Important! Chameleon paint is very expensive, so you need serious skills to complete this job, because even the slightest mistake will result in additional processing costs. Everything should be perfect - with painting, primer, polishing, etc.
Chameleon painting will require adherence to a particular technology in three stages:
Applying a substrate (toner primer). The ideal option is to use a black or white background, so that the maximum chameleon effect will be achieved after the final painting, but other colors can also be used. The color of the soil-toner will give the main color, and the pigment applied afterwards will burn it out.
The main layer is directly chameleon paint for the machine. The effect of the overflow will depend on the thickness of the layer.
Special varnish.
So, we move directly to the image itself. You must first provide adequate lighting. The combination of a halogen and a fluorescent lamp is ideal because a fluorescent lamp will amplify the color effect for a car chameleon, and in daylight the color will be darkened.
Therefore, it is necessary to combine these two types of lighting. To apply the first coat of paint, place the spray gun at a distance of 40-50 cm from the surface of the car and apply a pressure of 4 atm. The air temperature in the room where the chameleon is painted should be 20 ° C. The first level dries quickly, about 3 minutes, but do not allow the paint to dry! Then remove the dust with an antistatic cloth.
The second layer is applied in exactly the same way. The third and fourth layers are applied already at a distance of 30 cm from the spray on the surface of the car, using an inlet pressure of 3 atm. And dry for 5 minutes of each layer. You can apply up to nine coats: the more coats, the richer the color effect for the car chameleon. After applying all the layers, it is necessary to fix the resulting paint with a special transparent varnish. Do this when the paint dries. It is recommended to apply the varnish in several layers.
