Jane can't stop thinking about the story she heard. After that day, her baby got fever last for a week. So she decided to go to an albularyo, to know what's the meaning of her neighbor sees and her sons fever. The albularyo said that he saw an old lady it was guarding them and want to have the child. Jane remembered her in-law. The albularyo told them to go far from their home, go ride a ferry and stay away there.

Jane didnt believe to what the albularyo said. Until one night, there was a strong storm in their province Jane saw a big shadow of a dog on her window and her baby cries so loud. Jane got scared. Jane rushed closed the door and windows and hug her baby. The storm last for hours.

When the storm stop, her baby stop crying. She took her baby and she felt that it didnt breathe. She checked its heart beat. Jane starts to cry and asked for help. Her neighbors went to her house and saw the baby dead. The neighbors helped Jane and her baby but they didnt do anything to revive the baby. They called the albularyo and he told them that the baby was dead and asked Jane why did she didnt listen to him. Her baby was with the old lady now in the forest near them. They cannot do anything to get back her babies life.

Jane just sit and cried, hugged her baby. Jane buried her baby.

After the dead of her baby she went back to her parents in Manila. She brought the memories of her baby and start a new life look for a job. Everytime she has day off she went to her baby and visit him.

After those happen she didnt feal the presence of the shaddow that follows her. Jane still misses her baby.

It's not a happy ending. Jane can't forget what happen to her. But she's strill trying to be okay.
