uncharted

 “If something was lost, it can be found.”

Uncharted is a film based on the video game with the same name. The main characters are Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan.

The film was released on February 18 this year in the United States by Sony Pictures Releasing.

You may find this film boring if you think that this is just another movie about thieves. One thing that interests me more was that the film is kind of educational. It tells about finding treasures but not just treasures. They are finding the treasures of Ferdinand Magellan.

We all know that Ferdinand Magellan was credited for traveling around the world. But unfortunately he was killed here in the Philippines by Chief of Mactan Datu Lapulapu on April 27, 1521 during a battle.

Nate has found the ships of Magellan somewhere in the remote island in the Philippines and the treasures are still there. However he has never recovered it all but brought home a few pieces of it.

So I hope I have given you an idea of what film to add in your movies list. These are all good movies. I highly recommend watching it.
