People who have not dreamed may not be found in the world. People dream almost always. The things we think about all day long come to our dreams after we sleep at night.
Many people think so. Again, many believe in dreams. But science has no value in fiction.
So let's not exaggerate some scientific explanations about dreams-
1- According to psychologists, if you have insomnia at night, it means that you may have been living in someone else's dream. I mean maybe someone was dreaming about you. Which is why you didn't sleep well at night.
2- Those who have the habit of blowing their nose while sleeping at night, they usually dream less or do not see. Because science thinks that sniffing and dreaming are not possible at the same time. (To me it seems like a lie).
3- Science says that on an average a person has about 1460 dreams a year. That means an average of about 4 per night. (Tell me, is it believable? Do you dream 4 times a day?)
4- Our brain cannot make any appearance. That is, we have seen all the people we see in our dreams at some point in our lives. As the saying goes, we see unruly faces on the road that we can't remember.
But our subconscious mind holds it and dreams later. After waking up again in the morning but we can no longer remember who we saw at night while sleeping.
5- Every human being dreams. If you think you don't dream it means you can't remember it or you are suffering from a complex mental illness.
৬- Man spends about 8 years in his life cycle dreaming.
৭- Did you know that pregnant women can remember more dreams than us? This is because they have excessive hormonal changes during pregnancy.
6- We forget about 50 percent of a dream in 5 minutes, and in the next 10 minutes we forget about 90 percent. That's why I can't remember the dream I had last night.
9- We usually dream about 90 to 180 minutes where, on an average, the duration of a dream is about 10 to 15 minutes. The longest time I dream is in the morning which lasts from 30 to 45 minutes. (But I knew that each of our dreams lasts only 4 seconds, so which one is true)
10- Usually children have more nightmares. Evidence of this, many times you will see children suddenly start waking up and start crying.
Hi! Nice post! I was just wondering: in N1, you say "according to psychologists", if you can't sleep at night then you might be awake in someone else's dream. Are you quite sure that it is the right way to put it? I have heard about this being a superstition or a part of a fairytale, but it does not sound like it could be backed up with evidence or could be an opinion expressed by a medical professional, could it?
