Why isn't electronics have a life time guaranteed/warranteed...

Whenever we buy an electronics products, there is a limit of guarantee and warranty on it. Have you know about the difference between both of them? You don't know, then no problem. First of all, let's talk about the difference between guarantee and warranty in an easy way.

Warrantee means that if our product is damaged then we replaced our product. While guarantee means that we can be repaired of our product which doesn't work properly in a valid time limit as free of cost. Otherwise we will have invest our own money on repaired our item.

My Father bought an LED which was priced 130,000(694$). TCL very big company from which we bought this LED. This company has a big name in Pakistan. In the beginning it was going well. But after six months, the screen of LED becomes deteriorate. My father was very upset, he was upset because he invest his own money. This LEd had only one year guarantee. We sent the LED back to the company and complained for repaired. After repair,the LED worked very well for seven months but now a few days ago the same problem happened again.

When we called the company, the owner first heard all the detail from us and then he told my father that it's guarantee time has expired so the company are no responsible for it. He also said that now we have to repaired LED with our own money which will cost 150$.

Isn't a one year guarantee less for such an expensive product?

If this is the case with such big companies then who are we blame to?

The owner of the company end the call by saying that it was your luck (Like seriously was there a test going on here?). Does it really not matter to them how hard we tried to buy it. Such things should be guaranteed for a life time or atleast maximum five years.

My father bought that LED from his retirement money. This money was the result of his forty years of hard work. Now the LED is destroyed, we do not have enough range to pay 150$ for just repair. Too disheartened behaviour from TCL company.

Note: Whenever you buy a big products, clear anything from shopkeeper first, be sure to the guarantee of the product. So, you don't have a problem later.
