Since 2013, the Bitcoin price has traded in the red for 60% of its monthly performance during January. Especially in the year after the bear. On a positive note, February is one of Bitcoin’s best-performing assets. Even during the years after the bears.

𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 Markets have been Flat as F over the holidays so far. With a little dip this morning and probably a little pump back to 16.8K soon. This can´t last, a breakout will happen. Up or Down those Bollinger Bands are getting tight. Everyone and their fleas are making 2023 predictions, well not this Baby. I just got one thing to say. We lost approx 50K and we have 16K left. That means 2023 can only be better than 2022 as we have lost more than what we have left.

𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 Everywhere I look I see FUD, short-term FUD, Mid-Term FUD the only thing still saf for long-term crypto holders seems the long-time perspective. Where some of us might hope that the turning point would be early 2023, analysts are currently taking that hope away from us. If you thought that the alts had bottomed, no way. If the cycle reset is now, that means BTC dominance will grow and be there for the next 4 months. That means any loss will hit the altcoins the hardest and they can still drop by a lot. XRP seemed to be winning but the LBRY case has shown that winning might be impossible and settling is the best option left. Binance, if it goes down it will do so in the next 6 weeks and that fallout is gonna be the bomb. Still, I do not expect Binance to fall, but if we will see prices nobody expected. The FED will remain hawkish till Q3 of 2023 for sure. Recession and interest will draw down the capital that can be invested, hence no capital, no investments, and therefore no rallies. 𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 Yes I am extremely late. why? Because I was watching the market till late last night. I so expected BTC to go below 16K. It did not, and that was a little miracle with all the FUD currently clouding everyone's vision. I did get some buying orders filled last night, and that is the weird thing... Many alts are at their lowest point atm, lower than what they were when BTC touched that 15.5K . Now I ain´t saying this is the bottom, but they are bottoming out to an extent you should start eyeing your alts and adding some to your stacks in the weeks to come. Especially now BTC dominance is increasing the alt market will get tasty. If you want to know what lower cap ALTS I will be buying: OP, GLMR, UNI, FTM, KDA and maybe some ROSE

And now My Friends The End Is Near....... **2022 is coming to an end, thank goodness.** **Because if you would ask me in what state of the cycle we are I would say depression. Good thing is, depression is the last stage before the market starts moving up again.** But if you know your history the Great Depression lasted 10 years and at its peak between 1929 and 1932, the GDP fell by an estimated 15%. Worldwide GDP fell by less than 1% from 2008 to 2009 during the Great Recession. So we might not be out of the woods yet as I see another great recession looming. But there is good news...oh no there is not sorry. Well okay, let me pour in a little hopium. CPI is year over year, it´s the price of a basket of goods compared to the same period last year. Now the FED is not saying this, but that year over year might just be what will end the inflation. Very simply said, we had huge inflation in 2022 compared to 2021: But it´s stabilizing now, meaning numbers don´t shoot up anymore. So when comparing 2023 to the high inflation of 2022 the CPI might very well drop to that 2% or 3% the FED is looking for. It can even turn negative due to that weir YOY calculation: So that is my bit of hopium for the summer of 2023. Don´t look Back in Anger 2022 started off so great with me and my profits, I think I was on a high knowing that I my initial investment did a 7 X. But I did not dyor, I expected just a bit more before the fall. **And I was wrong!** Lessons Learned Many lessons were learned in 2022, among which: - Extended bull markets are bull crap - Don´t ask how, but trust the 4-year cycles - Don´t put your coins in places that offer small rewards for owning your keys (Celsius) - Once the bull run ends, be patient buying back in. Wait at least on a 60% drop and 80% for smaller alts - Don´t zoom out in a bear market, but grind harder as what you make now will 10 X next run - Don´t trust billionaires with curls in T-shirts and shorts Still 2022 was not all BAD. I liked buying BTC at 15.5K, did not expect that to ever happen. My Brave Browser Bat reward swap reached over 250 BAT this month. Meaning I received 250 BAT from people who can not monetize their Brave rewards because they can not connect to an Uphold wallet and returned 66,6% of their BAT in BCH or HIVE. If this keeps up it might become a real business. Views on my blogs increased even though interest in crypto decreased. And as we are nearing the end of this bear market, I am still in profit.....not much but still in profit. The Bottom Line By the end of January, this will be the longest crypto bear market ever. Why I do Not DCA, and think it´s a Degen Strategy **I have been calling this out in the past and I just thought maybe it´s a good time to explain it once more. Especially on a red weekend like this!** **DCA-ing is for Dumbo´s, it´s for people not in tune with the market. Good luck getting rich if you put in the same 50 dollars in the same 5 coins each month and probably on the same day.**  **Because I am pretty confident that if you started doing that these last 6 months or these last 60 months it will work for you.** **If you started doing that two years ago, sorry mate that has got to hurt.** DCA = LAZY As I mentioned in the past the DCA strategy is lazy, you do not have to think or keep up. You just throw money in a jar and hope one day that jar will overflow. And know the market principal it will. Still, if you did it for the last 2 years that´s 24*$50= $600 invested. Now there was a year of bull and a year of bear. And I will be nice: On those 300 dollars, you put in during 2021 by quarter you will have an average loss of 50+%: 2021: Q1 an average loss of 40% Q2 average loss of 60% Q3 average loss of 50%, Q4 average loss of 80% 2022: Q1 average loss of 70% Q2 average loss of 60%, Q3 break even Q4 break even. So on average, you would have a loss of 60%, so your portfolio is worth about $240 right now (if you bought the best-preserved coins). Nobody Is Perfect Now my name maybe nobody but even I am not perfect. I F´ up more than most, but this crypto thing is where I feel comfortable. So as I like to do the opposite I follow the Constanza Rule, sort off. Yes, that does come from our favorite Seinfeld character George Constanza. The biggest F´up of all, until he stops following the masses, ignores his gut feeling, and does the opposite of what he wants to do. Once George started ignoring his human emotion and did the opposite of what he felt like doing life started shining on Georgie boy for the first time ever. In finance and crypto, it´s the same.  It´s probably my mentality, but I am following the Constanza rule by nature, which is why I do not get people in the market. **We all know the meme below:** Now if you think that it´s funny, you probably bought it on the right-hand side and you feel a little stupid. Don´t! You are just human, it seems.  Human behavior has led you to follow the masses, to FOMO in as they call it so nicely. And 90% of the people do.  Those are the same 90% that will not be reading this article because the hype has died down and they took their losses and got out of the market. Only to return in 2025 when the narrative changes and the media and their friends light the FOMO inside their human brains once again. No FOMO Please I always learned that fear is a Bad Advisor. And a famous rich guy told me to buy when there is blood in the street. Well right now there is not just blood, the streets are cluttered with body parts oozing blood and it´s getting worse. So why are people not buying? **Fear, my dear Watson.** People are frightened The media is filling heads with scary stories. And if that isn´t enough, if they were holding on to that last bit of faith that things would get better in 2023.....the FED just took their last bit of hopium. Yes, we are in the longest crypto bear market ever, but markets move like the ocean. They pull back, they pull back even more, they stabilize, and then another Tsunami hits. If you have been DCA-ing your butt off, that Tsunami will return all your funds with interest. Why Because you are rewarded for not doing the human thing, not getting scarred, and not getting out. But you could have done so much better if you would have been even less like Georgie Boy. If you had followed the Constanza rule you would not have bought at all in 2021´s Q2, Q4,  and Q1 & Q2 of 2022. You would have sold your buys in Q2, bought back in Q3, and sold in Q4 of 2021. And you would not have started buying till Q3 of 2022. Why Because you would sell when others were buying, you would wait till others were selling to start buying again. You would do the opposite of the masses and today near the bottom of the bear market you would have been in profit and happily DCA-ing the dip. Which means that at a certain point you say this is an interesting point to buy and then buy in every 500-dollar drop. While doing this you should keep swing trading a bit on the side. Because the bear market still offers frequent opportunities to make an additional 20-30% per trade. As long as the market is not out of this downward trend chances are 90% or more that if one of your coins has a 20% rally it will be followed by a 25% dip. So just do the Constanza thing and sell when things go up, and put a buy order in 20% below your selling price to buy back when the others are selling. If you are in tune with the market you will notice when things are really turning around. Bottom Line Once that happens keep thinking about Georgie boy. The market is finally going up means people will take profit, too early. And after that initial sale of around 30K people will FOMO in once again and that´s when things get interesting. That is when I start DCA-ing my sales, every 500 dollars we go above 50K I will start selling little pieces of the stacks I have accumulated during the longest bear market ever.
