Huweteng or STL(Small town Lottery)-is ome of the biggest gambling/lottery that circulates all over the Philippines, some of our fellow kababayans are still depending thier luck with huweteng, and aiming to hold huge amount of money in an instant, and they bet 3x a day using thier hard earned money but they never think how much was thier lost in betting than winning, if they learn how to save those money maybe they are millionares now.

One of those bettor was my partner, ever since I met him he was really into gambling, like sabong(cock-fighting) but after pandemic hits us and mass gathering was stop sabong here was stop also, but huweteng continues after the restrictions were lifted.

My partner spend most of his salary in huweteng, sometimes he did the palta(bet with out pay) or to be paid the next day and most of the times he run out of money and did not bet her numbers and thats the time it will comes out and if that scenario came, I really get mad at him, because all of his money were spend at betting then the number came and he did not win, and I always tell him to stop betting and just save his money but he did not listen so I just shut up my mouth, besides he is the one who is working, so mind you spend your money with whatever he wants.

But lastnight he went out after dinner to fixed her ID for the Tricycle association because of the coming Christmas giftfor them. I dont know what time he arrives as we already fell asleep.

Then this morning, he went to our bed and asking Adrielle if she likes to eat at Jollibee, but Adrielle still not in mood so she nevermind him. Then he told us Adrielle may pangjobee ka na, tumama na din si tatay sa wakas and I can sense that he was really happy and not kidding, so I ask him how much, tumbok ₱40 or ₱24,000. And I was THANKS GOD finally after how many years tumama ka din.

The money was handed to him around ₱10am, I dont know how much was his net money because you need to give balato to the nagpapataya and he promised to share some to all his siblings and nieces and nephews and I calculated it with 4 members per family and they are 13 but one was in romania and I removed our name a total of 11 so all in all almost 44 and each one will receive a hundred , almost ₱5k already, but its ok because sharing is caring its his family and most of the time we are the one who receives coming from them so its payback time.

He handed me ₱10k to be spend for our groceries and bills and for Adrielles Jollibee, and maybe I will kepy the remaining with me, coz weall know easy money, is easily to spend also so if you are not wise you'll end up nothing immediately.

For me, its ok if I spend most of it from our basic needs as we are really running out of stocks already, so I'll be prioritizing them so before the year ends I dont have to worry much about the stocks as I want them fill when the year is about to end, its our superstitious belief that eveyrthing should be fill in before the year end so you'll be lucky for the coming year and the blessings, i know we still needto work for the blessings and lucky but theres no harm if we can do the filling of items if you have the money at hand rather than spending it with useless things or you keep holding on and spend it little by little and you'll not notice you already run out of money and the also run of out of basic needs.

Maybe well do buying the stuff if the weather permits, but if not I will do it by tomorrow,.lets see how much will i'll be spending with restocking, excited to do the grocery because the money I alot is ₱5k, unlike the usual grocery before that is very limited, but of course I am still hoping that I wont be spending all the ₱5k, I still need to save up or maybe includes our day out tomorrow.

This is not to brag, but just want to share with you the happiness my partner had and of course I am happy too for him and for Adrielle as she was really asking to buy her Jollibee and this time she can eat what she wants which is rice,chicken, french fries, ice cream because most of the time I can't buy her that food when we go out because of very minimal budget, but tomorrow I can let her enjoy this meal, I just hope that the weather will be good tomorrow and later in the afternoon.
