I was on noisecash when McKane post about 2021 wil be unforgettable in sports history although I don’t know about other sports because I’m basically in football always and I think any other sports is a counterfeit. Lol pardon me if you like other sports than football but football fans will always tell you that football is the best sports in the whole world and it’s true.
Many things/New happened this 2021 which makes its unforgettable ohh 😲 the year really worths it.
THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN 2021 FOOTBALL
Lionel Messi is the first I’m going to list because he did many things and many different ways.
firstly he won the Copa America trophy 🏆 which he hasn’t won in his career and has been aiming for it although he gets to final like two time but he couldn’t get it then and this year 2021 he won playing against though opponent ( Brazil) most people booed him that he can’t achieve anything with Argentina team and he did.
secondly, he broke so many Pele’s records this same 2021. Records like the highest goal scorers in America, most Hat-trick scored, most assists and many more that I couldn’t remember. Oh sorry he also broke he’s record has the second highest goal scorer in the world.
Nobody I mean nobody that watch football will ever think that Leo Messi will leave Fc Barcelona this 2021 it’s one of the most amazing things that happened this same year nobody I repeat will think he’s going to leave Fc Barcelona for Paris Saint German.
And the best new for all Leo’s fans is Messi winning his 7th ballon d’or trophy 🏆 and the first player to win the trophy in Paris Saint German. It’s really amazing year for Lionel Messi, his family and his fans.
Cristiano Ronaldo going back to his former club ( Manchester United) that brought him out of Sporting Fc in Portugal league down to Premier. Ronaldo left Juventus this same year for Manchester United. Juventus has been Ronaldo’s worst club since coming to top clubs. He won champions league with Manchester United and many in Real Madrid but unfortunately he couldn’t win any at Juventus. And even till now he’s the highest goal scorer of both Juventus and Manchester United in 2021.
Xavi and Davi Alves nobody ever thought both of this club legend will return back to Barcelona but it happens this same year although Xavi has convinced us that he his going to play the Barcelona tactics ( Tiki-Taka) and we Barca fans has witnessed that it remain the right back legend ( Dani Alves) to convince his fans that he can still work very perfectly for the team.
And the crucial event that happened in the euro 2020 which is Christian Eriksen’s collapsed while any player didn’t hit or fouled him. Well all thanks to God, referee and players who instantly called the attention of the first aid. ⛑ Glory be to God he’s fine and ready to be on pitch back although the Italy football board doesn’t accept him to play football there again.
And also the Sergio Ramos’s move from Real Madrid to Paris Saint German was shocking as most of football lovers thought he’s going to end his career at Madrid but it couldn’t be. And guess what Marie will be fighting against Paris in the next round of the champions league which Ramos said “I’m going to fight for PSG” Ramos is one of the greatest defender in the world of football.
events that happened this same 2021 that leads to the retirement of a player KUN AGUERO nobody ever thought it’s going to happen to him even himself can’t believe that until he was told that he won’t be able to play football again. Few days ago he announced it to all media’s in which many clubs and players wishes him well.
Some events also happened like the ballon d’or creating new trophy for Lewandowski, Pedri Gonzalez winning the Golden boy and Kopa trophy, Putelas ( Barcelona woman player) being the first Spanish woman player to win the Ballon d’or trophy and Guadiola’s player winning 113 points in a calendar which also happens this year 2021.
You can see alots really happened is year 2021 in football as they are still many that I didn’t even mentioned.

So sad am heartbroken seeing Aguero and Eriksen retirement. But anyway health is more important.
A lot of things happened this season in football that you have listed and didn't even mention some as you said. We also see Lewandowski equalize Cristiano's goals record in a calendar year and Tadic outshine Messi assist in a calendar year.
And also the worst part is the Covid-19 issue which has affect the world of football lead to the postponed of different matches. But zero death record, big thanks to God.
