Introduction

It has been productive years in the Bitcoin Cash Community from it's inception until date, a lot of projects have been sponsored and developed, both major and minor, all having contributed immensely in its own capacity to the growth and development of Bitcoin Cash.

One of such projects is Bitcoincash247. Bitcoincash247 went beyond writing Bitcoin Cash related articles on read.cash to making a step towards offering local contents in three major Nigerian languages; Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo. This was driven with the aim to break the language barrier faced during merchant adoption in Nigeria.

Bitcoincash247 - Bitcoin Cash Adoption In Nigeria

As it is a prior aim of the Bitcoin Cash Community to get Bitcoin cash accepted all over the world through merchant adoption, Bitcoincash247 is staged in the Southern Region of Nigeria, working alongside Bitcoin Cash Nigeria to bring Bitcoin cash adoption to the merchants.

Our strategy was to first create local contents which is meant to break language barriers, then proceed to Educating and recruiting instructors which will guide merchants on steps to understanding, accepting and using Bitcoin Cash in their day to day businesses.

This strategy is close to accomplishment as we have through the support of the Bitcoin Cash Community, created a local content blog, Bitcoincash247 Blog which will from the 17th of May publish local Contents, acquired Branded T-shirts which will be used by our instructors during the adoption process, also banners and a Projector which be used during our meetups and seminars.

Our Mission

Our Mission as a Team is to create the awareness of Bitcoin Cash in the South-South region of Nigeria, onboard users, and also, educate them on how Bitcoin Cash works.

Also, We aim to provide references to Bitcoin Cash local merchants within Nigeria through our local content blog to foster easy understanding and provide bitcoin Cash related news in a language easier to understand.

We will also be working with @SatoshisAngels on their merchant adoption scheme therefore listing every merchant onboarded to the Bitcoin.com map for tracking purposes.

Also, We raised a BitcoinCash247 Flipstarter Campaign about a Month ago which raised us 6BCH to build a Blog and also acquire materials/devices to ease our adoption process, we had leftover of 2BCH, This also will be used judiciously to foot further expenses.

Appreciation & Conclusion

I guess this is a local region over there in Nigeria, I guess now the whole country knows that Nigerien's local currency is worthless and maybe people are now more open into using something else besides their fiat paper.
