Plant Based Protein 🥙 . Whenever I talk about lentils and pulses being plant based protein I'm corrected by so many people that they are carbs and not proteins. . . Absolutely , lentils and pulses do have carbs , but then all your fruits also have carbs. Your milk , yogurt and cheese also have carbs and so does you're veg . Why fear carbs. Carbs are great and your body needs them . . . We need to think 🧐about other nutrients as well . Lentils and Pulses are a fabulous source of protein, and so many other vitamins and minerals. They are extremely high in fibre so the carbs are slowly released in our body . . Including plant based protein in our diet has lots of health benefits and great for our planet . 🌍 . . 3 Bean Veg Soup 🥙 . .Chickpeas .Kidney Beans .Butter Beans (or any beans of your choice) .Tomatoes 🍅 .Onion🧅 .Carrots🥕 .Green Pepper (shimla mirch) .Ginger and Garlic 🧄 .Salt & Pepper . Red chilli powder .Zeera powder .Cinnamon Powder /stick .Chicken stock . . Sauté all the veg in a teaspoon of oil . Mix the spices and cook for few minutes . Add in all your beans ( already boiled) . Let it cook . Add chicken stock and simmer . . .
