Intelligence in ourself

Let's have a healthy discussion.

When an average-intelligence person is confronted with an issue, they frequently battle with it for a few minutes, hours, or even days before throwing in the metaphorical towel.

When confronted with an issue, a genius will sit and ponder it. When they are unable to discover an immediate solution, they place it on the mental shelf. Days pass as they divert their attention to a secondary task and/or problem that they seek to tackle. After several days or months, the genius is showering, brushing their teeth, or going for a walk when the solution comes to them like toast from a toaster.

The difference between an average intelligent person and a genius is that the genius declares, "I will solve this problem."

"There is no solution," a person of average intelligence declares.

Whoever seeks a solution to a problem will eventually find it in his palm.

Whoever believes that obtaining a solution to a problem is too difficult or unattainable will bang his head against a brick wall erected by himself.

"A man of average intelligence is a genius who harbors imprudent beliefs and attitudes toward issues that he perceives to be larger than himself."

Psychologists classify intelligence into four categories:

Intelligence Quotient (IQ)

Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

Social Quotient (SQ)

Adversity Quotient (AQ)

• Intelligence Quotient (IQ): this is a quantitative measure of your ability to comprehend information.Answering math problems, memorizing information, and recalling lessons all require intelligence.

• Emotional Quotient (EQ): this is a measure of your ability to keep peace with others, stick to a schedule, be responsible, be honest, respect boundaries, and be humble, genuine, and considerate.

• Social Quotient (SQ): this is a measure of your ability to build and maintain a social network over time.

Individuals with a higher EQ and SQ are likely to achieve greater success in life than those with a high IQ but a low EQ and SQ. The majority of schools place a premium on increasing IQ scores while downplaying EQ and SQ.

Even if he has an average IQ, a man with a high IQ can be hired by a man with a high EQ and SQ.

Your EQ reflects your personality, whereas your SQ reflects your charisma. Allow yourself to develop routines that will help you improve these three Qs, particularly your EQ and SQ.

There is now a fourth, a new paradigm:

• The Adversity Quotient (AQ) is a measure of your ability to weather adversity in life and emerge unscathed.

When confronted with adversity, AQ predicts who will surrender, who will abandon their family, and who will contemplate suicide.

Please, parents, expose your children to more than just academics. They should have an appreciation for manual labor (never use work as a form of punishment), sports, and the arts.

They develop their IQ, EQ, SQ, and AQ. They should develop into diverse individuals capable of acting independently of their parents.

Finally, do not pave your children's paths. Prepare your children for the road by providing them with appropriate clothing. "
