Fetal development To my loving sponsored who continue support me here in read.cash thank you so much. How we start our life? Within 24 hours after fertilization, the egg that will become a baby rapidly divides into many cells. By the eighth week of pregnancy, the embryo develops into a fetus. There are about 40 weeks to a typical pregnancy. These weeks are divided into three trimesters.but i simplify steps by steps how life start, Terms: Insemination- deposition of the sperm cell in the female genital tract. Ovum or egg cell- female sex cell or female gamate Oogenesis- development and maturation of ovum Ovulation- release of ovum from the ovary Spermatozoa or sperm cell- male sex cell or male gamate Spermatogenesis- maturation of sperm **First trimester** The first trimester will span from conception to 12 weeks. This is generally the first three months of pregnancy. During this trimester, the fertilized egg will change from a small grouping of cells to a fetus that is starting to have a baby’s features. **Month 1 (first week up to 4 weeks)** As the fertilized egg grows, a water-tight sac forms around it, gradually filling with fluid. This is called the amniotic sac, and it helps cushion the growing embryo. During this time, the placenta also develops. The placenta is a round, flat organ that transfers nutrients from the mother to the fetus, and transfers wastes from the fetus. Think of the placenta as a food source for the fetus throughout your pregnancy. In these first few weeks, a primitive face will take form with large dark circles for eyes. The mouth, lower jaw and throat are developing. Blood cells are taking shape, and circulation will begin. The tiny "heart" tube will beat 65 times a minute by the end of the fourth week. By the end of the first month, the fetus is about 1/4 inch long – smaller than a grain of rice. **Month 2 (fifth weeks up to eight week)** Facial features continue to develop. Each ear begins as a little fold of skin at the side of the head. Tiny buds that eventually grow into arms and legs are forming. Fingers, toes and eyes are also forming. The neural tube (brain, spinal cord and other neural tissue of the central nervous system) is well formed now. The digestive tract and sensory organs begin to develop too. Bone starts to replace cartilage. The head is large in proportion to the rest of the body at this point. At about 6 weeks, a heartbeat can usually be detected. After the 8th week, healthcare providers refer to it as a fetus instead of an embryo. By the end of the second month, the fetus is about 1 inch long and weighs about 1/30 of an ounce. **Month 3 (nine weeks up to twelve weeks)** The arms, hands, fingers, feet and toes are fully formed. At this stage, the fetus is starting to explore a bit by doing things like opening and closing its fists and mouth. Fingernails and toenails are beginning to develop and the external ears are formed. The beginnings of teeth are forming under the gums. The reproductive organs also develop, but gender is still difficult to distinguish on ultrasound. By the end of the third month, the fetus is fully formed. All the organs and limbs (extremities) are present and will continue to develop in order to become functional. The circulatory and urinary systems are also working and the liver produces bile. At the end of the third month, the fetus is about 4 inches long and weighs about 1 ounce. Since the most critical development has taken place, your chance of miscarriage drops considerably after three months. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/miscarriage **Second trimester** This middle section of pregnancy is often thought of as the best part of the experience. By this time, any morning sickness is probably gone and the discomfort of early pregnancy has faded. The fetus will start to develop facial features during this month. You may also start to feel movement as the fetus flips and turns in the uterus. During this trimester, many people find out whether their baby will be designated male or female at birth. This is typically done during an anatomy scan (an ultrasound that checks physical development) around 20 weeks. **Month 4 (13 weeks to 16 weeks)** The fetal heartbeat may now be audible through an instrument called a doppler. The fingers and toes are well-defined. Eyelids, eyebrows, eyelashes, nails and hair are formed. Teeth and bones become denser. The fetus can even suck his or her thumb, yawn, stretch and make faces. The nervous system is starting to function. The reproductive organs and genitalia are now fully developed, and your doctor can see on ultrasound if the fetus will be designated male or female at birth. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/prenatal-ultrasound By the end of the fourth month, the fetus is about 6 inches long and weighs about 4 ounces. **Month 5 (17 to 20 weeks)** At this stage, you may begin to feel the fetus moving around. The fetus is developing muscles and exercising them. This first movement is called quickening and can feel like a flutter. Hair begins to grow on the head. The shoulders, back and temples are covered by a soft fine hair called lanugo. This hair protects the fetus and is usually shed at the end of your baby's first week of life. The skin is covered with a whitish coating called vernix caseosa. This "cheesy" substance is thought to protect fetal skin from the long exposure to the amniotic fluid. This coating is shed just before birth. By the end of the fifth month, the fetus is about 10 inches long and weighs from 1/2 to 1 pound. **Month 6 (21 weeks to 24 weeks)** If you could look inside the uterus right now, you would see that the fetus's skin is reddish in color, wrinkled and veins are visible through translucent skin. The finger and toe prints are visible. In this stage, the eyelids begin to part and the eyes open. The fetus responds to sounds by moving or increasing the pulse. You may notice jerking motions if the fetus hiccups. If born prematurely, your baby may survive after the 23rd week with intensive care. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/premature-labor By the end of the sixth month, the fetus is about 12 inches long and weighs about 2 pounds. **Month 7 (25 to 28 weeks)** The fetus continues to mature and develop reserves of body fat. At this point, hearing is fully developed. The fetus changes position frequently and responds to stimuli, including sound, pain and light. The amniotic fluid begins to diminish. If born prematurely, your baby would be likely to survive after the seventh month. At the end of the seventh month, the fetus is about 14 inches long and weighs from 2 to 4 pounds. **Third trimester** This is the final part of your pregnancy. You may be tempted to start the countdown till your due date and hope that it would come early, but each week of this final stage of development helps the fetus prepare for birth. Throughout the third trimester, the fetus gains weight quickly, adding body fat that will help after birth. Remember, even though popular culture only mentions nine months of pregnancy, you may actually be pregnant for 10 months. The typical, full-term pregnancy is 40 weeks, which can take you into a tenth month. It’s also possible that you can go past your due date by a week or two (41 or 42 weeks). Your healthcare provider will monitor you closely as you approach your due date. If you pass your due date, and don’t go into spontaneous labor, your provider may induce you. This means that medications will be used to make you go into labor and have the baby. Make sure to talk to your healthcare provider during this trimester about your birth plan. **Month 8 (29 to 32 weeks)** The fetus continues to mature and develop reserves of body fat. You may notice more kicking. The brain developing rapidly at this time, and the fetus can see and hear. Most internal systems are well developed, but the lungs may still be immature. The fetus is about 18 inches long and weighs as much as 5 pounds. **Month 9 (33 to 36 weeks)** During this stage, the fetus continues to grow and mature. The lungs are close to being fully developed at this point. The fetus has coordinated reflexes and can blink, close the eyes, turn the head, grasp firmly, and respond to sounds, light and touch. The fetus is about 17 to 19 inches long and weighs from 5 ½ pounds to 6 ½ pounds. **Month 10 (37 to 40 weeks)** In this final month, you could go into labor at any time. You may notice that less movement because space is tight. At this point, The fetus's position may have changed to prepare for birth. Ideally, it's head down in your uterus. You may feel very uncomfortable in this final stretch of time as the fetus drops down into your pelvis and prepares for birth. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/9675-pregnancy-types-of-delivery Your baby is ready to meet the world at this point. They are about 18 to 20 inches long and weigh about 7 pounds. Welcome the true world with presence of God

Diabetes complication during Pregnant Diabetes mellitus (DM) Is a metabolic disorder that is characterized by hyperglycemia and glucose intolerance, which is associated with impaired insulin secretion and peripheral sensitivity and eventual b-cell dysfunction. This review summarized the major metabolic pathways leading to both microvascular and macrovascular complications in DM, with a view of highlighting the enzymes involved and the possible inhibition of the enzymes facilitating these processes as a measure of diabetic control. While any pregnancy complication is concerning, there's good news. Expectant mothers can help control gestational diabetes by eating healthy foods, exercising and, if necessary, taking medication. Controlling blood sugar can keep you and your baby healthy and prevent a difficult delivery. Clasiffications of Diabetes during pregnantcy: **TYPE 1 DIABETES** Women who have type 1 diabetes **can have a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby**, but it's important to monitor diabetes complications that could worsen throughout pregnancy, such as high blood pressure, vision loss, and kidney disease.  Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disorder. The body's immune system damages the cells in the pancreas that make insulin. Type 1 diabetes often occurs in children or young adults, but it can start at any age. **Type 2 diabetes.**  This is when the body can’t make enough insulin or use it normally. It’s not an autoimmune disease. Is an impairment in the way the body regulates and uses sugar (glucose) as a fuel. This long-term (chronic) condition results in too much sugar circulating in the bloodstream. Eventually, high blood sugar levels can lead to disorders of the circulatory, nervous and immune systems. Overweight women are more likely to have Type 2 diabetes **Gestational diabetes** A condition characterized by an elevated level of glucose in the blood during pregnancy, typically resolving after the birth. Gestational diabetes usually shows up in the middle of pregnancy. Doctors most often test for it between 24 and 28 weeks of pregnancy. Often gestational diabetes can be controlled through eating healthy foods and regular exercise. Sometimes a woman with gestational diabetes must also take insulin. Gestational diabetes develops when your body isn’t able to produce enough of the hormone insulin during pregnancy. Insulin is necessary to transport blood glucose into the cells. Without enough insulin, you can build up too much glucose in your blood, leading to a higher-than-normal blood glucose level and perhaps gestational diabetes. The elevated blood glucose level in gestational diabetes is caused by hormones released by the placenta during pregnancy. The placenta produces a hormone called the human placental lactogen (HPL), also known as human chorionic somatomammotropin (HCS). It’s similar to growth hormone (so it helps the baby grow), but it actually modifies the mother’s metabolism and how she processes carbohydrates and lipids. HPL actually raises maternal blood glucose level and makes a woman's body less sensitive to insulin—less able to use it properly. If the body doesn’t use insulin as it should, then the blood glucose levels will rise. The HPL hormone increases the blood glucose level so that the baby can get the nutrients it needs from the extra glucose in the blood. At 15 weeks, another hormone—human placental growth hormone—also increases and causes maternal blood glucose level to rise. This hormone is also supposed to help regulate the mother’s blood glucose level to be sure that the baby gets the right amount of needed nutrients. It’s normal for women’s blood glucose levels to go up a bit during pregnancy because of the extra hormones produced by the placenta. However, sometimes, the blood glucose level goes up and stays high. Should this happen, gestational diabetes is associated with an increased risk of type 2 diabetes developing in the child. How is diabetes during pregnancy treated? Treatment will depend on your symptoms, your age, and your general health. It will also depend on how severe the condition is. **Treatment focuses on keeping blood glucose levels in the normal range, and may include**: A careful diet with low amounts of carbohydrate foods and drinks Exercise Blood glucose monitoring Insulin injections Oral medicines for hypoglycemia  How to prevent Diabetes Not all types of diabetes can be prevented. Type 1 diabetes usually starts when a person is young. Type 2 diabetes may be avoided by losing weight. Healthy food choices and exercise can also help prevent Type 2 diabetes. **How to manage:** Special testing and monitoring of the baby may be needed for pregnant diabetics, especially those who are taking insulin. This is because of the increased risk for stillbirth. These tests may include. Thank you for the time

What is Diabetes Mellitus? Hi everyone before we learned from my article let me first say thank you to my believers, this wonderful person continue believing me and support me all the time, even i m not good enough, because of them i have more power do make some article, thank you mga sissy. Diabetes Mellitus Is a hereditary endocrine disorder characterized by inadequate or lack of insulin production that result in impaired glucose absorption and metabolism res ulting in hyperglycemia. Diabetes mellitus refers **to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood sugar (glucose)**. Glucose is vital to your health because it's an important source of energy for the cells that make up your muscles and tissues. It's also your brain's main source of fuel. Signs and Symptoms; Hyperglycemia or (high blood glucose)  There is too much sugar in the blood because the body lacks enough insulin. Associated with diabetes, hyperglycemia can cause vomiting, excessive hunger and thirst, rapid heartbeat, vision problems and other symptoms. Untreated hyperglycemia can lead to serious health problems. The islets of Langerhans of the pancreas are the producers of insulin. The most important function of the insulin is to enable glucose to enter adipose and muscles cells to be utilizes as a source of energy. In diabetes mellitus, the pancreas does not produce enough insulin. This glucose is unable to enter the cells and accumulates in the bloodstream resulting in hyperglycemia. Glycosuria is a term that **d**efines the presence of reducing sugars in the urine, such as glucose, galactose, lactose, fructose, etc. Glucosuria connotes the presence of glucose in the urine and is the most frequent type of glycosuria and is the focus of this review. a condition characterized by an excess of sugar in the urine, typically associated with diabetes or kidney disease. When blood glucose level goes beyond the renal threshold for sugar, glocuse spills in the urine. Polyuria (excessive urination) Is urine output of > 3 L/day; it must be distinguished from urinary frequency, which is the need to urinate many times during the day or night but in normal or less-than-normal volumes. If you have a condition called polyuria, it's because your body makes more pee than normal. Adults usually make about 3 liters of urine per day. But with polyuria, you could make up to 15 liters per day. It's a classic sign of diabetes Glucose attracts water so that when it is excreated in the kidney it bring along with it large amounts of water resulting in excessive urination. Polydipsia ( feeling of extreme thirstiness.) Abnormally great thirst as a symptom of disease (such as diabetes) or psychological disturbance. Is often linked to urinary conditions that cause you to urinate a lot. This can make your body feel a constant need to replace the fluids lost in urination.  Polydipsia occurs in untreated or poorly controlled diabetes mellitus. The excretion of large amount of fluids from the body leads to dehydration.Excessive thirst or polydipsia is an important symptoms of dehydration. Weight loss In people with diabetes, insufficient insulin prevents the body from getting glucose from the blood into the body's cells to use as energy. When this occurs, the body starts burning fat and muscle for energy, causing a reduction in overall body weight. Since glucose cannot be utilized as a source of energy, the body uses its protein and fats stores in the muscles and adipose tissue resulting to weight loss. As of now let we think about signs and symptoms in diabetic next day i will make article about COMPLICATIONS OF DIABETICS AND MANAGEMENT. i hope you enjoy and learn about this article, God blessed and take care.

Precipitate labor and delivery good morning to everyone here at read.cash, before i start my article i would like to thank my first and only sponsor https://read.cash/@Bloghound thank you so much for trusting me in my ability even though my profession is far from the medical field to writing you are still there to support me, thank you very much, What Is Precipitous Labor? This kind of labor is abnormal labor and delivery. Precipitous labor, also called rapid labor, is defined as **giving birth after less than 3 hours of regular contractions**. 1 Sometimes it's also called precipitous labor if labor lasts anywhere under 5 hours. It is also occurs without warning. Contractions are the first stage of labor and usually build up in intensity as labor progress. so, woman who are going through precipitate labor can sometimes experience very intense cramps right from the start. Classified as; Precipitate Dilation > When cervical dilation is progressing at a rate of 5 cm or more per hour in nulliparas ( first delivery). Precipitate Descent >When the fetal descent is progressing at a rate 5 cm per hour or more in nulliparas and 10 cm per hour or more in multiparas (more than 2 delivery) Reason or Causes; Multiparity > woman who has already delivered two or more infants who have achieved a gestational age of 24 weeks or more, and such women are traditionally considered to be at higher risk than the average in subsequent pregnancies. Large pelvis > Wider hips provide plenty of room for a baby to pass through the pelvic bones. But hip size isn't the only factor that affects your birth experience Small baby in good position Absence of painful sensation and thus a lack of awareness of vigorous labor. Complications; Maternal (Mothers) >Laceration of birth canal and uterine rupture (because they are not aware that the infant will come out so they can't assist well or guide so there is a higher chance that there will be more damage to the birth canal(vagina) Fetal (baby) >Injuries such as falling to the floor in unattended birth(due to unexpected or sudden labor the child is more likely to fall to the floor,) Signs and symptoms (The manifestation of precipitate labor and delivery are similar to women with normal labor pattern but they appear suddenly with out warning) Mothers complains of a sudden, intense urge to push Sudden increase in bloody show Sudden bulging of the perineum Sudden crowning of the presenting part. Management Anticipatory guidance for prevention Call for help. Do not leave the mothers alone If time permits, wash hands and wear any gloves ( you have no choice kundi hilain kung lumabas na) Speak in calm tone using short sentence Ask mothers to pant not to push (Para mas maiwasan ang mas malaking laceration). Thank you for the time and reading, hopefully you have learned something and you can apply if there is such an emergency. Please be patient with my grammar and English, and thank you very much.
