Of the 13 imported cases, five are permanent residents who returned to Singapore from India on Aug 11.
Six other cases also arrived on the same day, comprising a dependent's pass holder from India and a long-term visit pass holder from Philippines, two work permit holders currently employed in Singapore from the Philippines, as well as two student's pass holders from India.
The remaining two imported cases are short-term visit pass holders who arrived from Bangladesh on Aug 21. They were allowed entry on medical grounds, as one of them had been seeking treatment in Singapore and the other is a parent and caregiver.
All the imported cases had been placed on stay-home notice upon their arrival in Singapore, said MOH.
ONE NEW CLUSTER AT PREVIOUSLY CLEARED DORM
The remaining 73 cases reported on Sunday were workers residing in dormitories.
The Inter-agency Taskforce has completed the testing of all workers in the dormitories, said the ministry.
About 13,500 workers are still serving out their quarantine period.
"These workers will be tested when their quarantine ends, and we expect the case counts to remain high in the coming days, before tapering down thereafter," said MOH.
One new cluster was also identified at Homestay Lodge at 39 Kaki Bukit Avenue 3, comprising one new case and four previously confirmed cases. The dormitory had previously been cleared of COVID-19 by the Ministry of Manpower on Aug 4.
The health ministry also reported on Sunday that 244 more COVID-19 cases were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 54,164 have fully recovered.
There were 76 confirmed cases still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and none is in the intensive care unit.
A total of 2,086 were isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
Twenty-seven people have died from complications due to COVID-19.
