Anti-BCH trolls are using BCHN to divide the BCH community.

Most people who have been around a while realize their are professional disinformation and division-spreading agents working to harm BCH on social media. These professional teams have been attacking any project looking to create peer-to-peer electronic cash for years. They fooled the community into thinking the majority of the community preferred small blocks when it was not true. That's how they fooled the miners into letting them capture BTC and delay the success of a real "Bitcoin" (peer-to-peer electronic cash for the world's people).

It appears they started the anti-IFP movement telling us we all hated it and ABC. The goal was to stop BCH from getting much needed development funding and to attack our developers. They had a lot of success with that attack vector because there were some good reasons to oppose the IFP and how it was handled. That spawned the new node project called BCHN. BCHN has great people in it and may be able to do good things for BCH.

Attacking BCH developers is very important to the anti-BCH forces and they are using BCHN as a tool to try to damage BCH development and demonize ABC. ABC has long been a primary target since they have been our strongest development leadership since BCH was created by ABC. Even though most would agree that a strong leader is not really a good idea in the long run, some of the trolls are now claiming BCHN is suddenly the new leadership of the BCH community. They have been claiming BCHN was supported by the community (to a greater extent than ABC) for months. Definitely since before it might have been true. They lie like this a lot because if they lie repeatedly it does eventually fool many people.

As far as I can tell, the good people on the BCHN team have not been offering to replace ABC by doing all their work and making better decisions day-to-day. They have been working to do some things we need done and stop one thing they do not like. That is not really an attempt to take over BCH code-development-leadership from ABC. Contributing and influencing development is a good thing and that is what a new node team would normally do if they were not intending to harm BCH. I do not think the real BCH fans on BCHN intend to harm BCH.

Even though the BCHN team does not seem to be claiming they are the new leaders of BCH, the anti-BCH trolls (social engineering agents) have been using their usual methods of dishonesty and personal attacks to push that false claim to try to cause infighting. Of course the anti-BCH trolling is multi-faceted and they are doing much more to harm BCH than just this one thing. There is an army of them and they infest much of the crypto-related social media.
