Life is a gift that must be cherished and never taken for granted.

Don't just make plans and procrastinate on them, instead work towards achieving if not all but part of the plan made.

Procrastination won't lead you anywhere, master the act of doing things on time as time waits for no one.

Schedule and reschedule to make sure you didn't put the last thing up.

Happy world's women day to strong, faithful, loving and incredible sisters and mother's all around the world. I wish you all a fantastic day!.

They are certain things you'd wish you never heard or was never told because of how ridiculous, painful or heartless it sounds.

On the article I wrote some days ago at ,https://read.cash/@Balikis/do-it-right-and-the-pains-will-be-felt-once-6f9596e4 I spoke on having my legs fixed by a friend. This friend of mine had a neighbor who with the grace and mercies of God just put to bed.

It was supposed to be a happy day but then I heard something which sounded so ridiculous.

I was told by my friend that her neighbor wasn't able to bring home her baby because she wasn't able to pay up the hospital bills and didn't even take anything along to the hospital.

Not even toiletries!

I was surprised!

Why would she go to the hospital just like that? With nothing!. Didn't plan ahead? Where's her husband? I had these tons of questions pooling down my brain.

And I got answers, answers which clarified what had happened.

It happened to be that the neighbour's husband did gave his wife some money to get things when she wasn't that heavy and instead of her to get the right things like clothes, baby oil, soap and other urgently needed necessities, she got a baby box instead!

A box and some other things which weren't urgently needed.

When I heard this, I shook my head, she didn't set her priorities right.

There's nothing wrong in getting a baby box and plates. All is needed, but the fact that she didn't set her priorities right affected her. She though did multiple scan which showed her it would be late but fortunately the baby came early.

She assumed she had time to get other things. It still far, I will get things done before then and her inability to set her priorities right had made her get ridiculed by others.

The hospital had helped deliver the baby even without deposit and got baby clothes diapers and other urgently needed things for her and the baby.

The hospital will have to pay their staffs as it is a private one. If they let her leave with the baby just like that, we they get paid?.

No!, Though they allowed the woman stay while the husband had to go round to get the hospital bills paid. She was the one who said she wanted to get things from home which they allowed but without allowing the baby go with her.

We all fall into this act of procrastination and not setting our priorities right.

On @gertu13 article https://read.cash/@gertu13/learning-to-live-d13decf8 she told a story of how a girl left home without informing anyone because she felt caged by her parent and wanted to go out to enjoy the world with her boyfriend who promised her a good life.

Such a girl didn't set her priorities right.

Everything as it own time, a time would come when she would leave her parent's place or meet up with the man of her dreams. She won't need to elope with anyone because it is time for her to be with one.

In the case of the story my friend told me, both husband and wife didn't set their priorities right.

The husband knew his wife is pregnant and could have started paying the hospital bills or getting and keeping money for her delivery but he did not.

He had months to prepare this, whereas the wife also failed to set her priorities right.

The moment she knew of her condition, she would have started getting things ready ranging from babies diapers, cloths and other needed materials for herself and her baby.

It is sad though because the baby will have to stay there until the bill is paid in full. He or she would miss the warmth of his or her mother as she had gone to start gathering money to get things for herself and the baby.

The baby would have to stay there, in his healthy state inhaling the hospital smells instead of the beautiful powdered smell of his new home.

We should all try setting things right because it'll do us good. However we lay our bed, so we shall lie on it.

Don't dwell on those things, get them done!. Time flies and can never be caught. Before you'd know it'll be morning again, so why must you sit there and just plan it without taking a step to act on it.

The journey of a thousand miles they say, start with a single step.

Make your step today and don't just jump on it but look well to check if your jumping on the right one or not.

Time lost can never be regained, your age won't reduce no matter how many exercises you do to get fit. You'll grow older.

What memories do you want to create for yourself?

What kind of place do you want to meet yourself at 25 or 65. Though the economy and life doesn't play fair, but still out of the unfairness many still made it through.

Age doesn't stop anyone from getting successful but don't rely on that. Make plans and work towards them in order to get the right result.

Everybody as what he or she is passing through. Don't hold people responsible to always help you out. If they didn't make plans and set their priorities right, who will help who?

Don't just stand there and brood on how unfair life is, whatever it brings to the table, tackle it and bring it down.

You won't be as strong as you are again. Raise up the bricks while there's still strength in you so at the end of the day, you would be left with little or no work.

Sit and recheck the plan made, make changes if need be. Stand up and walk towards it. Don't just sit there forever.

Don't be like the man who was opportuned to have had a once in a lifetime opportunity of getting interviewed in a big company or get a life changing contract and mess things up because he forgot to set his alarm, get his cloth ironed and his shoes in place, get things needed to prepare for the day's meal and didn't even cut his bushy hair to give him a good look.

Instead be the woman who got her cloth ironed, her hair made, breakfast and alarm ready to begin the day's work.

Did you set your priorities right today? If not then, are you ready to set tomorrow's plan?.

Set your alarm, drop your phone and go get things done.

Remember, as you lay your bed, you shall lie on it.

I'm ready to get my plans made, reviewed and also gotten my shoes on to walk towards it, but are you?

Thanks for the usual tips and comments. I love you all!

To my sponsors I appreciate you all and a lovely kiss to my readers.

Thanks for reading and stay safe.

Procrastination is a theft of time, and it's really affecting many people. A lot of people draw out plans but end up not doing the first thing first.

Thanks for the mention of my post. Everything in life requires discipline and the ability to fulfill your purposes. If you are not able to have discipline the road will be longer.

I don't know the state in which she was taken to the hospital, but some of the blame rest on the husband, the neighborhood, the family members, and many more people, glad the baby is already

She left work to the hospital. If she had gotten her priorities right and gotten baby stuff, her neighbors would have helped her in getting them to the hospital.
