Macramé an art for bracelets | Tutorial
Each art is unique and everyone imposes it in their style, particularly macramé is making art with the threads through the different knots. From my pedagogical point of view, making these bracelets is reinforcing the development of different cognitive, psychomotor and emotional aspects since the process involves important factors such as: attention, discipline, perseverance, fine motor skills, laterality, direction, term-to-term correspondence, motivation, among others. Each bracelet marks a challenge when making it, that's why I like, apart from combining the colors I want, deciding what type of fabric it will have and how long it will have, it produces in my feeling of peace and tranquility, just as it happens when I'm painting. I hope you like it.
Red and white bracelet | Macrame
Materials: .
3 white threads 1.50 cm long.
3 red threads 1.50 cm long. (they can be of any material you choose)
Base to hold with its clip
Pair of scissors.
Tinder or lighter.
Elaboration process
You join the 6 threads at one end with a knot leaving 10 cm towards the ends.
Press the knot threads upwards with the clamp on the board (if you don't have a clamp or board, look for something heavy that does the same function)
Start by making the S knot (simple or simple knot) with the color you prefer, you must take all the threads of the same color to make a single knot on top of the other.
In this way, the knots should be assembled by color and thickness.
When finished with the desired size to the wrist of the hand, finish off with a knot joining all the threads
Then you join the two knots at the beginning and the end to cut the remaining threads to the same size.
Then you make the union knot or sliding knot of the bracelet, you place the 6 threads on one side and the 6 on the other one on top of the other, leaving the opposite ends, I pressed them with the clamp but if you do not have it, it is not trouble. Then, with a 15 cm thread of the color you choose, join the threads and begin to make S or simple knots, as many as you think necessary
You cut the excess ends and burn the tips with the tinderbox.
This is how my bracelet turned out
