What can I post to read.cash? We strive to build a place with a lot of reading and viewing content, where readers can compensate authors, not a place with endless fights or spam.

Post nothing that is clearly illegal, especially illegal according to the European Union, nothing full of hate without pornography, erotic content or sexuality. No name calls, name calls, personal attacks or name calls.

We will remove such content.

We do not yet have a fixed set of rules, so keep the site clean. The general rule of thumb: if you do not feel comfortable printing your article in large print with all the images and hanging them on your front door, do not post them.

Do I have to give my real name? No, use the nickname you want.

Can I have more than one account? If you use it to post different content on different topics, why not? If you're trying to make it seem like a lot of people agree on something, maybe it's just you who can be banned.

I reinstalled my browser and I have no money! I remember you said something about seed words, but I lost / wrote it. Can you help? No, as you said in the introduction after signing up, your "keywords" were the keys to your Bitcoin Cash and if you lose it, no one can help you. Access to that money is gone forever, no one can use it now. As we told you: write down your opening words and do not tell anyone, just use them to restore access to your money.

How can I use my keyword backup to access Bitcoin Cash? You can enter the original words in the Bitcoin.com wallet. (See manual)

Is Bitcoin Cash a scam? Is it funded by Roger Ver? No and no (at least from this writing, 29 November 2019). However, Roger Ver seems to us to be a good guy. Although I never met him.

As for the "scam" part. Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are different projects, everyone understands it now. The scam allegations have always been aimed at using the name "Bitcoin" in the name, but it makes sense to us. People wanted bigger blocks in Bitcoin, but the Bitcoin developers did not separate from Bitcoin (BTC) to make another currency they called Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Actually, this project (at least from October 2019) uses the free service rest.bitcoin.com to execute the chain transactions. Free for us, not free for Roger Ver's bitcoin.com (which is why he subsidizes the development of many things related to Bitcoin Cash, not just ours).

Why Bitcoin Cash (BCH)? Why not Bitcoin (BTC)? Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has low rates by design.

Bitcoin (BTC) has high and unpredictable fees by design. Yes, by design. The fee to send Bitcoin reached $ 50 in December 2017. This is for simple transactions. The complex could cost more than $ 1,000.

Some proponents of Bitcoin (BTC) claim that a fee of $ 100 per transaction is not only good, it's great!

Obviously, you would not pay $ 50 to give someone a vote of more than $ 0.10. This is where Bitcoin Cash shines. The typical (median) fee for Bitcoin Cash is $ 0.0006 (as of October 2019). The typical Bitcoin (BTC) fee is $ 0.10 at the same time, which is not large but still 166 times higher than BCH.

The biggest problem, however, is that as the use of Bitcoin (BTC) grows, this rate rises. This is an unacceptable risk for us. We want Bitcoin to grow, but not at the cost of $ 50 per transaction. This is not the same with Bitcoin Cash (BCH): the fee is more or less constant. It will rise if the price of BCH rises, but not so dramatically.

And the developers tried to keep the fees below 1 cent.

Who is behind this project? The team. We prefer to remain anonymous for the time being. However, we think it does not matter much. Upvote payments are peer-to-peer on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, the private key is only stored in your browser, so you need no reason to trust us so much. We do not store your money (your browser does not), we do not transfer it (your browser does).

How can I get in touch with you? Send an email to hello@read.cash or via Reddit; send a message to u / readcash. We also have a public reddit for discussions about r / readcash.

How can I donate to promote development? Vote for this article or write another article (on any topic) and vote for yourself. 100% of those votes vote for us. Vote on articles from other people and 10% goes to us.
