BCH Fork: Who is Winning?

19 days to go before the fork

On the 6th of August current year, Bitcoin ABC full node team's lead developer Amaury Séchet instigated a network split. He proposed the coinbase rule wherein 8% coinbase reward will be directed into an address he controls.

This 8%, as explained by Amaury Séchet will go to the developers to fund for protocol enhancement/maintenance. But, majority of the Bitcoin Cash community opposed on Séchet's proposol calling it as a self interest act.

Users of BCHN is advised to upgrade their wallets and to hold onto their keys. While miners on the other hand is required to upgrade their full node software (BCHN node ver.22.0.0).

Who is winning?

Since day 1, when the potential fork is announced, majority of the Bitcoin Cash community supports the BCHN and opposed Bitcoin ABC.

As of today, BCHN is still winning this fork.

Nor that we support BCHN or any node, but we are against the coinbase rule and therefore against ABC on this (despite their previous good work).

If you're afraid of what will be the outcome. I suggest to trade your bch first then see the aftermath. Or stick with your coins then claim the free tokens the other side will give. The question is, will it be easy to claim the free token

Im not building my portfolio yet. But planning to inbest on xrp. All my earnings right now is converted to my countries currency. Need to buy a new laptop for the sole purpose of writing here at readcash

I think you should have converted it to XRP. There is a bigger chance that it can increase in price and has more lower fee if ever you get back to Bch. Disclaimer, not a financial advisor. But everyone right now is talking about it.
