A Few Moments is All You Need "A few moments is" all you need We keep thinking, stressing and struggling over things that don't even matter. Crying over what's gone and worrying about what will (be possibly gone), is all we do if we (somehow get lucky and manage to) get some free time out of our modern-enslaved lives. And then, after all that, we complain not getting to enjoy our lives.   What do you think whose fault is this? Our past, our future or our highly stressed and overthinking mind who never wants us to feel like "**everything is going fine**" even for a moment **(**because according to your mind; The moment you will take a break, you will be left behind**)**?   I hope, you got your answer. _________________________________________________ Take it from me, " Happiness never comes to you; You create it". Think Again. What is happiness?  For most of us, it is, 1. Getting a good job 2. Making a career 3. Buying a new phone, laptop or car (whatever) 4. Getting Good Grades 5. Getting married (maybe) and for others, it is, 1. Being able to spend quality time with family 2. Helping others (or at least, trying to be helpful) 3. Doing good deeds and pleasing their God (if religious)   these along with many others are the possible reasons that may come to your mind when someone says, " I am happy" or " I am enjoying my life" and even when you search the dictionary (choose the one you like) and search it for the word " Happiness"; it says, " a feeling that makes you feel good", " being happy" or something like that.  Right? But the question is why is that? Why the meaning of this word "Happiness" is so vague? Why isn't it simple like other words like **"word":** "collection of letters".  And the answer is "Because it isn't just a word. It's a feeling", and because everyone feels differently; The meaning of "Happiness" varies from person to person.   That being said, Happiness is not conditioned to a certain thing or situation by itself; **You**, however, are the one who make it that way. for instance, some people like outdoor games like football, hockey or cricket and find happiness in that, In other words, playing hockey or cricket makes them happy.  But, at the same time, others find it boring and try to avoid any such occasions where they will have to play or even watch it. Why? Because the former ones try to "**feel**" and “**Enjoy**” it, while the latter ones don't. So, if we just jump to a conclusion, it would be, " **It's all about Choice**" Or “You **Can’t Be Happy Unless You Want to”**   ______________________ So, we have discussed happiness and acknowledged the fact that Happiness is all about "feeling" it. But, now the question is, How do I make that happen?   Well, that's where the title makes its Entry               **" A few moments is all you need**"   As I already mentioned, the thing is that we spend too much time regretting and worrying that we don't realize how much we are already blessed. How many luxuries do we have that others' don't. There is a saying or something like                                                 " **Don't Look at the Superiors; Look at the inferiors and be grateful** "   Well, that applies here.   In other words, if we just take a few moments to think, while relaxing in a peaceful environment, I am pretty sure we will end up being thankful, instead of stressing ourselves.   So, here, my happiness of writing this article reaches its end. I hope you will also find happiness in reading this.   Thank you so much for Being here.

A Beast That's Difficult to Harness It's getting hard... One day I feel like I am superman, it's just that I am a 1000 times stronger. And, the other day I am lazy enough that typing the word " Lazy" becomes a challenge for me. I really don't have an idea of why this happens or what's the right solution for it, but what I **do** know is that In this situation, we all are somewhat on the same boat. So now, if we talk about why this happens, the simple explanation for that could be as simple as "because, I am tired". Yeah! of course I am. But, the question is why? It's not like I have been doing some hard job or haven't eaten for days, or something like that. It's just a normal day like yesterday then why? Why my mood and energy level is so different from yesterday? That's the real question. Well I was giving it a lot of thought, trying to figure out what exactly is going wrong, why this happens, and of course, what's the solution to this. And, I don't claim but I think I might have come up with some explanation( Again! I might be wrong, so be open-hearted). So, without any further delay, let's walk( Too lazy to Jump) right into it. **1. Changed Mental State**(Due to negative thoughts): So, while thinking, I tried to remember what had happened to me yesterday which didn't happen today or vice versa. And I realized that Today, my mind had came across some negative thoughts and emotions which yesterday, it didn't. So, even though my surroundings and everything were same but my inside was a lot more different. It was like, within the short time of a day, my "**Ice-Aged planet**" had turned into a "**Ring of Volcanoes**" ( Just ignore the metaphors and stuff, I really don't know how do I manage to keep coming up with them. By the way, I am working on them). **Conclusion:** So, the conclusion is that sometimes you don't have to go physical( Oops that came out wrong, but you got it. Right? ) to get tired; sometimes, just a few good " **Negative thoughts**" will get the job done. **Solution:** Try( Yeah, at least, try) to be Positive, no matter what. **2. Changed Mental State**( Due to any thought) This one is a bit tricky and seems like no big deal, but it does have a huge impact though. So here it is, sometimes, even normal thoughts which **aren't** usually **negative by nature** can also have negative impact on your mental state. For example; **Worrying about future**. Now, by nature, worrying about future is not a negative thought or act, but stressing over it, **is**. One more thing I would like to mention here is that it's a common misconception that only **negative thoughts** affect your mental state **negatively**. Sometimes, being **too positive(** I know your weren't expecting me to say that as I just advised you to be positive. Right? Well, that's how I am**)** can also have a negative impact on you. **Got confused?** Don't worry, I got you. See, the thing is that by being too positive, you expect everything to turn out well, but, when in reality(sometimes) you see things going differently(even slightly different); That affects your mind **badly** and you end up being negative, **even being "Positive"**. Got it? I know it was a bit tricky but, I just hope you got it. **Conclusion:** Letting your thoughts impact you drastically( even the positive ones) can sometimes have severe consequences. **Solution:** Same as the above, try to be positive, while trying not to go too far. I tried my best to explain the things but still, if my above explanation made you scared of being positive, I'm extremely sorry for that but, it wasn't meant to scare you, it was just to stop you from going **extreme**, **on either side**. Just so you feel relaxed, think again. if I would have wanted you to stop thinking positively; why would I encourage you to be positive in both solutions to both situations? Huh. Feeling better? Good. Thank God So, friends, here it comes to an end, I hope this article will somewhat( if not much) help you in controlling your mood. Even though it is a difficult beast to harness. But, Good Luck with that. **Note:** One more thing, there are a lot of factors that affect our mood like health, thoughts, economical condition even weather. The ones' discussed here are only those which are applied even when everything else remains the same with the individual. So, if you feel like I missed some important factors; Trying reading this note again. Thanks( and Good Luck with that too!) Feel free to use the comment box if you want to express anything and yeah, don't ( Intentionally, lol) forget to hit the like and subscribe button if you liked this article. Thanks you so much for being here.

@DrPsycho

I Never Asked For It What do you think you need the most but you don't have it? Ans: Most common and practical answer to this question would be "**Money**". Yep, that's right. And Yeah if your answer is same as this one, don't worry, there is nothing to be ashamed of, after all that's what everyone needs these days. Doesn't matter if you have 2 dozen kids( well, if you do... that's quite motivating though) all striving to be doctors, software engineers etc, or, you are that ideal family having a father, a mother, a brave boy and a young girl, In the end, all need money. That's why saying " The thing I need the most is 'Money' " is perfectly normal. But, the thing is that, here, I'm not talking about the money. I am talking about the " **Motivation**". I know, you might be thinking "Seriously man? Now, being in the moment, where people are struggling to survive; you act motivational and inspirational instead of **actually** being helpful. Yeah, I completely feel your pain. But, I am! being helpful. think of it like this This "motivation" doesn't have to be just a hope that everything will get better; You could use it as a boost to your willpower to go ahead and provide enough for you and your family. After all if it wasn't for motivation, the human race have had gone extinct long time ago. Right? Fine. Forget the human race, let's be specific "if it wasn't for motivation, this site, **read.cash**, and especially our love at first sight( "**article**", technically) "**TheRandomRewarder**" wouldn't have been created in the first place. And, If **Marc** wasn't motivated enough to lift **BCH**, he would have never funded this site. As a result, Most of the finest talents( now writing) among us ( not gonna mention anyone)would never have been motivated to write and may have never been discovered. See? All that was possible just because of the motivation. And you say, I should be doing something to "Actually" be helpful. God! these humans, never grateful for anything( lol). Now if keep being specific... THINK AGAIN, If BCH losing value affected us( those who were earning it for "pretty much" free( I know writing isn't easy, so the word, "**pretty much**")) that much, imagine what the creators of this site and marc( those who actually invested to positively affect BCH ) might have gone through? YEAH. RIGHT. More than we could imagine. But, still, this site is struggling to survive. What I am.trying to say is that I know you are going through hard times, we all are; Not specifically in case of read.cash; In general as well. But, the point is that sometimes if you try not to feel it more than it is; things might be better for you. As for me, if you read one of my last articles, you might know my laptop was damaged and I was using my phone to write here. And guess what, two days ago, I lost my phone too. Well, it's a long story but will just sum up, my little brother had it for taking pics and in the middle of crowd it was gone. But, still, somehow I am carrying on( on my brother's old phone). One more thing, the day it was gone; Same day rusty visited my last article, it wasn't much, only **0.25$** but, still, was motivating enough to continue as he visited me after a long time( even though I couldn't withdraw bcz I lost seed phrase along with the phone, but doesn't matter I am glad it visited, and it wasn't much to be withdrawn anyway. Plus, if we look at the brightside( not the yt channel); I still have my account. So, my friends, here it ends. Remember, this writing wasn't just for the sake of writing; it was supposed to motivate you to continue. So, do continue. And, yeah, if at any moment, your inner self blames you for what is happening ... Just say one thing and Continue... " I NEVER ASKED FOR IT" I will meet you next time, thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

I will Publish it Tomorrow 1. Get a haircut. **"I will do it tomorrow"'** 2. Write an article. **" I will do it tomorrow"** 3. Get serious in life. **" I will do it tomorrow"** ( Really???) For most of us( not all, of course), this is the basic structure of how we plan on doing things. Which, is fine to the point that we can't just do everything in one day, but things go wrong when we put that "everything" on to the next day, and the next and so on, without setting any kind of realistic and achievable goals to finish it. We keep convincing our mind that we still have got time until, we don't. For instance, as the school starts, everyone plans on studying from the **day ONE**( and on daily basis), but, when it starts, most of us abandon this idea( of studying daily) in two ways. **1. Complete Lockdown:** By saying, There is a lot of time, I can cover everything in the last month or two( or if not being specific to school only, " in No Time"). Or **2. Slow Poison:** By saying, I will start tomorrow( it's only the first day). And then, eventually the "first day" becomes "first week", then "first month" up to the point where, again, we end up having two outcomes: **1.** Either, we get serious but, till then it's too late already. OR, **2.** (In case we still have time, but we get depressed) By saying , if I couldn't do it in a year, how can I do that in a month or so ( " year" used specifically for the school example). And that's how the loop goes on. Now, that we have seen how it ends, The question arises **Q: What can you do to fix this then?** Ans: And the answer is that there is no other solution to this then to have a strong **"Willpower"**. Your willpower is your ability to convince yourself into doing something which you won't be doing in normal routine( the definition got a bit weird, but you get the point. Right?). The only way you can keep yourself from putting things on the **never-coming "tomorrow"** is by using your willpower to not to put them on tomorrow and do it today. Once you have mastered your willpower, then, you can make things easier by: **1.** Setting up daily goals and achievements **2.** Never giving up unless you have reached your daily goal. ( Yeah, I'm serious. Mostly setting goals gives us the impression that we are done. But, never giving up on those goals is also important) and other things like that. But, remember, **Willpower is the key**. If you don't have enough willpower, then above things like setting up goals etc won't do you any good, In fact, they would also fall into that blackhole of doom, the never-ending loop of "tomorrow" ( I know this terminology sounds like some fiction story going on, but, that's just to give you the idea of the intensity of the situation). Another question that arises only in some curious minds( by saying curious, I mean those who still have at least a part of their mind working) is: **Why this happens? Why do we do that.** Ans: The answer to this question is surprisingly easy. **"It's human nature to quit whenever achieving something becomes** **challenging( unless he is determined)"** And the second part " Why do we do that?" Ans: Well, it's has the same answer as the above, In fact, I should have copypasted it. Anyway, the reason we do that is due to our "**Nature**". Because, it's easy to change habits, easy to get rid of addiction, but changing "Nature", it's challenging; and mostly impossible, as they say, **" You can't change human nature"** The question that whether the above "saying" is right or not isn't today's topic so we will discuss it in future somewhere. As for now, Have a nice day. Thanks for being here. ( and yeah, if you made it to the end of this article, trust me, you already have got strong "willpower", just need some work. GoodLuck with that. **Insight:** I will publish it tomorrow

@DrPsycho

It's Always Good to be Back Home It's been long since I published, or even visited this platform. My connection to planet read.cash was totally cut off for a while. The reason behind this might seem like lower rewards rates; eventually resulting in motivation loss. Which, honestly, is one of the reasons, but, it wasn't the only reason. At that time there was so much else going with me that I was not in the condition to just snap out of it and come back to my virtual home planet( read.cash, of course). Firstly, a few days after my I published my last article here, I ended up breaking my laptop which was heartbreaking. And one of the big reasons I wasn't writing anything. Of course, it might not seem right as if I wanted to, I could have used my mobile( which, by the way, I am using right now) or maybe pc for writing. Right? But, the thing is that it was never about the laptop or pc( as in physical) in the first place, it was all about the connection. The connection which was gone after that loss, and that is why, I didn't felt motivated enough to come back and visit this platform for long until today( now that I feel well, here I am writing even from my phone). You might say "Connection? Seriously dude. Come on! It was just a laptop, get over it already. Which I completely agree to... but, Believe it or not, connection do matters a lot. All of us, in a way, are connected to something or someone for sure. We might not feel like it at that time but when "it"( or "they") are "gone"( or lost); then, comes the moment when we start to feel the difference, the loneliness and loss in motivation. The motivation to get up and carry on what we have been doing, the motivation to have courage and move on, and, the motivation to start fresh with the same spirit and level of motivation we had before. Yeah yeah, I know, it sounds like as if it wasn't a laptop; it was a girlfriend or something (lol). But that's how life is. You never know what you will connect to. Doesn't matter if it's a "it" or "they". Anyway, enough of the sad love story. Let's move on to the headlines, It was heartbreaking but I got over it and lately, I've been using my pc( which is some what the age of my grandfather) to get into learning some skill. Yeah I know, for a pc, having it's name and model number date back to a time where they literally used to"write down names of great innovators in golden words"(lol) it seems pretty unrealistic to be able to learn anything from it, but what can you do except for happily accepting what life has to offer. Right? (Well, honestly, that pc isn't that bad either, what I said above was just a fine piece of( what we call...) " The Art of Exaggeration". So, friends, here it comes to an end. I was planning on writing something for the past few days and finally today I was able to do it. This article was just a comeback article meant to share what I experienced mixed with lot's of exaggeration. I hope you like it. I just hope that after publishing this article, things might go back to normal and I may come back to my regular routine. But, In the world, where lunatics are sharing their technology ( specifically, laptop) love stories, you can never be sure about anything. Hope to meet you soon. Thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

Starve to death or Steal food Previously, we had discussed relativism( subjective and cultural both). Today we’ll be moving further and discussing other ethical theories.  So, without any further delay, let’s start **Divine Theory** In this theory, we use **God’s will as a source of guidance**. This theory states that something( or some action) is ethically wrong or right only if it disobeys or follows God’s laws. In other words, Something that is prohibited( forbidden) by God is wrong, and something that is according to God’s will is right. For example, stealing, deceiving, and murder are actions forbidden by God. Hence, according to divine theory( or Divine command theory), they’ll be considered “**Wrong**”. Similarly, helping someone, according to God’s teachings, is the right thing to do. Hence, In Divine theory, it will be labelled as “**Right**”. Now, If we have to sum this whole theory up in just two words, it would be; **“God’s Will”.**  **Not a Workable Theory:** Even though the concept of this theory seems pretty easy as we just have to follow God’s will, still some arguments go against it. Such as The first argument you might hear is  “**Religious scriptures are hard to interpret**”, means that sometimes,  we face situations where determining God’s will never remain as easy as baking a cake(in fact, baking isn’t easy as well). Because, as we can’t directly communicate with God, we can’t be sure unless we know that interpretation of the **Holy books and religious scriptures** done by us was right.  That’s why someone can be doing wrong thinking he is doing right just because of his wrong interpretation of the scripture.   **Note:** Not everyone can interpret religious scriptures right, that is why it is always advised to consult a scholar or expert to find out the real interpretation instead of playing a guessing game.   2. The second argument you might hear is that “ **Holy books or scriptures don’t directly address today’s modern issues**” This seems right, but some people(including me) believe that religion is authentic only if it has the ability to modernize with time.  **Remember:** Modernizing doesn’t mean to **change its teaching**, it only means evolving with society and introducing laws and principles according to the needs of society. In short, I agree with the first argument but not the second one. Anyway, that was also an argument so I mentioned it. The third argument is “ **Society is multicultural, secular**” means that not everyone has one religion and the same teachings, neither all believe in God, so, it’s practically impossible for them to follow divine theory because the divine theory is all about acting according to “God’s will” and if someone doesn’t believe in God in the first place, how is he/she supposed to follow divine theory.  There are many more arguments but for now, we will stop here.  **Example explaining why this theory is not workable:** We know that according to divine theory, stealing is “**Wrong**” as it is against God’s will. Right?  But what if someone is out of food and is going to starve to death if he does not get it.  **So, what do you suggest? Should he steal or not?** Because if you look again at the scenario, you will find out that according to divine theory, “**Saving your life**” is also(morally) **the right** thing to do.  But, In this scenario, he can either do right for the first situation, or the second one; not both. Hence, **the divine theory fails here**. Because, you are following and disobeying God’s order at the same time. So, my dear friends, here it comes to an end, and again, it is just how I understood it, so you are free to do your own research but, still, if you find it helpful, that’s an honor. We will be continuing other theories in the upcoming article.  Thank you so much for being here.

@DrPsycho

No Universal Right or Wrongs Yesterday, I just got freed of my exams and I must say yesterday’s exam went well, not gonna speak for all the exams but most of them were well. Now, I will just be waiting for the exams while praying for those(exams) that made me question my existence. Anyway, it’s over so till the result comes out, everything will be fine. So, let’s move on to today’s topic I remember mentioning a workable theory “utilitarianism” but that had just showed up out of thin air, I had no intention on discussing that but today our topic is specifically going to be about these theories ( not just workable, others too). The thing is that these theories were a part of one of my courses and for me,  it was hard to distinguish or even understand what they say and how they are different;  Hence I had to spend some time figuring out what they say and how they are different from each other, and, I want to share what I got so that you might not face what I faced. **Note:** I am not claiming that what I will be explaining in this article will be completely right, because that’s just how I got those theories; You are always free to do your own research and see if it’s right **Plus** This article is not academic or exam-related; it’s just a general article( which I decided to write because these theories seemed pretty interesting to me), but, still, if it manages to help someone out in there exam or studies, that would be a proud moment for me.   So let’s start **Theories** 1.      Relativism ( Subjective and Cultural ) 2.      Divine theory 3.      Egoism 4.      Kantianism (1st and 2nd formulation ) 5.      Act Utilitarianism 6.      Rule Utilitarianism 7.      Social Contract 8.      Virtue Ethics   **1.     Relativism** It’s the first and most simple one to understand. It has a single rule “**There are no universal Right or Wrongs**”. Same thing, action or person can be wrong for **one** while can be right  for **other** at the same time**.** Now, If you search on google, you will find its example as One person can say “**X is Wrong**” while the other can say “**X is Right**”, both can be right at the same time. Relativism has two types 1.      Subjective 2.      Cultural **1.Subjective Relativism** Subjective Relativism, as the name suggests, is all about one’s morals and perspective. In simple words, subjective relativism states that **something is right if you think it is right.** For example; We all know that smoking is wrong but if we examine it under the umbrella of “Subjective Relativism” then it **depends on you**, and if you like smoking and think there is nothing wrong in doing that then it’s **right for you** while being **wrong for someone else** at the same time as well.   **2.Cultural Relativism** It is also a type of “Relativism” which indicates that it also depends on perspective and moral norms. The only difference between “Subjective Relativism” and “Cultural Relativism” is  the **Scope**. “**Subjective relativism only speaks for an individual**”, means that two people living in the same society can have difference about something being right or wrong. But The Cultural Relativism speaks for the whole “**Culture**”, means that “moral rights and wrongs” are defined within the culture. In other words, something can be right for a culture and can be wrong for the other (at the same time). **For example** In some religious cultures alcohol consumption is prohibited and is considered as wrong thing to do; while, in others, it’s legal and people do it. Similarly, Clothes and fashion also vary from culture to culture. Different fashions of clothes maybe considered bad in one culture but can be fine in another. In simple words, In cultural relativism, a culture never depends on another culture to decide it’s wrongs or rights, **it introduces it’s own moral norms**.   **Not Workable:** Despite being open and seeming as if everyone is free to think and get what they want, still, this theory is not a workable theory. Why? Because there are certain “Rights and Wrongs” that need to be declared “universal” for example if we keep acting according to **theory of relativism** then there is a chance that someone may choose to practice common wrongs such as **murder, theft, abuse** etc and according to him it would be “**right**” as it’s all about your own perspective. Right? Hence, according to the “**Theory of Relativism**” there will be no one questioning his/her actions.       So, here, it comes to an end. We will be discussing other theories in the upcoming       articles; I hope you liked this one and If you did, do consider **liking** and **subscribing**. Thanks for being here.     **Continued....**

What If the Sun is Gone Today, I was up early( before sunrise) so I just decided to relax and enjoy the sunrise( one of the most relaxing moments ever), and while doing this, an idea just flashed into my mind. **What if the sun is gone.** With this insight, I was sure I have to write about this as it is pretty interesting topic. So without any further delay, let’s start **What if the sun is gone?** Well, the short, concise and logical answer to that would be; **Without sun, we won’t survive, In fact, the whole planet won’t survive.**   Yeah, that’s true but I am not being that logical here. I am talking about other interesting and “might be” humorous aspects related to “What if the sun is gone” such as what will **change in our daily routine**. **Note:** It is supposed to be a light and fun article. So, don’t get it wrong.   I will try to write down some of those changes, feel free to add on, if I miss something or you have something more interesting. I might even add that to the list( and don’t worry I won’t be taking credits, I will **mention you**(lol)). Let’s start **If sun is gone, we would definitely stop**   1.     Saying “Close the window” in the morning. 2.     Waiting for winters( In fact, I doubt would the summers even exist without the sun) 3.     Going to beaches( unless you prefer night time) 4.     Using sunscreens( or any other such radiation preventing cream) 5.     Using solar appliances 6.     Saying “It’s hot today, isn’t it” 7.     ( As for government) turning off the street lights(lol) **8.**     Being scared of hot legendary deserts, in fact we might start fearing cold nights in deserts( **Ahh, humans! Always manage to come up with something to fear)** 9.     Stop using “Auto-brightness” in our phones 10.Stop working on day shifts( lol. Well, technically “day shifts” will still exist but...) 11.Having solar eclipse 12.Buying special glasses to see “Solar Eclipse”(  No sun, no eclipse; And no eclipse, no glasses) 13.Trying to take a quick peek at sun, after your mom said “You shouldn’t directly look at the sun, it’s bad for your eyes” (Assuming you are/were a child, not sure if you can relate) 14.Stop using mirrors and sunlight reflection to tease friends or siblings( lol, who does that!.....to be honest, “Me, sometimes”) 15.Using it as tool to find directions, East, West, North, South 16.Lose a close friend, not talking about the **sun**; about **our shadow**( assuming no lights, of course) 17.Stop using “Midnight sky” quotes or any other quotes related to sun, sunshine such as “**Even on a cloudy day, The sun is shining somewhere**” 18.Stop seeing sunflowers faced at any other direction, except for the east( as they still do it in the night, “hoping sun will return”. Woah! I just realized Sunflowers are **more loyal to sun** then us) 19.Stop using lenses to start fire( assuming  you are a child, or **the legendary Bear Gyrlls**)   So, friends, that’s all I could think of right now. I know some them are pretty lame but I am sure one of them will at least make you smile and you will like it. So, if you do, don’t forget to hit the like and subscribe button. I am going to be honest, I didn’t had anything else in mind except for this idea, so, I thought why not give it a try; Plus, if it went well, I could turn it into a series titled “What if _______ is gone”; Which eventually could be my ticket out of writer’s block   Lastly, I would say that Sun has more importance in our lives, it helps us in more ways they we can think of, and we should be grateful for that. We should we grateful to God for this and all the other blessings.  I will meet you next time. Thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

What is the Right Solution You often have heard people saying(to you or others), No! this isn’t the right way This isn’t the solution  You are doing it wrong. But when you ask, what’s the right way? You get no answer. Why? Maybe because they really don’t have an answer to that, or if they do; they don’t want to share it. Not sure what am I talking about? Well, let me explain using an example Day to Day, we see news of protests all over the world, some are doing it because of injustice, some because of poverty, some due to discrimination and some for securing their religious virtues. [ Note: I am not targeting any specific protest group, it’s purely a general discussion ] All these protests, no matter what the reason, have consequences; Consequences that can be severe at times. Even if the protesters give their word about protesting peacefully, still, this isn’t workable because others (police force and others) will try to stop them from protesting, which will result in conflicts. And now, even if they were protesting peacefully; they would have to use force to protect themselves as well(which eventually means conflict). I am not saying that police or other law enforcement organizations shouldn’t be stopping them; of course, they should; **It’s their job**. And neither am I asking protesters to cut off protests; because it’s not like yesterday they were just having a normal day, and today they are like; **FirstPerson:** Hey man, It’s been a long since we had fun, let’s do something fun. **SecondPerson:** Yeah, I agree. Hey? Let’s get others and go for a protest. It would be fun huh. What say? No! It’s not like that. No one, literally, no one(except for some intentional rebellions) likes protests, riots and conflicts. And if they are doing it, then you better understand that there is a reason behind it, that something is definitely wrong. This could be due to injustice, discrimination, religion and many more. Luckily, protesters clearly show off their demands so you don’t have to waste your time figuring out what they want; In fact, In the meantime, you can think of a possible solution to these situations. As in the case of protests, again, people say, **this isn’t the solution**. And **I completely agree**. But, then again, the problem persists; The question, that was asked in the beginning, “**What is the right solution?**”. Remains there. As I already said, usually you won’t get an answer to that. But if we speak specifically of the “protest issue”, the answer might be Go to court, don’t take the law into your hands Convey your message without disturbing or harming the whole society Something like that...  Now, if you look at these solutions; they seem pretty logical and workable. Right? But, what we don’t acknowledge is that these are ideal solutions. And everyone knows about these solutions. In other words, it’s hard to believe that those who are going the hard way(protesting), haven’t thought of doing that; haven’t thought of visiting a court and requesting their rights, or using other means, say social media, to convey their message peacefully. And, if they are still doing it, then it’s not hard to guess that either **1. They are doing it just for the sake of conflicts**  Or **2. They are not getting their rights met**( Their demands fulfilled). Both cases have different disclosures; 1. If it’s the first case( just for the sake of conflicts), then it better be stopped, because, it’s nothing more than mischievous tactics to harm the country or government’s dignity and reputation. And If it’s the second one( not getting their rights), then government and courts need to check on their system for justice. Because **people are not getting it**. Note: I am not a supporter of protests, never was, never will be. The only thing that bothers me is that in most parts of the world; People don’t get their rights met **legally**, and when they try to get them their own way; **they are declared rebellion.**  So, that’s all for today, I hope you don’t get me wrong and understand what I had in mind while writing this. Thank you so much for being here.

What Am I Doing Wrong **What exactly triggers creativity or writing** That’s a very common and interesting question that comes to everyone’s mind at the start, but, it’s hard to answer because somehow it is different for everyone.  There is no proper way or say "15 push-ups, 15 chin-ups and you are good to go" exercise that will just boost your creativity( however, exercise may help in opening your mind). If you ask any writer, whether he is the author of a number of valuable publications or a few 600-word articles, all would bless you with different strategies and suggestions to get an idea and start off with your writing. Some of them might be generic, others may not; Means that it isn’t necessary that all those tips and suggestions would work for you the same way as they worked for them. **What should I do to trigger my creativity?** Well, the most common answer to this question you might get from others(writers or maybe others) will be “**Find your own way of doing this**” This 7-word sentence might sound pretty simple and seem like no big deal, but you know what they say, “**It’s easier said than done**” That’s what applies here as well. As I said, everyone has their own way, and it takes time to find out what it is. At first, when you start writing, it might seem like you have found your way, and you get the feeling like “Woah, that was easy” but, once you start doing it regularly( not necessarily **daily**) you realize that something is wrong. **Why this happens?** Well, this happens because, whenever you start writing(In fact anything, it doesn’t have to be writing), you are full of motivation and ideas about what are you going to do. And you just start working on those ideas but what you forget while doing that is that those ideas and motivation are usually “**short-term**”, and once you are done with the ideas you already had, it becomes hard to think and decide what your next target is going to be, and you start to get the feeling like if something has changed, something has gone wrong, and worse of them all, you get the feeling that **your creativity** is gone. And trust me, this feeling can be very frustrating and heartbreaking at times. **What’s wrong with me(you)?** (This is also one of the questions which you ask yourself when you can’t think anymore) Honestly speaking, **Nothing**. The only thing wrong that has gone wrong is your “misunderstanding”. Let me explain... As I already mentioned, at the start it might be easy for you but with time it becomes a challenge( **Not denying the fact “Starting is always challenging”, that’s another thing** ); Why? Because, you already have something( some ideas) in your mind, and no matter what strategy you apply, with just a little effort, those ideas are gonna pop up anyway. Which, sometimes, can trick you into thinking that you( just like others) have found the way that suits you. As a result, you tend to stick with that strategy and end up stressing out because that might not be the right strategy for you; After all, it isn’t necessary that “First impression( of something) is the only right impression.” Sometimes there is room for change, and you shouldn’t be afraid to do that. What should I be doing then? Well, keeping in mind that everyone has their own way, still, it’s a great approach to ask a few of them to share their way( experience). Because that way, you can get some **practiced strategies** to start with, and then, if you are lucky, maybe one of them will suit you too, and even if not, still, trying all of them will definitely help you come up with your own. So, GoodLuck with that.  I will see you next time. till then, thank you so much being here.

@DrPsycho

Better take a break than to quit **Better take a break than to quit,** Sounds like just another Mr. Perfecto’s recommendation, Right? Well, trust me, it is much more than that. More than just a piece of advice, it is the motivation. The motivation to keep going and not quitting;  The motivation to keep striving and not giving up unless you succeed. The dedication to keeping the purpose of your life alive. As humans, it is quite normal for us to get bored and frustrated of something we have been doing continuously, regardless of how interesting and fun it used to be;  Once you keep doing it continuously, you start losing interest and fun in it.   **How long it takes to get bored and frustrated of something?** Well, the time it takes you to get bored of something depends on various factors such as; Your interest in it Your level of dedication What "**Something**" is As these factors cannot be the same for everyone, it is hard to guess **when will someone be bored or tired of something.**  The only fact we can guarantee is that, **“If someone is continuously doing something, he is much likely to face frustration and bordem; Sooner or later, it is just a matter of time.** Now that it is clear that you cannot just skip this part(frustration and boredom), let us see what we can do in these situations. **Stop it and take a break:** Yeah, you heard right. Stop doing what you have been doing because that is the real reason for your frustration. Usually, what people do in these situations is that they start going hard on themselves.  **Why do they do that?**  The psyche behind doing this is that when they are frustrated, they cannot imagine looking at that **something**( that has become a nightmare for them) **again**; Hence, they tend to get rid of it as soon as possible.  But, this is not the right way. Because when you are depressed or frustrated, you cannot think clearly, so you are more likely to make more mistakes( even if you are a gold medalist at what you are doing), and those mistakes would not do you any good. In fact, they would only multiply your level of frustration. So, the conclusion is that whenever you have this feeling, Stop everything and divert your mind by relaxing or even doing something else. Or, In other words, **just take a break**. One thing to notice here is that sometimes taking a break does not have to be as complicated as going for a holiday, Sleeping for hours, and so; Sometimes just **not doing** **what bugs you a lot these days** is enough, and you can continue other chores. For example Say, you are a writer( here on read.cash), and you have made it compulsory for yourself to post one article every day;  But, then comes the moment when, you start to get frustrated and lose motivation( not necessarily for a reason, just bored);  What would you do?  Would you try hard to keep up with your goal? or      2. Would you take a break and start when you are fresh I am sure most of you(including me) would say, **Option 2.** But trust me, that's not true.  Sometimes, we get too busy that we do not realize we are putting too much pressure on ourselves; The pressure that eventually gets out of control, and we end up **Quitting;** which is much worse than just taking a harmless **break**.  **Note:** Not that I mean that those who have maintained there pace in posting everyday are doing wrong; if you can do it and you know that you won't end up quitting, then go on, do it. My best wishes are with you.  **Conclusion:**  Don't go hard on yourself. No one knows you better than yourself, so put pressure on yourself only when you think you can handle it. Thanks for reading

Contracting My Own statement part 2 In the last article, I had mentioned that I was trying to work on the second part of "**Contradicting my own statement**" but couldn't do so, So to get rid of this mind blockage, I shared my whole week's story. And, I must say, that helped a lot; My mind is pretty clear now, and I am again willing to write. So, let's finish what we had started, Before we get into the discussion of "**Intentions and Action**", Let me briefly explain what "Intentions" exactly are; **Intention** is a motive, goal, or, in other words, something we are planning to do. It's like a roadmap to perform an action. Anything you do( any action we perform) has an intention behind it. You can't just do something and say, "I had no intention to do that"; It's not possible. Every action has an "intention" behind it. In fact, you can say that "**Intentions**" act as a soul for "**Actions**". Sometimes, You might think that you had no intention of doing something, but the truth is that any action you perform "Willingly" definitely has **an intention** at its backend. **Note:**  Saying " I had no intention to do that" in accidental situations(like car accidents or any other serious issue) is another thing; it has nothing to do with the topic. Those are accidents, not "**Willingly Performed Actions**".   Actions and accidents both are different things. "Actions" are something we can control; Accidents, on the other hand, are something we can't.  So, it's pretty clear that if we can't have control over something, we can't plan to do that either; And that's why there is no point in debating on accidental situations in order to verify whether they were intentional or not( unless they really are pre-planned accidents). Now that we know what intentions are. Let's see how they affect the wrong or righteousness of an action. Nowadays, we humans have lost the ability to see the reason behind something.  We, the present generation, fall into more of a" **Judge a book by its cover**" category.  Or, if I say this, staying in my context; " Nowadays, we mostly depend on the consequences of an action for it to be classified as Right or Wrong; Which, of course, isn't wrong. In fact, it defends the point of "**Utilitarianism**".  [ Utilitarianism is a workable ethical theory that states that  To determine whether the performed action was right or wrong( good or bad). First, look at its consequences. How it affected others?  If the performed action had a positive outcome for most number(of people), it is declared as good or vice versa. ] But, still, consequences aren't the only factor to judge whether the action is "Right" or not; Intentions play a significant role in declaring it as wrong or right as well. Not that I am saying that intentions are the only factor that matter. But, at least, they "**do**" matter. Allow me to explain it in simple words, Imagine someone did something with a good intention, say built a hospital with the "sole intention" of helping the poor. But its construction resulted in the loss of few lives. **How would you classify this action? Was it good or bad?** A. If you classify it based on its consequences, you might say it was "wrong" as it costed precious lives. But then,  If you see the intention behind it, you would say the "action to build a hospital was good, even though everything didn't go as expected, but still, it was the right thing to do. Similarly, imagine someone opens a hotel for tourists in a remote place. But, his intentions aren't just limited to facilitating tourists and earning a legal and rightful profit,  In fact, he also makes a deal with a group of burglars to rob those tourists on their way back and split the profit. But, later, the government buys that hotel from him in order to officially facilitate the tourists and provide them security at affordable cost. Which would benefit both the tourists and government **What about this action? Was it good or bad?** A. Well, if you look at it's outcomes,  You might say that building a hotel at remote place was good action because it would result in facilitating tourists;  which, eventually, would result in attracting more tourists without worrying about a place to stay. Hence, a greater good for both government and visitors. But then, On the other hand, if you will look at the initial intention behind it. You would say that,  "Even though it ended up as a beneficial project, the initial intention at its backend was not good, and hence it was "Wrong action". See? How different factor affect different "Actions" differently. That's what I was talking about  The word "action" might seem pretty simple, but there are lot of other factors affecting it; It's never that easy in practical life to judge something. **Note:**  As I already said, I don't mean to prove that only "Intentions" matter. The sole purpose of this article is to prove that "Intentions DO matter". And saying that "It's only actions that matter, not the intentions" doesn't change. In fact, knowing the fact that **actions change the world not the intentions**, still, we can't deny the fact that intentions play a significant role in any performed action. So, friends, here it comes to an end. I never thought I would be able to write for the next 2-3 days but,  that **last article** really refreshed my mind, and I was able to finish it with just a little effort. I hope this article will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions or anything(at all) for me. Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button if you liked this article( In case you do, do it whenever it comes to your mind, even if it's 2AM lol). Thanks for being here.

Don't read it save your time It's been a week since I last published, and still, I don't feel like writing. It's not that I was out of ideas because I already had an idea in mind while publishing my last article(as it was going to be sequel to that article); It's because I couldn't think clearly. I write something and then erase it. I have been doing this from time to time. And the second reason might be because I was not feeling well since last week. For the first 2-3 days, I tried to wait it out but then, somewhere around 3-4 PM on Thursday, it got out of control and "**unwillingly**", I had to visit a doctor; Doing so, I was "**awarded**" with a few medicines along with a piece of friendly advice to **take some rest;**  To which, of course, I had to say "Yes". Before going for the visit, I was sleepy and all, but after coming back, I was feeling good and energetic( ok, not that "Run-a-marathon energetic" but **energetic**), and I couldn't sleep. So, I decided to lie on the bed with my eyes wide open.  While doing so, I felt like all secrets of the universe were unlocked for me; I could hear the ticking sound of the clock, the buzzing of the mosquitos( yes, it's a harsh reality), and even my heartbeat( ok, exaggerated a bit); At that moment, a lot was going through my mind; it was like my mind was a highway with an enormous crowd of thoughts. A "crowd" which wasn't going anywhere anytime soon;  Anyway, somehow I managed to sneak out of that crowd and returned to my bed, where I could still hear mosquitoes buzzing, but that buzzing was way better than that crowd in my head, so I decided to enjoy the buzzing( which is hard to imagine) and take some rest.  And then I got lost in the dream world. "Next day, when I got up, I was fresh and healthy." ----------------------------------------------------------- That's what you thought. Right? Well, I am afraid the story doesn't end here.  I was still not feeling well. I was better but not enough to be called "Well". I spent some more time lying on my bed, but this time, I had a "lifesaver" on my side; TV; So I can say that the time was well spent( even though I usually don't watch TV but at that time, I was in love with it).  In short, after watching tv, I got better. Anyway, skipping to sunday-- --On sunday, I started writing this article, and I thought I would complete it, but I couldn't, and now It's tuesday, and I have a feeling that if I would not complete it now; It will make me change my first sentence " **It's been a week since I last published.**" to " It's been  **two weeks** since I last published." That's why I am ending it here. END OF THE STORY Today, I won't be saying, "I hope this article will help you in some way." But still, don't forget to gently press the like and subscribe button if you enjoyed this article( more than an article, it's "a week's report"). By the way, I don't expect you to read it anyway; you can skip it if you want, as it was only my way to clear my mind. You might be thinking,  "**What's the point of writing this in the end, now that I have already read the whole story**".  Well, I have made arrangements for that as well. My title would be  " Don't read it", or "you can skip it" something like that. Anyway, if you read it till now, that's so nice of you.  Thank you for being here.

@DrPsycho

Contradicting My Own Statement 1. When your actions contradict your words, **your words don't mean anything** 2. **Action** speaks louder than **words**. 3. Without actions, **your words lose value**. 4. Your **words start to lose value** when your **actions don't match**. No matter what the version( like the above-stated ones), I am sure you must have heard it somewhere regardless of your situation or field( because it applies everywhere(almost everywhere). **What exactly it means?** Well, it's pretty obvious. It means that it doesn't matter how **convincing** or **persuasive** your words are; If your actions aren't there to back them up, eventually, they will be considered nothing more than just random noise. For example;  You( not specifically you) make someone a promise to show up at their birthday party or any other family event, but when the day comes, due to the workload or anything else, it slips out of your mind, and you miss it. After apologizing for not showing up; you promise them( the same person) a dinner to make up to them, but, unfortunately, you miss that too( again, it doesn't matter what caused you to skip it); This action will result in "**them**" losing trust in **you**. And then, no matter how many promises you make, they will only say one thing to you "**Action speaks louder than words**" ( not literally, of course, the words may change; but the meaning will be the same ). Your words are a gift; they hone the power to control the world but can ruin **yours** too if used irresponsibly. So, be careful and only use them where they will be valued instead of just throwing them out. Knowing how to use words in a **convincing** and **trust-building** manner is a rare skill to possess. And it really helps you in short-term relationships,  but, when it comes to long-term relationships, your words(solely) won't be doing you any good unless your actions play their part. In fact, they( the ones you promise) will recognize you as a "**Sweet deceiver**" or a Hypocrite( a person who acts in contradiction to his(or her) stated beliefs or feelings). Anyway, if you look back at the history of the world, you will notice that those were "**Actions**" which changed the world, not the **words**. Having said that, I never meant that words have no value or they play no part in changing the world because, by saying that, I would only be contradicting my own statement I gave above, " **Your words are a gift**; **they hone the power to control the world**"; What I meant to say was that "**Words**" don't directly change the world, "**Actions"** do. In other words, **Words** light the desire for a change; but **Actions** make that desire come true. **Conclusion:**  **Words** and **Actions** depend on each other.  Without **words**, there are no **actions**( because Words raise awareness and motivate others( the "ones" possessing the power) to take action. And similarly,  Without **actions**, there are no **words**(which means that they don't retain their value). We can also conclude this discussion by saying that  "Words are initial steps, and actions are the results". So, my dear friends, here it comes to an end. I am still surprised how I ended up making this a discussion of "**action and words**", even though I had decided to talk about "**actions and intentions**". But, now, I feel that it was also necessary, so I guess we will be continuing on to the second part in the upcoming article.  I hope this article will help you in some way. Do consider liking and subscribing if you liked this article( I used words(**requested**), now it's up to you( **ones** with the power) to take action(like and subscribe)). Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions or anything else you want to add. I would really appreciate you sharing your opinions. Thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

These Two Options will Decide Your Fate Cheer up! A new day is ahead of you. It's a well-known fact that time never remains the same. Sometimes you are happier than ever before. And, it's like everyone is there for you no matter what. You feel like the whole world stands by you. While other times, you feel lonely. ( even being )surrounded by a whole group of people, yet you feel lonely; It's like the entire world has turned against you. As if no one cares about you, your feeling or your emotions. Sometimes it makes you feel like you have lost your purpose; and that you are nothing more than a **liability** to this world. And that depresses you. I know It can be heartbreaking but trust me, you are not alone; we all have been through this feeling of liability and stuff. Even those(people) in the group, **The group** that gives you the feeling of loneliness, have been through this. The only difference is that some face it earlier while others later.  **So, What should I do? How can I prevent this from happening?** Well, firstly, you only need to keep one thing in mind; The thing that it was never about preventing in the first place; you can't just stop yourself from being **happy** or **sad**. Situations do occur, and they always leave an impact on you.  It was always about "how **YOU** respond to these highs and lows";  1. Do you forget everything else when you are happy. And, similarly, lose hope whenever you encounter some depressing situation ahead of you?  Or, 2. Do you stand up with the hope in you that a new and better time(day) will come(Whenever the situation goes wrong). And prepare yourself for the worst whenever you are happy? Whichever of the above option you choose;  **Decide your fate, your future.**  If we conclude the above discussion in a single sentence, it would be " Be prepared for anything".  Because you never know what awaits you in the future. Saying " Be prepared for anything" reminds me of an old story I heard( or maybe read) a while ago; The story is about a king;  Who once asked his advisor to write such an **influential sentence** on his ring( or, in some versions, on a huge paper and hang it on the wall) that whenever he( the king) is **happy** and looks at it, it will make him sad; similarly, whenever he is **sad** and looks at it, it( the same sentence) will make him happy. The advisor(who was very intelligent), at first, got stunned by the king's strange demand. But, later on, he requested some time to think about it. The king was okay with it and granted him three days; but also threatened him that he(the king) will imprison him if he(the advisor) didn't came up with something worthy; The advisor agreed and left. After three days, the "advisor", as he had promised, came to king with a ring and handed it over to the king. The king, while looking at it, got happy and praised the advisor for his intelligence, plus awarded him with lots of gifts.  And, from then, he never took that "ring" off of his hand. By now, you must be thinking, what was on that ring. Right? Well, it was no magic spell. It was just common sense.  It was; "This time will pass by **as well**". Well, of course, it wasn't in English. Plus, I couldn't find the right words for it, **[** Well, I did but they were like "This time will also pass away" or " This time will pass anyway" so I just skipped them. **]**  but  I tried to clearly convey my message to you by using **Bold** for the words I needed special attention on; I hope you will get it. So, friends, here another article comes to an end. I already mentioned that I tried my best to convey the "Right" message. But, if you think that I missed something, don't hesitate to point it out and feel free to use the comment box. I would be more than happy to take all of your suggestions. I hope this article will help you in some way. Don't forget to hit the **like** and **subscribe** button if you liked this article( See? Bold words). Thank you so much for being here.

@DrPsycho

Happiness is something you create " Happiness is something your create." At first, when you read it, it seems like just another inspirational quote or saying. But, when you dig deeper and look into it. You find out that it isn't just a saying; It's a guide, a piece of advice, and most importantly, it is the essence of someone's whole life; Their whole life experience that they summed up in a single sentence for you. These days if you ask someone, what is happiness or when will you be happy? They will give you a few obvious(and typical) answers to this question, for instance; If I get rich. If I become a celebrity If I could do whatever I want. These, along with many more, will be the most common responses you will get from people( no matter where you are from). But, here, the question is that 1 .**Is** everyone in this world rich? **Are** they a celebrity? Or, 3. **Are** they getting whatever they want in their life? Without giving it a second thought, your answer to this would be a **big NO,** followed by another question; The question that if that's so, what's the real happiness, and why does everyone keep giving these(non-true) answers? Well, the answer is quite simple, Now, We( like everything else) have set standards for happiness. In other words, despite the fact that it's just a delusion, we have (intentionally or unintentionally) tricked our minds into thinking that we will be happy if( and only if) we meet these standards. Which, of course, doesn't seem to be true for most of us because, if you look around; you will see lots of people around you who are either **rich,** are **celebrities,** are getting **what they want** or a **combination of three,** but still, arent' happy. While on the other hand, you will see those who don't have any of these( above-stated comforts and facilities) and are hardly capable of earning a living but still are happy and enjoying their lives. Which gives quite an impression that **happiness** isn't that strongly associated with being **famous** or **rich** the way we think it is. In fact, as I said earlier, it's just a delusion. Reading the above para, some of you might get the wrong impression that I am trying to say that those; who are rich and famous **can never** be happy, while those who aren't **can**; If that's the case; I am afraid I'm gonna have to stop you guys there because you got me wrong. What I was only trying to say was that "**Happiness**"(itself) doesn't have to do anything with fame, wealth, poverty or anything else; It totally depends on "**You**". To be more specific: The way you look at things The way you handle situations (And)Your attitude while facing them( the "situations") In simple words If you look at things with a **positive attitude**, no matter how worse the situation is, you are more likely to find positivity in it; which will eventually make you happy. But, On the contrary, if you have negative attitude towards everyting, you willl end up finding negativity in positive situations as well, which , as a result, will upset you and your mind. And will only make you sad. After going through this whole discussion, if we re-read the above quotation to see what it means, " **Happiness is something you create**"**.** It's pretty clear that if you want to You can even turn your small achievements into Happiest moments of your life. And, if you don't, Then, the greatest achievement of your life won't be enough to put a smile on your face. Because, you don't **want** it to happen. **Conclusion:** (At least)Happiness has nothing to do with your riches and social status; It's something every one, no matter how poor or broke they are, can enjoy. Because, it's all about your desire( to be happy) and attitude; In other words, if you possess a desire to be "Happy", **You can be Happy.** So, friends, here, it comes to an end. Don't forget to hit the **like** and **subscribe** button if you liked this article. And feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions or anything else you would like to add. I am always open to suggestions. Thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

Half Empty, Half Filled **" Just go for it"** Before explaining it in terms of my own definition, if I ask you what I meant by saying that? You all will come up with a diverse list of possibilities( possible outcomes), and all of them will be true one way or another.  How and Why? Well, it's simple, everyone thinks differently; everyone's mind works differently; It means that it isn't necessary for others to see things the way you do. Others' perspectives of something might differ from yours. But( keep in mind that) just because your **views** about something or someone are different from others; Doesn't mean one of you definitely has to be wrong. Because even if both of you are denying each other's point of view; There is a possibility that both of you are right( or maybe both are wrong).  Allow me to explain by using an example, Jason was at his friend's place, and he asked him to give him a glass of water, he(Jason's friend) handed him a glass of water, but it was half-filled.  Jason, looking at it, said **it's half-empty.** While he, looking at the same glass, said No! **it is half-filled**.  Well, what do you think? Who was right? Jason or his friend? It's pretty simple, **both of them**.  See? In the above example, both Jason and his friend's views were different, but( both of them) were Right. Both of them were looking at the same thing but from different perspectives.  So, now, if we conclude this whole conversation in a single sentence, it would be , "**Keep yourself open-minded**". In simple words, no matter how different your views and beliefs are from others, don't accuse them of being wrong. In fact, learn to respect them, their beliefs and views. Because as I said in one of my previous articles, " **What goes around, comes around**"; Means that you will get what you sow. If you don't respect others' views and beliefs you will get the same reaction from them as well. That's why the idea to prevent this from happening is to learn to co-exist by keeping our differences aside.  Because, in the end, this world is all we got; Whether we like it or not we have to share it anyway; We need to spend our lives living together( Because we humans are dependent on each other); So, why not spend what's left of our lives living together with love and harmony. Why not respect each other's point of view with an open mind instead of fighting over it? And lastly, why not let others make their own choices? Who are we to decide what's right or wrong for them? To be concise, everyone has a right to live their life their own way, they are free to do whatever they like as long as they aren't disturbing others. And, in case you really think someone is going the wrong way; What you can do is to give them a piece of friendly advice; Other than that you can't do anything.  It's not that you can force them into doing what according to your so-called perspective is acceptable. Never force others to do what you want, even if it is the right thing to do.  With that being said, I don't mean to say that let everyone do what they want, even if it is against the law or altering others' rights; It only means to let them take charge of what's theirs.  Because everyone is not like you, admit the fact. Everyone has their own way of interpreting things. Well, if we look for an example regarding differences among views; The most common example we might come across will be religion; because religion is just another word for "Views and beliefs" the only difference is that those "Views and beliefs" are shared by a whole community. And as there are many religions in the world, more or less every religion differs( In some way) from others, because if they were the same, why would they have a different name and community( followers). Speaking of religion, The first step of being a believer of any religion is to believe that it's the( the religion you are following is the only) right path, but still, no religion allows its followers to abuse others' religion.  So the above para concludes that no religion permits its followers to disrespect others' beliefs and views.  And, If someone is doing it in the name of religion( no matter which religion) he is a liar. A big LAIR.  **Lesson learned:** Never blame any religion for the actions of its followers unless you have proof that they are doing it based on its teaching. Because the explanation that "they are doing that because their religion ( say, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism Or Islam) guides them to do so, is just a trap to get you into hating that specific community.  So, it's better that you better investigate before blaming. **Conclusion:**  Everyone thinks their own way, Respect the fact. Don't impose yourself on others. Let others make their own choices and figure out the right way for themselves. But, of course, that doesn't mean allowing them to be above the law, limits and restrictions. And lastly, as I said, Do thorough research before blaming someone or something( Not just in the case of religion; Everything). So, friends, here it comes to an end. This article got a bit long but I hope you will like it and it will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any questions, suggestions, or anything at all for me. @DrPsycho

Two night stand with Michael Jackson Since Friday, I haven't been able to think about anything to write. Maybe it's just because I am tired(exhausted, to be exact) or because of the same types of topics I've been writing about(even though those topics might seem random, but somehow I know that they aren't). Whatever the reason, right now, I only know one thing; I have to write something. So, for today I'll be using the same old trick many fellow readcashers have been using to refresh their minds and to be more productive in future.  You guessed it right, "Answering random and interesting questions"( not sure if you did, just saying to keep the flow). So, without any further ado, let's start. **1. Write a review of the last movie you saw.**  The last movie I saw about "2 nights ago" was "**2-night stand**". Well, I am not sure what are you going to think of me or my taste hearing it. But the situation I was in since Friday night; It was a life-saver.  Even though it was just another rom-com movie, It had pretty much everything I needed to cheer me up, such as comedy, emotional moments, and (seems typical but) a happy ending. **Will I recommend watching it?**  Well, yeah, of course. It was a pretty good movie. I definitely recommend it.  Honestly, I am not a big fan of such movies; but I must admit that sometimes, I(do) watch them to lighten up my mood.  In my opinion, these simple comedy movies are a great way to help you out of stress. After all, they got their **own genre** for a reason. **2. What was the last piece of media you read, heard, or saw that inspired you?**  They told him, "Don't you ever come around here" "Don't wanna see your face, you better disappear The fire's in their eyes, and their words are really clear So beat it, just beat it. **By: Michael Jackson** Yep, the first few lines of "beat it". That's what inspired me.  I listened to the song yesterday(after a long time);  And, since then It was in my head. Until I got rid of it by using a psychological technique that says that  "If a song gets stuck in your head, think about its ending." And, I must say it helped a lot. **3. What would your best friends say is your best quality? Do you agree?**  They say I don't mind(or get serious) whenever they are taunting(not sure if it's the right word) or making fun of me.  Not that surprising? Well, that's the only quality I could think of them mentioning. Moving to the second part of question, **Do you agree?** Ans: Yes and No.  **Yes**, because I don't get serious when my friends are teasing me because when it's my turn,  Usually, I do the same as well.  And,  **No,** because Like everyone else, I have got triggers too. It's just that my friends haven't been able to pull them yet. Usually, I try to avoid getting into harsh situations with friends because they are the only ones with whom I can share everything. And I can't afford to lose them just over a silly joke or something.  **4. What would you be doing right now if you were five years older?** Well, whatever it is, it's definitely not "writing this article". Lol. **5. If you could have three wishes, what would your wishes be?** Same as everyone else. I want to be rich. I want to be happy. I want **three** more wishes. Simple as that **6.What was your most recent lie** Well, as I said at the start, "I couldn't think of any ideas since Friday". Actually, I did came up with an idea or two (**Guilty!**)  but,  I was too lazy to write about them.  So, friends, here it comes to an end. Along with not being able to writing anything(or, as I confessed, intentionally not writing anything), there was another reason behind writing it; I wanted to try something new.  Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe if you liked this article. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, punishments( for lying, lol) or anything for me. Thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

Sounds too good to be true? Even though being kind and generous to everyone is a desirable trait to have in you; still, sometimes it's better to change the strategy. To let others have a taste of their own medicine.  In simple words, to adopt a mirror personality.  **What is a "Mirror Personality"?** Well, despite the fact that it is pretty clear from its "name"; still, some of you might confuse it with another term called "**Mirroring**".  Well, mind that both terms might sound the same, but in reality, they aren't. Allow me to explain. **Mirroring**, in simple words, means copying others; Copying in terms of gestures, movements and maybe the speech. **Why do we do that?** According to psychology, it is a behaviour that we **unconsciously** exhibit while interacting with others;  but, sometimes,  it can also be used as an **intentional** technique to boost the trust relationship between you and the subject(the person you are mirroring). Because research shows that this kind of behaviour helps foster trust and relationships. Moving toward the "**Mirror Personality**" Due to frequently used keywords on google, if you search this term, you will find the exact definition as I did for "**Mirroring**"( to mimic someone).  But mirror personality(at least according to me) is different. It means to treat others the way they treat you.   Or, as I said earlier,  **"To give them a taste of their own medicine"**.  Well, to this point, this **idiomatic metaphor(**deep. Isn't it, Well, I was going to say **quote**, but that's what I found on google. lol**)** might give you negative vibes due to its frequent usage in a negative sense. But, it doesn't need to be negative all the time; sometimes, it can also be positive. In simple words, adopting a mirror personality doesn't mean you will lose your generosity. It is only an advanced strategy to let other people realize how their words and actions affect you(those actions can be negative or positive, your job is to deliver the same as you receive). Which one is better **Generous personality** or **Mirror Personality**? Well, generous personalities are always in demand because these people are always there for you, no matter how hard you go on them.  For example, **your parents,** No matter how rude you are to your parents(which shouldn't be happening), still whenever you get in the slightest trouble and are in need of help, they can't bear to sit back there and do nothing. Similarly, your generous(and genuine) friends possess the same traits. But along with pros, there are cons.  Even being the most acceptable category still, generous people struggle a lot in this world. Why? Because they are selfless souls; they don't think about themselves,  And, due to their kind nature, they are often misused and are deprived of their "Rights". Having a **mirror personality** is considered more of a practical; trait. Because In our world, "generosity" is often taken for granted. So, In these circumstances, it is better to let others pay the price for their actions( Saying again, it can be **good** as well). In my opinion, for this era, the "Mirror personality" **is the** generous personality.  Because, now, we live in a world where being too good can also be harmful to you. So, basically, we can conclude that In the present situation being a **Mirror-er**( that's not even a word) is an ideal option for you. **Conclusion:** **It is better to let others have a taste of their own medicine, but this medicine doesn't have to be bitter in every case**. Be generous, but don't let others take advantage of you.  Caring for others is a desirable quality, but that doesn't mean that you will have to be too selfless to even lose your own rights. So, friends, here it comes to an end. I hardly managed to sum it up. But tried my best to make it as simple as possible for you. Hope you will like it. **How I got this idea?** Well, I have a friend and he is a very approachable kind of guy, I mean everyone likes to spend some time with him, it's like he shares interests with everyone. In short, everyone feels like they both are on the same page(whenever having a discussion). One day we are together and I mentioned the point I noticed and asked how do you manage to do this?  He replied by saying that His father had advised him that "**Treat everyone the way they treat you**" simple as that. Sounds too good to be true? Well, it is true, trust me. I hope this article will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions, or anything else to say. And lastly don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button if you liked this article(Show some generosity, after all, you read the whole article on **Generosity**). I will meet you next time, till then have a good day( and of course "good night"). Thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

What goes around comes around In the struggle to get our rights right, sometimes we accidentally( or maybe intentionally) deprive others of their rights by thinking that what we are doing is right and it's our right. Pretty confusing. Isn't it?  Well, recently, I read an article( of course here, on read.cash) which says that keeping your language simple is good because it keeps your readers engaged;  but,  sometimes, giving your readers a challenge is also important; otherwise, they will lose interest; That's why I was inspired to make the above statement (a bit)confusing.  Okay I think that's enough Enough of the background. Let's move toward the topic. "**In the struggle to get our rights right, sometimes we accidentally( or maybe intentionally) deprive others of their rights by thinking that what we are doing is right and it's our right.**" What I meant by saying that was that All of us, humans, have our rights, and in case we aren't getting them, we own a right to fight for them.  But, sometimes, while struggling and fighting for our own rights, eventually, we violate others'.  **Why and How?**  Well, basically, that's because of our lack of information and understanding. Let me explain it. Certain rights aren't as simple as the right to health, life and education; Some have certain limits and conditions; The conditions that, if not met, turn the fight for **our rights** into deprival of **others'**. You must be wondering, **"Certain Rights?".** What exactly are they? Well, I got an example to answer that, Or you can say that it's the real **Starting point** of today's topic. **Freedom of Speech**, the right to express one's thoughts and ideas freely, is one of the most significant rights of humans. Because everyone( no matter their race, color, or the country) has a right to express themselves.  But,  Staying within the limits of this right while doing this is the most significant part; Because even the slightest mistake can cause misuse of this **right**. **How?** The right to "Freedom of speech" might seem straightforward; In reality, it isn't. While expressing your opinion, you must keep in your mind not to hurt others' feelings. You must be thinking that, Freedom of speech means to express your opinion freely, which eventually means that "your opinion" will definitely differ from others at some point. Then if that's the case, how can I make this work without hurting (if not all, some)others feeling.  Right? If that's the question, let me clarify it for you. There is a **fine line** between expressing your opinion and violating others'. Or, If I rephrase it, There is a **fine line** between differing from others and hurting others. Saying that what I mean is that  It isn't necessarily important that two people having different opinions will definitely end up hurting each other's feelings; In fact, there is a chance that both can co-exist happily۔ Unless one tries to violate the other's rights in the name of "**Freedom of speech**". Let me explain it using an example; Suppose there is an employee in your company whom you don't like, and one day you visit him and his family and start insulting him under the banner of "**Freedom of Speech**".  Answer these questions, How do you expect it to be considered Right? What if the same situation happens to you? Will you ever allow it? Of course, the answer will be a big "**NO**";  Right? Then, if you can't afford your feelings to be hurt, then don't hurt others' feelings as well under the so-called impression of "Freedom of Speech". The same applies at the Religious level as well. We can't tolerate others insulting or mocking our religion, but when it's comes to us, we are also doing the same. So, basically, the moral principle "**What goes around comes around**" applies here as well. **Conclusion:** Freedom of speech is a fundamental right to every human. But, we must keep in mind that it must never be misused. And the fact that it has **certain** limitations. After all you must have heard the famous dialogue by Spiderman's Uncle ben, "**With great Power Comes Great Responsibility**". Well, it turns out it isn't just a dialogue. So, friends, here it comes to an end. I hope this article will help you in some way. Hit the like and subscribe button if you liked this article. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions or anything at all for me(after all, you got **"Freedom of speech"**) And yeah, the article I mentioned at the start of this article,  it was  **Simplicity** by user **@wabinab**. Saying, Advice or a Warning **Think before you speak** At least once in your life, You must have heard this "sentence"; Doesn't matter whether it was in the form of a **saying**, **advice** or maybe a **warning**; The point is that you heard it. Right? But, Have you ever wondered  why it's that important?  What difference could it make? Or How it affects your( and others') lives. Well, let's start today's topic and see. Even though we, humans, are the only species that possess the ability to talk( I know some animals also have somewhat the same capability, but it's not like humans), still we don't realize what power God has gifted us. What power do our words possess? Sometimes(not sure if you can relate), when we look at different types of animals and their abilities( some are strong, some are fast), we start thinking; Thinking that what specialties do we have to stay in the competition? What do we have that others don't? And often,  we end up with nothing in our account, as neither we are strong; nor fast.  But, at this point we fail to realize that despite the power and speed other animals possess, we, humans, are the dominant species on this planet. And, why is that? Because we have the ability to think, reason, solve complex problems and most important of them( all), we have more communication skills than any other species( not because we have a degree, but because we are gifted(with the power of speech)). I know some of you might say that other animals can also communicate effectively; it's just that we can't understand it.  Well, no doubt, that's true, and that's why I included other factors along with it.  But,  that's true as well that  Even though they have the ability to communicate, still, they can't have complex conversations. While we, on the other hand, using our power of speech, combined with other factors, can glide over the heights of success no "hawk" or "eagle" could ever imagine. Coming to the topic, Sorry, I got lost in the conversation. Even though there is no match for the power we possess, what's the point of the power; you can't even control? The power; you can't master. Power(of any type) becomes destructive when it comes to the hands of immature or wrong people.  In other words, the power becomes useless( sometimes even harmful) if you can't control it. Now to speak in the context of my topic, Your "**Words**" can either make one's life or can ruin others'. But, remember, words(as I said in one of my last articles) themselves are nothing. It's we who make them valuable, effective or useless.  Sometimes we say things that we are not supposed to say, and we realize that after we have said it or when someone else points it out.  What we don't keep in mind while doing this is that Words reveal us Our "words" can offend(or hurt) someone. Sometimes we can be wrong. 1. **Words reveal us**         There is a saying( I couldn't find it in English, so I will try to explain it in my own words). I hope you will understand. "**No one knows what storm you have in you unless you speak**". It means that your qualities, capabilities and weaknesses; all remain hidden unless you reveal them through your words. More simply, as soon as you start talking, you reveal your personality and secrets( your abilities and weaknesses). 2. **Your words can offend someone** All humans are different; all have distinct capabilities and insecurities. That's why it's necessary to keep others in mind before saying anything( when others are around). 3. **We can be wrong** Another reason we are supposed to think before we speak is that  we might be wrong**.**  So, instead of insulting ourselves by speaking up. It's better to be quiet.  **Conclusion:** Well, from the above discussion, it's safe to say that We are more vulnerable while speaking, And that's why it is better to be quiet. But, being silent doesn't mean you are not supposed to speak up even when needed; It means avoiding unnecessary bluffing. So, friends, here it comes to an end. I know this article got a bit long, but still, it misses most of the things I had in mind while starting it. But now I realize that it's enough for now.  I hope this article will help you in some way. Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button if you liked this article. Feel free to use the comment if got any suggestions, questions or anything interesting for me. Thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

Sometimes you have to break your way out of it There comes a moment in our life( in all of our lives) when we start questioning ourselves. Questions like,  If God, our creator, exists, then why?  Why are we continuously in pain? Why can't everything be just fine? Why are we facing such difficulties? Does God have any idea of what we are going through? And, if yes, then why is he ignoring us. These; and many more questions like these always take over our minds whenever we are going through hard times. And can be frustrating at times. Now here, a question arises that  why this happens and how to overcome these kinds of situations. Well, that's what is going to be our topic for today.  So, let's Start, Difficulties, whether we like them or not, are part of our life;  No matter how much we try to avoid them, In the end, they will find us one way or another.  In other words, we can't stop them. What we can do is to face them patiently and keep hoping for the best. Coming towards the part "**why we face difficulties?**". Ans: Well, if you have a closer look at the world, you will see that everything in this world has its opposite. For instance, Day for the night, Good for the bad, Sadness for the happiness, and similarly, suffering for the joy.  And without one, the other loses its significance; That's why to have joy and happiness in your life, you will have to suffer and face difficulties as well. But remember, they aren't there to break you apart; they are there to enhance the intensity of joy and happiness you will have. In simple words, what I mean to say is that; You won't value joy and happiness the way you should unless you face difficulties and hardships achieving it. Now, if we conclude our discussion, till this point, it would be  that difficulties, suffering and pain aren't just there to depress, discourage or demotivate you; All of these play a significant role in making you strong. Strong enough to face anything that comes your way. Moving towards the next part  **Does God exist? And does he have any idea of what we are going through? And, if yes, then why is he ignoring us.** Well, Calling him God means you believe that there exists a creator, and he knows what's going on with you; If that's the case,  then questioning his existence doesn't make sense.  **And**  if you don't believe in his existence,  then you shouldn't be calling him God in the first place. *I know,*  *I know* this so-called philosophy(explained above) isn't making sense right now, but, Let me clarify it. I remember mentioning in one of my last articles( and if I didn't; Well, I am doing it now) that just because you are going through hard times doesn't mean God isn't there or is ignoring you. Think of it as maybe if he is testing you and wants you to make your way out of it( by yourself).  In other words, if you know God is there, then it's better to be patient and have faith that he knows what to do; Instead of questioning his very existence. Questioning and panicking whenever you encounter some problem expresses your weak personality and nature. So, try not to do that. Basically, this part of the article is "pretty much" the same as was one of my previous articles, "**Have some faith**". You can visit it here. https://read.cash/@DrPsycho/have-some-faith-5e1ca1ac **Conclusion:** Difficulties and suffering are part of our life. They teach us not to take anything for granted. Because anything we face(or go through) in this world has a purpose; maybe it isn't crystal clear at that very moment;  but, later on, when you think about it, You realize the "**true**" value and significance of your achievements. And as for the second part, If you believe there exists a God; then be patient, have faith in him; and try not to question him or his existence because it (kind of ) beats the whole concept of "Believing(faith). So, friends, here it comes to an end.  And, As usual, till the end, I wasn't sure where was I going and how was I going to conclude the whole conversation. But just by "Believing", I managed to end this endless stream of words. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions, ideas( I could really use some) or anything at all. Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button if you liked this article, and even if you didn't, still, it isn't going to cost you anything just do it(lol). And lastly, I know this article got a bit long, but if you are still here, Thank you so much for your generosity. Thanks for being here

@DrPsycho

You will never get out of it alive. Sometimes, living in a Dream world is a good thing. Two types of people exist in this world Dreamers Realists "**Dreamers**" are the people who spend more time in the Dreamworld than in the real world. No matter what consequences, issues and problems they are going through in the real world, They love dreaming and never stop doing it.  They always have this concept of the "Ideal world" in their minds, and they keep hoping that, in the end, everything will be fine no matter what. While **"Realists",** on the other hand, are the ones who tend to believe in "What is" than to assume( or believe in) "What could or can be". No such word as "I wish" or " If I could" exists in their dictionary. They usually don't believe in Ideal worlds, nor do they have high expectations about anything. Because they think that if you can't have something, Why waste your time dreaming about it? In simple words, realists have a simple formula to live with, and that is **The Reality is Reality.** They believe that Reality, no matter how bad it is, is the only thing that matters.  Now that I have briefly explained both types, let's see which one is better and has more perks. Well, actually, we can't just deny one type for the other based on a few factors because people of both types exist, and both have their roles in this world, and without the one, the other cannot survive. Imagine, if the dreamers take over the world; We will only be counting on our expectations, dreams, and (sometimes)unrealistic goals, without even realizing our real potential, resources and capabilities. While  On the other hand, If the realists took over the world. They will never try to improve and excel. Because, according to them, it would be useless. And eventually will lose the purpose of being a human. Without dreamers, realists will never learn to think out of the box. So, basically, the sole purpose of this comparison is to open your minds and not turn you against those who see the world differently. Dreamers, thanks to their curiosity, interest and high expectations, are usually the category involved in most of the inventions and discoveries around the world. They don't care about the limitations of the real world. The only thing they have in mind is their goals. Realists don't usually set high goals because they know they can't achieve them. If we see the world the way they see it, their realistic nature makes sense.  Because we, humans, live in a world where even getting your basic needs met is a big challenge. And, in a critical survival situation like this, where you hardly get your basic needs met, how can you even imagine-- getting your high goals achieved. When you already have so much to handle. In light of the above para, we can further divide realists into two types. Those who are realists, no matter what the situation is. Those who have a dreamer in them; but, due to the unfavorable circumstances, are forced to become a realist. So it is clear that sometimes it's not in your control to choose whether to be a realist or a dreamer. Coming to the point; I mentioned at the very start of this article, **Sometimes, living in a Dream world is a good thing.** Hardships are part of life; you will face them no matter what you do because you don't have a choice. Life is going to be as it is. So, if we don't have a choice, why waste our time worrying about it. Why not spend our time enjoying it; by hoping that everything will be fine. In simple words, by dreaming. Well, I realize that this is the perfect point to quote  **Elbert Hubbard**.  As he says "**Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive**". As I said, if we don't have a choice, why cry over it? Why not enjoy it. **Conclusion:** Dreaming can make you excel in life, but realisticity can help you control yourself(to know your limits). So, it's better to stay between both ends, To keep the balance. So, friends, here it comes to an end.  I hope this article will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions or anything for me. Because, believe it or not, your single comment means more to me than a 100$ tip( Yeah yeah, exaggerated a bit, but you get the point).  Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button if you liked this article. Words themselves are nothing "**Before you try to convince anyone else, be sure you are convinced, and if you cannot convince yourself, drop the subject.**"                                                                   **By: Jhon Henry Patterson** Of course, he wasn't the first to say that, but I couldn't find anything but his words expressing my "today's topic", so I quoted him.  Now that I have explained why I quoted him; let's start our discussion and see what it means, **Before you try to convince anyone else, be sure you are convinced, and if you cannot convince yourself, drop the subject.** In other words, if you can't even convince yourself of(or to do) something, you can't convince others of ( or to do) that either.  Because Once you, by your heart, are convinced of something, your mind knows it and makes it easy for you to explain it by making your **words** and **tone** more persuasive than usual, Which comes in handy while convincing others.  While on the other hand, if you aren't doing something by yourself but want others to do so, I am afraid you will have to face disappointment because if you, yourself, aren't ok with something, then your words will also lose the power of persuasion.  Because REMEMBER, **Words themselves are nothing, it is your emotions, feelings and expressions that empower them.** Let me explain it using an example. Suppose you are a lie-detecting expert, and you got two cases(two liars), and your mission is to find out which one is lying and which one isn't. ( Here, one thing you aren't informed about is that, in reality, both of them are liars. But, it is up to your skills and expertise to figure that out). Another twist in the story is that,  Both of them are indeed liars,  but, both of them have very different mindsets. **The first one** is lying and knows that he's lying. But, he wants others to believe that he is speaking the truth.  **The second one** is also lying, but he has no idea about it. He is convinced that what he knows is true and wants others to believe it. In the first scenario, when you will be facing the first accused victim, it won't take you long to figure out that he is a liar(even if he is expert enough to hide his expressions). While In the second scenario, there are chances that you may never find out that he was lying until you are informed. Because, according to him, he isn't lying anyway. **[ I know, I know it was a bit strange example, but I couldn't think of any other, so I just made that up ]** Now, If we give this topic a religious touch, this quotation applies there as well. For example Suppose there is a religious influencer( teacher or instructor); who keeps instructing his( same religion) people to do the good deeds but has no interest in doing that himself.  Now, if that's the case, No matter how hard he tries, he will never be able to convince his people. Why? Because he, himself, isn't convinced about it. **Conclusion:** Don't expect others to do what you can't do yourself. Unless you don't add your sincere emotions and feelings to your words, your words are nothing but just a random noise coming out of your mouth. So, friends, here it comes to an end. Honestly, I chose this topic at the last moment, so there are chances that I might have missed something, so if you feel like it, you are welcome to contribute to it. **Why I chose it at the last moment?** The reason is the **quotation** discussed(again and again) in the whole article. I had at least two other ideas in mind, and I already had started working on them. but, as I said, I wasn't convinced about doing so. So, I left them. And from there, I got the idea of this topic. And then somehow I finished it.  I hope this article will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions or anything for me. Too busy to realize that Life is too short. And yet, We are too busy to realize that.  You never know what awaits you in the future. There you are, planning a trip for the next week with your friends and, there, within a blink of an eye, they are gone. That's how long it takes for it to happen. For half of our lives, we keep trying to excel and achieve what we haven't yet, while, as for the other half, usually, we spend it crying over the wrong decisions we made in the past. Which eventually leads us to forget the most meaningful part of our life; **The Present**. While regretting the past and worrying about the future, we usually forget to live the present, to live the moment we still have. And that's why life seems to be too short for us. What we need to do is to learn to "Enjoy the moment". Because if we don't; soon, it will also become the past, adding up as another item in our "**Regret List**". And that list will keep growing until we learn to do so. So it's better that we do. **What stops us from doing so? And why is it important?** Well, some people think that the idea of "Enjoying the moment" is a total waste of time, and that's why they don't bother taking a break and keep working hard for the future.  Working hard for the betterment of the future is a good thing. But sacrificing the Present moment for the future, The future that might not even exist can be regretful. So it is better to **live the moment** while **planning for the future** rather than regretting it later. Most of the problems that the human race is facing these days are because we have forgotten something inevitable, something which has no stopping; **Death**.  We, humans, have forgotten that no matter how hard we try, how wealthy we are, how many guards we have or what status we have in society, We are gonna die in the end anyway. Sooner or Later, It's just a matter of time, Just a short life to live.  So, If we have a short life, then why? Why ruin it for something as useless as hatred, jealousy or revenge? Or for any kind of negativity. Why can't we just live with peace and harmony? Why some of us have to be so cruel?  The answer is simple, **Ignorance**.  Ignorance that everything is going to be the same as it is today. One thing I forgot to mention above that Even though for most of us, life can seem too short; but, for others, It can be an endless nightmare as well.  This category usually includes those people who have been through a lot, who have suffered a lot.  For those, still, I would say that whatever you have been through, try(even though it can be challenging) to overcome it and enjoy what you have now, now that you have survived. **Conclusion:** You get to live once, so live it as you like it. Do not ruin it for something useless.  Don't miss any opportunity, because you might not get another chance. So, friends, here it comes to an end. I know this article has gotten a bit dark but bare with it. As it is reality, I had to write about it. Some of you might feel depressed after reading it. For those, I only have one thing to say. "**Don't, Because I didn't**". The purpose of this article was  To teach you to live the moment, not to fear death. I hope this article will help you in some way. Hit the like and subscribe button if you like this article **because you might not get another chance**( lol, just joking).  Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions, or anything for me.  Thanks for being here.

Have some faith I had to go through 3 to 4 motivational articles to start writing this article. Because, since yesterday, even after trying my best, I wasn't able to write anything(Well, I did write a few lines, but they weren't enough).  Well, if things had gone my way, I would already have published this article by yesterday. But you can never tell what plans God has planned for you. Even if your plans are perfect, still they have no chance against God's plans. And that's what today's topic is all about. "Our plans vs God's plans". [  Some of you guys might think that I made the whole(not being able to write) story up. But trust me, I literally had to go through 3 articles to feel motivated enough to write. ] Moving on to the topic **Our plans VS God's plans** Planning is a good approach to achieve your goals. In fact, It is one of the foremost factors involved in our success.  As humans, It's in our nature to, consciously or subconsciously, plan for the upcoming events and situations regardless of their nature, importance and intensity. Because it helps us prevent uncertainty and prepare for the possible problems we might face. But, Sometimes, In this never-ending struggle of making perfect plans( for achieving high goals) we overlook a fact; The fact that there is another **Power** that has a great influence( in fact, control) over us and our plans; **God.** Planning indeed increases our chances of being successful, but there isn't a law which says that you will definitely succeed if you have a perfect plan.  We never know what God has planned for us, neither do we keep the fact in our account(mind) that we aren't the only ones making plans, which leads us(especially the new generation) to disappointment whenever things go unsuspected. We must know that we can never go against God's plans, what we can do is "**Hope for the best and forget the rest**", In other words, To hope that things will go as planned but be ready for anything as well. Another thing is that sometimes what we think went wrong, actually proves to be good for us because God knows what's better for us. In simple words, It can sometimes be interpreted as "Blessing in disguise" situation. Here,I have a feeling that the above para might be confusing you, let me explain it by an example; Suppose you had a flight at exactly 10:00AM but due to some reason you missed it(even though you had planned not to). But later you were informed that unfortunately, the plane crashed. Hearing this you couldn't bare but thank God for saving your life.  That's what I meant. That sometimes it isn't necessary that what you "**think**" is right for you is actually right for you as well. Sometimes it's better to have some faith Instead of complaining and losing hope.  **Conclusion:** Don't get demotivated if something goes wrong just remember to "Give your best and forget the rest".  Keep trying for the better but be ready for anything.  Never lose hope, Never lose faith.  So, friends, Here it comes to an end.  I had came across a pic on Pinterest which said "God's plan vs Your plan" and from that moment on I knew I had to write about this but wasn't able to till now. But now finally I managed to complete it. I hope this article will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions, (and as I mentioned in my last article) jokes, or anything at all for me.  Hit the Like and subscribe button if you liked this article.  Thanks for being here.

Times have changed, Priorities have changed **What do you "want" most in life?** Well, you will get distinct and surprising answers to this question if you ask people; Whether those people are of the same group(same age, religion or country) or different. There are chances that people living in the same house(even the same room) may have distinct demands as everyone thinks differently. The most common answers to this question would be 1. **money**(lots of money)  2. **luxurious life**.  Some may also say **Love**( this category might already have the above-stated perks); These, along with many others, are the popular answers you might get from people. And when you ask another question **What do you "need" most in life?** Most likely, they would give you the same answers as in the above question without even noticing the difference.  Why? Because we have confused both the terms **need** and **want**. Before moving on let me explain both the terms briefly. **Need,** according to the definition, is something that we require for living. While **Want** on the other hand is something that we desire( to make our life better) but we don't require it for keeping us alive. Now that we are done with definitions let's start our discussion; A few years back, the main objective of everything we had done was "need". But now, **the priorities have changed**. Even if we are getting what we "need", we want more, and we keep struggling for it. And that doesn't end here; Once we have achieved what we wanted the most, we start striving for more and more, and eventually, it turns into an infinite loop(keeps on repeating). With that being said, I did not mean that wanting something or struggling for something **better** is wrong.  In fact, **Want** is one of the foremost factors we require for achieving something, because, if we don't have a desire for something how are we going to get it?  Moving on further, **Law of Attraction** is also all about desiring and wanting. Speaking of Law of Attraction, It states that positive thinking results in positive outcomes while negative thinking have negative results. In simple words, It's kind of "**you get what you wish for**" story. Means that, if you want good results, have positive thoughts in your mind(In other words, keep desiring for it). So from the above discussion we can safely say that wanting or desiring for better in good for you. But, wanting more and more without even being thankful for what you have that's what causes problems. Now if you take a look at our world, you will see that there are 2 kinds of people who are continuously struggling in life. Those who are not even getting their basic needs met. Those who have everything they **need** but are struggling for more. Again, The purpose of this article is not killing the desire for better; It is a desireable trait. Trying to get better is the only thing that keeps motivating you. Because once you lose the desire for betterment and just settle down on one spot. You lose the whole adventure, the fun, the joy and most importantly the whole purpose of your life. **Conclusion:**  Learn to differentiate between necessity and luxury. Be grateful for what you have instead of crying over what you don't.  And, of course keep trying for the better but don't let this motivation overpower you. In short, Be moderate. So, friends, here it comes to an end. Even though I tried my best to keep it linked, you guys might find this article a bit sudden topic shift, that's because I had a few ideas in my mind while writing so there is a chance they got mixed up. In case you didn't noticed anything like that, that's good for me. I just shared what I felt(maybe I am wrong). I hope this article will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any questions, suggestions for me. Even if you have got a joke to tell I won't mind that either. In fact, It would be good for both of us. Because these days nothing is more worthy than a good laugh. Hit the **like** and **subscribe** button if you liked this article. Thanks for being here.

What will they think of me No matter where you belong to, we all face this situation at some point when we start thinking about others instead of being ourselves, and our minds get flooded with depressing questions like; What will they say What will they think of me? Will it be ok to do this  These, along with many others, are the questions that make us question ourselves(even if we are doing the right thing). Well, I am sure if I ask you guys, most of you, with just a little effort, will be able to recall situations where you stopped yourself from doing something **good** just because of the fear that others will perceive you as a "**show off**" or something. Well, that's what happens when you keep thinking about others( what will they say) more than usual. Having said that; I am not implying that thinking what others will think or say is wrong; In fact, sometimes, it really helps you out when you are in a situation you are not sure about what to do. Because, as humans, we are not perfect, we are always in need of advice and suggestions to help us out, but turning this "**need**" into "**dependency**", that is what makes things worse.  Needing others(to give you suggestions) isn't wrong; that's the whole purpose we humans, live in societies; because we need each other. But, ignoring what we want just because of what others will say; is. I have got a story as an example to show you what happens when you blindly keep thinking and doing what others say without even reviewing it. So let's start  **Note:** This story wasn't in English in the first place. But, I translated it in my own words because it was defending my point. Please ignore any translation mistakes. Long before, when there were no vehicles and aircraft etc. People used to travel on foot or animals like horses, camels (and in some cases) donkeys. This story is also about those times. **Story:** This story is about a father and son who had to travel a long way to reach their destination, and there were about three villages to come in their way. And the only ride they had was a donkey, so they started their journey.  Till their first stop(**village-1**), both of them were riding on the donkey but, when they reached the village; The villagers started criticizing them, saying that;  "Why both of you are riding on the poor donkey; don't you care about the burden it is carrying? " This criticism made them feel guilty, and the father got off the donkey. And, when they left the village, the **son** was riding the donkey, and the **father** was walking by it. They kept travelling in this position till they reached their second stop(**village-2**), But when they reached there. The criticism, all in its glory, was there to welcome.  And again, the people(of village-2) criticized the **son** by saying that;  "Why are you riding, but your father is walking? Don't you have respect for your father?" This criticism made the son feel guilty; he got off the donkey and asked his father to ride the donkey.  And this time, when they left, the **father** was riding the donkey while the **son** was walking by it. They maintained the same position till their final stop(**Village-3**), And this time, they were expecting a warm welcome from the villagers because they had corrected every criticism made on them.  But, you never know what gifts life has got for you. Unexpectedly, again, people there had a reason to criticize them. This time, they criticized the **father** by saying that; "How can you be so cruel that your poor son is walking by the donkey, and you are riding on it?" After this criticism, both the **son** and the **father** travelled the whole way, walking with the donkey till they reached their destination. And here, the story ends with a nice moral.  Well, when I read this story, the only thing that came to my mind was that; "They were lucky to have only three villages in their way instead of four or more; because if there were, they might have been carrying the donkey on their backs till their destination. " **Coming back to the discussion;** I am sure you liked the story and got a lesson from it.  People don't know you, neither they have an idea of what you have been through or what are your intentions towards a specific action. They only advise or criticize you based on their observations,  So, they can be right,  but can be wrong as well.  **Conclusion:**  Never ignore what others say; take all of their suggestions into your account. **But the last call should be yours**; Because you are the one who's going to face the consequences of your decisions. So, here it comes to an end.  I hope this article will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions or anything for me. Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button if you liked this article. Again, I am just suggesting, REMEMBER! **"The last call is always yours".** Thanks for being here.

It isn't just a Saying Since yesterday morning, even after trying my best, I haven't been able to write anything. That's because the past week had been pretty busy and exhausting. Which led me to inactivity. But, now I had to do something as my inactivity here has been more than usual (more than 3 days). So, here I am, going to write about a topic which had been in my mind for a few days, but I wasn't sure how to start.  It's "**Paper and pen can't be replaced**".  Well, I am pretty sure that most of you have already guessed what this is about. And that's only because of my simple and  to-the-point "**title**", and for that, I deserve a pat on my back( just joking). So let's start Even though it is the 21st century, which is also referred to as the digital age. Yet, there are many things that it cannot replace. One of which we are going to discuss in this article. Yeah, you guessed it right, it's "Paper and Pen". "Paper and Pen" have been around for centuries.  As soon as humans felt the need to save(store) their thoughts and ideas, they invented pen and paper. Since then, paper and pen have been used as primary tools for writing and have existed in different forms. Even today, when many digital tools like notepad are available for the same purpose, they haven't lost their significance.  The reason why they haven't lost their significance are; **1. Connection:**  One of the reasons that we can't just ignore them is our connection to them. For centuries paper and pen have been the only tools for writing, and that's why, consciously or subconsciously, they have become part of us. And it's hard to just simply stop using them. It's like they remind us of our ancestors( ok, exaggerated a bit). **2. Effective for brainstorming and creative thinking:** Not saying that it is a fact, but based on my personal experience, it's reality( at least, for me). Writing on paper can make you think of more ideas than you ever can. Not sure how it works, but somehow it does. It's like our mind thinks more when we are writing. If you ask me why is it like that,  I would recall the above point, "**Connection".** The fact that generations of humans have been using it. It naturally has become a habit. In other words, It gives us the feeling of comfort, which helps us think more. And as a result, we come up as more creative than usual. **3. Makes you feel relaxed:** No matter how easy and comfortable they become, digital notepads are no match for the relaxing and sweet scent of pen and paper. Yeah, I know; sounds pretty poetic. But, technically, using pen and paper do make us feel relaxed and comfortable, and that's because of the pressure points we have in our fingers. **4. Makes us remember things:** Most of you would agree that writing takes more time than typing. Well, turns out it's good for us. It is a fact that we remember things much better when we write with pen and paper than we do while writing using computers.  **Conclusion:**  I am not asking you to choose writing over typing; I just want to say that both have their own significance, which we must never ignore. The digital age has changed our lives drastically; we can't even imagine a day without the technology we are using today. It's all over the world. But, still, some things, even being old, haven't lost their importance. In other words, the old saying "old is gold" isn't just a saying. So, friends, here it comes to an end.  Honestly, While starting it, I was planning on just writing about my past week's experiences, as I had nothing in mind because I was exhausted. But then, this idea popped into my mind, and I thought it's better to write something worth reading instead of my boring stories. So I did. I hope this article will help you in some way. Feel free to use the comment box if you got any suggestions, questions or **anything at all** for me. If you liked this article don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button. Thanks for being here.

@DrPsycho

The reason I cleared my notepad Yesterday, I started writing an article, and when I made it to more than a half, I just cleared my notepad.  Wondering why? Well, I Was having weird thoughts like, "No! it isn't right, it is missing something and that it isn't perfect". And eventually, this fear of not being perfect made me smash my hard work, Which made me sad, not because I had lost my content; As I could undo it( Thanks to MAC, influenced by the work of XEROX PARC), but because of the thought that I wasted my whole day for nothing. Now today, when I revised the whole incident in my mind to check what went wrong yesterday, I realized that it was my unwanted desire to be a perfectionist. So I decided to discuss it in today's article.  So, let's start Now, If you consult the definition of a perfectionist, you will find out that a perfectionist is a person who has **high** standards( **perfect** to be exact). Well, of course, having high standards isn't wrong; In fact, it can lead you to success. But, **Having standards no less than perfect**; that's what can be problematic. As in my last article, I said that you shouldn't go to extremes on either side(either good, either bad). Well, It applies here as well. Because, if you observe closely, you will see that a perfectionist demands the best of everything, no excuses, no leniency. And that's why it is an issue because, as humans, it's in our nature to make mistakes, no matter how hard we try, we can't be perfect; The only thing we can do is to learn from our mistakes and improve ourselves. Perfectionists suffer because of their inflexibility in standards. And this inflexibility always gives them a hard time as they always live in fear; fear of loss, fear of disapproval and fear of failure. **If it's that bad, why it still exists?**  After this whole discussion( in fact blaming), you must be thinking that if it is that bad, then why it still exists, and why do people still want to be perfect.  The short answer to this question is "**Misunderstanding".**  The long answer is that;  People have confused both the terms "Perfection" and "Perfectionism".  **Perfection** is a quality that expresses the completeness and flawlessness of something, but the criteria of perfection vary from person to person. In other words, It isn't necessary that something that is perfect for someone, is also going to be perfect for others as well. **Perfectionism**, on the other hand, means to struggle for the perfection of something and accept nothing but perfection. In simple words, the criteria of perfectionism remains the same for everyone. let me explain it by giving an example Suppose your friend was making a cake, you visited and tasted it and said "It's perfect", even though it wasn't completely baked yet. This is the example of "perfection" as even if it wasn't baked yet, still it wasn't missing anything(any ingredient). But the fact that, caked isn't completely baked yet, indicates that it lacks perfectionism. Sometimes perfectionism can seem to be a positive trait, but the fact is that it has a negative side as well. Because, as I stated earlier, we are humans, and we cannot be perfect. So, eventually, in a struggle to perfect everything, we will make it worse, which would also depress us. So it is better to hope for the best but be ready for anything. **Conclusion:** There is nothing wrong with perfection, desire for perfection in something is completely normal. But perfectionism,( demand for perfection in everything) as an obsession, is wrong. Because you will never be satisfied by the results, everytime there will be room for improvement. So, it's better not to stress yourself, try your best and accept what you get. So, friends, here it comes to an end.  I am not sure if what I wrote in this article was right or not. Even the example, I made it up by myself based on what I understood about perfection or perfectionism, so there is a chance that I might be wrong. Feel free to suggest me anything, as there is always a room for improvement. As I am pretty curious about this article, I would really appreciate if you guys could review it in the comment box. And lastly, If you liked this article it would be **Perfect** if you like and subscribe. Thanks for being here.
