Hope.

A domain of liars and evil corporation. They steal our joy and money and peace and freedom And count on us to keep it under our skins. No more can we walk in peace on roads. Far clouds doth envelope realism. Fear also clouds our senses. And young people now rush into a devoid of pleasure. Riches and fame hungry generation. Quickly they want it done. As ice quenches heat. Intensity by wicked and ruthless leaders. Merciless as a tornado. It is now too difficult to do what is right. Frustration pushes us to do against our wish. We just want to survive, In this den of inordinate capacity. Many have fled across the shores, To places paradise sweet in peace. Leaving us behind in a Thorn of hot coal. Who will save us from this suffering? A revolutionist drums talks of revolution. An evangelist yells the impending doom of humanity into the air. A widow cries "God help us". A childless follows suit. The government soothe us with words daily, Years come and go. Still we pray for the country of our dreams. A place where folks from the so-called superior color of humanity run head over hills to for a better life. Oh we pray. Day in and day out, For that better place. For you and for me and the entire human race. Although in faded hoplessness we still pray And Hope. Hope.
