The Most Depressing Country: A Prison Country

North Korea is not a joke; it is one of the world's most dangerous countries. It's remote, dangerous, and strict, but most of all, it's depressing.

So here's the schedule for Nas Daily's trip to North Korea. He traveled to North Korea by train, which took him 24 hours from Beijing to the border. You can only enter as part of a group that has been organized by them. And the moment you cross the border, you've entered a completely different universe. Soldiers will inspect everything you own, including every photograph and page of every book you own. No Photographs Allowed!

Soldiers will inspect everything you own, including every photograph and page of every book you own. No Photographs Allowed!

Because religion is "Banned," they make sure you don't have any Bibles, Qurans, or other religious texts with you. There were no political books, nude magazines, internet transmitters, or sensitive data. Soldiers will even take your phone to look at your photos. And it's all understandable because this country is a prison.

Inside, you'll find terrible poverty and isolation, with no freedom, no Wi-Fi, no Facebook, and no way to communicate with the outside world. North Korea is such a tight society that everything is made inside the country. That is, there is no or very limited trade with other countries.

North Korea is destitute, no matter how hard they try to disguise it. People can't afford vehicles, thus there aren't many on the roadway. Because the power constantly going off, there is no stable power inside the residences. Outside of dwellings, poverty is evident, and people are trapped within.

They have a lovely culture, lovely traditions, incredible sports events, circuses, and dances. They are proud individuals, but the issue is... It makes no difference. What matters in North Korea are missiles, tanks, soldiers, and a phony sense of authority! Military displays may be found all around the country, and leaders can be found on every structure. This is what the government must focus on at all costs, not the happiness of the children.

His visit to North Korea lasted barely five days, and it was staged to show you what the leadership wants you to see. And he had an encounter in North Korea on a train, where he was scrutinized by soldiers and luckily no films or images were stolen.

For the typical North Korean, there is no solution; their country is and will remain a prison. It may one day be as prosperous as its South Korean neighbor, but that day is still a long way off.

Author's Viewpoint

We are blessed because we are not born in North Korea, I cried and sad when I heard this documentation abouth North Korea. Many people tried to escape to the country but most of them will die. Let us Pray that North Korea will have freedom Soon. People lived there are like in prison. I realized that we are so blessed because we are free what we want to do in our Country, as long as we didn't violate laws.
