**My leg is still there with the pain, though not as intense as it was when it first occurred which I am thankful for.**

**Many at times, we meet people who mock us because of our heights or body structure, our work, our health , relationships, status and many others. In fact they make us question our very being, their words most times brings in depression that leads to death of many or lead others to do what they shouldn't do.**
**On our heights which sadly can't be fixed as some would've had it fixed if it were possible. I have seen cases where people mock short people and make them feel inferior among their peers, or how tall some people are among their peers. This have made some question God on why they are made like that.**
**Some have used or saving to buy enlargement cream or surgery to fix their boobs or butt to make them more bigger as the world in it modernization have brought in many ways to help this people. Though some do it because they aren't contented with what they have and needed to be noticed among their peers. **Different people have left their legal work to an illegal one because they are being mocked for not moving forward or haven't achieved anything tangible to show for it ,on** @Theblackdoll **recent article on** ***If you are blessed, stop bragging!!*** **you'll find more about this.**
**In the case of health, many have been mocked for their health status. We all have certain health issues we are battling with and we've met with some people who look down on others because he or she is diabetic, hypertensive, a Sickle cell patient or because some are using glasses due to some health issues and others.**
**In the relationship aspect,we have come across those that'll say nasty things about our fiancé or fiancée, either on their body structure or the work they do. This had made some girls push their boyfriends to do things to get them satisfied. Like a story I heard of a girl who saved money to get her boyfriend a laptop so he'd start doing Yahoo Yahoo (internet fraud) the guy though didn't listen to her and returned the gift which made her break up with him because to her, he won't achieve anything if he doesn't do what big boys does.**
**We have heard words like, isn't she getting married, when will she be pregnant, maybe the husband is impotent and all other jargons to mock our status, this also as made some ladies endanger their lives by marrying a toxic man because they could not take it anymore, on** @FashTioluwa **article on** ***When is the right age for a lady to get married*****, you'll learn more on this.**
**There's a different between mocking and inspiring people with your words to become better or do better in whatever they are determined to do. Always know that we all have different destinated time to accomplish whatever we want, because you have yours now doesn't mean others won't get theirs too.**
**Stop making your friend, colleague or families to feel like they haven't done enough. If you can't help, then stay off their ways.**
**Just like I always have these words like mantras to remind**
***That in dust we came and to dust we shall return.***
***Also never to mock anyone,as the same sun that hardens a clay also melt the butter, and we'll never know maybe we might be met with either the clay or the butter.***
**Mocking is very bad and it an attitude that we should try to work on as it makes us loose things that should have been ours or people who were supposed to be close to us and help us achieve more.**
**You may have ventured into a business that you find grace in while a friend of yours in that same business didn't move forward, it may not be her way or there might be certain things that might have resulted to that. But because you have climbed a ladder higher than that of your friend, you believe you are on top and start bragging and using some venomous words on her.**
**God said we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves and instead of helping them, you throw your mocking words at them. Never forget that you can slip and fall from that ladder at anytime, how you treat people when you are climbing and after you have, matters a lot.**
**Many have become depressed with those hateful words of yours and it may lead them to commit suicide if they aren't strong to overcome those words.**
**We should be mindful of our words because when a word is spoken out you can never take it back. Just like a joke I heard about Gb WhatsApp that you can never delete your words on it which is true so think carefully before you press the send button with your hands or voice.**
**Be a person with whom people would want to associate with because of the beautiful words that comes out of your mouth, if you can connect your friend to a job, do it and keep mum about it, no one needs to know. Help as many as you can, find joy in helping people out in various aspects. Don't just give them the fish but show them the way to the pond and the necessary things needed to attract and catch the fishes. Though we are not perfect, but why don't we strive to do good and leave this world as a legend, someone known to have done things rightly and have helped many get to their destinations. Create a good story for yourself,a story worthy to be told and heard by many listeners,a story that will inspire people to do more and give insights on things they need to make their lives beautiful.**

Do it right and the pains will be felt once!.
**Hello lovely readers and friends of read.cash, how are you all doing today, I do hope you were able to sort out something's that as always kept you awake for long.**

**There's a very known idiom that says 'No pain, no gain '. I bring this to you to give more insight on today's article. I have read different articles here on read.cash that have in a little way give details on what you gain when you do things right**. **She explained how she passed through pain in order to get her tooth removed. She was afraid of going to the dentist but still summon up courage to get things done. If she had procrastinate on getting it done she'd have felt pains several times.**
**Many times we skip going through the right ways to get things done which later bite us in the ' ass ' . When things aren't done rightly, there's always a higher percentage that we will later face the repercussions of our actions.**
**If we take the right action towards our problem, we realise we get things sorted out though unimaginably pain could have taken place.**
**Health is wealth they say which is true because a sick person isn't wealthy.**
**We've all gone through some certain situations in life that hurts and will push us to the place of giving up, it'll push us straight to the dark hollow hole filled with poisonous creatures that scare the shit out of us but we shouldn't give up and still learn to do things rightly.**
**I had a little accident yesterday that shifted the bone in my leg. At first I didn't feel much pain so I didn't have it taken care of.**
**After sitting down for some hours, I tried standing up and then I felt a sharp pain which made me bite hard on my lips in order to swallow the pain. I didn't want to attract anyone's attention. So I limped toward where the first aid box was and brought out a balm which I applied on it myself. I was gentle on it because I didn't want to feel much pain.**
**When I finished rubbing and deceiving myself in thinking the pain would reduce or even go away it never did because I had to limp home and though my colleagues were concerned and asked to help, I thank them and told them it wasn't that much. Though some of them still came over to have it checked out but still I never let them press much on it. After I had promised them I'd have it look into when I got home they let me go.**
**On arriving home, I was so tired that I just showered and laid still on the bed with pain. I was never the one to take drug but I did take a body relief drug my sister once gave me sometime ago thinking maybe that only will help.**
**So there I was laying on the bed, refusing to seek for help and expecting the drugs magic. After some minutes of waiting and still no relieve I picked my phone and was going to dial a friend's number when I heard a knock.**
**The person came in after my response and it happened to be who I wanted to call, just seeing her put relief to my soul. She was good at massaging and arranging bones perfectly.**
**On seeing me just laying on the bed just staring at her she became alert because it was unlike me. She came closer to me and asked what happened and I told her with a pain filled voice.**
**I had some massaging oil with so she used took it and got to work**.
**After a lot of screaming , shouting and crying which she deliberately ignored . She had my leg fixed and then she told me to rest of which I did.**
**Luckily when I awoke, I didn't feel much pain. I was happy and call her to show how grateful I was.**
**I tried walking with it, exercising it to lessen the pain a bit.**
**On arrival to work I thank my colleagues especially those who called to check up on me. They were surprise seeing me as they expected I would take the day off.**
**I learnt my lesson and vow never to let such take place again.**
**If I had fixed it on time or rightly I wouldn't have gone through numerous pains.**
**Thank God I had it massaged because if I didn't, something unimaginable might happen.. pampering the leg may cause more arm to it and it may lead to what I would never be able to fix.**
**In whatever you do, or come on contact with, always try to get things fixed or done on time no matter the pain so you'll only feel it once.**

How contended are you?
**Hello lovely readers and friends of Read.cash, a beautiful day to you all as we begin a new month filled with blessings, love, prosperity, kindness, Favours, good health, tons of cash and rise of Bch 😊 our ways. A heart full of appreciations to my sponsors.**
**I just started my day and it still good so far all thanks to God!. I am so grateful though that even with different life challenges I have always come out safely maybe with some scars sometimes but with valuable lessons to continue growing more in all aspects.**
**Now, on today's article on contentment, which in my own word, is the ability of being satisfied with what we have. We are all met with tons of attitudes or behaviors which really question our style towards contentment.**
**Many would say that they are truly contented but is that true? Aren't there times you think or do unquestionable things that makes you question your level of contentment?**
Are we truly contented?
**Some will disagree with reasons to back up their claims on their act of contentment.**
**No one is truly contented as we are all just trying our best. Our flesh,soul,mind,heart combined together many times affect our act of contentment. Most times we seek for things that we can't afford that someone close to us have. We can't help our thoughts drifting towards an item gotten by a co-worker ,friends, neighbors and others.It makes us wish we can have those items or being given those gifts or taken along to that party or vacation or being invited to an event by a friend or colleague.**
**Many who have mastered self control can't help but fall prey to this, it doesn't mean they are weak but we can't help some temptations..**
**We face tons of temptation everyday! Even Jesus was tempted after his fasting and prayers in the wilderness but he didn't fall prey because he his more of spirit than flesh. But are we?**
**The answer is capital No!.. we are all full of flesh as it covers us and it's the carrier of the soul and the spirit.**
**We can't help ourselves towards some valuable things, wanting them, needing them like we need our breath.**
What level of contentment are you?
**Though it as been mentioned above that no one is truly contented but still, there are people who can still control themselves.**
**The art of contentment differs, as we all have our level of contentment. we have the controlled contentment, the normal contentment and the abnormal contentment.**
**In the** *****controlled contentment*******, the key word controlled takes place, these are people who have groomed themselves in such a way that certain things don't move them, don't get me wrong, it not like they don't feel the need to get something they do, but their self control always prevent it. They can overlook the pair of shoes gotten by a friend of theirs or might even appreciate the look but that's all, no brooding!**
**In the case of the** *****normal contentment***** **, the thoughts of getting a dress or taking along to the vacation everyone speaks off always come in. They brood little on it, then let their imaginations to work sometimes on what they'll do if they got there but after sometime, they let go. They don't chew more than they can swallow. They don't pressurize themselves to get their contentment filled instead they just look away.**
**In the** *****abnormal contentment***** **just as the name implies, people who fall in here can't help but want it all. They want the same shoes, clothes and other material things gotten by their colleagues. They want to feel among, let people know they are always there, get the attention, flock their wings high up and would do just anything to achieve their goals. Either it is legal or illegal, that don't mind as long as they get what they want. It all that matters. Many youths even some old people have fall deeply into this. Kids using their parents for ritual or their friends just to be known or parents abducting other people's children and using them to get their demands met.**
**They brood and brood over not getting the new car gotten by their friends. They want it also not caring how hard their friends might have walked to get it. All they just need is to get things done! Overthrowing every obstacle on their way with devious mean.**
What prompted me to write on this?
**A colleague of mine did some little celebration on his new post and called us all there. Some could not attend because it was a Monday and pleaded with him on their not coming over.**
**I went with some colleagues of mine and we met some of colleagues there on arrival, we exchanged pleasantries as usual and waved to the man behind our coming over. He came over to welcome us as we all sat down to celebrate the day.**
**We couldn't stay much to celebrate with him further as most of us need to get home on time so we called on him to bid him goodbye but he insisted we gave him some minutes of which he later came to us to give us some gifts.**
**He took us to enclosed place to share it to avoid distractions since the party was still ongoing.**
**He left afterwards , leaving us to share the gifts.**
**A colleague of mine hissed on seeing the gift and called on her son almost dragging him to get away . We called on her to confirm what happened and then she said,' He should have given us something else, I don't want this.'**
**Then I asked,.isn't it the same thing he'd give to others who attended too, and she shook her head, claiming she came before us and saw his wife giving gifts out to some people.**
**She did left angrily, murmuring but we all ignored her. I later found out that it was the wife's mother that got a special gift for her friend's and asked her daughter to share it.**
**I am not truly contented as I still have the thoughts on getting something's but I make sure I don't brood much over it and let it ruin my day. Nor do I get things done illegally to achieve my aims.**

How Curious are you?
**Hello lovely readers and friends of Read.cash, how are you all today. I'm so stressed today and my legs aches😓. But surely I'll be fine soon.**

**Before I begin fully this on today's article, let's all take a minute to pray for those at the war front. They are all our beloved brothers and sisters and they need us in this crucial time.**
**The war surely will end one day, but not all who started it will end it as many sacrifices will be made.**
**A mother would lose a son, wives would lose their husbands and children will be left with no father to teach them all that they needed to know in order become gentlemen. I don't like wars😥.**
**Now on today's article on Curiosity. We are all familiar with the word especially the phrase, Curiosity killed the cat. Well just as the curiosity killed the cat so did the answer awoken it. Lol.**
**To those who are most keen on knowing my definition, well have got a lot but I'll give one and leave you to be curious in the rest.**
***Curiosity is the act of wanting to know, learn or understand why someone or something are different or does somethings*****.**
Why should we be curious.
**Well I don't know about you, but they are many reasons I'm always curious, wanting to know something though I most times learn to tame my curiosity to make sure I don't always poke into was not meant to be poked upon.**
**Mind you, every human on earth have a curious mind, we all want to know why the woman next door sang beautifully last night when she has always be known to be quiet or why some people couldn't finish what they started or why someone or something's weren't attended to like they usually are.**
**To me, I see no bad on being curious, the only thing is that it shouldn't be overdone, just like we all know too much of everything is plainly bad.**
**Curiosity helps us reason more and keeps our minds busy.**
**It also helps us intellectually when we got to know the answers to our question.**
**It is exciting and scary at the same time. Imagine your husband or wife came home acting a bit strange and you know it will soon be your twenty-fifth anniversary or the plans your friends have towards your birthday or what your children are planning on showing you or when in the spirit of Christmas, what your family, friends or colleagues at work have in store for you in that well shaped box under the Christmas tree.**
**Newton was curious and that made him great because he did got answers to his curiosity. So did many others**.
What are you curious about?
**Well I'm curious about a lot of things, in fact I have a lot of questions but the one I'm asking now is, why didn't the woman who owns the restaurant I pass to work everyday not opening anymore?**
**Have been curious about this for some days, especially when am going and coming back from work and my eyes just glance through there.**
**I don't know her and her workers or buy from them but have seen a lot of people always walking in to get themselves filled up before or after the day's work.**
**Her disappearance is a mystery to me, though the only thing I do know about her is that she isn't from my country. So here I am, thinking maybe she went back, but why? I don't seem to know and there's no one to ask. My cat is anxiously waiting for her return or it may die of curiosity. I intended on writing on this earlier but it skipped my mind not until today when I passed through when going and coming back from a journey when I was reminded of it.**

**I'm very curious on why the sun seems to** **be so hot and made me take a bike when I should have taken a bus to my destination because the bus didn't arrive on time.**
**And also why my sister's baby finds fun in dragging and playing with my cheek whenever she sees me or why she finds it loving in pinching me.. I swear I don't even know what I did😭, then she smiles after doing this. I want to do mine back 😣.**
**To my country people, I'm curious on the recent behavior of our beloved president🙄, he seems to be so sure of himself on somethings and speaking out some words I can't Identify.**

Are superstition truly real,or just mainly fables?.
**Hello lovely readers and friends of Read.cash, how are you all today, hope today's work was not that stressful, and if it was, please try taking a rest. You have truly tried today. Hope for tomorrow's event.**

**Now on today's article on** *****Are superstitious beliefs truly real or mainly fables.***** **Before writing further , let's breach into what superstition and fable truly entails.**
**In my own words, Superstition is a person belief or people's beliefs or notion with respect to any event which maybe influenced by one's behavior in a mystic way either a good or bad omen.**
**Fable on the other hand, is based on fiction (imagination) which is made to excite wonder or common talks.**
How true are superstitious stories?
**I have come in contact with many people who have their different say on either superstition is true or mainly fable.**
**While some agreed with facts to back them up, others disagreed saying, ' things only happen because we believe in them '. For instance when you have a positive mind towards achieving something, there's an higher chance that thing would come to pass.**
**I'm a practical person when it comes to these beliefs, I want to know why I shouldn't blow whistle when the sun is high up or why I shouldn't sit at the middle of two people or walk pass the leg of a pregnant woman or eat from a pot.**
**If most of our mother's are being asked why we shouldn't do this or that, or what will happen if we do, we most times get answers like, what isn't good isn't good and that's it.**
**What if I saw someone doing something which I was told shouldn't be done and I told the person not to,if the person asks why? Should I just respond the same. No!.**
**There was a time I once visited a friend of mine and while discussing a woman told us that if a cloth wrapped in a circular form is being placed on a goat's head, the goat wouldn't move an inch until the cloth is removed.**
**I didn't believe it not until she did it and it was actually true!.**
**There was also a belief that when two dogs are mating, and a nail is put deep inside the sand, very close to them, they won't be able to stop not until the nail is removed, that also was true! Because I witnessed it.**
**If I were to tell someone this, I would be able to back it up. I believe in facts. You can't tell me something and just expect me to believe it because you said so.**
**Just like the former mentioned above on why you shouldn't sit at the middle of two people or walk in their middle I believe it because it just mainly wrong to do so.**
**The reason I think it not good to blow whistle when the sun is high up is because you might disturb other people's private time with the noise.**
**There are some superstition that aren't superstition but fable to stop people from doing something which may be morally wrong not because something bad will happen.**
How does Superstition and Fable relates?.
**To me, they work side by side, just like I mentioned, something's are just said to scare you not because it real.**
**Stories told to children of how tortoise became bald or has a small nose, are mainly fables. But you'd see children believing it when they see one because they've been told so.**
**A child which was told that he/ she wasn't to tell anyone when they are traveling because something bad will happen is a lie.**
**There are sometimes you won't tell anyone of your travelling and still encounter bad things, such is life!**
**I have seen people or being told by someone of their depart to places far and they got there safely with no harm.**
**What actually motivated me to write this article is a call which I received hours ago from a friend.**
**I have mentioned her in some of my articles, she was the one who lost her father which I mentioned is one of my articles that a childhood friend of hers didn't show up even after she called her of her dad's demise.**
**Well it happened they sorted things out as the friend later apologized after many rebuked her actions.**
**Now the same friend told the person who called me that she was traveling to her village with her dad whereas she went somewhere else.**
**According to my friend, she said she called on her on the day she journey through the destination she was told about to know if she had gotten there or not.**
**Not long she called came in dusk and she had to do somethings and was unable to call.**
**She said the moment it was fully dawn she called her countless times but her number wasn't reachable so she thought it must be because the signal there was weak.**
**After two days of calling and not getting any response she became worried and had to call her friend's mother who informed her that her daughter wasn't in Nigeria anymore and didn't tell her because something bad could happen to her plane.**
**Haha... sounds ridiculous right?**
**As a good that friend she was, she even asked if she could get reach to her even if it is through her sister with whom she went to meet there and the mother said she won't be able to talk to her because they don't receive any kind of number there.😂😂.**
**Really? So she couldn't pass the lady's number to the sister or what?.. so they could talk via WhatsApp or something?.**
**It kinda funny though how people can just term things as superstition to cover up their untruthfulness.**
**I told my friend never to mind them and shouldn't think about it of which she informed me she didn't have it in mind but just decided to tell me because it was actually funny to hear.**
**This lady had people learning a under her who have fully paid for the services to be rendered to them and she just left without even looking for a place to put them before she left.**
**All this wasn't said because according to them, superstition stated it.**
**If her bus didn't crash when she told her friend she was going to the village, then why would her plane crash.**
**Good things are meant to be celebrated.**
**I believe though that she was just being careful not to encounter bad things on her way there but having to lie to a close friend of yours isn't worth it.**
**Truly we don't know who is who and my country with it's supernatural beings could most times put fear in our hearts.**
**But in regardlwss of it all, believe in God's word and pray before every going out and coming in.**
**Read Psalm 23 always if any sort of doubts sets in. And God will lead you through every nook and inch of your journey.**
**I make sure to tell close buddies of my departure and things worked fine, if it does not it is God's will.**
**No one knows tommorow, so live a good life because when death comes, it won't only wait for you to journey out as it can appear at any given time, even at the comfort of your home.**

Don't give up! Even when they tried they couldn't stop you.
Hello great friends and readers of Read.cash. How are you all today, and hope today's life challenges didn't bereave you from attaining things worthy of your time ,just like happiness.
A very happy day to you my sponsors, I do appreciate your love and believe in me to write more.
I bring to your table today on why you shouldn't give up to life challenges.
Life isn't fair and isn't meant to be for everyone no matter your status in life or how close you are to God.
They'll be countless challenges that will shake your faith in a non friendly way. Through all, we should always be thankful and never give up on life.
The moment we let our doubtful heart lead us, is the moment depression sets in .
The rise of goods have set most people in depression because those mainly in the middle class now are finding it hard to really be in the middle class anymore as the prices of everything seems to continue mocking a hard-working hands making it seem like they aren't doing enough.
The recent drop in BCH isn't even helping at all. Even I don't want to view it.
But I assure you , you're doing your best and it'll surely fall in the right place. You just have to keep trying and never give up.
As a wise man had said, Don't give up as there's surely a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel.
Life as to do with growth which means in every growth, challenges must be met.
The truth is you have a lot of people either looking up to you or looking down to your downfall. You just have to choose which one you are ready to fall in to.
There's a recent story about a man in my community.
This man owns a bakery where he bakes bread and has a lot of workers and people always ready to get from him. Because of his attitude and mostly because of how well baked and big his bread was people patronized him from far away places.
His bread tastes nice and got this mouthwatering aroma that would make you use your last cent on it. And people who always get from him are always happy because they sell fast and are ready to come for more to be sold.
This brought in hatred from his association has they demanded he reduce the size of his bread of which he declined. According to him, he get all his goods in bulk and have his gain even with the large size. Then why should he reduce it to satisfy his Co members?.
His bakery was closed down because of this that he couldn't open it due to the fact that the others used a legal backup on it with the aid of corruptive officials.
They were bent on bringing him down. When people heard about his misfortune they were all ready to help him fight and to do away their ridiculous request.
After he had pleaded with his Co members saying the cost to create a new pan to use for bread is high and should be pardoned they still didn't open up his bakery.
He therefore took an action and wake up early to make bread, bypassing the locked bakery with his workers.
He informed people about it and told them they were to come as early as 5:00 am to pick up their supplies for he was going to close at exactly 6:00.
He did it for some weeks but had to go fully head to head with them after they still didn't open his bakery because he didn't do their bidding.
After some weeks, I saw that his bakery started functioning again fully. I was really happy for him and learnt from his bravery and act to stand against corruption because he continued baking the same amount with full cream richness to it.
This man was so good natured that he treated his employees right and also his customers. I heard he gives out pieces of bread for free to any of his customers whoever complained of not getting answered on time and now hungry.
His character was worth emulating and I hope some of his Co members can learn from him instead of just hating on him.
The article by @Olasquare on Life's tactics gave me more insight to right on this.
We should try to ask how other made it instead of hating on them because hate can never win but love.
We should also try to tame our jealousy mind and work towards asking the right thing and the right people. Even God said , ask and it shall be given. We shouldn't expect people to do right by us when they don't even know where to start from.
In life we shouldn't give up on whatever challenges is thrown out our way but instead battle them fiercely and strategically with God's will.
Things won't surely work our way forever and we shouldn't forget though when things went our ways.
We should also try to fix our attitudes when needed with people around us and try to make better decisions no matter the odds our way.

I just did my part as a friend though I felt betrayed!
**Hello, lovely readers and friends of Read.cash. How are you all today, hope work wasn't that bothersome. A lovely evening to you my sponsors.**
**Welcome to my article for today , on betrayal.**
**So some urgent situation came in that needed my full energy and after the recess, I got a call from a close friend who called to inform me about a friend of mine.**
Many years ago.
**While I was busy in a Faraway land having a tight schedule and almost no time for myself, I met up with a lady, she was just 18 years old then and she started moving closer to me, you know , in a bid to get close. After several attempts by me to let her off, she never relented and kept on coming. Though I was very friendly with people around me, I never did let them get too close to me but this lady continue coming forward to lay under my wings and after many attempts by her, I gave in. After all I wasn't always around anyways. When I met her, she had a boyfriend who she really loved and I later got acquainted with the guy some months later.**
**Let's say the girl's name is Margaret and the guys name his Raphael and me(Balikis).**
**I most times read people even without me knowing and I knew there was something off with them. But me being me , I minded my business and face my jaw cracking workloads . After several months then years of being together, I called her one day and had a face to face conversation with her because I had taken her as a sister and I couldn't watch and relax on how things goes.**
**I noticed that Margaret gives the guy a lot, I mean, she could literally fly to the space and bring the moon to his feet, that's how crazy she is about him. She give him money, that she even started staying with him when she couldn't pay up her house rents when due because she gave it to the guy for his business. Though I have seen the guy give her little things too but it not up to what she had sacrificed.**
**I was sadden when I came back and realized she was staying with him which prompted me to call her. I could have asked her to come stay with me but I had a roommate then and I don't want any association with the duos and mostly because I love my privacy a lot. I knew my roommate would corrupt her to her ways since she was still a bit naive and I don't stay around much to be able to caution her.**
**After advices here and there and I saw she wasn't turning up because to her, she would never leave the guy, so I let her be before I would be tagged something else and her mom knew where she was so who am I ?🤷**
A year after that.
**I got really sick that I could hardly breathe, and I was in a lot of pain so I had to travel far away from there to get myself treated.**
**During my recovery mode I got a call from Margaret. You know the kind of call that makes your heart almost jump out from your ribcage? Yeah that's how I felt , her voice was shaking, sounding like she was being chased by an angry mob for ruining his day. I became alert and asked her to be calm. Then I told her to explain what made her that way.**
**Hmm....**
**I never did told you guys that when I was still at the other place, after travelling and coming back from a place, I saw her looking pale and so thin. When I asked her what happen she told me she was diagnosed with typhoid and malaria and me being someone that get sick a lot then you'd think I was a SS(sickle cell) I never doubted her cos I know how extreme my sickness can get most times.**
**It was during the call conversation that she had to tell me that she did an abortion for Rapheael and it was her third one which almost claimed her life.**
**Me that was still in the shock phase alone with her cracky voice stood up and asked , what?**
**Then she re explained telling me how sorry she was for not telling me the truth sooner because she knew me and knows well what I could have done to the guy.**
**Then I remembered that, I did heard people then saying she did an abortion when I came back then but I never listen to rumours and since she told me it was Malaria and Typhoid I never asked any other question.**
Why did she call?
**Now, it happens that she was pregnant again, which made it the fourth pregnancy she had for the him and he had asked her to abort it of which she declined and then he called a friend of his who was in the force to come over, unknowingly to her.**
**When the guy came in and also pleaded with her to have the baby aborted she still stood her ground claiming she almost died from the third one. As a result to that, both guys started beating her so that it will probably lead to a miscarriage.**
**She had a chance to run away of which she did and called me immediately she was a bit far away from there thanking God her phone was in her Jean pocket when they were beating her.**
**I had once taking her to one of my safe place so I asked her to go there,telling her to inform those people she was from me.**
**I tried calling the people at the safe house to inform them of her coming over but I couldn't reach them based on the fact that the network there wasn't stable(it a small village). Before she ended the call she begged me not to reveal her location to anybody , especially her boyfriend which means I had to feign innocence whenever he calls me even when I had wanted to call people over there to capture him and have him disciplined.**
A call from the safe place.
**Hours later , I got a call from one of the people at the safe house informing me on my friends arrival and I told them to please help me look after since I wouldn't be able to make it there because it was almost a day's journey there and the fact that I was still recovering.**
**Two days later I got a call from Rapheael on Margaret's location . The following conversation ensued.**
*Me: (wanting to strangle him but still acted nice though it pained me to) Hello, dear🙄 how far na?*
*Rapheael: I'm fine, please give me the location to the safe house I need to go pick her up.*
*Me:(feigning innocence) sorry, pick who up? And what safe house? Are you okay dear?*
*Raphael: she called me some minutes ago telling me where she is but the network was bad and I couldn't get reach to her when I called back.*
*Me: I'm sorry but I don't know what you're talking about, maybe you should try calling the number again.*
*Raphael: she once told me you took her to a safe house , that's why am calling I need to get to her, it very urgent.*
*Me: (with my phone up, shaking it ) hello, hello, are you there? Try calling me back, I can't hear you.*😒
**Immediately the call ended I had zillions of questions buzzing through my mind, did he guess, she wouldn't have told him right? No, it not possible... Did she.??**
**I quickly dialed the number at the safe house but it wasn't reachable, omg! What was I going to do? I kept on calling and calling but all to no avail. I couldn't concentrate on my work anymore and had to leave for home.**
On getting home.
**After countless hours of hmm.. haaaa.. hmm.. I got a call from the safe house. I picked it up and I was met with fear. I was told a guy came with fierce looking people to the village and they wanted protect her not until she said she called them. There was an uproar in the small village and they had to call to know what happened but I didn't tell them but only apologized for disturbing their peace**.
Years later.
**I never called her and neither did she and after years later I got a call from a strange number which happened to be hers , begging me endlessly , crying profusely that she couldn't stay away from him and had to call. I told her I forgave her, after all** ***I did my part as a friend but I felt betrayed*****!. She continue apologising and I told her to stop and let go for I have. I never allowed her get attached to me again especially when I found out she was still with the guy and when she tried to get in, I cut her off.**
**I had a friend(male) who really liked her and took her like one of his sister's.**
**He was the one who called me telling me he called her over to his mom's house to have his mother talk to her and even after that she was still bent on not leaving him.**
**Why?... She was asked and her response was. We've been through a lot together bla bla bla.**
**That friend of mine also knew Raphael and wasn't happy on how he treated her, he said he womanize a lot and use abusive words on her and still she's still not leaving.**
**Now, I ask, can she be saved? Did I do wrong in not putting her the right way?. I really wanted to help, but how can I help someone who doesn't want to be helped.**

What made your childhood memories?

**Now to today's article on childhood memories, we all have different memories when growing up which may have laid great impacts in grooming us to be who we are today.**
**My childhood wasn't that fun but I did enjoy some of the memories I had and I'm holding on to them tightly because they did lay a very good impact on me, from my teenage years to adulthood.**
**Just like we had what we loved, friends we played with, the food we couldn't do without, fantasies, crush 😁, most of us had music, games, story tales, and other interesting childhood experiences.**
**I had music most times 😍. I loved music a lot, ranging from African music to international music. Though I loved more international music (foreign)**
Common things that might have made our childhood.
Music.
**Like I mentioned earlier on music, especially on foreign music, I love them a lot, the likes of Celine Dion, destiny child, Big Sean, Kelly Rowland, R-kelly, Westlife, 50 cents, Sean Kingston, Jennifer Lopez, Diana Ross, Shaggy, Micheal Jackson, Joe, and all other lovely musicians I might have forgotten to add.**
**I love Celine Dion mostly, with her tiny little voice, her songs are well-made for me, lol. Ranging from the Power of love, A new day as come, I'm alive, My heart will go on, That's the way it is, Beauty and the Beast, I drove all night, Goodbye, Think twice and the rest... I could've written out the lyrics, but they aren't mine.**
**Music did lay a big impact on my life because it enabled me to learn new words, inspires me, educated me on different aspects of life.**
**Africa music sang by D-banj, Wande Coal, 2 face Idibia, P-square, 9ice, Lagbaja, Ayuba, Ayefele, and other fantastic musicians did make my childhood awesome. Also some radio stations like cool FM, Raypower among others.**
Movies and books
**I bet every Nigerian should have seen the super story, casting Baba Ajasco, Alinko, and all others, and those movies made, life more fun, including Akin and Pawpaw, Osofia, Olu Jacob and all other interesting actors and actresses, including Patience Ozokwor, Omotola Jalade, and other notable female actresses.**
**Coming to foreign movies**, **we have the likes of Jean Claude van-damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mr. Bean, and others. Also, snow-white, beauty and the beast, Cinderella 😉, Ella enchanted, and all others.**
**This set of people did make my childhood most enjoyable. I'm always ready to tune in to watch their movies.**
**I read a lot of storybooks like Ralia** **the sugar girl, Edet lives in Calabar, and Simbi goes to School which is short stories, and also short stories on the animal kingdom including Shakespeare novels.**
Food.
**I enjoyed the different delicacy of food though am restricted to eating some, but the moment indomie came out, gosh! I switched to it and loved it so much it was named after me..😂😂. We were two bearing Balikis in my new street then and indomie and egg were used to identify me. My cheek was so chubby then you'd wonder if I had tons of puff puff stuffed in it🤣🤣.**
**I appreciate and loved the African delicacies, like Amala, Semovita, yam, Fufu(Akpu), with their different varieties of soups like Ishapa, egusi, beans soup(gbegiri), banga, oha among others.**
Games.
**Oh! the fun of having to play suwe, skipping, Ada and obi, doing short and long jumps, after round one, tinko tinko, police and thief, boju boju, ludo and phone games like a good day today hard, Sokoban, bounce, snake game, board game, also water games and so many others I can't recall.**
**Life was indeed fun then, though some of us had to deal with adulthood at a very early stage, but we still really enjoyed childhood memories with grandma's ready to tell us stories under the tree when the moon shines bright, reminiscing on those memories brings smiles up my face and I wished I had someone store it up for me and handed over the disc or flash or maybe the password to view these memories.**
**Though I had different funny-looking pictures of me and my elder ones especially the ones of me alone as I was told by my mom that I enjoyed having to snap alone most times, lol**. **I guess have been maintaining social distances for long.**
School.
**This also Impacted greatly on me because it was where learning took place with rhymes and poems to make the day.**
**I had most of my friends there because I could speak freely with them, unlike my friends at the new place we moved to who enjoyed speaking our native dialect. Though with the help of my mum, I was able to learn the native dialect to perfection after months of being laughed at because I cracked when speaking 😂😂 and thank God I pushed myself to learn more and am happy about that.**
**We should try making our children's childhood fun by taking pictures, having videos of them and creating time to take them out, thank God technology has made things even better. We shouldn't just stay up at work always leaving our children alone when they needed our presence. Tell them short stories you were told or might have heard from somewhere. Let them act stupid and then correct them because if they don't act stupid while they are young, they'll probably not have something to laugh about when they get old.**
**All I think about now is work, money, family and other things, I barely have time for fun, and thank God for the little fun and stupid things I did during my childhood I was able to laugh heartily when I remember some things 😂😂... I just did now!**
**I did remember when I was very young and my mom called me to go and drop the kettle she just finished washing inside, I was playing when she called me, so I asked where I should drop it then she said on the bed, lol. Me not able to note the sarcasm in her voice went ahead to actually drop it on the bed and she just finished arranging her room and laying a white beautiful bed sheet on her bed😂😂.. The rest was history, something you guessed right🤣🤣🤣**.
**I do appreciate everything and everyone that made my childhood fun!, because of them I was able to look back and have little smiles, with music, films, games, and other things my childhood was great.**

**Here I come with another piece on Money Family or Relation.**
**We've all come in contact with different people with different ideology on** ***Money Family and Relation*** **, if many are been asked to choose most will choose the former because money is everything like they believed. After all they'll add, family can betray you at anytime or may not even appreciate your effort towards them, so why waste time choosing them when money will change a lot in their lives.**
**I do agree too, who wouldn't? I mean when you are sick and need a very urgent operation performed on you, isn't money the only thing that can save you? Would your family save you? Would they be even there in the first place? So why choose them?**
**A lot of well mind answered questions will go on and on..lol..**
**Remember though, money can solve a lot of things but can it put you in your grave when you die? 😂😂. .. oh I get it ! Maybe your ghost will wake up to give people money to bury you. The truth is ,no one knows when the life ends, we all just have the hope for tomorrow.**
**I once saw a short video on family and relation. It stated out the difference between a family and a relative**.
Family and relatives.
**Many definitions are out there stating what relations and families truly is.**
**In my own terms, Relations are who you are binded with by blood, these people consist of your sisters, brothers, aunt, uncle and others. While Family are people who value you and invest in you. They are people who you can tell your dreams to and they motivates you towards achieving it. They are people you can call on and tell things and they won't belittle you or trash your words, or leave you hanging when you needed them the most.**
**Though, it is believe that your parents, siblings, uncle's and others are your real families but how true is that? Have seen many cases where a mother as left her child wandering alone when he/she needed to be cuddled, or a father hurting their children physically and emotionally, blaming them for having to come to the world , or where siblings fight and kill each other in order to achieve more than the other and having to compete with one another.**
**It is sad truly to see that the people we call our blood and term as families aren't one. Then this make you realize that you all just related.**
Money, family or relations?
**What actually motivated me to write on this is my visitation today to a friend. I once spoke about her in one of my articles about the death of her beloved father.**
**Today made it the 41 days that he passed on and according to their religion they'll have to pray and make bean cake to be shared to people. But instead the opposite happened, I was a bit surprised though at what I found.**
What occured?
**On getting there, I met the place empty, I became sad and almost cursed the drug I used for making me sleep off thinking I got there late, I made it there around 9:34 am . Then, I reasoned deeply on why they would have ended things so fast when it still morning.**
**I walked towards the compound and pressed the door bell and waited for the gate to be opened but no one answered. So I pushed the gate and found it opened, I walked towards the house and saw all doors open, going in with a slow pace, while scrutinizing my surroundings to check if anything was off. I was met with my friends sister who was coming out to open the gate ,she greeted me and I was about to answer when I saw my friend laying on the bare tile with a solemn face. I walk towards her and sat with her, giving her a tight hug . I looked at her face and then she burst out telling me what happened. After my interactions with her, I understood why everywhere was silent.**
**The families who were to be present for the prayers travelled for a party which was to hold this Sunday... Leaving them alone after promising they'll be there and when they called the people who were to pray, they said they wouldn't be able to do it without the presence of at least one of their families.**
**The party they went for wasn't to take place today or tomorrow but Sunday and it just half a day journey to the place and they couldn't stay, or divide themselves to be able to attend to this children because of money.**
**Just like she had said, they'll be a lot of prominent people there and money would be involved also they are people among them who are commissioners and wants to be giving a post where they went to. All was to take place that same Sunday..**
**This made me realize that people will choose money over and over again against their thought to be loved ones.**
**It was really sad because she had to start telling people who she had invited to stay home and shouldn't bother coming when they called to confirm if they had began.**
**I had to make things right in my little way and use my spirit of great vibes to make the atmosphere charged with happiness and she was a bit sad when I was about to leave her.**
**The rate at which people will sacrifice their loved ones for post or money in such a cruel way is really bad.**
**I'm not here to judge anyone's opinion on what they'll choose but remember that money won't solve everything.**
**If I were to question those people on why they had chosen the party to their own dead blood brother praying day, they'll have something to say. After all the dead are gone and let the living continue leaving their lives to the fullest.**
**We all have our life challenges but try to be there for people, it might be their turn today and yours next. Will never know.**
**Just like she had said, if they could leave us(elder brother, sister and herself) at this stage when it not even up to half a year our father died then we shouldn't expect anything from them and neither should they! .**
**Now, check yourself deeply and ask yourself this question, are you a Family or a relation? Or you are plainly for the money.**

The greatest love
**Hello lovely readers and friends how are y'all feeling today..**

**To those who went out yesterday for Valentine, please try coming back home on time and bring the goodies along with you. I'm patiently waiting for some of my friends to tune in and tell me all the gist and ermm** ***clears throat*** **... I'd better leave the sentence unfinished 😁.**
**Now to today's article on the greatest love, I'll have to first thank God for giving me the hope to see yesterday and today . Also I will like to appreciate my friends, colleagues and loved ones who made me feel loved on yesterday's celebration.**
**I have to be sincere, I have never felt so much before and feeling it make my heart almost spilt apart and drown the pieces in ecstasy.**
What really happened?
**A lot happened 😊, a lot of hugs, kisses ,laughter and love was shared. I was surprised at what my colleagues and my pupils did for me. After getting to work and chatting freely as usual, I didn't bother going up stairs because my bag was taken by my pupils to the class. The assembly started minutes later and all other activities on the field took place. While it ended ,I blew some kisses to my colleagues as I move up to my class.. and alas!.. I almost cried, lots of gifts and letters filled up my space and lots of happy Valentine's day ma was heard.**
**I walk out my class and cleaned my eyes to be sure I wasn't seeing wrong 😂😂, gosh, those children made my day! While reading their letters I felt so much love imputed in it. They even prayed for me, and blew kisses my way. I stare at them and all I could see were smiles on their faces, I hugged them tightly one after the other and speak words of encouragement and thanks to them.**
**Children's love are one of the greatest love you can ever find. Their love filled hearts and uplifting words still echoes in my heart.**
**They showed me great love and filled my soul with happiness, they pampered me a lot and didn't stress me like they always knowingly do some other days. Lol, they can be a very big pain in the ass if they want..😂😂 and they know am always ready to share the pain given 🤣🤣.**
**Children are one of the greatest gift from God and their smiles and vibes can light up any room. Their actions even made me love my job even more (even though teaching isn't my level of expertise but I had to take it on and work on it ,since my country is very good at making you study something and come out doing something else😂😂lol..)and makes me work better to give them the best. Just like** @Olasquare **said, it is not the gift that matters but the motive behind it. The fact that they had me on their mind and had a lot of decorations and letters written to me to commend me on my work really goes a long way.**
**Money is needed in life but commending someone for things they've done really goes a long way.**
**My colleagues didn't miss out in blessing me with gifts and throwing my jokes up my way and neither did I waste time in giving everyone mine, both the children also .**
**I made sure to share the gift by giving out to those who don't have and hardly had any for myself, though I kept the letters and drawings in a safe place where I could find them easily to stare at and reminisce at the wonderful event that took place.**
**I had the greatest gift yesterday and I feel renewed at the end of the day. Valentine's day is not just a fun-filled sex day but mostly a day to show love and encourage your love ones in whatever they do ,just like** @FashTioluwa **had also mentioned in his article, valentine is indeed a day that is to be celebrated with or without being single. I had a wonderful celebration even with the fact that I had no partner. That didn't stop my evergreen happiness and fun-filled day!.**

Information: what have learnt so far?
**Hello, notable friends and readers of Read. cash, how are you all today?...**
**It has been a while I posted because of my busy schedule, though I created little time to read and comment on others posts, which brings me to the post I read recently on Read. cash by** @Pantera **on welcoming the newbies here and the steps they need to take.**
**Though have been using this platform for a while I still read the article hoping to learn more. While reading his article, I learned a lot and even came across an app named ' Grammarly ', which I had to download after making little research on it.**
I don't need the app, I write well!.
**Well, indeed, you write well and might not need it but come to think of it, even after proofreading some of your articles you still find errors, or maybe someone found them for you. Then you'd be like, but I edited this article well, I took my time to proofread, then how could I have made this simple mistake? That's because no man is an island and we are bound to make mistakes.**
**When editing most times, we sometimes get ahead of ourselves when reading and miss little errors which might have been fixed. Getting an app to fix our little mistakes makes editing even more fun.**
What Is Grammarly?
**Grammarly Is an educative app that helps with sentence construction, punctuation, usage of verbs, articles and many more.**
How can I download it?
**I made use of ' play store ' to download. Just type ProofAidWriting and you'd see the app Grammarly ready for download.**
**Install the app after download and you'd be asked to register. After that, you can change the switch on your keyboard to Grammarly's keyboard and start your typing.**
What information have you learnt?
**Using** @Read.Cash **you'll meet up with** **different writers who are ready to fill you in with their articles. There are educative, informative, entertaining, creative and many more articles here that will always make your day.**
**I have read articles written by different writers like** @FashTioluwa**,** @Kristofferquincy**,** @gertu13**,**@rodriguezpct, @Lazysnail@Fash_Tioluwa, @Success1**,** @FarmGirl and many others.
**While reading their articles, have learned so greatly and have even gotten acquainted with some of them.**
**They are some people who don't read other people's articles (they just read the title and maybe the end without reading the body) well before commenting. They just assume since the article's heading is on Food then it is mainly on that. What about the little gist the author might have added? A funny story even? Or the food that might have purged them greatly, or the one which they wished they might have eaten but couldn't because of their health status.**
**What I am trying to say in a nutshell is that we should try reading the full detail before commenting.**
**If I hadn't read Pantera's article in full detail, I wouldn't have come across the app Grammarly. If I were to just comment based on the title of the article on tips to aid newbies without reading in full detail, I would've missed out.**

Walk: fast or slow.
**Hello lovely readers and friends, how are y'all feeling today.. hope the weekend wasn't that stressful cos mine was so stressful.**
**A lovely morning to you all and a very big hug for the comments and tips guys.. I am so so so so so grateful.. and it just boosted me up to write more, you guys are darlings especially to** @gertu13 **,** @TheRandomRewarder **,** @FashTioluwa **,** @Kristofferquincy **and many others, I love you all ..**
**Yeah. .. so to today's article on walk let's see what it all about shall we..😁**
**Like I said earlier, my weekend was super stressful , I barely had time to rest and just has I was coming back home last night after the day's work and awful journey (I love travelling on buses but my country's road isn't nice at all, am having a waist pain right now, ouuchhh !🥺) I met someone.. according to him, he had been calling on me for sometime,when he approached me, he asked me if we could move toward his car and move from the crowdy road. I agreed, mostly because my leg ache and I needed rest, but I didn't go into his car instead I sat at the back where I could feel the natural air.**
**After he noticed his persuasion to make me go inside his car proved abortive , he sat out with me and he said with a smile, ' have you ever been told you walk so fast? ' and I snorted 😂😂 like a pig(which was unladylike and I would've been given that awful look if I were a proper lady😂😂). I gave a throaty laugh and smiled at him. Sure have been told countless times that I walked fast , I just can't help it most times, especially if I'm walking alone. We both conversed a little before I told him I had to go.**
**He requested to drop me off but I declined his request, he was a nice stranger but I had to say no, he was a bit sad but I neverminded and went my way.**
Was I harsh?
**I thought about it when I was in the bus, in a way I was harsh but still it needed to be done, a lot of happening have taken place in my country that being security conscious is your best shot.. kidnapping, ritual killing (boyfriend and girlfriend hunting each other down, the article written by** @Success.1 **would give you more insight about it if you are interested) and many more.**
**Also if you also subscribed to** @gertu13 **and seen her last post on how a mother had killed her own child because of money then you'd understand I wasn't harsh.**
**If the people we love and called our own could hurt us, then a stranger would do more if he wanted to.**
**Just staying and talking is a risk on it own because voodoo or spell can be used on the person that you would have gotten where they wanted you to be before you could remember how you got there**.
Back to the gist.
**I have always known myself to walk fast 😂😂, especially when I needed to get there on time and I woke up late or didn't get bus on time which are mostly the case and when coming back , I just want to hurry home and rest after the day's work stress, the only time I know I don't walk fast is when I'm walking with someone,.or in the midst of friends and colleagues or I just decided to lazy around and go for sight see.**
**I once worked at a media organization where the C.E.O had wanted to make me a model(he said I look and walk like one😂😂 like have been told countless times but still I don't know because me😂😂, oh come on!) but I didn't have any interest in it but still yield towards his request that I should walk more slowly but me being me na😜, though I did walk slow whenever he is around because he's always looking at me. As fate would have it I quit the work for some unseen circumstances.**
**My mom had also warned me some long years back to walk and smile when walking because a lady is expected to but me!..🤣🤣, well let just say I listen a little sha. I have worked a bit on the smile though . But the walk, hmm..okay .**
**When you are a hustler where I come from, you have to walk fast to attend to things before the day ends or maybe it just me trying to back up the reason I walk fast, lol.. but what you think?**
**And I heard walking fast makes people see you like you always have something to do , it either you are a mother who wants to get to your children on time or a wife who is going home to cook for her husband..**
**I also heard a lady who is searching for a husband is not meant to walk fast 😂😂, how true is this?**
**Is walking fast or slow really determine who you are? . I'm not married though, have been pushed to get married some years back because according to them am not getting younger and my mates are already married with kids. But it my life and I'll do that when God approve of it 😊.**

If it is pride, then so be it.
**Hello lovely readers and friends, how are you all this beautiful morning.**
**Thank you all for the comment, love and uplifting words shown toward me in my last post. It was a sad day but your presence in my life made the hurtful heart a lot bearing.**
**Today's article is written based on a story I read on** @Read.Cash **by my lovely friend and family** @gertu13 **on judging others and being judged ourselves. It is a lovely and educative article that might interest you.**
**I'm sorry ma'am for calling you out like this but I can't just help it because I dearly appreciate your presence in my life and I see you more than just a reader.**
**Now on today's article on pride, I want to bring a bit of myself in😜. I'm both introverted and extroverted. I can work both ways. But most people have always known me to be introverted because of my attitude outside except my friends and families who knows I am plainly not much of it.**
The Gist.
**There's was a long time ago in my parent's house. I had lived there then, there was this particular day I went out and on my way back I saw a close friend who I chatted freely with, have always been said to be funny (dunno how true this is). Yeah! My friend was laughing out uncontrollably at whatever have said. Then..... suddenly came in a guy who was passing by, he walked toward us and faced me directly, I could see smiles on his face(probably he heard the discussion with my friend). He said and I quote " So you can talk like this, ehn.. the others will never believe if I told them I heard you speak . We believed you were an introvert or mostly that you have a lot of pride in you. With the way you walk and keep a straight face(have been told that I walk as if I'm modelling)". And in my mind I was like 😂😂😂 (Me, model? Issokay!).**
**I was amazed by what the man had said and I asked why they had judge me so freely without knowing a thing about me and also concluded I had pride because of how I walked or the fact that I just face where I was going. He replied, saying he was told I had pride when he questioned the people around him. Before I could talk, my friend beat me to it. Whoever think she has pride for minding her business and going her way needs to rethink because Balikis (me😁) is the most caring, loving, funny, incredible and supportive person I have ever seen, and if she's being termed as one with pride, then so be it!. I felt a butterfly in my heart at my friend's outburst and I hugged her for having my back.**
**The guy swallowed hard and said he was sorry, I smiled at him and told him he had nothing to be sorry for. He left us and went his way, I spoke a bit longer with my friend and waved her off.**
**Hmmm...**
**On my way out one afternoon, I branch a shop to get things to give to someone. I greeted those I met there and was awaiting my turn when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned and smiled at the person thinking he wanted to pass but I was met with a smile too, I greeted him and then I remembered he was the guy who saw me with my friend some months back after he reintroduce himself. I smiled and pleaded with him for not remembering him and he just waved it off saying, it was okay. We spoke for awhile and he pointed where he sells to me, and he showed me the people he asked me from.**
**I laughed hard when I saw them, this are people I greet if I meet them on the way or when I get things from them. The guy whose name happened to be Tony, asked me why I had laughed so hard and I told him never to mind my outburst. I got what I wanted from the shop and bade him goodbye.**
**In life, people will always judge you no matter what, the reason for my outburst was that I notice whenever I went to get something from them, before knowing Tony , I always heard their discussions but I don't budge into it. I believe I wasn't spoken to and I don't like putting my mouth in discussions I wasn't called in. Maybe that's why I was being termed as a prideful person or it is the way I walked.**
**Whichever the reason it was, I never asked, and didn't stop buying goods from them and minding my business. .**
**We can't be good in everyone's diary, where others may have praised us, loved us, adored us, others could dislike us, paint us bad as much as they could and act like they are the victims.**
**As long as you feel peace in your heart and didn't hurt anyone in order to achieve what you want, you are good to go. I know God almighty knows my heart and how mind works because even when they had painted me bad, I still introduce people to buy from them.**

**We are all villians in somebody's novel, so don't feel sad whenever you hear someone's opinion about you, you don't have to do them bad or know them before they can decide how to paint you. Just be yourself and pray God will deliver you from the hands of those who are working against you and also won't let your helpers associate with them.**

Today's unexpected news.
Hello lovely readers and friends, how's the day so far? I hope you are all good.
It is with great sadden heart I write today, my heart is so heavily broken. Why? ...... Why?.... I asked no one in particular. It shouldn't have been him I thought.
Hmm.....
I was on my way to meet up with the bursar to confirm some issues when I saw our security man crying profusely with other workers trying their possible best to calm him down.
I walked towards them and asked what happened and I was told he lost his grandson. I felt really sad when I heard this even before I was told the full story.
It is said that the man's daughter had abandoned the child at child's birth and she ran off. The man has been the one taking care of the child who is now 1years and some months old now which means he is still a baby. This man is a bit old and I wonder how heartless the lady was to drop off her own child to her father with nothing.
One of the workers had to take the man home in her car so we'd all be assured he is safe because we will never know if he'd get home safe in his condition.
It is saddening to see or hear what's going on in this modern age. How some ladies have unprotected sex and put to bed, only to put the baby in misery.
I see such people has heartless being, a baby so fragile that needs to be loved and cared for with all sweet deep emotions is left to battle for his life without his mother's love.
I can't bear the pain that spark my heart at this sudden news.
Many are out there searching desperately for a child to call their own and you that God gift it too do not appreciate it and give these little babies pains.
Please if you know you are not physically, financially, emotionally and spiritually fit to cater for a child why bother bring them to earth?
I pray though to those that are battling desperately to care for there offsprings be blessed abundantly ad those that are expecting to be blessed beyond their expectations.
Let's try to be good parents. I know it gets frustrating sometimes with works and family but let's try to shower love to our little ones and continue praying for them.
We should all know that whatever we sow we shall reap, so sow what is edible and loving so you won't face an awful music when the time comes.
Babies are lovely , sweet and awesome beings who bring laughter , happiness and blessings to the world with their smile and would one day, grow to be beautiful and awesome in their own ways. They are also our future, so we should try to fill them with love and positivities because a time will come when such will be shown to us at our old age.

Valentine : Who got you?
Hello lovely readers and friends, I hope you all had a great day today..
Work was hectic today, it a new week and it's Monday gosh! ( I dislike Mondays) 😣.. . And it wasn't that good because my partner's husband lost his father (stroke) she had to go with him leaving me alone with other colleagues. But all thanks to God things got a little better afterwards after throwing off my vibes 😁. I surely can't stay in a sad place for long, I can't help but bring back the chattering spirit in me.
Today, we'd be looking at love's article has we just entered the Val's month( February) yipee!!. Many people who are single would say, Val isn't for me, I have no partner to share it with. But trust me, you have a lot of people to share it with. There's love in every month and we don't have to wait for Valentine before we can show and appreciate our loved ones. Let's quickly brief into the kinds of love there is. Get your roses , coat and big heart ready for the beautiful month.
The roses are meant for you loved ones, the coat to keep them warm and the heart to love them unconditionally.
Agape love:
This is also known has the spirit love(God's love) it's not a physical act but a feeling and it is the highest level of love. When God sent His only son to save us , He loved us so much and Jesus knowing this still came and loved us even when we sinned and killed Him.. He still stands with us, never giving up on us. He was whipped and nailed to the cross but He still accepted us even after His death. He called us His own. This love of His is so wonderful and Unquestionable and we feel it everyday.
Self love:
This deals with the soul. Has you understand and recognize your worth. This is a beautiful love of oneself which allows you take full responsibility for your well-being. You want to take care of your skin and make yourself happy , give yourself positive thoughts and pray for your very being. This love is great and shouldn't be left out of our life. According to @Fash_Tioluwa article on self love, we notice loving ourselves matters the most because only then can we love others.
Romantic love:
It means hormones love. It is a passionate love displayed through physical affection and it comes from natural instincts of people. The instinct to love and appreciate your partner is so heart pleasing and wonderful. You'd want to go to any length to feel them with every ounce of love you have in you. Where words can't describe your actions well, hugging them when they feel down, showering them with kisses always go a long way and also caring for each other needs.
Unconditional love:
This is a natural love that is rooted in the hearts of parents and children. It is an infinite love that is deep with emotions. The kinds of love are parents have for us is so wonderful and makes us speechless sometimes. Mother's who go through many phases. Bringing the babies to earth, with the pregnancy hormones and the beautiful marks of child birth. Still they will nurture us and even have sleepiness nights because of us. With the headaches and pains plus the shouting and picking us up when we fall they still care a great deal for us. There goes the father too with the unconditional love they show towards us, keeping awake to lull us to sleep when mommy is tired, feeding us and spoiling us with gifts and loves. And acting as our superheroes when we need mom although they are always scared of Mom 🤭🤭.
Affectionate love:
This does not require romance as it is a friendly love. When people with same values come together even when they are of different ethnicity, colour, beliefs, origin and religion, they still love and respect each other and also help each other grow in a healthy way. This love is common among friends or brothers and sisters. The need to tell your friend about a new job you found for him or her, or to help them with kind words to make their day. According to @gertu13 story on friends we would see that truly friendship love is beautiful and sparkles when both parties are involved . It makes their love flourish with unending happiness.
Who should I spend my Val with?
Spend Val with people around you but start with yourself. Don't belittle yourself and love yourself unconditionally with positive vibes and words. Then go out and spend it with your friends , colleagues, parents and don't forget the orphans and those in the street.. spread the wings of your love and flutter it fragrance in all ways. Don't forget God too as you praise and worship him.
Don't stop there, keep the love in your heart and never let it diminish, spread it even after the Val month ends. Give gift to those that have nothing and render help to those who have no where to go if you have the power to. Go to hospitals and spread your love to the sick, pray for them and ask for mercy, meet up with people who sit down with tattered clothes on your way to work and have conversations with them, make them smile and don't stop doing it.
Always remember they are people you can spend your Val with, don't stay hook up in a place with a solemn face because you have no partner to take you out. Take yourself out instead, whether you have money to spend or not, you never know someone might need your help with something then, you can save a life and advice a stranger or give word of advice to a stranger. Fill your heart with love always and don't forget this ' in dust we came and to dust we shall return '. So spend the time you have with love filled heart. Don't forget the people at the prisons too, go there and shower them with your presence also pray for our soldiers and send love to them.
Have a blessed second, minute , hour ,day , week , month and year of life . Don't give up on love and God bless you all.
I am single( not searching though 😁) but I have a lot of love in my life, regardless of what I have passed through in life, I am grateful to be here and I'm going to continue spreading my wings of love everywhere I go and never get tired because love leads.

Ghostmode ..
**Hello lovely readers and friends, how have you all being?. It been a while I posted here but I can assure you all that I'm back, not fully maybe, but I have returned from my ghost mode.**
**My day was hectic and I barely had something to eat because I was busy. I know health comes first, yeah , but I always love finishing up with work before eating because I might end up abandoning the work after eating and go to sleep.. I'm definitely like that most times😂 unless I'm with someone who I can chat with (face to face).**
**So, why I'm writing this article again, yes!.. 👻 ghostmode...**
**Why I went AWOL , I actually wanted to come online and write but I was pained when I found out that my phone had an issue.**
What Happened?
**After I got back from work, I saw a movie before going out again, on getting back, it was already late so I shower, ate and charged my phone. I checked on it before sleeping to make sure it was charging.**
**Then the heartbreaking news came when my alarm woke me up, I stood up from bed to get cleaned up,prayed and then I got dressed for the day's work . I walk elegantly with beautiful smile on face towards my phone then alas! My smile dropped, it discharged from 56% to 40% ..**
**I cleared up my head and cleaned my face again to check if I was seeing the correct thing but all the same. Infact I closed my eyes and breathed out and pinch myself if I were dreaming but the result was still the same.**
My reaction after that.
**I put the phone in my bag plus the charger and walked out to go to work. I called an engineer I know and told him about it (he said it was the charging port/point) and he said he didn't have it because the person he gets goods from travelled for the Christmas holiday and isn't back. Immediately he said that, the pain intensified when I realized I won't be using it for what I had planned it for.**
**I sat down with a solemn look on face which was unlike me, my colleagues came in to ask what happened but I couldn't talk and after pestering me, I let it all out and they pitied me because they knew how important the device was to me.**
**I had some calls from my friends asking if I was okay when I didn't check in on them as always and some on why I wasn't online.. I had to switch off the phone at some time to preserve the battery against the next day to complete the work I was doing.**
**Luckily for me, after two days of staying offline I got a call from my engineer telling me he had gotten it from somewhere else , I was a bit happy and went to his office after work. On getting there he fixed it, and when I asked why he didn't wait for his distributor he smiled and said to me "you sounded sad when you called and you didn't joke around with me like you always did, you didn't even ask how my day was going or if I have eaten which is unlike you".**
**I felt bad about it when I realized I didn't chat enough with my colleagues too which was unlike me, I was always known to start up conversations and bring in happiness but I realized the opposite happened during this time.**
Apologised?
**Yes, I apologised. I charged my phone and I had a conference call with my colleagues, I apologised for my attitude and they all forgave me saying they knew I needed it the phone to finish up some work and they would have done worse.. I laughed and thank them for understanding and brought back the high spirit in me.**
Lesson.
**In all that happens in life, we shouldn't get attached to something too much so we won't feel depressed if the thing doesn't work out when we needed it the most.**
**I never believed I was attached to my phone cos I always let it out most times , sometimes I'll have my colleagues coming over because they wanted to collect new movies or play a game. So I asked myself, how come I was still a bit attached to it? Then I realized I use it mainly for my works and projects because I believed it was supposed to be used since it helps faster in getting what I needed.**
**Also, I'm working on being happy even when life throws in heavy burden, so help me God.**
**I got a book and started keeping notes of all that is needed and also typed it in my notepad. In any case my phone get an issue again I won't feel that sad because I have an alternative.**
**Apart from phone, they are tons of things we get ourselves attach to, look for that thing and ask yourself, if the world go black today and the thing or person you got yourself attach to you isn't there, how will you cope?**
**Well that's all I have on my ghostmode today..**

Obsession: My past came calling.
*I screamed in agony when I couldn't find my source of addiction for hours which seems like years to me. I jerked out of bed with cold sweats running through my body in the well ventilated room. I screamed out again and was held by the new familiar hand which held me in place in a consoling manner. I shook him off and stare into nothingness . It is too late, no one can help anymore because no matter what, my past came calling.* ***Acquired from my thoughts*****.**
**There are thousands of reasons people get obsess of one thing or the other. We are all obsess about things we love deeply and want to keep private or sometimes things we want to show off but not without marking out our territory.**
**Many confuses love with obsession and couldn't help but go deeper till it gets tough to let go. Before I go deeply into today's article, let's see what obsession is about.**
**Obsession, in my own word, is the act of being preoccupied by single emotion or to dominate your thoughts on someone or something.**
**Just like the meaning states, I would like to explain the levels of obsession with the aid of Nigeria's educational levels.**
Creche- Kindergarten level.
**In this level, the obsessors obsession can still be tamed. This is still at the fresh starting level. Though their obsessions varies just like we are all different with different thoughts and beliefs. They are however, calm and can still be corrected. Just like noting your child's obsession to certain food or TV series or maybe talking to strangers or collecting things that doesn't belong to them. You can still stop them before they grow into it and help them become better.. this is not only applicable to children but adults also. They are some people who take quick notes at the changes in them and also those who takes time to note them, in regardless of how you note them, as long as you fall into this group and work on your obsessions, you'd be fine.**
Nursery- primary level.
**This is also term as the normal or abnormal obsessors. In this stage, the level of obsession is deep but not deep rooted. It can still be worked upon when they seek for help,though it is hard to get it out, it still possible to. I know of people who got obsess in their love life but came out good and worked on themselves to become better .Some in their sex life also came out of their addiction after several therapy and loves from family. Others who are addicted to drinking or smoking also can come out clean after much meeting and associating with peers who can help them out. I also know of a friend who drinks a lot, like he was addicted to drinking and clubbing, but since he got married or before he even did, his fiancee stopped him from his addiction, though it was hard but he came out good. There's also a movie I mentioned on my last post** ****Abuse and Addiction******, on Fifty shades about Christan Grey who was into BDSM, with the fact that he was already deep into it, he was still saved not immediately but gradually he did and found love.**
Secondary- Tertiary level.
**In this stage, the root obsessor obsession as gone too deep that it can't be uprooted and even when you cut and weed it out, it will still find a way to grow because the roots have gone deeper than our thoughts. People who fall in this group are not meant to say around people because they can get you hurt without even knowing or some may even find fun in it. People in at this level have lost their source of humanity. We might have come across them maybe in reality or in movies. Therapy most times won't work on them as they can act like they are okay so you'd leave them be , whereas they have something else in mind. They are many people out there in different countries, especially in some African countries who are so obsessed with making money. This set of people don't care what they do as long as they make the money. They are ready to kill or use anybody they see to make sure they achieve their goals. This set of people are sick in the head and don't care about loyalty or love.**
*There's a story of a lady I know who got obsessed in love with someone. She was once a good friend of mine but I had to stay off when I noticed her strange attitude. First I called her attention to it and tried... God knows I tried helping her but she was already far into it. Even after the guy almost killed her if not that I helped I escape, she still went back. I was mad at her when she called the guy to tell him where she was after pleading with me not to tell the guy where she was if ever he called me of which the guy did. I even denied knowing where she was even after the guy disclose where she was.. to me, I thought maybe the guy just guessed not until I found out that she was actually the one that called the guy. I know people who have also spoken to her from old to her age mates but still nothing seems to work. The guy have hurt her in many unsaid ways that it hurts me to see someone being treated like that. He had tried to shake her off but she won't budge so now the guy is just there not loving her but taking her money and body like he wants while her obsession keeps getting deep and deep everyday.*

**Obsessors can be found in different places, at any time. Below are some of the places an obsessor can be found.**
**Our homes**
**School**
**Work**
**Markets**
**Parties e.t.c**
How can I help with my obsession?
**There are many ways you can work with your obsessions. You just have to find the right way for you. What works for A might not work for B, but this are ways I think might help.**
Family.
**This are the most closer people to you, one can meet up with them and explain what you notice to them. It actually every dreams of parents to see their child coming to them to help them out with somethings. Some might even go out of their way to make excessive time just for you especially our mothers. They are ready to devote their time to you and get in help with so much love to help you with the battle.**
Friends.
**This are the second closer people we love to relate with. Some times your friends might be the best option because not everyone as understanding parents while some parents might not even have time to help their kids out because they need to work to provide for the family ' in their words '. And also some parents might be very strict therefore putting fears in their kids to approach them. Imagine you are obsessed with sex and you have strict parents?.. No it won't work, because they might ruin it and make you feel depress. But you can call your friends at anytime and tell her about your obsession and if you have the ' good friend ' they will surely find a way to help you overcome it.**
Partners.
**Your partner is also a closer person to you and you'll be able to interact freely with them especially if your love life is good. You can talk to them and watch as they'll be ready to back you up and help you conquer it.**
How can help an obsessed person?
**Fill them in with love for love fix's things and brings back an astray heart home . Also ,don't quit on them unless it has gotten out of hand. For the sake of your sanity, it'll be better you help them seek help and call on people mostly close to them on their deep rooted attitudes.**
**You can also make them see how bad their obsessions are and how it ruining them, but make sure you say it in a calm and nice way to avoid depression. Also do not leave them be after showing them how their obsessive behavior can ruin but also show them ways you think can work and help them take the step.**
**Do not ridicule them or throw their obsessions in their phase especially in their phase of letting go.**
*After being saved from the hands that should have loved and adored me, I became distance and hated why the person could have saved me. Though I was happy they didn't kill them but sentenced them to life imprisonment, so all I need to do was to help them out and take them to safe place where a new whip can slash into my aching skin and bless it with beautiful pleasure, then I can be at ease for my past wouldn't come calling anymore as I'll be living it. I just have to act good and very soon I'll be back to my obsession.*

Wild imaginations:Abuse and Addiction.
***I didn't move, neither did I hear the sound of whip splash against my already battered body. I watched in awe as my blood splattered beautifully on the already blood stained walls then I smiled deeply because it has become my addiction***. ***Acquired from my thoughts.***
**Many of us have different memories, some which we hold dearly, others which we are glad happened the way they did and the rest which we wished we are never part of. Before I go deeply into today's article let's see what** ****Abuse and Addiction**** **is all about in my own understanding.**
**Abuse is the inappropriate dealing of people or things by another set of people which result in distress.**
**Addiction in the other hand is the stage of being devoted or having a habit that damages or shorten one's life which results to trauma.**
What causes Abuse?
**There are many factors that aids abuse. Below are some of the factors.**
Family.
**The kind of family we come from determines our state of abuse. Some are abused by their uncle's or Aunty's sexually when their parents aren't there. While in some cases, the father is the abuser in the sense that he might abuse his child sexually or physically like in some cases a father beating a child to a pulp everytime he/she does something that needs to be corrected verbally, mostly because that's how he was trained by his parents, or a stage where the father beats the mother and let the child watch. Also there are cases on a mother abusing her own child sexually. Have heard cases where some mother's who commit these atrocities are been interviewed. You'll hear them say they are in love with their child or some other sick and outrageous response.**
Friends.
**We all know bad friends corrupt good manners. In situations where you follow friends who finds fun or ectasy in raping or taking hard drugs. You'll one day, want to feel among or maybe you just want to have the taste of it. Surely you won't feel well at your first trial but immediately you try it out, your friends won't let you go easily as they'll persuade you to try it again and again until you get good at it, or situations where you have friends that are never contended with what they have and so they abuse their bodies in promiscuity. They may have luck in protecting themselves or having abortion successfully. You one day, see how they flaunt their ' ill gotten wealth' in your face and you might be pushed to do the same which may result to death after countless abortions.**
Educational Facilities.
**We've all gone through basic class, high school, college and Universities. During our days in school. Many of us have seen cases or being the subjects of these cases where some so called ' Teachers or Lecturers ' have molest us or people close to us in many unhealthy ways. In situations where the teacher would have sexual intercourse with her student or lecturers threatening students on extra years if they refuse to make out with them. In these situations students are left with no choice but to oblige unless you have a strong hand backing you up. These cases have been heard in many countries, especially African countries.**
Society.
**Some of us have lived in an unhealthy environment. Where insecurities and bombing are always present. There's a friend of mine who came to sleep over at my place because armed robbers visited her. When she came over she couldn't sleep so I had to play with her and make her feel safe. She was lured into sleep afterwards but she'd wake up at any sound, either from a running tap or from opening a door. This went on for days until I found that she had trauma. I pleaded with her to tell me more on what happened of which she did and right there, I found a way to pacify her but I couldn't help much with the trauma. So I made sure she met with the right people**.
Work.
**Some of us have being unfortunate to come in contact with bosses who throw sexual advances to us. Many have fallen prey to this and can't stop themselves from having sexual intercourse with their bosses. This sometimes tell on the bosses family when the boss discard the old person for a new person. Some will go to the extent of threatening the boss's family when he refuse to give them attention anymore because they have gotten addicted to the ways they are being treated by him.**
How does Abuse and Addiction tally ?
**Addiction and abuse work side by side with themselves. The moment you are being abused and it not been stopped at the early stage, sets in addiction. In a situation where you find happiness in pain and it not been stopped you'll get addicted to it. Like in the movie Fifty shades we can see how Christian Grey was addicted to BDSM (Bondage and Discipline; using physical restrain) , (Domination and Submission; power) ,(Sadism and Masochism; pleasure in pain) and he didn't find any fault in it not until the arrival of Anastasia Steele who made him see that he was abused and now gotten addicted to it.**
How do I stop being addicted?
**First you have to clear your mind from the ectasy of what the abuse brings.**
**Secondly try staying away from whoever or whatever caused the abuse.**
**Thirdly try staying seconds without it, then move to minutes, then hours, then day, then week, then month, then years...and don't get depressed or useless if you go back to it after weeks of staying off, instead just continue trying again and again. Also meet up with a therapist or go out and find fun in other unrelated things. I know this is hard and may be unrealistic but it is worth a trial.**
Is it only people that can abuse us?
**No. Just like I mentioned earlier, we can get abuse by the intake of drugs, social media, even food and movies. I know of some people who would rather starve than stay offline for seconds. Also they are people who will miss their interview because they couldn't stay off the screen and when they realize they missed another interview sets in depression**.
How can I help an abused person.
**You need to have it at the back of your mind that these people sometimes will do things that might set us off but in regardless of what they do, show them love. Love is a beautiful act that can set even a deep addicted person free. Also give them space and don't push them too forward and follow at their place. Don't venture into actions or words that might trigger their painful memories or past. Continue loving them and lifting up their spirits when they feel down. Don't interrupt them when they are telling you stories of their past. Instead listen attentively and pick up necessary points to help them out next time. Hug them and don't judge their actions. Don't forget to also get them in help when needed.**
*There's a wild imagination of mine on abuse and addiction just like it as been stated earlier, it is the unquenchable pain this little petite girl had gone through in the hands of those that are to keep her safe. Day in day out, she got used to this pain until it became part of her. She'd love the sound of whip as it lands on her body, she'd watch in great awe how the whip moved in a dance sync till it lands on her. And then she'd embrace the pain that comes with it like she needed it to be alive. She loved it most when she finds some little toys she can hurt herself with or how she's been dragged under water with no source of energy. She embraces the darkness like it belongs to her very being and won't stop or hurt those that inflict these pains on her because she had found solace in them.*
**Also some verbal words are abusive and can mess with the mental health as some of us are fragile and can't bare harsh words thrown to us. So please be nice in your words towards people. Apart from that, there are people known to abuse animals. If you meet up with this kind of people please report them**.
**Always remember to call for help even when threatened on anyone or things that got you abused. Don't give up on yourself and your happy thoughts for as long as there's hope, there's a beautiful life ahead.**

Selflessness: Do I have to?
**Tons of questions have been asked by people of different ethnicity, colour, beliefs and religion why they have to be selfless, after all it's a believe that 'Humans are greedy by nature'. Then why should they need to be selfless? Why should I be the one to do it, they'll ask?. Before I move on fully to today's article, let's see what selflessness really means.**
**Selflessness in my own word means the ability for an individual or a person to put other individual or persons first without having much concern for oneself. It is also the ability of having to give room for others to survive or evolve when you can have it all to yourself.**
**Below are some of the reasons people have against selflessness.**
Economy.
**It no news that the economy isn't always favourable to people especially those of the lower class. We will see how people will backstab their friends or colleague at work not to get promoted because they want to be there instead. Some will even have it their way in such that they'll refuse to leave a position because it is favourable to them thereby making those who needs to be there after their 4years or 6years of succession not to acquire the position. If you'll ask these people why they won't move to other positions they'll say it is because the position is more favourable to them. But what about others? Haven't you been there for years? Why not let others too have a taste of that position?. Questions will go on and on with still the same obvious answer 'Greed'.**
Finance.
**It is an earthly knowledge that money is the root of evil. There are some organizations who will use the money meant to pay funds to their employees for their personal gain or they'll say it been used for the growth of the company. In such cases the employees will grumble as those who spoke out were being sacked with no hope of them being paid if the company move to greater heights. In some cases, money meant to be distributed to the orphanage homes never got there because those in charge of the funds never gave it out or maybe they gave half of it out and still they won't feel any remorse toward their actions.**
Life.
**This play a crucial role on every individual. Life is Indeed no bed of roses for anyone, including the rich. Life isn't meant to be simple as it as shown us all a great deal. In the lessons towards the circumstances life as thrown toward us, many are tempted to go astray. In a situation where you saw what belongs to someone but because life as shown you a great deal you claim it as yours. After all you'll say, opportunity comes but once. The sentence opportunity comes but once as led many to their early grave and some, unfortunate at the end of their story. There's a story of man who life as shown a lot , he saw a lady's credit card and returned it to her because of his act of selflessness, the lady helped him with a job in her industry and got him an apartment with a car.**
Romance.
**In the case of where two lovers are, it is hard to let go when unforseen circumstances arises. According to the story by** @meitanteikudo **. There was a man named George who loved a lady Mel, they both love and cherish another though Mel was once married but now going through a divorce phase with her husband(John). When she collapsed and black out during a night out with George, he had to rush her to the hospital where the doctor confirmed she had a tumor in her brain and needed to undergo surgery immediately in order to live. When she regained consciousness, she couldn't remember George anymore and only asked for her husband John. Before she undergone the surgery she had a video made of her with George explaining their love life in case she didn't remember. But unfortunately for George, she had amnesia and couldn't remember him but only her husband. George could have shown her the video they made together but instead he deleted it with sorrow filled heart and let go for her to have a fun-filled life with her husband (John).**
Why we need to be selfless.
**Selflessness is very hard and easy to do at the same time. It is hard because of our unquenchable needs and wants, we want to be in the best place, wear the best cloth, party hard without thinking of our account balance and so on.**
**It is easy because we all have conscience and a beating heart. We can calm ourselves by not giving in to what we want at all times and also teach ourselves to be calmer and loving toward ourselves and others.**
What will I gain for being selfless?
**There are tons of unforseen gains attached to being selfless, sometimes it might not come immediately or might not even be done toward us but toward our offsprings. As parents, we can't be everywhere with our sons and daughters, imagine the happiness you'll feel and how your face will glow up if your children came back from school,work or travel one day and hug you tightly with all cheeky smiles, telling you how someone had helped them when they knew who they were because of what you have done to them in the past. Imagine the happiness that will glow into your heart at such gesture. And how your kids will be interested in you telling them how you met that person. You'll see how happy your kids would be as they listen and learn from your story. Now tell me, isn't that a lot of gains?**
How can I be selfless?
**Like I said earlier, you need to learn and teach your heart , brain and soul to be more loving towards people. In regardless of your position in life, try making people happy.**
**Go out and give out to the homeless, prepare a meal to welcome the neighbor next door. Respect people irrespective of their age, work,colour, beliefs or traditions.**
**Be kind with your words and don't only motivate people with your words but be the motivation yourself.**
**Be the stranger people are fortunate to meet with, friends people are fortunate to dine with and parent other parents are glad their children are close to.**
Am I not too old to be selfless?
**There's no perfect age to be selfless as it as no given time or age. You can start by learning the act of being selfless like I have mentioned above or any other ways that can improve your selflessness. Don't forget to teach your children also on the act of selflessness and as you teach them the act of kindness, God will continue to guide you all through the journey and I also.**
*There's a story I heard of a lady some weeks ago who helped her friend get a job at her place of work , even with the fact that the friend was put in a higher position than her she never minded, after some months later when the director came to know that the lady who they employed was brought over by her friend. They upgraded the lady's position and paid her some money with her allowances doubled.*
*Her act of selflessness had not only made her great in life but also attracted her to good people. She could have worked and use the same connection she used to help her friend to the position to help herself. And because the friend had worked well, she was recognized and the lady who brought her in was applauded and upgraded.*
**Always note that no one is perfect in this life and we tend to make mistakes but the way we solve it matters and we should learn to solve it with some act of selflessness. I have been teaching myself a lot lately on selflessness and also learning the act of selflessness, the question you should ask yourself is, will you?**.

Depression: it is time to end my life!.
Depression is a disease that spread like wildfire. Billions of people out there are depressed of one thing or the other. Infact the face that smiles the most holds deep hurted stories words can't express. Before I move on deeply into the word 'depression' I will like to explain what it is.
**Depression in my own word is the act of being sad or not being able to visualize a happy future.**
**The definition alone has a lot of pain attached to it. It is sadden having no happy thought or the ability to day dream about a happy life.**
**Happiness is needed in life and as humans, we cling on any available one we feel but the moment we loose that little thread we hold on to, sets in depression**.
Why do we feel depressed?
**It no way hard to list what makes us depressed if we were been asked. Infact they are more than thousands of reasons we feel depressed. Just like we are born of different families, have different ethnicity, different beliefs, different opinions, different way of life so does how depression varies. Below are some of the things that makes us feel depress.**
Families.
**It okay if you feel families can't make you depress but just note this. In the world today, our families are the people we grew up with(i.e the first people we recognize). These people play a vital role in our life and most times push us to depression. Mostly after you finish your education, they'll expect you start working and take good care of them but the economy do not always agree with this as it is always hard to find good job without connection and this makes some families to mock you and make you feel useless, infact some will make you feel unwanted especially if your little siblings got a better pay job than you do**.
Friends.
**Many have fell victim of peer pressure. My friend just got a good job or as a new car or built a mansion and here I am with nothing. Especially if this friend of yours isn't as good as you and it makes you wonder how he got it when you are much more better than him in many aspects. This makes some people depress and wants to give up on life especially if that friend of yours flaunt his success in your face.**
Marriage.
**This play a vital role in our world today, as humans we all get to a certain age we need to be with someone and start a family just like our parents did. But most times it is hard getting a good partner. People from different angle will ask for your age and when you say I am 30 or 35 years old they'll scream and say, shouldn't you be married? Isn't your cousin who just turned 25 just got married? Aren't most friends of yours married? Do you need spiritual healing? Should they hook you up with someone? . They'll ask countless unending questions and these have push people into depression thinking maybe they are not just good enough for anyone.**
Child bearing.
**This play the most vital role in our world,many have died of depression because they couldn't give birth. The doctor as checked both couples and they are both fine, then where does the problem come from? You'll ask. After taking countless drugs and doing numerous checkups, all still result to the same. Child bearing has crashed some marriages and even that alone brings depression especially when the husband or wife start acting strange thus leaving both parties in doubts which may lead to divorce.**
Divorce.
**Apart from the ex husbands and wives, divorce mainly tell on children. In our society today, children wants to show of their parents to their friends and the world in general,the moment divorce sets in these children loose their source of happiness and this have made some children move away or slip away from the grasp of their parents thereby loosing their parents love and affection. It breaks their heart more if their friends parent are still together and they begin to wonder, did I cause my parents divorce?**
Do the rich feel depressed?
**Yes they do. Depression knows everyone home address and can knock on any door at any time.**
How can depression be managed.
**We can't have it all in life, just like they are happy days so also they are sad days.**
**In term of families, depression can be managed if such family can embrace such person and feel his or her heart with love that better days are coming.**
**In term of friends, the best way is to keep doing what you do best, fill your heart with love and associate with people who motivates you and bring the very best in you and always remember, everyone has is or her destinated time in life.**
**In term of marriage,never let anyone push you to the wall, don't give up and know that love will surely find a way to you irrespective of your age.**
**In term of child bearing, keep praying and take the necessary dosage and don't forget to always make yourself happy or better still, you can get an adoption and love the child as your own and thank God the world is advanced, they are also certain medical ways to aid child birth.**
**In term of divorce, be sure you give your best in your marriage and if it still doesn't work, for the sake of your sanity you can divorce but you'll have to make your child understand and make sure yourself and your partner never let he or she feel neglected.**
*However, there's a story of a lady who almost died of depression in my hostel then in school(happened 2017). It happened that she was heart broken by a guy who she had sacrificed a lot for. Ranging from her school fees, her house rent(which makes her scout with people) and other things she had done for the guy. The guy who claimed he loved her, infact their love story was almost everyone's ideal of how love should be. They were termed the best couple until the incident that occurred which almost claimed her life. After the guy broke up with her(cheated and said he was sorry that they should both go their separate ways after promising her marriage) then came the news that she failed most of her courses because of her inability to pay her fees. She was said to have drank Dettol mixed with hard drugs and was fortunately saved by the person she scout with who called in people who rushed her to a nearby hospital. When she was asked days later why she almost killed herself, she said and I quote " I have no reason to be alive."*
Depression is real and do not thrash people's feeling, if you can't help them, leave and don't add more fire to their already burnt and crippled soul.
Feeling depressed?
Call on friends, colleagues , meet up with strangers, or meet up with any psychologist you know. Don't keep it all stuff up inside, let it all out as they are people who will always listen to you and see the pain behind your smile.
Always remember that your life matters and no matter the circumstances you face in life, you deserve to be alive and day dream on happy thoughts.

Support: I owe no one.
Many people have had countless debate on if anyone owes them support for the times they've been together or what they've done for them or not. Before I go deep into the actions or attitudes that may require support from someone , let me breach into what support truly is.
In my own words, support is something or somebody that helps keep things in place or being with someone in dire time of need either physically, spiritually, emotionally or financially.
What makes our life is our physical, spiritual, emotional and financial aspect which I would like to link to the to the word 'support'.
Physical.
In matter of nature, physical is attached to our senses and body rather than the mind. We need support in our physical form when we are tired or during old age. Many people get saddened when they don't get the support they give. Like during old age you expect your children to be with you but maybe death took them away or work took them away so they hire someone to take care of you but still you aren't satisfied because it is them you need. When we are tired we need someone to fall back on and it breaks us when those people you wish to be there aren't or does not care enough to and you'll ask why... Why aren't they there? With that you term them as bad people.
Spiritual.
This have to do with the soul or our mental and intellectual aspects. In our everyday life, we all pass through different mental phases that makes us question ourselves. In this time of need, we need support from someone, a reassurance from our close ones that we are indeed okay, or someone to pray for us like we did when they needed us but alas! we get the opposite leaving us to go through these phases alone or fortunately with people we never expected to be with us.
Emotional.
In our emotional state, we might be badly broken either from the death of someone or from a relationship saga or from life itself and in this time of need, we need someone or something (music, exercise, traveling , social media e.t.c) to be there for us. A shoulder to cry on or someone to wipe those hurtful tears or someone to just sit there and listen as we pour out our eyes and heart out. And in this time of need we are met with strangers and not people whom we have done so much for and this add more to our broken soul.
Finance.
The world is cruel on most of us when it comes to finance, many of us started from the grassroots and are still striving to make ends meet. In this crucial time we have uncle's, aunt or other family members and friends whom our parent had helped before passing away or after all their wealth got drained, subconsciously we look up to those people to help out but we are left with nothing. And it makes us wonder, but why didn't they? Didn't my dad got him connection when he had nothing? Didn't my mom cook and took them as her own when they had no place to go? Didn't I help with funds when he/she had nothing to eat or transport to the business that made their life fruitful?. Then why didn't they help when I needed help with connections and finance?.
Why no on owes you support.
I know many will disagree with this and you are right to, no one owes you anything, the moment you do something for someone and expects they do the same is the moment you create trouble for yourself. Help without expecting back from the person in return. I know some of you will say, but we are very close, she is like a sister to me and he is like a brother to me. Truly if they are, then don't expect anything from them. Do it like you are doing something free of charge for someone you care about.
Why do we feel pained when people we support doesn't retaliate?
Love. This is the only thing that makes us feel hurt, the fact that we care deeply for someone and will do anything for them hurts us when we realise they won't do the same. The fact that they weren't present in your time of need when your present in theirs hurts so much because we love them.
*There's a story of an acquainted friend of mine who now recently became a good friend. She lost her dad(her mother isn't alive also) last two weeks ago, when she posted it I couldn't believe it. I had to call her to confirm of which she confirmed it was true.*
*Being the kind of person I was, I went to her place and I could see sadness mixed with happiness when she saw me. I hugged her and told her I was here. She smiled and nodded, then she said, I couldn't believe it when I saw you because I didn't even expect you'd come. The person whom she had expected to come didn't show up even when her house was close and when she did two days later, she claimed she had work to do. And didn't seem sorry that she wasn't there for her.*
**Always note that apart from people somethings aren't there also like I mentioned earlier in emotional aspect on music, travelling , exercise for not being there. Sometimes when you need to listen to certain music you realize it as been deleted or your phone got spoilt in that moment or when you need to travel to ease yourself from pain and there's no fund to or when you need to exercise there's no time or place.**
**And always remember that in regardless of whatever happens in life, they are people who will always support you, but don't expect it to be someone you know. Because you have been good to others, surely karma(what goes around comes back around) will always take place.**

Critics? Why?
If many are been asked, they'll say it not good to criticize. But before I go deep into that I'll like to explain what or who critics are in my own word.
**Critics or criticizers are those who finds fault in anything regarding a person, religion, association, beliefs e.t.c.**
**Many of us fall into this group including me, I know some might want to argue that they do not, I do not disagree though but maybe these subtopics below we change your mindset.**
Normal criticizers.
**These are people who criticize silently, sometimes they talk but they prefer to be mute about it and watch from a far distance thus having the criticism in their mind. For example a co worker who doesn't know when to stop talking, or who likes eating anything that comes their way or how a stranger spoke rudely to another stranger. Heck! You dislike this attitudes but still you kept mute over it ,but that still, you criticize. Knowingly or unknowingly you criticize some people beliefs and traditions thus you respect them. For example you criticize mode or worship or what is been worshipped. Some will say "isn't Jesus the way?" Why worship idols?. Or "isn't Mohammed the right prophet to follow?" Why worship the sea? . In regardless of what people worship or how they worship, either be it Hindu, Jews , Islam , Christianity it shouldn't be criticized but respected because they are people's beliefs. But still you criticize and that doesn't make you a bad person. It just can't be helped.**
Abnormal criticizers.
**These are people who criticize everything or everybody that comes their way. They give no chance in hiding their thoughts on people regardless of how it may sound. They criticize on how a co worker had walked pass them without acknowledging them or how fat or slim someone is, or how a co worker or friend had a heavy make up on at work or at a recent birthday party. Neither do they take chance in backlashing people's love life, relationship status, religious beliefs e.t.c. They believe it has to be said for people to know where they stand. Some even meet up face to face and let people know what they think and how they believe it is best,they criticize the project you submitted and how you dress to work.These people are ready to say out loud their critics and have you work on it, but most times some are kind in their approach.**
Chronic criticizers.
**These people are the most rude and uncaring people you'd ever meet. They are everywhere, in fact social media is their second home. They always have their hawk eyes ready to zoom in and criticize any slight mistakes, ranging from bad grammar, poor sentence constructions, uses of tenses, punctuations and many more. Social media had nicknamed them 'Online professors'. You'll see how novel writers are rejected rudely by some of them, including during film production and script writing. Some had be broken by how rudely these people criticize their works, jobs, beliefs , life e.t.c. They are always ready to backlash you and take you 'head on 'on things they believe should be the other way round. They have no mercy and would speak rudely to you at any given time. With the way they correct every slight mistakes you'd think they carry a dictionary or have Wikipedia on them always.**
Does criticizing makes you bad?
**The answer is no, as long as you say it in the right way or you stay mute about it. But it is funny though because without these critics many won't have gone far in their careers. Critics does not mean you are bad, it is also a way of calling people to their mistakes so they'll do better,make notable researches on their work before submitting, proof reading on the needed documents,helping people move out of toxic relationships and motivating people to do more than they'd ever imagine.**
How can I stop being a critic?
**In my own word,I don't believe it can be stopped because we are all humans, which means we are imperfect souls. We can't help things sometimes no matter how restrain we are about it. Like I mentioned earlier criticizing isn't bad as long as you are not rude. But mind you, criticizing is sometimes another way of saying the truth.. however we all know we humans don't like to be told the truth sometimes. We either wants to be lied on to and pampered which shouldn't always be.**
***There's a story I heard about a girl(19) who was cut out of a date with a guy she met because of her age.***
***According to the guy(29), he cut her off because he had a sister of her age and didn't want to date her because he believed she should be facing her studies and working on other*** **notable things**.
***Many applauded the guy for a job well done while others criticized him. Among the critics is a man who called out the guy for letting her go whilst he could have sat her down and educate her.***
***Another added by condemning the guy's attitude towards the girl. Accusing him for not telling the girl what prompt him to cancel the date on the girl. He added that the girl would probably be depressed because of his actions or thinking of what could have happened, maybe it was her head, body or accent that threw him off.***
***Always note that no matter what you do and how you do it, you'd always be criticized and you also will criticize others.***
***The question you should ask yourself is how should you criticize right?.***
