Reforestation : Fruit trees in the school environment
Planting trees is a reforestation activity in our environment that has benefits and an important role for the survival of all living things. In other words, planting trees is the same as planting goodness, meaning that planting trees is the same as caring for human life. Planting trees can be done in areas or hilly areas that are barren and arid as well as in the surrounding environment, such as in the yard or school yard. The purpose of tree planting activities is to green the environment with plants that can absorb water as a source of water reserves.
Here are some corners of the school I teach where some trees are planted. From ornamental trees, flowers, or plants that can be useful for medicine, and fruitful plants.
This time I want to show some fruit trees that are planted in the school environment where I teach. There are mango trees, star fruit, guava etc. It is currently the fruiting season and coincidentally, the trees that are planted bear fruit in the same season so that every tree has fruit. We school residents from teachers and students are allowed to enjoy the fruit. Because this tree is planted to be enjoyed by all school residents from generation to generation. As I recall, these trees were planted in 2014. At that time there was a program to plant fruit trees throughout the school. And now we can enjoy the results.
