Good day friends, has anyone noticed that the notification bell isn't functional at the moment. It either remain red or blank even when you have dozens of notifications.
I also noticed that the OC detector is malfunctioning lately. For some articles i have to moderate this morning, the OC either remain red or blank. Has anyone similar experience

Yup. It's always red in my end too. Then the option "mark these read" disappeared.
The mark this as read has appeared now, but the bell?

Yes, it's always red so it's confusing. That's why i just keep refreshing it. But i don't know about the OC checker
If you will not know about the OC except you are a moderator. It's hard for me to know which is original content now. Have to skip some articles submitted
They notify the user too when the content they write is similar to someone else's or if they're from the internet so I'm aware of it a bit
Yes they notify you if your article is similar to someone else on the internet

Well, the link itswlf basically counted as content somehow and that in itself caused the warning to pop up
Yeah, the OC detector scanned contents as well to check for similar phases or sentences
It's kind of cool though, makes the moderating task a bit easier
Yeah, but sometimes it does fails. Like today's morning, it wasn't working properly. I have to double check before approving

Yes, the OC detector is malfunctioning. I have also posted an article and didn't get any EXC badge, which I certainly should have had. I suppose that is a part of the same malfunction.
Now I have to do more extra work before approving an article into the community where I moderate
