The bloody war for freedom and peace has resulted to the loss of many innocent lives for nothing. Amidst the burst of deafening gun fires, devastations, stink of unknown corpses and threats of death by execution carried out in the most gruesome manner emerged on affinity among the victims helping each other survive the horror of an insane bloodbath. As the smoke of war settles, we hear from survivors how they were saved by each other. From the comfort of our homes hundreds of miles away from the battle scene, we witnessed the actual footages of how a formerly pristine city was destroyed by combat between our fellow filipinos. The insurgency happening in our country brought by the terrorism acts resulted in great loss of lives and properties. The real casualties of these violent extremists are the countless of innocent women and children. The war against terrorism is far from over. We should work hand in hand in order to combat the problem to have a peaceful and thriving nation for the future generation.
