Kingdom of Fog and Light
In the kingdom of fog and light live the joyous and happiest people on earth. It’s a magical place one could never imagine existed. It is between the where the sun rises and where the mist and fog meet. You only get to see this kingdom at the right moment. Like in a dream, when you see it, you will soon forget all about it. It only lasts as long as the light and fog meet. Anyone can go there. How do you get there you may ask. It is through your mind. If you think and wish hard enough, if you really desire to go, you will find yourself there. No one is sure how exactly but they will just find themselves teleported there. So Narnia-like it seems. Those who can manage to go were given a choice if they want to stay or not. If you choose to stay, you will be there for life. There’s no going back. If you choose to stay, your existence outside the kingdom is not erased. Those who know you will know that you are in that kingdom. How? It’s a mystery but they’ll know. Those who have been there and wanted to go back couldn’t do it anymore no matter how much they tried. Their desires have been tainted. They wanted more. Then the kingdom started to be seen less and less. You see this kingdom of fog and light exists because of nature. Soon the destruction of nature, of trees, of rivers, the pollution in the air, the destruction we called development, made the kingdom shun itself from the outside world. In order to protect itself, it only reveals itself to those who have been tainted yet by greed but are more concerned about nature. Even so, even if you have a heart in one with nature, the kingdom can only show itself but can’t take you in because it cannot heal you from what the world has done to you. So for now, the kingdom is as elusive as a distant memory you can’t recall as much as you want to but you just can't.
I was supposed to submit this for a prompt in another site but realized it's not appropriate. I did not read it properly when I wrote this one so why not post it here instead. This was taken in one of my walks and might have posted it here or in other site. I was reminded of Earth Day so I came up with this. We really should do what we can more than ever to preserve the resources that we have. Plant more trees. Plant what you can eat. Reduce your carbon footprint. Recycle. Reuse. We all know all these. Let's put them to practice. I will be offline for this weekend, maybe two days or more. So I am just posting this and then be signing off. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Nature is its palace. The earth the floor, the trees the walls and the heavens are the roof :D

My dear friend, it was very interesting, I got acquainted with your article about the kingdom of fog and light. It is very bitter that many people don't take any care of nature and always do very bad damage to nature with their destructive deeds every day.
We are already well informed about the effects of what we do with nature that's why we should take care of what's left.
The only thing is for you to be lost in thought thinking about the fog and the light and boom, you are there automatically. No one knows how you get there, but you can determine to stay forever or be brought back to reality.
If only we can be in that kingdom forever.
Thinking about the environment is such a good thing. While walking outside in the winter, dawn gives the chance of encountering fog. I like a foggy walk. But driving in fog could be crazy to experience.
That happened to us while we were driving home. We had to be careful since the road is winding and on the side of the mountains.
If we don't preserve what wehave right now, the future generation will surely have nothing but scorching heat of the sun and brown mountains.
That's the sad reality.
Issue din talaga ng garbage yung dapat Natin pagtuunan ng pansin. In our own little ways, we must aspire to become a responsible dwellers of earth. Hiyang hiya si Earth Satin. We must live a sustainable life. ❤

I am in the Kingdom and observing the sunrise woww that's human mind has great functions of imagination that may take it in to heaven in just awhile
So true, I hope we won't lose sight of the kingdom before it is totally gone and we can just regretfully recall how marvelous it is to live there. There is no other kingdom and we should take care of it.
