Different types of book reader's.
When it comes to learning, there are several types of readers, each with their own reading style, preferred reading position, and other characteristics.
I've met a variety of readers and their reading styles, but I'm going to concentrate on book readers.
Let us discuss the many sorts of book readers we have;
The book collector.
Finishes too soon.
Buys only for the pretty cover.
Never completes ( But still buys more).
The bookworm.
The borrower.
Lives in the library.
Takes forever to choose a book.
Let's take a closer look at the many types of book readers so we can better understand them.
*The book collector; Many people i've met are book collectors; they only collect books to retain and read when they have free time, but they are more concerned with continuing to gather to keep and read on any given day.
*Finishes too soon;To me, these kind of people are fast readers; you might see them open the first page and read it, but before you can move an inch, they'll be on the second to last half of the page; I have a buddy who reads like that and knows everything in the book.
*Buys only for the pretty cover; This group of people I'll refer to as "lookers" rather than "readers," because they are more interested in the book's gorgeous cover than the content it will convey to them, so they bought it mostly for the fancy design the author employed to entice them.
*Never completes ( But still buys more); This type of reader buys books to read but never finishes them before discarding them and buying another. They find it difficult to finish one book before moving on to the next, so they buy more to keep instead of reading them one at a time.
*The bookworm; This group of people are true book readers; they buy books and enjoy reading them before moving on to the next. I consider myself to be one of these people because I enjoy reading intriguing books and finishing them rather than discarding them to buy another.
*The borrower; This group of people borrows books to read, albeit I'll divide them into two groups: those who borrow books to read a preview of what the book is about without reading the complete context, and those who borrow books to read what the book is about.
*Lives in the library; This group of people is typically found in libraries trying to read different books, page by page. They spend more time in libraries reading books to understand them and are rarely seen outdoors doing nothing.
*Takes forever to choose a book; I consider myself to be in this category of readers as well, because I often find it difficult to choose books that I can read; it takes longer to find a book that is interesting because when I look at a preview of what it is, I may not be interested in it, so I'll keep looking; this group of people takes time to choose books.
Quote of the day;Find your greatest path and stick to it; do things that satisfies you rather than others; we only have one life to live; let us live it the way we want it, not the way others want it.
In conclusion.
Find the greatest way for you to read books, whether it's in a library or somewhere else; just make sure you're a good reader.
Reading is about gaining knowledge, so let's strive to read more in order to obtain more knowledge when we read.
