For the last couple of days, this platform has been pretty much like a war field: Insults, offensive memes, name calling and so on. It's very surprising how a simple contest went utterly out of control. I also read that post made by read.cash which obviously reflect how much this guy is struggling to keep this platform alive. He even banned himself for breaking his own rules. But all of this gloomy atmosphere here makes me wonder: Is this the moment when we say goodbye read.cash? I really hope not, and to be honest, it would be a big shame for such a promising platform to end this way...

The question is if read.cash says goodbye to us because we didn't invest in this platform and made a mess out of it. 😕

Read.cash never said goodbye. I am seeing a more coordinated read.cash site envolving from here, a system in which everything is controlled by an automod. So @Read.cash will be watching from behind the scene.

I know that read.cash never said goodbye, yet at least, but from that article he posted it was very clear that the man is struggling. And he is right. Dueling with all that kind of stress is very exhausting. I just hope everything will be alright.

We can take it that way too I guess. But not all of the users are responsible for this mess. Actually if it was up to me i wouldn't let that supposed to be contest exist at the first place. In my openion, read.cash is complelty right. It went to utterly madness for the sake of money. My financial situation is crap myself, but i will never participate in such things only because of that. If this platform survives this, which I really hope, then read.cash should ban in the future every competition that he doesn't sponsor himself. The writing contest you made for example was great! everyone enjoyed and even earned some money from it without any insults or name calling. That's what we want in read.cash. Not the kind of crap i'm seeing now.

I wonder about that automod and how it will filter out text on images as well. But I don't think this is really goodbye to read.cash though right now it does feel a bit hollow to be here but still. There was no announcement that this was the end. Let's just see where the changes will take us

Yeah. We can do nothing about it anyway except wait and see plus of course hoping for the best.

I hope not. In every platform there is always a technical issue. I just thought this happenings as that. But eventually, it will go back to it's normal functioning mode. Let's let the time heal all wounds.

I'm not fully sure if time can heal all the wounds but it makes it better at least. Yesn we all hope that everything is going back to normal again. Why not even better hopefully.

A crisis can be good and strengthening. Nietzsche said "What doesn't crush me makes me stronger". Let's hope a stronger read.cash grows from the ashes of this crisis.

I've always liked that saying of Nietzsche, and I really hope that will be the case with read.cash too.
