Nettle and mint syrup with honey - recipe

Nettle syrup is an excellent natural remedy for all seasonal ailments, and in this text we will give you some suggestions on how to make it. There are several variations for grilled juice: with or without sugar, with honey or in combination with mint and other herbs.

In folk medicine, "glow" is considered one of the most healing plants, and spring is its time. We usually avoid it in a wide arc because it is known as a grass that "burns" and causes an unpleasant rash. However, even that burning is healing. It is believed that this painful therapy has a beneficial effect on rheumatic diseases.

The prejudices about nettles that we have been carrying since we were little prevent us from getting to know the good sides of this medicinal plant, and there are really many of them.

Recipe.

young leaves glow (at least thirty pieces),

the same amount of fresh mint leaves,

a teaspoon of citric acid,

1 liter of water,

kilogram of sugar (as a substitute is a larger amount of homemade honey).

Syrup preparation is not complicated:

When the water boils, remove it from the hob and set aside to cool. Hand out the nettle leaves and mint together. Let stand submerged in water for 24 hours. During this period, stir the drink occasionally. The next day, add sugar and citric acid to the syrup until they dissolve and melt well. Prepare clean glass jars and pour the obtained nettle and mint syrup into them.

You can drink this beneficial drink as soon as it is fresh, also feel free to store it in the refrigerator and take it as needed. Its taste is quite acceptable, refreshing and does a lot for your health, offer it to your family and friends.

Veoma korisno, to je sirup pun gvozdja , volim i corbice od koprive i pite. dobra je i za prehranu biljaka, takodje ubija biljne vasi i druge bolesti.

Neće grom u koprive ! Perun i kopriva su u srodstvu, tako narod kaže. Proizvode vatru, svako na svoj način. A u narodu postoji i izreka – neće svoj na svoga. Tu leži i odgonetka, objašnjenje značenja ovog starog izraza. Neće Perun, Tor ili Donnar poslati svoju vatru na koprivu, svoj rod.
