Hi there Mods. I have a question about the views and thumbs on articles. When I go and check the article in my profile I see a number of views and thumbs, but if I view my article posted in a community, the views, thumbs and comments are many more. So how does that work??

I don't know. Maybe it shows you at first only the views and thumbs up on only one community, while clicking on it shows all. But I also think it may be because the preview of articles is not as fastly updated as the article itself. Let's ask @Read.Cash

Yeah I am not really sure that is why I put on this question.

Basically, there is an article and submissions to various communities. Both article and each of its submissions have its own views, comments, thumbs up, upvotes. Each one is like a copy of your article. Think of it like Reddit or Facebook groups - each time you submit your writing somewhere - there's a different set of people who will read it, comment on it, etc....

Ok so the points for 10 thumbs ? Does it take into account all of them? Or only once? And in out profile which one do we see?? The first community that accepts it?

Yes, if you reach 10 thumbs in 3 communities - you get three times more points - for each accomplishment.

Currently, in your profile you see a non-community submitted article, but we'll soon be showing the first community that accepted among the ones that you yourself submitted to (to avoid situation where your article is submitted to some weird community that you don't want to promote). Also, affiliate links are only for non-community submitted articles and boosts lead to non-community version of article too (currently, but it'll be fixed).

Basically we are currently in transition to a state where an article will be in a community and most probably only one community. But right now we need to transition into it :)
