A huge shout out to Godmother's/Godfather's (Ninang/Ninong) out there!! Did you save up for this upcoming December because it is a month of "NINANG DUTIES"? Well, Ber months symbolizes that our wallets should be pack up with money because our inaanakshies are preparing their hands to receive a presents from us.

godparents in Christian tradition are present at the christening of the child and promises to see that the child is raised to be a Christian. They may also offer mentorship and/or claim legal guardianship of the child as their own if needed due to circumstances.

We Ninangs/Ninongs are the so-called second parents of our godchildren (inaanak) duties doesn't evolve only by just giving them a penny or support them financially yet we ought to treat them like our own child as well.

Alongside your godchild’s parents, you will

1. Give your time to your godchild to talk to about the bigger questions of life – questions about hope, faith and love.

2. Model and encourage them to develop Christian values – being kind and compassionate towards others, being generous towards others in need with time or money and standing against things in the world that cause injustice and suffering.

3. Pray for your godchild through the ups and downs of their life and their faith journey.

4. Show them practically how to make good choices in life, for themselves and for others. This might mean talking to them about how to stay healthy, how to resist temptations that can harm us and other people, how to care for God’s amazing world and how to handle peer pressure as they grow older.

5. Help them to learn more about the Christian faith, through their church and in other ways. Going to church with them, talking about what the Bible shows us and helping them learn how to pray are all brilliant ways to support your godchild.

I keep on wondering why a lot of people perceived me as a "Ninang Material" in fact I am a jobless being and didn't have a single penny in my wallet. I open this matter to my boyfriend and he just concluded that it is because my wholesome love for children, Aww really? Hehe well yah its true because my heart is filled with joy whenever I saw a lot of adorable little kids, and I guess it's a normal feeling.

Nevertheless, It's my pleasure to introduce to you my six adorable godchildren.

Lets start with,

This cutie curly fella was my first ever godchild and his name is "YOGE CHRIS JERO". He is so sweet and playful. He easily got elated from the moment he saw the beautiful scenery of the sea, he loves to play in the sand and throw some ball sands into you. Chocolate bars is his favorite treat and every time I went to the mall I make sure that I'll bought atleast two chuckie drinks and chocolate biscuits for him. He used to call me "NANANG" and it was kinda cute tho 😍.

Missy is a fashionable little girl and my cousin's beloved daughter. She loves to strike a pose everytime she saw a camera (Future Model). This lil fella is a good dancer too and she always show me her winning moves.

See that wide toothless smile? Yes that's Kiara my cheerful godchild. The only thing that I could describe her was, she has a very delicate and bubbly personality. I love to cuddle her so much because she has an irresistible and plumpy skin (that's how cetaphil works) as well as chubby cheeks that will definitely give you a gigil-effect😬.

There would be no boring moments when I am with this hyper kid. He tend to run as fast as he could and shout as loud as he could whenever he seize a lot of children that wants to play with him. He is a little bit harsh and slap his playmates when he tend to feel extreme excitement, well that's how he is lol. Aside from that he is a milktea lover and loves to collect huge truck toys and bouncy balls.

Nathan was indeed a Mama's boy. He is so attached with her loving mom. This adorable kid was a puny child, he prefers to play inside with her mom and dad because he is not used to meet people with unfamiliar faces. However, the most amazing thing about him was he is a great worshipper of God just like his mom and dad, he tend to lift his hands higher and sing hallelujah to the Lord with all his might everytime her parents used to play Christian songs, and that was extremely cute and pleasing to witness.

To all my godchildren and future godchildren;

Even though your godmother is imperfect, there are occasions when I can't go and sometimes fail to give you some gifts. But keep in mind that I am always here to support you all and I will do my very best to be a one-call-away Ninang whenever you need help. Lastly, I'll keep on making every effort just to see all your charming faces wearing brilliant smiles.
