Hi everyone I hope you guys are having a great day I'm here with my new article I've decided to try something different as I always talk about my assets or journey or Cryptocurrencies. Now I'm not saying I'll stop talking about them but I thought I should write about something else as well as I love to write about feelings and mental health that is important too so let's talk about it today.πŸ’œ

We take care of our physical health we take rest eat healthy sleep on time and do exercise to keep ourselves fit and physically healthy but that's not enough, like our physical health, our mental health also requires attention and care to work properly so here are 6 habits that we should follow to stay mentally strong

1) Try to control your emotions

The best thing one could do is to control his emotions and don't let them control them, that means if there's something wrong going on in your life that is making you sad like job stress, exams or fights, or anything else, don't let it affect you completely, don't let it ruin your happy moments try to cheer yourself up and don't let your mind or these negative feelings control you. Because when we let our emotions Or our mind control us we can't let the negative feelings go away from us it keeps hitting us and don't let us enjoy our happy moments so Don't let it do this.

2) You questions your thoughts

Psychology says when you question your thoughts and beliefs it makes you more active mentally and it's a symptom of high intelligence. People who often wonder why the earth is flat or round why gravity exists why people believe there's God and things like that it keeps your mind active and when you question certain things you try to look for the answers which you could get from the internet or from different people around the world it helps you and increases your knowledge that keeps your brain healthy. So don't just settle yourself for any answers, try to question them and find the answers by yourself.

3)Set Healthy boundaries

To keep yourself mentally healthy and strong, the most important thing that you should do is to set boundaries for yourself. boundaries mean you should always keep yourself as a priority and don't let others treat you like trash, when we don't set healthy boundaries for ourselves people use us like a doormat they'll use you and will come to you every time they need their work to be done even when they could do it and you can't they will still put the burden on you, so learn to set boundaries, it's good to be kind and help people but learn to say no, realize when they actually need help and when they're just using you don't let anyone abuse you it could destroy your mental health completely.

4)Learn from your mistakes

Another effective way to keep yourself mentally strong is to accept your mistakes and learn from them. We're humans we're not perfect we make mistakes have bad days and face failures there's nothing wrong with that, but it is wrong when we give up we stop trying or blame others for our mistakes. There's no way we could grow mentally if we don't accept our mistakes, so the best way to achieve success in life is to accept your mistakes to see where things went wrong and try to work on that area, and learn to not repeat those mistakes, it helps you to think openly and motivates you to work hard and make yourself better.

5 Break from social media

Social media has become an addiction now no one's not using social media especially our young generation is always on social media and social media do have good aspects and we can get knowledge from it but at the same time, there are so many negative aspects of using social media. On social media, we could see something that could be abusive to us or it can take us back to some past traumas, also when we use social media like Instagram and Facebook we see the lifestyle of different people and compare our lives with theirs and it makes us ungrateful and depressed too and spending too much time on social media can affect both our mental and physical health so we should use social media but within a limit and should not make it an addiction.

6)Have Time for yourself

Working hard, setting goals, and being productive is good but you should know when to take a break yourself from the busy schedule and take care of yourself. Sometimes we feel so motivated towards something or so productive or we take the pressure of something so much that we forget to take rest and ends up getting mentally stressed and physically ill, so it's better to set a time table for everything in which you must have one or two hours for yourself, you could sit in a quiet place or enjoy the beauty of nature you could listen to music or just lay down to give yourself rest because you're important and taking a break makes your brain and body ready for extra work and you become more productive both mentally and physically.
