Your Vote Matters

The other day, one news anchor held an interview with some of the presidentiable candidates, and it was a great help especially to us citizen of the philippine, so we can start deciding who we gonna vote for. There are alot of topics and questioned had been discussed, but since our tv and signal is not cooperating so I wasn't able to watch the whole interviewed.

But I got one topic that I love to focus on, its about the vote buying issue.

One presidentiable candidates is anti vote buying but delivered this words "kapag may kandidatong nagbigay ng pera sa inyo tanggapin nyo, pero iboto nyo kung sino ang nararapat", this words became controversial before and opened up again. As per comelec this is an act of vote buying too and vote buying is strictly prohibited.

Vote Buying- is an act of receiving money from the political candidates during campaign period or the day before the proper election in exchange of voting that particular politicians, even they dont deserve the positions they run for.

For me, she has the point there, if ever meron din magbigay sa akin ng pera this coming campaign period, I will accept din, why? kasi I never ask them that money kusang loob nilang binibigay yun and for sure yung pera na pinapamigay is pedeng galing din sa kaban ng bayan,or from people na nasa pwesto and I know for sure thet They will not give that money if galing yan mismo sa bulsa nila, lalo maliit yung chance nila na manalo, and for sure babawiin din nila yan if nakaupo na sila, or if matalo man sila walang pagsisi dahil ung pinamigay nila is galing sa resources or funds na donated para sa kanila.

Why I am accepting the money?

Simply, once the voting day has come they will not even recognize that you voted for them or not, the ballot paper has no name and even they hired private watchers during the elections, they can't touch our ballot papers and check every details of what you write and whom did you vote.

Now the question is, am I going to vote for that candidate who gave me the money?

Well my answer is its depends, if the candidate is deserving, like he/she has a good track record, many achievements as public servants, you can count on when its needed, more of actions than words, mas tutok sa nasasakupan nya kesa laging nakakulong lang sa opisina nya, if ganyan ung kandidato iboboto ko sya definitely, pero if the candidates is puro salita lng at wla naman nakikitang nga projects nya, lagi lang nakakulong sa opisina nya, taz may tsismis pa na babaero, ndi mo malapitan or mahingian ng tulong, aba I will not vote for him/her kahit pa abutan nya ako ng ilang libo.

Ito po ay ayon sa pananaw ko lamang, wla po akong planong kumbinsihin kayo na gawin din ang bagay na labag sa loob nyo at kung anuman ang pananaw nyo sa bagay na ito ay nirerespeto ko po kaya sana walang violent reactions haha, nagiging practical lang ako sa dahil sa kahirapan, at alam ko na ung ibang sasang-ayon sa idea ko ay practicality lng din ang pinapairal dahil ramdam nila ang hirap ng buhay pero alam din nila kung sino ang karapat dapat na iboto.

The only thing we can do is vote wisely! Even the candidate we vote is a loser, but atleast we did our part.
