"Its better to give than to receive"

A simple thought but with a great impact to a receiver, whether you are a giving a single penny, material things, food and love.

This holiday season, the spirit of giving is really practice, whether you are an ordinary/poor or rich, in politics or in local community, but there are some people who rather choose to receive rather than giving, tho I know we are not obliged to be a giver, but if we learn to give from the heart, the smile you put in someone lips was very meaningful.

I met a family across my journey in life, that they are choosing to be a reciever, tho they sharing some also but this holiday season which is supposed to be the seasons of giving but they choose to be a reciever and keep silent.

Before the exact Christmas day, there are alot of carolers going from house to house and sing christmas carols infront and in exchange of gift or penny, no exact amount was asking from the house owner, as long as it came from the heart. But don't you know what they are doing? They are turning off all thier lights and thier store very early, so the carolers will thought that they are sleeping or away, and the whole holiday season thats thier practice, which saddened me.

Why they can't share a part of thier earnings with those carolers, they have sari sari store and the husband is a teacher and besides the kids are curious, unless they kids doesn't care at all, but what I observe with Adrielle she was very curios that everytime she heard a carolers outside, she always wants to open our door and look for them, so that is my observation during the pre-Christmas day.

Then during the christmas day or pamamasko ng mga bata, they are closed again, they never open eve thier store, the other gate were closed, the door, the windows were all closed, so when there are kids who came to our doorsteps and namamasko, so automatic they will be directed to thier house but they are all dismayed, and hearing them THEY ARE CLOSED (sarado/walang tao) but the truth is they are just inside the house.

Then there were an incident that Dadi, bring viand from house to house, and he knocked on thier door, so the man open and that time there was a little boy na namamasko, so the boy went and said to man, NAMAMASKO PO and you know, what the man replied, PAGBALIK NA LNG, just return later.

Upon hearing that,I dont know what will be my reaction, I want to laugh at the same time got mad, coz its just a little boy, a single penny that you can give will put a smiles on his face, but they choose to reject rather than giving. I know I dont give a big amount to the kids na namamasko dito sa bahay, but I explain to them that I dont have much too, so pasensya na sa pamasko ko, and still they are thankful when I gave them and smiling while walking away.

The thank you and smile I saw with the kids faces are very incomparable. Seeing them happy will make you heart happy too. Christmas is only once a year, and the kids are really looking forward to it, since they never did the pamamasko for 2 years, so why not share some of yours to them and make thier Christmas a memorable ones.

Ung ibang nga na halos wala ng makain nagbibigay sa iba tayo pa kaya na may work at pinagkakakitaan naman.

I know in this aspects of sharing is depends upon us, and I respect them but I just want to share my observation, its not that I share some of mine but the happiness it gives me was so natural, last year we are closed, even there are some kids na namamasko kasi hirap tlga kami, saktong panggastos lng, but my partner was able to give sa inaanak nya.

But this year, I was able to give because of my earnings here, I save a little for the kids, and the feelings was great. Ika nga its not the amount that matters, its the thought that counts.

This wil be for today! I know some are back to work now and others are in holiday break until new year! So enjoy and take care everyone.!

Thanks you for reading and God Bless Us All!

To my sponsors thanks for the love❤️

Sinakripisyo nila yung kita nila sa sari sari store para lang hindi makapamigay sis, parang sa isip nila magsara na maaga bahala ng walang kita basta wala lang mangangaroling.
