No Vaccine No Work Policy. It is not mandatory, but we have no option.
Two days ago, a report was aired on News television and other media sources that effective December 1 of this year in PH, the “no work, no pay” policy will be implemented for unvaccinated employees.
We all know that this COVID-19 has brought too much chaos around the world. Then there were speculations about mass depopulation that added more hysteria. It causes more confusion to people as to whether they would receive shots of vaccines or not.
When I heard news about people who died right after the first dose, I was devastated and discouraged to be vaccinated. But I did not jump into conclusion right away. I did my own research and found some information on the internet regarding the plan to lessen the world’s population in a more decent way.
Two weeks ago, I received my second dose of Pfizer Vaccine. But I was against this COVID vaccination. I decided to be vaccinated for several reasons and before this “No Vaccine No Work Policy” was released in the press, I had already thought of it. In fact I posted about it a month ago with the We've Got To Believe It'll Be Alright In The End post.
No work, no pay
According to news, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has ordered all employers and establishments to have their employees be vaccinated if they will work on-site. It is a must.
Here is the thing. According to Department of Labor secretary Teresita Cucueco, “Employees who don’t want to be vaccinated can still report to work on-site but the test expenses will be from their own money.” Are you willing to accept this condition where you have to undergo regular testing at least twice a month using your own money? What if your wages are below minimum? You will have no choice other than to get vaccinated.
Cucueco also added that if the worker still refuses to undergo testing, he can use all his remaining leaves. But if all of the leave credits have been consumed, the worker will be on a “No work, no pay” policy.
A person who is determined to fight for his principle will have to suffer the consequences. This is what I saw before I decided to get vaccinated. If I refuse all these, I will end up losing my job. If I lose my job my wife and kids will starve. Even if I can find another source of income, it will take a long time to survive. I don’t want my kids to suffer for my own principles. These days you can not apply for a job if you are not vaccinated or at least have a negative test result of the killer virus.
Indeed the law says vaccination is not mandatory but the rules these government agencies implementing about vaccination have approval by the government. Most likely COVID vaccination is mandatory!
Vaccination VS Christmas Bonus
I remember last week, the news reported something about “No Vax, No Bonus”. The acting mayor in one particular city province has said that he wanted to ensure that all his employees are vaccinated and if an employee is not vaccinated before Christmas day, he will not receive his yearly Christmas bonus.
Funny may it sound but the report has not said whether the acting mayor was serious or not about his remarks.
The Palace had said that there is nothing wrong with this because giving a Christmas bonus to employees is not even written in the labor code. It will depend on the employer if they wish to give bonus pay to their employees or not during the holiday season.
Filipinos are accustomed to receiving bonuses from their bosses or employers. Does it make sense to deprive an employee of the privilege to receive a gift on Christmas because he doesn't want to be vaccinated? If you are the mayor do you think you will be happier celebrating on Christmas eve while some of your employees did not receive a bonus for their nochebuena. I hope the mayor was just joking about this “No Vaccine, No Bonus” thing. As the late Michael Jackson said in his song, “Give love on Christmas day. No greater gift is there than love.”
It is important that we should always take safety measures with regards to our health whether vaccinated or not. There are still people who are not so concerned about this vaccination. We cannot blame them, they have their rights and are just practicing freedom. I mean even though I don't want to receive shots there are important things to consider that is why I decided to get vaccinated. Whether those speculations about bloodless mass depopulation are true or not, it doesn’t matter to me now.
Remember that things happen for a reason. Sometimes the meaning of a suffering can be hard to understand but if one has faith all things have meaning.

I don't like saying things about the vaccination cos we all have different beliefs and manners of doing thing. we have heard a lot of side effects of the vaccine and how even fully vaccinated people still got the virus again, well if the person is convinced let him take the vaccine is a matter of choice but the government imposing it on people is against human rights
