Since Bitcoin Cash has forked from Bitcoin their address formats are the same. To have people not accidentally send BTC to a BCH address, BCH has changed into a new format, which you use today. But some exchanges or services still use the old address format (because they are lazy and reckless), so in these cases you can simply use the address converter here: https://cashaddr.bitcoincash.org/ Type in a BCH cashaddr or legacy format and you will get the equivalent other format as a result.
