Days would really just be something "bland" when you're on auto-pilot mode. You won't notice how the weather was better than yesterday, or that traffic was not terrible today, or that you accomplished a lot of things today.
It's because your mind is so clouded with thoughts—I don't know if past or future things—just everything but present. You forget to live in the present, so you fail to see the little beautiful things that make up a good day.
It could be a nice cup of coffee that wasn't too hot or too cold. It may also be a sudden reunion with an old friend. Or a stranger's dog coming to greet you that made you forget life's worries even just for a few minutes.
Have you noticed that you made at least one person happy today? Did you forget that you've come so far? That you are now living a life you used to only dream of?
Friend, why not try to live in the present? Feel the grief now. Let yourself immerse in your emotions—don't shrug it off and say "Later". Feel the joy now, enjoy the time with your loved ones, or even just with yourself.
Life is short. Before you knew it, you're at least three decades here in this temporary place. Why not use these precious years to appreciate the wind, the trees, the coffee shops, and your cute alarm tone?
It's not too late to appreciate your life. Remember, you are your story's main character.
